The Goat-Ripper Case: Sonoma Knight PI Series Page 24

by Peter Prasad

For 15 weeks, the author in me bounced through life as a near-blind and distracted twit. I want to thank family and friends who loved and tolerated me during that time. I was mostly distracted and over the edge.

  Thanks Jay-Po and the M&Ms: Honest, I couldn’t be a richer man.

Thank You: Beta readers, editors, proofers, grumblers, keepers of language, settlers of genre-style and age-appropriate don’t.

Editor: I got professional help from Temma Ehrenfeld, an editor and story developer. Thank you, Temma, you are the red-pencil wielding goddess of the printed page. She may be reached at: expertediting.org

Cover Design: We went seven rounds on the cover design. I’m pleased with Clarissa Yeo, an up-and-coming designer in Singapore. I’ll use her for all future work in the Sonoma Knight series. She may be reached at: [email protected]

Book Formatting: My professional e-book and paperback format person is Debora Lewis arenapublishing.org. She specializes in crime thrillers. She’s at the top of my hero list.

Medical research was drawn from dialog with Dr. Peter, my neighbor. Oddly, his dad, the sheriff of my neighborhood, is Wally.

[email protected]. Please join me. Heaven knows what I’ll say next.

[email protected]. I post pictures that remind me of what I’m doing and where I’m going. Each book project has a board. Please enjoy.

Reviews & Likes: Reviews posted to Amazon US & UK and Goodreads are vital to the livelihood of every independent author. Please express yourself. Good or bad, please share your feelings about Goat-Ripper. Every opinion gives voice to a group of people that feel the same way you do. I read them and it helps me be a better writer too. So thanks, in advance.

More on Cheese: Download the Sonoma-Marin cheese trail map here:

The entire farmstead dairy set-up is drawn from repeated visits with cheese-makers and friends in Sonoma, but they wish to remain nameless. I honor that request. Every Thanksgiving I buy six pounds for my table and for gifts.

My Sonoma cheese club is run by the good folks at The Beverage People, a real place in Santa Rosa.

Remember to support your local farmers and dairy folks. Visit Farmers Markets as often as you can. I always meet the best-looking vegetables there.

  Huzzah sun, rain and soil.

What will Jake Knight do next? I’m 50 pages into Sonoma Knight: The Gurl-Posse Case. Jake must rescue a kidnapped teen-ager, keep her out of jail, and go after the bad guys that want to do even worse. I hope to have it for you by November 2013.

  Thanks again for your readership.
