He cupped Kira's cheeks with both hands and looked deep into her lovely blue eyes. "You need a consort, my love, and I want to be that man, here by your side."
Kira leaned forward and covered his lips with her own. They kissed softly, eyes closed, and breathed in the scent of each other's skin.
She smiled against his mouth. "Are you sure that Prince Salin wouldn't be a better choice?"
Bladen growled playfully and gathered her close. "I am your only choice, Royal Protector Kira." He laid hot, passionate kisses on her shoulder, over the mound of her breast and rosy nipple, then down the sweet slope of her hips. "I hope your Aunt Ave gives us a few more hours of negotiation time," he murmured as he reached the sweet juncture of her thighs.
