“Whoa . . . that’s . . . fuck!” he croaks. I continue to circle my tongue around his tip. Chase threads his fingers in my hair and starts to move his hips back and forth. He moves slowly at first but starts to pick up speed.

  “Oh, Jesus, Olivia,” he groans.

He flexes as I suck. He moves deeper into my mouth, until he’s hitting the back of my throat. I can feel him getting harder with each thrust. I flick my tongue on his tip, tasting the bead of dew that has started to form. He’s getting close, I can feel how hard and thick he is. His breathing is ragged as he thrusts. His hands are holding me steady, controlling my rhythm as he continues to thrust and fuck my mouth. I am clutching the back of his thighs to give me better leverage. Just the thought of me giving him pleasure is keeping me going.

“Don’t stop,” he moans. I suck harder. I can hear his breath hissing between his teeth, his jaw clamped tight.

He is gripping the sides of my head, moving me while moving his hips. I can feel him at the back of my throat, each time he hits he groans louder.

“Baby . . . that feels so good,” he moans. He thrusts faster, harder. “I’m going to come.” I can feel his cock pulsing and throbbing. I flick my tongue around the tip and suck hard.

“Fuck,” he cries out and stills, as he comes violently in my mouth. Keeping my rhythm, I swallow the warm salty liquid, making sure not to spill a drop. Chase is breathing hard, trying to catch his breath. He opens his eyes and looks down at me.

“Olivia, you are fucking amazing,” he says in between breaths. Gazing down at me, he catches his breath. “You on your knees has to be one of the sexiest things I have ever seen.” His voice is raspy and tight. There is a look of pure pleasure on his face, his eyes glowing. Knowing that I made him come undone gives me immense pleasure.

Chase gently hooks his hands under my arms, picking me up. He kisses me passionately, his hands at the back of my neck. He grabs my hair and pulls hard, so my head tilts back and to the left. His lips glide down my throat, kissing and nipping along the way.

Without warning, he spins me around. My skin tingles where he is touching me. Unhooking my bra, his hands glide up my back and across my shoulders. His fingers hook into the straps, pulling them down my arms.

He turns me back around so I am facing him. Dropping to his knees, he undoes the button to my jeans and unceremoniously yanks them down. Dispensing with my sneakers and socks, he then pulls off my jeans just as I had done moments ago to him.

I stand in front of him in my panties. He kneels closer and tugs my panties down with his teeth. He skims his hands down my hips and around to my ass. His touch is amazing. My nipples harder from the chills he is sending through me. He looks up and smiles. He has such a gentle touch, barely gliding his fingers across my skin. Just enough to make all of my senses awaken.

He tosses me down on the bed, so my ass grazes the mattress. His head disappears between my legs as his tongue circles my clit. Oh my. My back bows off the bed as he slips a finger inside of me. His tongue continues its glorious torture as he moves his finger in a wide circle looking for that sweet spot. I start to moan, my breath becoming ragged. I can almost feel him smiling.

He sucks and nips as his finger continues its sweet assault. I can feel my legs stiffening as his tongue continues to circle. His finger finds the spot as I cry out in pleasure. My legs go taut and I scream out, my orgasm an all consuming pleasure.

While I’m still coming down from my orgasm, he clutches my hips and flips me over. He walks over to the pile of clothing on the floor beside the bed and grabs a condom from his pants pocket. I can hear him ripping the foil and rolling it on.

I am lying face down on the bed; my arms spread out over my head, my feet planted on the floor. His foot kicks out, spreading me, and eases into me. The feeling is intense. His hips move around in a circle while he thrusts in and out. His fingers grip my hips tightly. He starts to pick up speed; I can hear the breath hissing through his teeth. “Fuck, Olivia,” he groans. I fist handfuls of the comforter as he continues to pick up speed, thrusting harder and harder.

He abruptly pulls out of me and pushes me farther up the bed so my entire body is touching the mattress, rolling me back over so that I’m lying on my back. He spreads my legs apart and slams into me. “Fuck!” I cry out. He starts to pick up speed again, rolling his hips. Leaning down, he nips at my lower lip. I groan; the pleasure is indescribable. I can feel myself start to convulse, and my legs start to twitch. “Not yet,” he teases and pulls out. What? He lies down on his back and motions me to get on top.

I get up to position myself over him and lower myself down. Holy fuck, this feels amazing. “Grab hold of my hands,” he commands. We soon find a rhythm and move with a perfect cadence. “Shit,” he hisses through gritted teeth. I can feel myself getting close. I let go of his hands and place them on his chest. I lean down and nip at his earlobe. He flexes and moves his hips in a circle, bouncing me up in the air. I sit back up and continue moving my hips back and forth. I start to feel the buildup of my impending orgasm again; I can’t hold on any longer. My back arches and I come, calling out his name. He thrusts two more times and comes violently inside me.

Exhausted, I collapse on top of him. While we lay there together trying to catch our breath, I skim my fingers across his chest. He groans a happy, content sound. I roll off to the side, limp from exertion.

  “You were right,” Chase murmurs.

“Right about what?” I ask snuggling against his chest

  “The bed. Tested and approved.”

I awaken suddenly, my body lurching forward so I’m sitting straight up. It’s dark, and I’m disoriented. Oh, I’m in my new apartment. The last thing I remember is being sprawled across the bed, but here I am under the blankets. Chase is sleeping beside me. What time is it? I look over at the clock, one of the many things Chase stocked the apartment with. Three am. I still have three hours before I need to get up. I find my cell phone to make sure it’s charged. My alarm is set on my phone, and I don’t want to be late for work.

I come back into the bedroom to find Chase sitting up in bed. “I woke up and you weren’t here.”

“I went to make sure my iPhone was charged.”

  “Come back to bed.”

I realize I’m still naked. I walk over to the pile of clothing on the floor. I slip his t-shirt over my head and lay down next to him, my back to his front. He threads his arm underneath mine and pulls me close. “Go to sleep, beautiful,” he whispers in my ear. I soon fall back into a peaceful slumber.

Weeks go by, and the summer draws to an end. Chase and I fall into a happy rhythm. Most of my work days are spent near the city, enabling me to spend some quality time with him. I meet him in his office, and we find a quiet place to have lunch. Sometimes we eat, sometimes we don’t.

I love my new job at NOAA. It’s everything I wanted and dreamed about while in school. Who would have thought I could love going to work every day? I am outside all the time, and I’m doing my part to help the environment.

I absolutely love my apartment. I am so glad I let Chase talk me into moving to the city. He is right; there is so much more to do and to see here. The nightlife is amazing, and we have already found a favorite restaurant within walking distance from our apartments.

About a week before Labor Day, Chase offers to take me to Central Park. We had such a fantastic time when we last went, how can I resist? The park is so massive; we only saw a small part of it when we were there after his father’s party. Thinking about that afternoon brings back pleasant memories.

It’s late Saturday morning. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect. Neither one of us feels like driving, so we take the subway. After a few changes between lines, we wind up at the stop below the Museum of Natural History. “Oh, let’s go in. I love this museum,” I gush to Chase.

“Sure. Whatever you want to do.” I love his shy smile.

I race up to the museum attendant and pay for both of us bef
ore he has a chance to. I look back, and he has a disproving look on his face. I give him my big I-win smile. He rolls his eyes and playfully shakes his head. Ha.

I head to the first floor, and he follows behind me. I start out in the biodiversity room since the Milstein Hall is a giant circle. I jump from one exhibit to the next, reading all of the information as I go. I should have this memorized by now I have come here so often. My favorite part of the museum is the marine exhibit. There is a giant whale that hangs from the ceiling in the Milstein Hall of Ocean Life and different types of marine life in the Hall of Biodiversity. I continue to walk around, not thinking that Chase might be bored. I stop in my tracks and turn around toward him. “Is there anywhere in the museum you would like to go?”

“My dad used to take Preston and me to see the dinosaur exhibit,” he suggests.

“Oh, I like that exhibit too. Let’s go.” He turns to me with this cute childlike smile on his face. I grab his hand and head toward the stairs. The dinosaur exhibit is located on the fourth floor. I rarely come up here so it’s like I’m seeing it for the first time.

After climbing three flights of stairs, we make it to the dinosaur section. It’s a giant square with different rooms holding different types of dinosaurs. Chase leads me around the rooms. He is now the energetic one, stopping to read each information card. Every once in a while, he stands and stares at a particular skeleton. It is adorable to watch.

We continue to wander around other sections of the museum. There are some new exhibits that have just been added that I have never seen. As we walk, I realize that I’m hungry. I look at my watch. Holy crap, it’s two thirty. I turn to Chase. “Stop for a bite?”

“We could grab something near the park. Are you ready to go?”

  “Whenever you are.”

“I thought we could rent bicycles and take a ride around the entire park.”

“That sounds like fun. It’s been years since I’ve ridden a bicycle in the park.” I’ll be able to see so much more in a shorter period of time this way.

We make our way out of the front entrance of the museum and head towards 79th Street, which goes into the park. I spot a food truck selling yummy sandwiches, which is perfect food on the run. I point it out to Chase. We each get a sandwich and take a seat on a bench in front of the park.

“Such a pretty day,” he says, taking in the surroundings, his free arm around my shoulders.

  “Perfect day,” I concur.

“What do you want to do about dinner this evening?” He looks over at me, his head cocked to the side in that very sexy way.

“I think I want to stay in. Maybe cook out on the terrace.”

“Okay, I think I can accommodate your request,” he says placing a soft kiss on my temple. His response makes me smile.

We finish our sandwiches and head over to one of the many bicycle stations around the city. There is a long rack with bicycles funded by CitiBank called Citi Bike. Citi Bike is a bike share system that provides an option for short, quick trips around NYC. Before we ride, we have to purchase a pass to the system.

After the kiosk spits out a receipt, the machine unlocks two bicycles. We walk over to the end of the rack, pull out the bicycles, and head into the park.

We start out on East Drive, and I lead us south towards my most cherished part of the park. Located just north of Conservatory Water at East 74th Street is one of my favorite bronze statues—Alice in Wonderland. Alice in Wonderland is surrounded by the Mad Hatter, the White Rabbit, and a few of her other friends. Unlike most sculptures, children are encouraged to climb, touch, and crawl on everything. The amount of children filling this section of the park is stunning. We make a large loop to see all of the amazing statues.

Once back onto East Drive, we head west along the reservoir. It eventually turns into West Drive by Lenox Avenue. We pass the Discovery Center and Lenox Avenue Playground. On our right is Great Hill, the third highest point in the park.

Pedaling on, we head over toward 79th Street, which cuts through the park. Located on the corner is Shakespeare Gardens. The garden encompasses four acres of plants that change according to season. Included among these are plants such as rosemary and pansies, alluded to by Ophelia in Hamlet, thistle, mentioned in the play Much Ado About Nothing, and even a white mulberry tree that is said to have grown from a graft of a tree planted by Shakespeare himself in 1602. Bronze plaques with corresponding quotations from Shakespeare’s plays have been placed along the path. This is where the famed Shakespeare in the Park plays are performed. It’s beautiful, and when I am in the park, I always try to stop by this area.

Moving on, we head toward Strawberry Fields. Chase stops to read one of the many informational plaques found all around the park. “John Lennon and his wife Yoko Ono lived in the Dakota Apartments adjacently located to this area of the park. It was here, walking into his home on December 8th, 1980, that John Lennon was murdered and shot dead.”

“He was killed right here?” I ask curiously. “Wow, I didn’t know that.”

“I love the mosaic tiles here in the center,” he points out. I ride over to the center of the walk, which has a huge round circle made up of black and white mosaic tiles. In the center reads the word ‘Imagine’. Chase scoots over to me. He takes out his iPhone and holds it up in the air. “Look up. I’m taking a picture of us with the tiles in the background.” I get as close as I can get on a bicycle and look up and smile. He shows me the photo when it’s done. Wow, he is so handsome.

I look down at my watch; it’s almost five. I think it’s time to go home. “I’m getting tired, you ready to head back home?”

“Not yet. Just a little more?” he asks.

“Okay.” He jumps back on his bike and takes off down the walk. I hurry after him.

He races toward Conservatory Garden. This is such a tranquil part of the park. The garden is comprised of six acres of beautiful seasonal plants that are arranged into three styles: English, French, and Italian. This area is also separated from bicyclists and runners. We park our bicycles and take a leisurely stroll. Once we’ve seen enough, we get back on our bicycles and head toward one of the many park entrances.

It’s now six, and I’m exhausted. I want to go back to my apartment, open up a bottle of wine, and relax. We bring the bikes back to another Citi Bike rack, and they lock once we put them into place. We wind up at the end of the park, where we entered the first time by Columbus Circle. Chase directs me toward the subway, and we walk downstairs to head back downtown.

Luck is on our side; we enter the tunnel just as a subway train approaches. We quickly get on and find a seat. Chase sits protectively next to me, his hand holding on to my shoulder, like he is staking his claim. It’s very sweet. A quick fifteen minutes later, we are back near our apartments. We start to walk over toward my apartment when Chase’s phone beeps. He must have gotten a text. He pulls it out of his pocket and reads it. He looks over at me. “Olivia, I need to answer this. Give me a minute, okay?”

“Sure.” He types something back then mutters to himself.

“I need to go back to my apartment for a minute. I need some information on my desk. Walk with me?” he asks.

“Um, okay.” We walk past my building towards his and head up the elevator to his apartment. Chase goes in and heads for his desk, while I wait in the living room. He comes back in texting again.

“I just need to wait for a response,” he murmurs. “Should be just a few minutes.” He looks back down at his phone again and sends another text. A minute later, his phone beeps. He reads the text and nods his head. “Good,” he breathes. “We can go now.” That was strange.

Back down the elevator we go, back to my apartment. Paul opens the door for us, and we walk toward my elevator bank. I place my card in the slot, and the doors open up. I look over at Chase, he appears anxious. Really strange.

We reach the top floor, and I stroll toward my apartment, Chase behind me. I open the door and hit the light switch, walking
through the hallway, and into the kitchen. I turn on those lights as well.

  “Surprise!”

  Holy crap!

There are at least two dozen people in my living room and more outside on the terrace. I turn toward Chase and glare at him. He gives me that shy boy smile. My mom comes over. “Olivia, this place is gorgeous,” she says in amazement. I told you so. “I think it’s wonderful how Chase organized an impromptu house warming for you.”

I glance over at him. “Barbeque on the terrace, huh?”

“I told you that I could accommodate that request,” he says with an enigmatic smile. Sneaky bastard.

I make my way around the room, greeting friends and family. Chase’s father and Tiffani, Brenda, friends from Anthony’s, including Anthony himself. A few of Chase’s friends he’s been dying for me to meet. One of them I recall from when we were at Davis. I walk out on the terrace to find more of my friends.

There is a waiter walking around with hors d’ oeuvres, a bartender behind a makeshift bar, and a chef manning the grill. Chase has thought of it all. I stand on the terrace, amazed at what he’s managed to pull off. Chase comes up behind me, placing his hands around my waist. He nibbles on my ear.

“Are you happy, my beautiful girl?” he inquires in a seductive tone.

“How did you manage all of this?”

“I had the idea and ran it by Brenda. She told me who to invite.” Of course she did.

“It’s amazing, I can’t believe you did all of this.” I turn around in his arms and kiss him tenderly.

“Believe it,” he breathes. “I would do anything for you.” He leans down and bites my bottom lip. I let out a quiet groan. He lets go. “We’ll finish this later. Enjoy your party.” He walks over to the bar and asks for two glasses of Cliquot. He hands one to me. “To your new apartment,” he toasts so only I can hear him. I clink my glass with his, and we both take a sip. “Go and mingle with your friends. Now, off you go,” he says as he playfully smacks my ass.
