Avery's Adventure: A Daddy's Boy Short Story Page 4

by Athena Steller

“Yes, we have plans the next two days away from the beach but then we have the cabana for another two. I wanted to give you plenty of time to enjoy the sand and water.”

“Thank you, where are we going the next two days?”

“How about you do something other than talk with your mouth?”

“You just don’t want to tell me,” Avery complained.

“True,” Jace agreed. “You did say you wanted this.” He stroked himself.

  Avery groaned.

  “Open wide.”

Avery opened his mouth and Jace slid his cock inside. He closed his lips around the head and sucked.

Jace didn’t rush him. He allowed Avery to play around with his tongue. Avery loved pressing his tongue into Jace’s slit and collecting the precome. He slurped Jace down until Jace was thrusting into his mouth.

Jace peered down at him with so much love in his eyes that Avery never wanted to get off his knees. He’d hold Jace in his mouth forever if Jace continued to look at him that same sweet way.

Jace held Avery’s head tight against his stomach as he came in Avery’s mouth.

Try as he might, Avery couldn’t swallow all of Jace’s seed down.

Jace dropped to his knees in front of Avery and licked up the spilled come around his mouth.

Avery giggled as Jace’s tongue tickled his chin.

“Thank you boy, that was fantastic.”

“You taste so good.” Avery climbed in Jace’s lap. He cuddled close, tired again.

He loved being on the beach and the water had been fun but it was tiring.

  Avery yawned.

Jace rubbed his back. “I brought your tablet. Would you like to watch cartoons and sit out in the sun for a little bit.”

“That’s sounds nice. Can I… can I bring my cup?” He really wanted his binkie but even Avery knew that would be frowned upon.

“I think that would be fine. Let me get it set up for you.”

Jace laid out towels on one of lounge chairs outside the cabana. He reapplied sunblock even though Avery tried to squirm away. His Daddy even moved the umbrella so Avery wasn’t directly in the sun.

Lying on a towel, another covering him, with his cup, Avery rolled to the side as Jace set the tablet on the cooler so Avery could watch cartoons.

He pulled the towel up to cover the bottom of his mouth and stuck his thumb inside. It was salty from the water but he soon got lost in the puppy adventures on the tablet.

  Jace

Jace had woken Avery up early so he’d have plenty of time before the big surprise. Avery had been bathed, dressed, and was now lying on the big bed watching cartoons and playing.

Instead of taking Avery down to the restaurant in the hotel Jace ordered room service. Eating in the room would give Avery more time out of the public eye. There would be enough crowds that they’d have to deal with for the day.

Jace wanted Avery to enjoy the vacation but he wished there were more private areas where his boy could be out in public while little.

He’d seen a brochure in the hotel lobby the day before about a private resort that sounded amazing. It was from the same company that ran their hotel but the language in the brochure led Jace to believe that there would be more open-minded people at the resort.

Jace would do research once he got home and maybe ask Caleb for his advice. It would be an expensive but amazing trip for his boy.

Avery popped his binkie out of his mouth when a knock sounded on the door.

“It’s our breakfast,” Jace told him. “Stay here and I’ll call you in when it’s ready.”

“K.” He popped his binkie back in his mouth and went back to playing.

Shaking his head Jace walked out of the bedroom into the main part of the suite. He opened the door and allowed the cart to be brought in.

This hotel had been recommended by Caleb. Caleb had done a modeling job on the beach years before and had stayed there. It was nicer than any place Jace had stayed before.

Jace had initially paid for a single room with a king sized bed. He’d been shocked at check in to learn that Caleb had called and upgraded their room into a suite and paid the difference. Jace hadn’t told Avery yet but they needed to get Caleb a great big thank you gift.

Caleb was such a kind-hearted man that Jace was glad that Avery and Caleb had clicked and become friends. Avery needed people in his life that would support and love him. Caleb didn’t need to buy them things though. He just did it to make Avery’s first vacation better.

Jace would find something to show Caleb how much they appreciated his gift.

He signed he receipt adding a big tip and saw the attendant out. Now they could have a nice calm breakfast. He removed the lid over the dishes and smiled. But he had a better plate for his boy.

Jace went into the kitchen and to the cabinet where he’d placed some of Avery’s special dishes. He grabbed the giraffe divided plate and sippy cup. He quickly moved Avery’s food over to the plate and cut it up before he poured the fresh squeezed orange juice into a sippy cup.

  “Avery! Come eat boy!”

  “Coming Daddy!”

  “No running!”

Avery laughed as he walked into the main room. “You always know.”

“I know my boy,” Jace agreed. He pulled a chair out for Avery. “Come eat. We need to be leaving soon.”

“I might be able to eat faster if you told me where we were going,” Avery said as he hopped over.

“I don’t want you to eat fast,” Jace corrected him. “I want you to eat normally so you don’t get an upset tummy.”

“Oh.” Avery stuck out his bottom lip.

“You can’t get sneaky with me boy.”

Avery shrugged as he plopped down. “It was worth a shot.”

“It was. All I will say about our plans today is it is something that I think you will like.”

“That doesn’t tell me anything,” Avery complained.

  Jace laughed.

“Daddy! You brought my plate!” He was just now noticing the plate.

  “Of course I did.”

“And waffles! With strawberries and whip cream.”

  “It is your favorite.”

  “Thank you Daddy.”

As they ate Avery guessed where they were headed for the day. Jace loved some of the outlandish ideas. Although he was a little nervous that Avery would guess by accident.

When they were both done Avery was bouncing in his seat.

  “Is it time?”

“Yes boy. Let’s go to the bathroom and grab our bags.”

“K.” Avery raced out of the room.

Jace didn’t even bother to yell at him not to run. His boy was too excited. Jace picked up Avery’s special dishes and washed them in the sink before he placed them back in the cabinet. He put the hotel dishes back on the tray before leaving it outside the door.

Once the area was picked up he strolled into the bathroom.

Avery was just flushing the toilet. “I just have to wash my hands Daddy.”

“And your face. You have strawberry sauce on your chin.”

Avery turned the water on laughing. “It was really good.”

“I can tell by fast you ate them.” Plus Avery was excited for their trip. He’d been going in and out of being little and big all morning. Jace figured it would get worse once they reached their destination.

He bet by the end of the day Avery would be more little than he’d ever been in public. It was something that Jace was prepared for. He honestly didn’t care what other people thought but he wouldn’t allow anyone to make his boy feel ashamed.

Jace picked up a washcloth to wipe Avery’s face as his boy was merely playing in the water.

“Okay, that’s enough. You’ll get water everywhere.”

He was still wriggling around as Jace led him to the door. They made it all the way to their rental car before Avery began to worry.

“Daddy, I don’t have any of my
stuff.”

“I know boy. You won’t need it though. I have my backpack and it has everything you will need.”

  “But-“ Avery whispered.

“Albert, Jared, and Buster Brown would have had to stay in the hot car. They’ll be much more comfortable in the big bed.

Avery nodded. “But I usually at least have my lily hidden in my backpack.”

“I know boy. I need you to trust me. It’ll be okay.”

Avery took a deep breath. “Okay.”

Jace opened the car door and got Avery settled. He got the seatbelt over him before leaning down to place a kiss on his temple. “Don’t let this ruin your day. You’ll have fun.”

“I know Daddy. I trust you.”

Such a sweet boy. Jace closed him into the car before hurrying to the driver side. He slid behind the wheel. Avery was trying to remain calm. He was taking deep breathes and holding his knees.

He’d relax once they got on the road.

  Or not.

An hour into the drive they were both frustrated. Jace had heard about the California traffic and had given them plenty of time for the freeway. Actually driving through this ridiculous traffic was a different story.

It was Avery who reached over and laid his palm on Jace’s knee in an attempt to calm Jace.

“Sorry boy,” Jace said. “I didn’t expect this.” Of course they were hitting weekday traffic when everyone else in the city was trying to get to work.

“It’s okay Daddy. Do we have to be at this place at a certain time?”

“No. I just wanted you to have a full day there.” Well that day and the next. He had two day passes.

“It’s still early. I’m sure it will be fine.”

Jace huffed. Avery was right. He was getting upset for no reason. Plus Avery would love every minute once they arrived. Jace covered Avery’s hand with his own. “Thank you boy. You are right.”

Avery turned his hand and threaded his fingers through Jace’s. “I’m just glad I’m not driving. These people are crazy.”

Jace laughed. Yeah, he could agree with that statement.

There was a break in traffic and he was able to finally make some headway. Still it took a good twenty more minutes before they pulled off the freeway. Soon Avery would know exactly where they were going. Luckily Avery had been focused on the traffic and not the signs along the freeway.

“Do me a favor and close your eyes,” Jace requested.

Avery frowned. “But I want to see where-“

“I promise that you’ll know soon. I’ve been working on this surprise for a long time.”

Avery huffed but he did close his eyes.

Jace grinned as the turned down the road that would lead them to the front gates of the San Diego Zoo. Avery was going to lose his mind.

Jace had worked for over a year to set up the nursery. When Avery had spotted Jared, his stuff giraffe sitting on the bed the first night, Jace knew they had a connection. Avery loved watching the zoo and aquarium shows on tv. They’d recorded very episode and Avery had watched them multiple times.

When Jace began to research zoos to take his boy to, the reviews and articles, kept returning him to San Diego. Jace had a grand plan to someday take Jace to every zoo in the country. A pipe dream probably. He’d never be able to afford it but he would try.

“Can I open my eyes yet?” Avery asked. He was wiggling in his seat and Jace knew it had to be hard for his boy to not peek.

  “Almost,” Jace told him.

  “But Daddy-“

Jace chuckled. “I know.” Avery was so damn cute but Jace had a plan.

Following the road and the many signs that teased all they were going to see the front gates finally came into view. Jace pulled over to the side so if anyone else pulled up they wouldn’t be in the way of any other vehicles.

“Are we there?” Avery’s voice was high with excitement.

“Just about,” Jace said. He pulled out his phone and found the video. He wanted to remember this moment. “Take a deep breath.” Jace pressed play. “Count to five then open your eyes.”

Avery sucked in a long breath before he blew it out. He’d stopped wiggling as well. “One, two, three, four…” Avery took another deep breath. “Five.”

He opened his eyes and blinked. Then blinked again.

  “Jace,” Avery whispered.

  “Yes boy?”

  “Jace.”

Growing concerned Jace began to lower his phone.

“It’s the zoo,” Avery said quietly.

  “It is.”

“We’re at the freaking zoo!” Avery shouted. He tried to jump across the console but his seatbelt held him in place. “Daddy! Daddy!” Avery fought to unbuckle his seatbelt.

That was the excitement he wanted to see. He stopped his phone and reached out to calm his boy.

“That seatbelt needs to stay on until we park.”

“We have to see the giraffes,” Avery exclaimed. “And the monkeys, and lions, and penguins, and… and…”

“We’re going to see them all,” Jace promised. “We have two whole days to spend here.”

Avery finally managed to tear his gaze from the gates up ahead. “Two days?”

  Jace nodded.

Avery looked back to the gates. He was smiling wide but he also sniffled. Shit! Jace undid his seatbelt and reached over for his boy’s hand. “What is it?”

“You brought me all the way to California for this, didn’t you?”

  “I did.”

“I love you so much! Thank you.” Avery seemed much calmer than Jace expected.

  “Are you okay?”

  Avery nodded.

Unsure what to do Jace gave Avery’s hand one last squeeze before he reattached his seatbelt. He put the rental car in gear and started to drive forward.

As the passed under the big arch Avery’s eyes were huge as he looked around.

Having their vacation in the middle of a workweek, in May, when school was still in session, helped to get them a close parking spot. Jace parked and exited the vehicle. He rushed around the car and opened Avery’s door.

As soon as he had Avery’s belt undone Avery launched himself forward. Jace rocked back almost falling as Avery practically tackled him.

Chuckling Jace patted Avery’s back. “It’s okay.” His boy was overwhelmed. Jace saw that now. But as soon as he recovered Avery would be having a blast.

  “Are you ready?”

  “Yes please,” Avery said straightening.

Jace closed the passenger door before he took Avery’s hand.

“Where are we going to go first? Can we see the giraffes first? No last, we should see them last.”

Jace let Avery ramble on as he led them to the gates. He pulled out his phone with his free hand to pull up their online tickets. Once they reached the gates there was only a small line ahead of them.

Avery remained quiet as he waited until they were granted access. Finally through the gates Avery stood looking around. Wide eyed and in shock.

“Look over here,” Jace directed. “We can get a map of the entire zoo so we can make a plan for the day.”

“I don’t know what I want to see first,” Avery whispered.

“It’s a good thing Daddy is here then.” He grasped Avery’s hand before pulling him along. Jace picked up one of the maps available before tugging Avery to a bench. He opened the map and smiled. It was the same as the online. He’d wanted his boy’s opinion but if it was too much for Avery to decide Jace knew just what to do.

“We’re here. We can follow this path and see all the enclosures on this side. Then we’ll have lunch at the Croc Café before making our way back around. We’ll finish the day with a ride through the safari park. That should set us nicely for our extra special day tomorrow.”

  “What’s so special about tomorrow?”

Jace debated not telling his boy. But maybe his boy had had enough surprised for one trip. “Tomorrow we have special passes that allo
w us to go back with the handlers. You’ll get to make up some food and help feed the animals.”

“Oh my God!” Avery squealed. “I’ve seen that on my shows.”

Jace knew that. That was where he got the idea of looking for special passes. It would be worth every penny he had to fork over. “We have all day tomorrow to do all that. So today we’ll have fun walking around. There are even a few we can feed today.”

“This is unbelievable,” Avery said. He hopped up and danced around. “Come on Daddy! Daddy! Hurry! We need to go.”

That was his boy. This is what he wanted to see.

Jace stood and stuffed the map in his back pocket. He held out his hand and Avery immediately grabbed it.

  “Let’s go see some animals.”

  Avery

This was the best day ever. They’d spent the entire day at the zoo. And now Avery had a brand new monkey backpack that was super cool. The monkey arms even went around his neck. Avery couldn’t wait to wear it to the club and show all his friends. They would love it to.

Avery drug his feet as his Daddy led his out of the gates of the zoo. They weren’t going far though. Back to the hotel for the night before returning for Avery’s special day.

He couldn’t believe how awesome this vacation had turned out.

Avery would’ve been happy enough staying at the beach. But the two day passes at the zoo meant so much.

Further proof that Jace knew and accepted him.

“Let’s get you settled in the car,” Jace said as he opened the door.

Avery climbed in his seat unable to hold in his yawn.

“I know how tired you are boy,” Jace said. He brushed the hair from Avery’s forehead before giving him a kiss. “We’ll be back to the hotel soon.”

  “Thank you for today Daddy.”

“Of course,” Jace reached for the glove box and open it. He pulled out a spare binkie that Avery hadn’t even known Jace had hidden in the rental car.

Avery moaned with gratitude as the nipple of the binkie was pushed against his lips.

The ride back to the hotel was much calmer than the ride there. Jace shared his favorite parts of the day. Avery was pretty certain that Jace was just trying to keep him awake.

Once they pulled into the valet parking of the hotel Avery was barely able to keep his eyes open.
