Pilot Manifest: The Source of all Things Page 8

by Tekla, Lucien

I then abridged for the Supreme Minister the honorable petition, ongoing courtship, arrival of the newcomer—everything leading to and including the episode last night that ended with the arrest.

After our chamber contemplated this disturbance for the better part of the morning, it was determined that a crime against an individual is more complicated than it seems. In fact, such a crime is an act against the community and the Sovereign State. Here’s why: The attack against a peaceful community member forced him to defend himself, which degraded the welfare of the community. And, as the protector of community welfare—which is subsumed by the promise of peace—the attack forced a defensive response by state police. This threatened their wellbeing, and so threatened their ability to provide State Security.

Our determination was this: The assault against a citizen, which escalated to violence against police, displayed the same core malevolence possessed by the army of terrors who brought war, and delivered widespread destruction and death to our country. It was determined by our chamber that if such aggression is displayed, it must be thwarted prior to it advancing psychologically, and materializing in a greater act of violence.

At that point I was again honored by the remarks of the Supreme Minister, as he agreed with the assessment and waited for word of the resolution.

For the final verdict, I have brought the three citizens involved to join us at the cliff, at our high ocean view.

Once the three citizens were retrieved from the other vehicles, I again presented the chamber’s official thoughts on the case, along with the chambers determination. I then stated that no law is in place to which we may refer at this point in time. A resolution must be made. Furthermore, it has been determined that the girl will fulfill her responsibility as a citizen, and help us decide the sentence and therefore the law.

State Policy will be created in response to your actions, my dear, I assured her.

I instructed the guards to please take each of the blindfolded men over to the edge, at the cliff. Stand them there.

I spoke to the young farm girl with calm. She accepted the determination of the chamber, and she understood that the Supreme Minister concurred with the chamber’s position that such threats are precursors to sinister acts. I instructed her to take my revolver and shoot the man that threatened peace in our society—either the sentry or the newcomer.

I understand you’re reluctant, I told her. We all can imagine your fear. Listen, my love for our community includes you, it truly does. I understand this request is difficult. Difficult tasks are necessary for the defense of peace. You must find great clarity in knowing that this is the purest national interest, its faithful form.

We are the first generation of the new world, I told her. We have the great responsibility, in this community of ours, to be the perfect example for all of humanity. As our brave patriot fighters have defeated invading armies and their insurgent allies, we are commissioned by the will of the people to foster the infancy of our developing nation by severing all threats to a future of peace.

We must construct the foundation upon which prosperity will be built. We must eliminate anything that would destroy it, here, today and all days. We must become the knights of humanity.

You see the Supreme Minister there, yes, now remember that he stands resolute against the threat that was made against us, against the framework of our community, against the potential of peace. It is a direct threat to the sanctity of Sovereign, my dear. The Supreme Minister looks to you, as I turn to you, to accept a most important role—the role of the people that says: we will reject all instances of violence cast against us. We will destroy anything and everything that threatens the glory of our peaceful country.

With calm, the young farm girl made her decision. With the wind from the West blowing her dark hair, she tried to control her soft quivering lips. Her large dark eyes blinked in fear. Her loveliness was unmistakable, that’s true. The revolver was heavy in her delicate hands when she revealed her most beautiful patriotism: She raised the pistol and shot the newcomer.

I had complete faith in her action, I told the others and the sentry once his blindfold was removed. It was the logical decision and I felt her intelligence truly rivaled her beauty.

Have no remorse, my dear, difficult action such as this is imperative in maintaining peace and prosperity. We can attest to that, and to your brave patriotism. Your contribution represents the core defense of humanity. Be confident in each other, I told the young couple—as if joining them in matrimony—as worthy and vital citizens of this great country. Live today and everyday knowing we are proud of you.

  Escort them back please.

In response to the Supreme Minister, I had to admit that if she was unable to perform this difficult act, I would understand. The outcome would have been the same. Quarter would not be given because of a nervous executioner. Though, her inability would go against logical prediction as I knew her ultimate desire for acceptance by her country, via her Supreme Minister, would overwhelm her fear of killing. It’s also my belief that the defense of peace is the core consciousness of a true citizen of the Sovereign State. I had faith that such awareness existed in her.

I agree, I said to the Supreme Minister’s speculation that we could face numerous complications in sustaining the efforts required for abolition of threats such as displayed by the newcomer. So, we must be diligent in our efforts in learning ways to identify such individuals in order to remove them prior to their involvement in a peace threatening act, indeed much earlier.

It was then that I expressed my vision for incorporating an obedient nature into the design by which the future would be built. He listened—in harmony with my words—as I dreamed about an ally of science. I humbly admitted to having knowledge of a core group of scientists who had been working on the intricacies of evolution. If they have survived in their seclusion all this time, their research could become a keystone to the expansion of the world. I spoke of their DEITI project: It is as invisible as creation, as obedient as faith, and Sovereign—the steward of humanity—will be its God.

  — 6

The Supreme Minister was inspired by our unwavering defense of peace. As things bond in the coming months, or weeks, we’ll organize my personal mission into the mainland, a venture to locate the DEITI scientists, with a brigade of Firebrand at my side.

Then, I was struck by thoughts of our humble achievement. I was able to express our rise from desolation. I articulated my sincere ambition. I told the Supreme Minister: I believe our unending commitment to structure, order, and to the glory of humanity through prosperity and peace has produced a working model with exceptional intrinsic merit, with a perceivable value worthy of your trust that will prove someday to be an asset worth building into the larger mainland government.

I’m honored to announce, here on the faithful pages of this dear manifest, that the Supreme Minister agreed. His serious consideration—for some time, in fact—had been to instate our chamber assembly as a prospective wing of government. Copeland, Commander Elmhurst and the rest, yes, our island chamber will soon become the Chamber of State. The Supreme Minister has decided that we should consider it done. Soon, it will be official—once the mainland congress initiates and passes the proposal, our formation as an important echelon of government will be confirmed.

We’ll create the highest level of security for our chamber, while remaining in our lodge. I’d have it no other way. The skeleton identities will remain secret to the outside world. Only their names and offices held will be disclosed to the outside population, including officials, for the security of Sovereign.

Our communications, for security reasons, will be severely limited and will travel via proxies controlled by the Supreme Minister. On rare occasions an official could be flown in to join us in discussing important matters. If and when that occurs, the official’s true dedication to the salvation of humanity will be tested.

Also, in regard to outside officials: We have predi
cted that in their eyes it will be deemed integral for at least one mainland official to be transferred to our chamber for validation. Representatives would deem such a position as an elevated station, and the appointment would be given to a well deserving fellow.

For the time being and the foreseeable future, isolation will protect the sanctity of our honorable mission. It will be safe from perversion by loud voices, and will remain clandestine until those voices have been quieted—either persuaded to the greatness of the new brand or otherwise silenced. This freedom from controversy will allow the time necessary for the implementation of a solid foundation, and to build enough momentum to establish trust and faith.

Beyond the lodge windows the wilderness disappeared in the frost. The Supreme Minister spoke quietly, saying that he could see how time spent in such a place could provide, to a meditative person, a quiet necessary to apprehend a peaceful ideology. Political systems were forgotten in a veil of ice. The purest principles appeared in a forest of snow. The new standard was prominent within desolation and revealed to us a vision of rising glory for Sovereign—the great defender of humanity. We will fortify our unification of power. We will persevere. I believed in the vision. It was a great honor to share such a time with the Supreme Minister. The guards and the Firebrand drank with us.

The Supreme Minister is confident in the strategy that will encourage the congress to validate this chamber. And even though that has not yet occurred, we have decided to call to order our first Assembly of the Chamber of State. It will remain off mainland books.

  — Official State Assembly, OSA-1

The Supreme Minister has reiterated our plans in the presence of the fully attended assembly by affirming his commitment to the establishment of this chamber in the hierarchy of government.

This chamber will serve our ideology without compromise.

State Officials will be welcome to gather in the near future, it has been said.

There are three principle actions needed for the rebirth and glory of the country:

  1. A constitution that reflects the Ideology of the One Sovereign State.

  2. This Chamber must be woven into the fabric of government.

  3. Unification of power.

It is a delicate and inspiring time.

After an enlightened discussion, we added an item of great interest to today’s agenda: A letter addressed to the world that will declare Sovereign’s determination for a gallant defense of humanity. The Supreme Minister is certain that if such a patriotic document were being created in our chamber, that our validation would be expedited. I agreed, I said, and fortunately, I have been anticipating the need for such a document for quite some time.

We then acknowledged that a government will be hailed that glorifies the greatness of the people and attends to their concerns—the primary concern of the people is security.

We have been discerning in regard to policy, and have discovered a few items vital to the constitution. There should be a few, anyway.

We’ve also observed how most selections of political representatives in the mainland have stemmed naturally from tactical leaders emerging in conflict, along with a few well regarded military strategists. They’ve become recognized by the masses. It should go without saying, but I will anyway, that the Supreme Minister undoubtably is the brightest, although humble, star of the group.

He will soon return to the mainland and solidify the new constitution, confirm this chamber, and discuss the penning of our declaration letter. He will be focused on the unification of power. These are the stated goals. He will also find the solution to another intricacy: determining the mainland official to be appointed to our chamber.

Our first assembly was effortless. We adjourned.

The Supreme Minister enjoyed his stay. Steady progress has made our island outpost more accommodating than I had imagined. Guests can stay for extended periods and be provided with much adventure, comfort and, as it’s been acclaimed, generous pleasure. The community moves in order, contented in peace.

I was gratified knowing that my son would be able to experience the earliest manifestations of the new world from the earliest age. It will all be laid out before him, the way the world should be. His loving mother agrees that he will make—excuse me—that he will demonstrate the greatness of a true American Patriot, in the most meaningful sense. He will follow in our footsteps until the way is his to forge, which he will do with honor and vigor. At that time he will personify the essence required of a State Leader. And truthfully, it will be as it should be, that the leader of Sovereign will rule the world.

I must digress slightly by saying it’s in the greatest hope for mankind that such aspirations can be held. For we know plainly that humanity unruled leads to its own bickering and eventual destruction.

I watched with great pride as our little military boy explored the ground, oceanside. He was amazed by the noise of the accelerating propellers and raging engines of the mighty warbirds lifting off to carry away the Supreme Minister and his men.

I was filled with great anticipation as the formation departed. I imagined the Supreme Minister’s success in elevating our isolated chamber to a vital, independent branch of government. I’ll attempt to dwell on matters that are accessible to me and trust in his convincing, quiet strategy.

  — 9

I’ve been somewhat reclusive the last few days due to my committed drafting of our declaration letter. The existence of this letter will soon be known, if it isn’t already, to the mainland officials, as they will have begun deliberation over the chamber’s promotion.

The goals of the declaration letter are simple. It will recognize factual events, proclaim intentions and expectations in clear terms. It will also demonstrate our synthesis of ideology, power, history, and current inception of the world—meaning the recovery after suffering the mass devastation of war.

Of course, in frequent instances where I have no direct experience, adherence to the words of the Supreme Minister will be necessary. So far it reads as follows:

  — To All the World:

In the wake of instability and exploitation of war, all humanity will unite. Every person will prosper and be utilized for the benefit of civilization. With our Great Allies, America will defend humanity against the viciousness of man.

The United States is a new country. We will honor our history and retain the vision that our forefathers presented in 1776. Also, in order to designate our evolutionary national identity, we will expand the USA designation to USSA:

  Unified Sovereign State of America.

Indeed, the beloved war cry heard across the battlefields echoes still in chants of victory for our most powerful force of brave American Patriots: the SVRN.

  Sovren!! Sovren!! Sovren!!

As the identity of the USSA changed with the war, we have redefined our borders and identified a distinguished citizenry which includes bringing people of collapsed neighboring countries into the fold. With full cooperation of our longtime neighbors, Sovereign increased its geographical boundaries with a continental expansion from Canada to Panama. New lands are included that had been ravished by acts of war. Suffering populations will be relieved. The resources within these territories will benefit those struggling. They will be defended and they will prosper as citizens of Sovereign. Furthermore, production in these territories will increase the resources necessary for international progress and security.

The war was brought to us because complacency failed our once dominant society. Politics failed us. Politics, the corruption of wealth, and religion betrayed humanity.

The world leaders were misguided. Self-interest overshadowed everything. This included incapacitating decrees set forth from the glass house of the old United States.

In the years before war, rifts formed as our country was saturated by comfortable narcissism. Reliance on the success and labor of past generations weakened us. Increased political distance enabled a reckless and accommodating
American government the leverage to control and impoverish the masses—who were content with dependency, and who were preoccupied by deviant group rights. Thus, the chasm between life and prosperity was perpetuated.

Essentially, the old way, Capitalism and the rest, was destroyed before the war, before disruption and invasion forces arrived.

Within the rift, our military and citizenry stood side by side fighting and sacrificing themselves to save our way of life. An awareness surfaced. It was apparent that our way of life needed to be purified in order to be salvaged.

In the clear stood true American Patriots. The old-world reign of back-channelling was over.

The failed monetary system is being replaced with a system based on service, duty, and community. A living trade is the true and appropriate economic solution for the prosperity of every citizen and for the greatness of Sovereign. We will witness the truest form of E Pluribus Unum.

Of course, some objections may arise in these early days. Conflicting ideas may be presented by radicals in hopes of reinstating debunk and disintegrated political and economic systems. Have faith in knowing that all promotion of such disastrous ideas will be met with a bullet.

We must protect the young chance at life for the new way. Anyone standing in opposition is of the same mind, and is as guilty as those who sanctioned the corruption of the old way. They choose to be heirs of corruption and they will be destroyed.

Politicians who stood by dishonest policy and who never raised a fist or pulled a trigger in defense of freedom will quietly emerge from their safe bunkers. Let it be known that if they stand against the true and clear valor of the SVRN American Patriots, they will be shot.

If a rich man claims the right to his wealth and properties, or if the impoverished worker lays claim to a rich man’s old lands, the answer will be the same as heard by the politician and the radical.
