“I missed you too Silas. I’m really sorry I jumped to conclusions, but when you didn’t call me I pictured the worst. I figured that you just didn’t want to tell me that you and Jackie were back together.” Sally told him.

“Sally I should’ve called you sooner, I know that and I’m sorry I didn’t. I was just so worried about both of my parents. If you could see my father and how he’s taking this you would understand.”

“Even my parents would react the same way so I understand. Thankfully both of them are very healthy. I hope that when they go on that fateful day that they go together. Thankfully your mother is not gone, and I truly pray that she will wake up soon.” Sally said and kissed Silas’s cheek.

He moved his mouth back over hers and once again kissed her deeply. He moved his hands over her body and played with her breasts through the material of her dress. She moaned and he took off her shirt, and removed her bra. Her passion was burning and she wanted him now. “Silas make love to me.”

She didn’t have to ask him again. He undressed quickly and removed her pants and boxers. He pushed into her with gentle small strokes, but it wasn’t enough for her. She pushed her body to his and made his cock enter her deeper.

He rolled over taking her with him and she was now sitting on top of his huge pole. She loved the feeling of his dick all the way inside of her and she began to move up and down slowly on him.

Silas moaned and pulled her down to him, kissing her once more. Pushing his tongue into her mouth, they rose to the apex of passion together.

She couldn’t get enough of him and moved up and down a bit quicker as she moved closer to her own orgasm.

Silas grabbed her hips and forced him down on her harder and quicker. She screamed out as her climax shot over her body, filling her with love and much more.

He moaned out as her pussy clamped around his cock and released his own climax, calling out her name as he came inside of her.

They were both breathing hard after their shared climax. But Silas was still hard so he rolled her back over and entered her from behind.

Sally was on her hands and knees and Silas held her waist as he pushed into her. She moved back to meet his forward movement causing his cock to push to the end of her vagina.

She cried out as she felt another orgasm flash through her body. Silas kept thrusting into her and made the orgasm last longer.

He finally cried out and once more let his seed fill up her body. They fell together on the floor. He pulled her in close to him.

“Sally please take back your resignation.” Silas said.

“Okay, I’ll call the other company and tell them I’ve changed my mind.” Sally gave in. She couldn’t imagine not working with him, though work wouldn’t be on her mind when she was around him anymore. Now she knew that every time she saw him she would want him to love her like he just had.

“Thank you Sally. I really couldn’t go on without you there. The project wouldn’t even hold my attention if you weren’t around. You’ve found a deep place in my heart and I’m all yours from this day forward,” Silas told her as he kissed the top of her head.

Before falling asleep he made love to her again. Once more she was left in heaven after he was done. This had to be right. Something that felt this good couldn’t be wrong.

  Chapter 21

The next morning Sally got up and made them breakfast. While she was preparing the food Silas came up behind her in the kitchen and kissed her, holding her firmly in his arms.

  “Smells wonderful.” He said.

“It is nothing much; just a country omelet.” Sally said.

When they sat down to eat Silas asked her, “Do you mind coming back to Hampton with me. I would really like to be there when my mother wakes up, if she does ever wake up.”

“Think positive Silas, she’ll wake up soon.” Sally said, “I’ll go back with you, but what about work?”

“I think the boss will be okay with you missing some time.” He laughed.

“You think?” Sally joined in his laughter.

Sally enjoyed seeing Silas laughing again. Sally only hoped that soon there would be much more to celebrate.

“What should I pack for and for how long?” Sally called out from the bedroom.

Silas was washing the dishes from breakfast for her so she could get ready. “I don’t know. Pack what you think you’ll need for at least three days, maybe five. There is a washer at my parents’ that you can use. So if we end up staying longer you’ll be fine. Or we could always buy you some more clothes too.”

“I’m sure the last thing you will want to do is go shopping. I’ll pack for a couple weeks so I will have plenty of outfits to choose from.” Sally said.

A little later they were in his car as he was maneuvering out of the city and towards his parents’ house.

Sally felt nervous about meeting Silas’ parents. Of course, she would meet them separately since his mother was still in a coma, but that didn’t make it any easier.

She also wondered if they would comment on the age difference between her and Silas. Sally knew that many people would see her as a young girl who had seduced an older man and probably wouldn’t believe that there was true love between the two of them.

“What’s wrong?” Silas asked as if he could feel her nervousness.

“What do you think your parents will say about our age difference?” Sally asked.

“They won’t care, and you shouldn’t either. They’ve always told me as long as I’m happy they will be fine with the decisions I make.” Silas commented.

“You know there are people who aren’t going to be like that though.”

“I don’t care what other people think Sally. I love you and I want to be with you, and that’s all that really matters.” Silas said.

“I don’t care either, but I don’t want to hear the nasty comments that might be said about me.”

“What kind of comments do you think will be said?” He asked.

“You know they’ll call me a bimbo and gold digger.”

He laughed, “Well if they say anything wrong about you they’ll have to deal with me.”

“I contacted my lawyer he’s drawing up the divorce papers and will soon deliver them to Jackie’s lawyer. She is still threatening to expose my little secret. But like you said, I can deal with that. We can make it seem like she’s just making up things because she’s just angry she got caught cheating.” Silas explained.

“Sounds like a perfect plan. I’ll be there with you Silas even if it does get ugly.” Sally said.

“I hope so, this might be something that will cause us some bad press.”

“I had some ideas of how to combat that.” Sally commented.

  “What are they?” Silas asked.

She spent the next few hours telling him scenarios and the reactions they could use. He listened intently, and whistled when she was done, “Wow you put a lot of thought into this didn’t you.”

  “Yes I did.” She said.

  “Were almost there.” Silas commented.

Sally had been enjoying the scenery along the drive as she had talked to Silas. “It’s really beautiful out here. So peaceful and quiet.” Sally commented.

“I know it’s very odd when you compare it to New York City.”

“I can see why you come out here as often as you can. Instead of moving back in creating an office in Sugar Hill, you should move your corporate office to this town. That way you would live near parents and be able to see them even more.” Sally said.

“That is a good idea, but have this special lady in my life now that really loves the city. I don’t want to be without her so I would never move and be this far away from her.”

“Maybe that special lady would be willing to move with you, if you asked her nicely.”

“But you said you loved New York City and you’ve only been there for a little bit. I would feel bad asking you to leave.”

“Silas I love you more than I coul
d ever love the city. Also I kind of do miss the slow pace of a small town. If you really want to do this, then I’m on board.” Sally stated.

“Sally you are truly one amazing woman and I wish I could have met you sooner.” Silas complemented her.

“But I don’t know how that would have worked, remember I’m only 24, and I probably wouldn’t have been legal,” Sally said, laughing.

“Look at who’s worried about the age difference!” He said jokingly.

“So tell me what do they call a male cougar?” Sally chuckled.

“Oh no! You didn’t just call me a cougar! I’ll have you know that I would be called a manther.”

Sally busted out laughing, “Are you kidding me? A manther? What the hell is that?”

“The male equivalent of a cougar! Duh! I guess they couldn’t call it panther, because it doesn’t sound as good!”

“So my sexy manther, which house belongs to your parents?” Sally laughed.

“Hmm, I shouldn’t have told you that word! It’s two houses down on the left.” He pointed as he drove to their destination.

He got her bag out of the car and opened her door for her. “Welcome to Chateau McComb!”

“Wow! It’s so beautiful.” Sally commented.

“My dad used to work in construction and had his crew build this house before he retired. My mother and he designed it together. Wait until you see the inside. They really did some amazing things with this house!” Silas said proudly.

He gave her a quick tour, cutting it short so they could go to the hospital.

  Chapter 22

Silas held her hand firmly in his as they walked into the hospital. Several of the nurses stopped and told him, “It’s nice to see you again Mr. McComb.”

Sally saw a few looks of jealousy but mostly just people who were being friendly. As they got closer to the room where his father was, she felt her nerves grow tenser.

Silas squeezed her hand and whispered, “It’ll be fine, don’t be so nervous.”

As they walked in the room Sally noticed a man who was the spitting image of Silas, with a little bit more gray in his hair and some wrinkles. If this is what Silas would look like at that age, she knew she would still love him just as much as she did now. His father didn’t look old at all. She put the thoughts of their age differences behind her. Perhaps it was the thought that she would eventually be left alone when he died, because surely he would pass before she would. But she wouldn’t let this love go because of that fear.

His father stood up when they walked in the room and came over and gave Silas a hug. He then wrapped his arms around Sally in a warm embrace. “I’m glad you came with Silas. I haven’t seen him in such turmoil for a long time. But now I can see he’s happy once more.” His father said to her.

“It’s really nice to meet you. Has there been any change in your wife yet?” Sally asked.

“Not yet, but hopefully soon she will come out of the coma. The latest word is that they think her body did this on purpose so it could focus on healing the damage that was done when she hit her head.” He explained.

Silas moved over to the bed and give his mother a kiss on her forehead. “Mom if you can hear me, I want you to know I’m back, and I brought that girl I was telling you about the other day.”

Sally felt a thrill go through her body thinking that Silas had talked about her. She wondered what he had said to her but she didn’t ask him as she knew it wasn’t the right time to do that.

“Hey dad, when was the last time you ate?” Silas asked.

“I honestly don’t know. But I’m not really hungry.” He answered.

“Try to eat something and we’ll stay with mom. I’ll call you if she wakes up before you get back.” Silas stated.

His father grudgingly left to go eat. Silas pulled a chair up beside his for Sally to sit.

“Sally tell mom about yourself. I try to talk to her whenever I’m here. They say that she can hear us and that maybe it will help her recover quicker knowing someone is here waiting for her to wake up.” Silas explained.

“Hello Mrs. McComb, my name is Sally Yates, I work for Silas in his office. I come from Nebraska and it’s a lot different than New York City. I would say our small town is a lot like the one you live in now; very peaceful and quiet. The kind of place where you can trust everyone and can leave your doors unlocked at night with no fear. My whole life I have longed to leave Nebraska and come to the big city. But now visiting this quaint little town I realize how much I miss the peacefulness of it all. I don’t know how many times you’ve been to New York City, but I’m sure if you have been you’ve noticed the difference too. I’m trying to talk Silas into moving his office back to this town, and maybe soon we’ll be neighbors.”

Silas squeezed her hand and looked at her. Sally could see the love shining in his eyes and had no doubt about his feelings towards her.

Silas started talking to his mom about his childhood, recalling fond memories of when he was a child. Sally listened and learned more about the man she was head over heels in love with.

“I think I just felt her squeeze my hand.” Silas commented.

“Great maybe she’s coming out of the coma. Do you want me to get the nurses?” Sally asked.

  “Yes please.”

Sally went to find a nurse and brought her back into the room.

“I felt her squeeze my hand several times now. A couple more since you left to find the nurse.” Silas announced as they walked into the room.

The nurse checked her vitals and commented, “Keep talking to her, I think she may be coming out of the coma soon.”

Silas recalled a Little League game he had played in as a youngster. “Remember how loudly you were cheering me on, even when I would strike out?” He laughed.

His mother’s eyes opened and she got a smile on her face, “Of course I remember that! The other parents looked at me like I was crazy, but I didn’t care.”

Her voice was low and Sally filled up her glass with water and helped her get a few sips of it.

“Who is this lovely young lady?” His mother asked.

“This is Sally Yates and she’s going to be my wife one day.” Silas said introducing her.

Sally could see the confusion that passed over his mother’s face, “Nice to meet you Mrs. McComb.”

“Call me Martha; Mrs. McComb makes me sound far too old. Though I do feel really old right now.”

“I gotta call dad and let him know you are awake. I made him go eat something,” Silas said as he stood and took his phone out of his pocket.

“Good thing you made him eat, that fool would let himself starve just to make sure I was okay.” Martha laughed.

Sally could hear the love in Martha’s voice as she talked about her husband.

“Sally come sit by me and tell me about you and Silas. It seems I’ve missed a few things since I fell and hurt myself.” Martha said.

Silas interrupted quickly and told his mom, “I caught Jackie cheating. But you know I was well on my way to a divorce before that; it just had to be when I was ready. Sally is my new Executive assistant, and she made me realize just how unhappy I was with Jackie. So when I also found out she was cheating on me, my only choice was to divorce her.” Silas explained.

“Okay Sally, now tell me how you and Silas fell in love.” Martha said, wanting to hear from Sally what had happened between them.

Sally sat down by Martha and begun sharing the story, one that Silas himself was surprised to hear about.

“Well when I was 16 I knew that I loved the business world. I had always planned to go to college to study business but I wanted to work for company that was doing the right things. So I started searching for cutting-edge businesses and came across McComb industries. I read up on the company and the men behind it. I’m not ashamed to admit that I had quite the crush on Silas at that time. I watched many of his videos and figured he’d be one of the best to work with. So I tried to do well in college and get go
od grades. I worked with another company in Nebraska for a couple of years before I found a job opening at McComb Industries...”

She continued, “I jumped at the opportunity and sent my resume to Silas. The day I got his letter back about the interview, I was ecstatic. I hoped to impress him at the interview and eventually be hired. But honestly during the interview I thought I had completely messed it up. I was so nervous. He was so much more charismatic in person and I had a hard time thinking straight. I was sitting in front of the man I’d been crushing on for almost 8 years by that time. But somehow he saw through that nervousness and offered me a job. Not on the spot, but a few days later, and accepted it quickly. Once I moved to New York City and worked closely with him, I knew that I had to control my emotions. Since he was married I didn’t pursue him, but that didn’t mean I didn’t still find him very attractive. When I found out he was unhappy I thought maybe my chances of getting to know him better had increased. Then Jackie came into the office and they had this huge fight right in front of me, with both of them were talking about getting a divorce. I was sad for him, but happy at the same time and I felt really guilty about it. But Silas let me know how he felt about me and I knew that we had a chance at something wonderful.” Sally explained.

Martha chuckled, “I like her a lot, and she’s straightforward and pulls no punches!”

“I love her Sally mom, and I asked her to marry me once the divorce is final.” Silas announced.

His father had made it back by this time and heard the news. “That’s great son, we’re really happy for you! It’s been a long time since I’ve seen you smile this much.” His dad said.

“Far too long, in my opinion!” Martha added.

  Chapter 23

“Are you absolutely certain you won’t mind living here?” Silas asked Sally.

She laughed, “For the hundredth time I’m positive I love this little town. And your parents are so sweet. I know they love the idea of you being around more.”
