“Then let her tell me that. Didn’t seem that way from the look she gave me just now. Afraid of a lil competition. Not that there is any, but you can’t do shit about it can you Col? Sarie and I belong together, always have, and always will. No matter what you try, she will always come back to me; it’s just the way it is. Think I’m lying, if so, you would have had her years ago, but she stayed with me.” Kellen grinned; Colin seized him by the front of his tux and slammed him into the wall.

“Keep fucking with me Kel…and I swear to God…I’ll put you down…again.” Colin hissed, just as Missanna and Kevin walked into the kitchen.

“Col.” Kevin called frowning, as Missanna stood there opened mouthed.

“What the fuck are you doing here?” She suddenly spat, and Kellen grinned.

“Nice to see you too Missanna. And I was invited, now if you’ll excuse me, I need to speak with Sarie.” Kellen stated as he straightened his shirtfront, fixed his cummerbund and bow tie; then bowed with a sardonic grin.

“I’m warning you Kel!” Colin cried as he tried to grab hold of him, but Kevin moved his body in front of Colin, holding him in place.

Kellen sauntered out of the kitchen laughing.

“What the fuck is he doing here?” Kevin cried.

“I have no clue, obviously someone invited him. I can damn well guarantee it wasn’t Barry or Sandra. He probably finagled himself into being someone’s +1.” Colin said running his fingers through his hair. “I swear to God, if he tries anything with Sarie, I’ll fucken kill him Kev.” Colin spat, and Kevin frowned, then looked at Mesanna imploring her for some kind of help.

As I came from the dressing rooms, I was surprised to see Kellen waiting by the door.

I frowned, but did have to admit that he looked extremely handsome in his tux.

  *

  Kellen stood watching Sariekiko.

He’d always known that she was beautiful, but as he stood there gazing at her in that amazing red number, which seemed to accentuate every luscious curve of her body, he knew he’d fucked up royally.

  But was he too late?

What he’d witnessed in the kitchen between her and Colin, what he tried his best to ignore for the last ten years, was it real?

He knew Colin was in love with her, from day one; which was exactly why he’d asked her out.

Anything to fuck Colin and his choir boy ways.

But what he didn’t count on, was Sariekiko being in love with Colin!

He often wondered if they were fucking around behind his back, and even with Colin’s constant denials, he didn’t believe them. Not to mention, it gave him the excuses he needed for the constant women he hooked up with behind her back, and assuaged him of guilt.

But it fucked any kind of friendship he might have had with Colin, and the rest of the crew when they found out; as well as the fight between him and Colin. It was exactly for that reason that everyone he’d seen that night, pretty much shunned him; even down to the bride and the groom.

He wasn’t even sure why he accepted Savina’s invitation.

He sighed, and realized the reason was at that moment glaring at him, and he smiled slightly.

He assumed that even ten years later, Sariekiko had no clue, or she wouldn’t have accepted his calls over these last five years.

But he felt if she could cheat, then he could as well.

It wasn’t till years later, after he had already spread the rumors about her, that he found out that Minka had lied about Colin and Sariekiko.

By then it was too late, she hated him.

He also realized that he loved her.

Well, he would do whatever it took to get her back, he thought as she fixed him with a glare.

  *

I felt like slapping myself mentally, as I felt the residual feeling for him resurface as he stood before me, smiling slightly.

“I wondered if I could have a word?” He asked, and my frown deepened.

“What would be the point Kellen? We both know where we stand. I’m in love with Colin, and always have been, even before you.” I retorted, tried to bypass him, when his hand snaked out and seized my wrist.

He drew me to him, and before I could do anything, his lips were on mine, and I gasped struggling against him.

I moved away from him, and he released me grinning.

I turned at the gasp, saw Colin standing there and he immediately turned and walked off.

“Colin!” I yelled, but he kept walking. “Asshole.” I spat in Kellen’s direction, and he frowned.

“Why, because I still love you?” He cried, and I gave him an incredulous look.

“You have no clue what love means Kellen. It has always been you and you alone from day one.” I stated, tried to walk away again, when he caught my hand.

“I know Sar, and I’ve changed. I realized what you meant to me after all the shit cleared, and have been searching for you for the last 5 years.” He sighed, and I just stared at him wide-eyed.

  “You…”

“Just give me a few minutes of your time Sar, I promise I can explain it all. That’s all I ask.” he begged, and I sighed.

“Fine, but not right now. I need to find Colin.” I said, then hurried off.

Kellen grinned running his fingers through his raven hair, his green eyes full of tomfoolery.

For the simple fact that she was willing to speak to him, proved that she still had feelings for him.

Maybe not love, but feeling all the same, and that he could work with.

He walked off with a huge grin.

Fuck Colin, he thought grinning even wider.

  Coming Soon…

  One Foot in the Grave…

Millen just wanted to do her thang…with no distractions.

For the last year she’d basically become a hermit, her mind on school, work and nothing else. That is until her girlfriends practically dragged her from her two story walk up, for a night on the town in Manhattan; the city where anything goes.

Unfortunately for Millen, she caught the attention of the wrong person…

Stanly Scott knows his name is less than special, which is what fuels his disdain for people in general.

It was the very reason he because a police officer, then rose through the ranks as fast as he did, because the less he had to deal with people in the department the better.

When he got the call for a Manhattan murdered CEO at Triathlon Conglomerate, he figured it was just another routine call.

That is until he walked straight into Millen Furburrow.

Nothing after the moment he looked into her beautiful chocolate brown eyes would ever be the same.
