Avery's Adventure: A Daddy's Boy Short Story Page 6

by Athena Steller

“I was at work,” Mitch snapped. Damn it, he always let Byron push his buttons. The young Daddy Dom had made his interest clear a bunch of times. While Mitch wanted him in return, the truth was that Mitch’s life was way too complicated for such a decent man as Byron to get involved with him. “I’m sorry.” He dropped his head.

Byron stepped out of the house making Mitch back up to avoid touching him. Byron closed the door as Mitch continued to stare at his shiny shoes. He hated his shoes. Stupid shoes hurt his toes.

  “Look at me boy.”

  Mitch lifted his eyes.

“What’s really wrong?” Byron asked softly.

Mitch shrugged. He didn’t want to admit how nervous he was. He knew Avery liked him but Caleb was an unknown. He only knew Caleb from the club but they hadn’t been friends before. After everyone figured out that Caleb wasn’t the brat he’d acted and Grant had started dating him Caleb had sort of just fit in with their group.

Now Mitch was the odd man out since Jace had Avery and Grant had found Caleb. Without a Daddy of his own Mitch was worried about acting too familiar with his friends. They’d never had a sexual relationship but they were close. Both Jace and Grant had acted as pseudo Daddies for him over the year.

Mitch couldn’t keep counting on his friends when they now had boys of their own. Their boys needed to take priority which had Mitch feeling left out.

“That’s not an answer,” Byron said. “I can’t help you if you won’t even talk to me.”

Mitch glanced back down. He didn’t want to see the pity in Byron’s eyes. “Are they having fun without me? Maybe I should just go home?”

Byron clucked his tongue. “They have been having fun but both Avery and Caleb are waiting for you. Grant and Caleb brought a bubble machine but Caleb doesn’t want to open it without you.”

“Really?” Mitch peered up from under his lashes. He didn’t think that Byron would lie to him.

“From what I’ve picked up neither Avery or Caleb have many friends.”

  Mitch nodded. He knew that.

“And you have experiences as a boy that they are lacking,” Byron added. “They both sort of look up to you.”

Because Mitch was older than both the other boys. Hell, he was older than Byron who wanted to be his Daddy.

“You have a lot to offer both those boys. Jace and Grant are also two of your best friends,” Byron continued. “You don’t need to worry about being here. They want you here. I want you here.”

Okay. That was nice to hear. Especially the last part. Mitch didn’t want to want Byron but was helpless to really push him away.

“Now did you bring some play clothes?”

Biting his lip Mitch slid the leather backpack off his shoulder and let his dangle from his hand. He didn’t have much but what he did have was all his. Mitch had never had a Daddy, not even casually, so he’d never had anyone to buy his clothes or toys.

Byron reached for his backpack before he paused. “Would it be okay if I helped you get dressed and slide into your boy persona?”

Mitch wanted that more than anything in the world.

Even knowing it would be better for Byron to stay far away from him Mitch found himself nodding.

“Thank you boy.” Byron took the backpack from him. “Ready to go inside?”

Mitch took a long deep breath. He nodded after exhaling.

“Good boy.” Byron held out his hand and Mitch slid his palm against Byron’s. He let Byron open the door and lead him into the house. He looked around but didn’t see anyone else.

“Grant and Caleb are in the backyard and Jace just took Avery to the nursery.”

Great, Mitch had a few more minutes to gather his courage.

Byron took him to the bathroom and shut the door behind them. He sat Mitch’s backpack on the counter and Mitch looked around. He’d been in the bathroom a million times but this way he avoided watching Byron go through his bag.

  “Turn around please.”

  Mitch jumped and squeaked.

“Hey, it’s okay.” Byron grasped his shoulders and turned him around. “If you are uncomfortable, I can let you get ready by yourself.”

“No!” Mitch slapped his hand over his mouth. He hadn’t meant to yell. But he wanted Byron to help him. It was getting harder and harder to mentally make the transition between being the grown up he was and the little boy he wanted to be.

“Okay, then I want you to take deep breaths for me.”

  Mitch nodded.

“Do you have anything that might help you relax?”

  Huh? “Like what?”

“A pacifier, blanket, favorite toy to hold?” Byron asked.

“No.” He didn’t have a lot of things and what he did have was hidden at his condo. Mitch wasn’t a little like Avery but there was so much about the little persona that he found fascinating. There were a few things he wished he had. Avery’s many binkies were cool, but Mitch had never bought himself one. Other things, like using diapers Mitch just couldn’t see himself using.

“That’s okay,” Byron soothed. He knelt in front of Mitch and tapped his foot.

Mitch lifted his right foot. His work shoes and socks were slipped off then his foot was set back down before Byron rose. Mitch curled his toes into the mat he stood on. Byron reached for Mitch’s jacket and helped him out of it before loosening Mitch’s tie. Little by little he was undressed until he stood in just his slacks.

“Keep breathing,” Byron said when his hand went to Mitch’s belt.

Mitch couldn’t help but to tense up. He hadn’t been with anyone in a couple of years and never someone who could truly be his Daddy. He normally stuck with Doms that wanted to take him hard and fast before hightailing it out the door.

  “Good boy,” Byron murmured.

His belt was undone and Mitch closed his eyes. He’d been dreaming about this exact moment. Byron, as his Daddy, getting him dressed for a fun day.

As his pants were unbuttoned and the zipper lowered it was like he could feel the layers of adulthood being peeled away. When the cool air hit his bare skin as Byron tugged his slacks down his thighs he shivered.

“You are doing so good,” Byron whispered. “I’m very proud of you.” Then Mitch was standing in just his black boxer briefs.

“You have other underwear in your bag,” Byron said quietly. “Do you want them on?”

“Big boy undies,” Mitch whispered. He’d custom ordered those. They would feel so much better than the tight briefs he currently wore.

“That’s right. Super cute big boy undies. Can I put them on you?”

Mitch face warmed but he nodded. He wanted to be a boy in every single article of clothing.

  “So brave.”

“Th…thank you.” God, he wanted to add Daddy to that.

His adult underwear was slid down his legs but Mitch was keeping his eyes closed. He already knew his cock was reacting to Byron’s close proximity he didn’t need to see the evidence.

Mitch’s right foot was tapped and he lifted it before doing the same to the left. Byron brought the padded training pants up and settled them over Mitch’s erection. The tension began to leave him as his lower body was hugged tightly by the pullup. It had been so long since he’d been fully in boy mode.

  “Good job.”

Mitch finally felt brave enough to open his eyes. He blinked them open to see Byron still kneeling while gazing at him with a soft look.

“There’s the boy that I’ve been wanting to see,” Byron said.

Since he didn’t know what to say, Mitch went with letting the boy out of him fully. Mitch grinned. “Transformers!”

“Yep, Transformer shirt and cute shorts. You are going to be the most adorable boy.”

Giggling, Mitch nodded. He wanted to be adorable.

“Shorts first.” Byron held up the red shorts and helped him into them.

By the time he was standing and pulling the transformer shirt over his head Mitch was wiggling. He could
n’t help it!

  “There you go.”

Taking a chance, Mitch popped up to his toes and gave Byron a kiss on the cheek. “Thank you.” God, Mitch wanted to call him Daddy so bad.

“You are very welcome boy. Now socks and shoes so you can go play.”

  “K.”

Byron turned back to Mitch’s backpack and pulled out the white socks and Mitch’s tennis shoes. He’d seen light up transformer shoes once and had really wanted to buy them, but he’d been at the mall. It would be just his luck for one of his clients or a partner in his law firm to see him buying them.

“That’s a shame. I wish I’d been there. I could have bought them for you.”

“Oh!” Mitch giggled. He hadn’t realized he’d spoken out loud. Wow, he really had slid into his boy persona quickly this time. He had to attribute it to Byron’s influence.

“Sit on the side of the tub for me.”

“K.” Mitch dropped down and Byron finished up.

“Okay wiggly boy. Let’s go play.”

  “Yeah!” Mitch clapped his hands.

Byron had repacked Mitch’s backpack and carried it as they exited the bathroom. Mitch knew where he was going since Jace had been his best friend since college and he had been there a million times but he still let Byron lead him to the backyard. It was nice just following along.

The moment Avery and Caleb spotted him they both called out a greeting. He felt silly for being so nervous before.
