by Boswell, Ben

"With me or him?" Ashley asked with a giggle.

I smiled. "How about the bride first?" I turned toward Jason, "maybe later?"

He laughed. "Who knows? Lots of booze still at the bar."

He was either a cool customers, or, more likely, Ashley hadn't told him about us.

We got out on the dance floor. It was a slow tune, and we danced closely, though respectfully.

  "Does he know?" I asked.

"No one knows," she said blankly.

"Oh..." I said, a little taken aback by her tone.

She laughed. "I didn't mean it that way. It's just what it is. No one knows. Had to be that way, didn't it?"

I nodded. We danced quietly for a moment.

  "I'm sorry," I said suddenly.

  "For what?"

"Everything. I'm sorry for what happened. For how it ended. For everything."

She stopped, grabbed my arms, and looked me in the eyes. "I'm not. Well, I am sorry about hurting Joanne. I'm so happy to see you guys worked it out. But I not sorry about what happened."

  We started dancing again.

"I abused my position. I was supposed to be watching out for you."

"As I remember it, I virtually raped you the first time."

  "Yeah, but…."

"Listen, I can't tell you how to feel. I can only tell you about me. And for me, it was a great experience."

  "Yeah?"

She giggled. "Like I said, my only regret is Joanne. You know, you almost ruined me for other men."

  "That doesn't sound good."

"But it is," she replied. "You set a high bar. Handsome, successful, a great cook, kind, a wonderful lover. I had to throw a lot of prospects away because they couldn't match up. Everyone's always told me not to settle for less, but having an actual standard to measure men against was... Useful."

  "So Jason?"

She nodded and gave me a saucy grin. "He's not as good a cook, but well, he makes up for it elsewhere."

My stomach did a flip. I was actually jealous. But also happy she was happy.

"I'm glad you're doing well. I... I never wanted to hurt you. I was so worried."

She smiled. "God, you are a sweet man. If anything ever happens to Jason, Joanne better watch out because I'm coming for you."

I laughed. "I wish I could bottle you,” I said, finally expressing part of the sentiments I hadn’t been able to say earlier. “Five minutes with you and I feel twenty years younger."

She stood on her tiptoes and kissed my cheek.

"I better go. Don't worry about me. I'm fine. And you obeyed the campsite rule. You left me in better shape than you found me."

I smiled. "You did the same, you know."

"Thanks for coming, Uncle Danny. It was great seeing you."

She turned and walked back toward Jason and her other friends. They had a line of shots on the table. For them the party was just beginning. But I was tired. I took Joanne by the hand and we went up to our room.

  ***

We hung up our clothes, brushed our teeth, changed into PJs, and climbed together into bed. I spooned her and nuzzled the nape of her neck, my hands reaching around and cupping her full breasts. My, not-so-romantic, offer. She ground her ass back against me. Her practiced response.

She turned to face me. We kissed. I removed her top and kissed her nipples. She reached into my pants and stroked my cock. After a few minutes, we disentangled and removed the rest of our clothes.

I dropped beneath the covers and licked her, sliding a finger inside her. She moaned softly and after a few moments, pulled me back up as she disappeared under the covers and took me deep into her soft, wet mouth in turn.

When I was hard, she shimmied up my body, letting her nipples tickle my thighs and belly. She settled above me and took my prick into her pussy.

We made love slowly, tenderly, as we had literally thousands of times.

  ***

  After, we lay together, cuddling.

"Did you love her?" Joanne asked simply.

She'd never asked me that, or really much of anything about Ashley over the years. By mutual consent, it was something to be ignored, forgotten.

"No," I replied quickly, speaking what I'd realized years ago. "No, I love you. But I loved the idea of her. I don't know if that makes any sense."

She was quiet for a long while. I waited for an answer, waited for her to either validate the sentiment or blow up at its dishonesty. But she did neither. Instead, she sighed softly, and then rolled over and fell asleep.

  About the Author

I am your typical family man with a wife and kids and an overactive imagination. I am a longtime reader and author of erotic fiction. I write in genres that I find exciting and arousing. Most of my stories are in the naughty wife, wife-watching genre, though occasionally I venture into other subject matter.

Reader feedback is what keeps me going. Please feel free to contact me at [email protected] or visit my blog at benboswell.blogspot.com. You can follow me on Twitter @BenBoswellAut.

I have written four other pieces of longer-form fictions.

  Two Sides of Terri

Bill has just about the perfect life. Good paying job. Lovely home. Perfect children. And most of all, he has his wife Terri--smart, funny, great with the kids. Thing is, she's a good girl trapped in a bad girl's body. Blonde, busty, and devastatingly beautiful, she makes him want to do dirty things--things you don't admit to wanting from the girl-next-door.

  Or so he thought.

It starts with a revelation about Chucky, a past boyfriend, and everything he thought he knew about his sweet wife unravels. He becomes obsessed with learning more about this other side of Terri--and everything he learns points back to Chucky, a man she couldn't say no to. Does he dare invite her past back into their present? And if he did, would she now be able to say no?

  Honeymoon Hazards

After being together for seven years, John and Claire marry and jet off to beautiful Hawaii for their honeymoon. It is a paradise of hard bodies in tiny bikinis, mixed drinks consumed in the hot sun, and a resort built for private encounters.

But when John is struck down with a stomach flu, he can do nothing but sit on his balcony and watch others have fun. Discovering his inner voyeur, he finds that spying on a resort full of sexy and adventurous guests is an enjoyable distraction.

That is, until he spots his new bride flirting with an oh-so-handsome stranger by the pool. Things really heat up when Claire disappears from view, and he can't find the stranger, either. As John’s imagination runs wild, the line between fantasy and lust blurs until he can no longer tell where his worst fears end and his fondest desires begin.
