“Thank you, Daddy.” Isabella beamed up at him and felt tears sting the backs of her eyes when he quickly blinked his eyes to fight back his own.
“You look so much like your mother did on our wedding day. She looked just as beautiful as you do,” Barton told her.
“Daddy, I’m so happy to be marrying Montgomery. I can’t begin to tell you how happy it makes me to know I’ll be spending the rest of my life with him, and watching our children grow up here in this little town.” She hugged her father. “I want to be as happy as you and mom are.”
Barton smiled at her. “You will be. We think the world of Mont already.” He chuckled. “How could I not? The man saved my life, and now he’s marrying my daughter. It was fate, honey, and I can see how much he loves you when he looks at you.”
Isabella blinked her tears away. “I can’t wait to see what the future brings.”
“Lots of happiness, and hopefully more babies your mom and I can spoil.” Barton laughed.
Isabella smiled with true joy, and gave him one more hug. “Let’s go. I’m so ready.”
Barton put his arms out for Isabella and Patsy. The women looped their arms through his and after telling Kathy goodbye, they headed out on their trip to the church.

Mont paced in the vestibule. Micah stood leaning against the wall with his arms folded, watching him.
“Seriously, I didn’t think you’d be nervous.”
Mont stopped and turned toward him. “I didn’t think I would be either. Damn. What if she doesn’t show up?”
Micah laughed. “Of course she’ll show up. She just got you back after she thought you were dead. She’ll be here.”
“I hope so,” Mont told him.
“Mont, seriously, you need to stop worrying. Isabella loves you. She will be here.”
Mont nodded glancing toward the door and hoping Micah was right. “Yes. She will,” he said with a nervous grin.
The reverend entered and smiled at them. “Your bride just arrived. Let’s get you married, son.”
Mont laughed, and felt his heart skip a beat. “Yes, sir.”
“Two bad boys down, four to go.” The Reverend laughed.
“I’d say we weren’t bad boys, but everyone knows we were. I think two of them are a lost cause though, Reverend,” Mont said thinking of Dakota and Storm.
“Nonsense. There is a soulmate out there for everyone. Just because Dakota’s a flirt doesn’t mean the right woman won’t catch him.” The reverend smiled, and then a frown furrowed his brow. “Storm is another matter.”
Mont took a deep breath. “I agree.” Then he remembered who was waiting for him. “Let’s do this.”
He and Micah followed the reverend through the vestibule to the door leading to the altar. Mont blew out a breath, and stepped into the church where their guests were waiting and watching. Micah followed behind and took his place alongside him at the altar. Suddenly, nerves go the better of Mont and his thoughts began to race with everything that could go wrong. He glanced at Micah.
“You have the ring, right?”
Micah chuckled. “Yes. You’ve asked me like a thousand times. I have it right here.” He tapped the pocket of his suit, and then a worried expression crossed his face. “I thought I had it…”
“What?” Mont almost yelled, but quickly lowered his voice.
“Relax, buddy, I’m joking.”
“You’re such a dead man,” Mont grumbled, making Micah chuckle.
The music started and both men turned to look toward the back door. Mont watched as Patsy slowly walked down the aisle, and chuckled when he heard Micah mutter. “Damn pixie.”
A moment later, Micah joined him as they both hissed in a breath when Isabella appeared on her father’s arm. She looked so beautiful Mont almost fell to his knees. Her father wore a pleased and very proud smile on his face as he walked her slowly toward Mont. He was glad his in-laws accepted him, considering all that had happened.
Mont stepped forward to take Isabella’s hand and she smiled up at him. His heart slammed into his ribs. He loved her so much and life was so good.
“You look beautiful, princess Bella,” Mont whispered, his nerves suddenly vanishing seeing the love in her eyes.
“And you look very handsome in your tux,” Isabella whispered breathlessly, her smile brightening with his compliment and her cheeks flushing with a sweet blush.
He winked at her. “Are you ready to do this, darlin’?”
“More than ready,” Isabella whispered.
Together they stepped toward the reverend and Mont gave him a nod. The ceremony began, and as he said his vows, Mont squeezed her hands and smiled when she squeezed back. Isabella repeated her vows in a soft but steady voice. He couldn’t resist giving her a quick kiss. The reverend cleared his throat, and Isabella chuckled when Mont shrugged at him. As soon as the reverend pronounced them man and wife, Mont gathered her into his arms and kissed her again, this time with more fervor.
“We can get started on adding to our family now,” he said against her lips.
Isabella smiled up at him. “We may have already. If you remember, once again, we didn’t use a condom the day you came back to me or any time since.”
Mont jerked back, staring at her, and when she nodded her head and grinned, he burst out laughing. Everyone in attendance smiled and clapped. He was sure no one heard their conversation, but everyone was very happy for them. He hugged his wife tight, thinking how wonderful his life was and when she looked up at him, his breath caught in his throat as he gazed down into her beautiful face.
“I hope we did, princess. I definitely want more babies with you. I want at least fifty years with you and I promise I’ll never leave you again. Not in this life or beyond, Bella.”
Isabella blinked back tears from her eyes. “I want all of that too, Montgomery.” Then she crinkled her brow as if contemplating his words. “Fifty years or more with you? Yes, I can do that.”
She threw her arms around his neck, laughing as he spun her around, and when Mont picked her up to carry her back up the aisle, everyone cheered. Once he reached the front door of the church, he set Isabella on her feet, cupped her face in his hands, and kissed her. When she leaned into him, the kiss deepened and Mont thought about fifty years with this woman. Yes, he could do that, and more.
