“You need to go to your pack and prepare them. Since this will be the royal family’s home, all will be needed to set up for protection, and who better than family?”

Alton glanced at Maxim, who nodded. “Agreed. Hedrick it will be good to have you and Ana around here. Willow, I’m afraid the home your mother created is going to be too small for us. Do you know of another place we could use as our home?” Alton asked.

Ida snorted. “You can have this place, but know I come with it. It’s large and Marsha doesn’t want it, plus I believe she has other things on her mind now.”

Willow peaked around Alton to see Bane cornering Marsha up against the side of the patio. She laughed, and was going to warn her brother, but Alton placed his hand on her arm, shaking his head.

“No, this is his own fight, Little Kitty,” he smiled. “But it seems we have another couple that will be settling down here. Are you sure about this, Ida?” Alton asked. “This has been your place for generations.”

“And it will be. Willow and Marsha are like sisters. It’s only fitting that they stay. I haven’t opened the back part of the house in years, since my husband passed. It’s time it was lived in again. There are six bedrooms, a separate kitchen and family room in that section of the house. I think it will be perfect for what you need. Plus, my animals and I can help with protection. Looks like Blue and Randle found a few stragglers already,” she nodded back towards the river.

“What?” the President of the United States said.

Alton gave her a quick kiss. “Let me get this situation taken care of and then we can move relax for the night.”

Willow nodded as Vaulau moved to his men, giving them orders as Storm and Langut appeared again. From the looks of it, he hadn’t fared too well. His right eye was now swollen a little.

“Don’t be so proud, look at Storm, she’s rubbing her ass and you can see the tear steaks on her face. They both have a lot to deal with, as do we,” Maxim said. “Come, I’ll help you with the grilling and then we can spend some time with Dylan. If I’m not mistaken, the Sayles family is coming too?” Maxim said, just as Dylan came over, grinning like a fool.

“We going to have a wrestling match?” her son asked and Willow laughed. Even in all this mess, there was some bonding time.

“I don’t see why not. We have plenty of men here. It will be fun and help get rid of some of the stress,” Maxim said, lifting Dylan up and hugging him.

Willow moved through the old part of the Inn, running her fingers over the antique furniture. Dylan was fast asleep in the small room she and her mother had fixed up for him in this part of the house.

She laughed, seeing his face as he stepped into his new bedroom, squealing with delight seeing the model that Maxim and Alton had been working on with him. Yes, her men were slowly bringing him into their life, loving him as their own.

But would Willow be able to handle the change in her life? That was the big question, as she fiddled with the collar around her neck. She had always been a hunter, but now Willow was going to be a diplomat. God did she hate the sound of that.

In some ways, Willow envied her sister Storm. Seeing her off on the old pirate ship that actually floated in the air had made her envious.

Willow shook her head knowing there was no sense in wishing something that wasn’t going to be and concentrated on the master bedroom.

First the windows needed to be opened, Willow moved to the first window, but before she could open them, someone else had. She slowly turned to see her father standing in the doorway.

“You look so sad. Are you really so unhappy with what you have?” he asked.

“No,” she smiled. “I just wish we could have had the time to well… you know.”

“Don’t you think you’ve done enough of that on your own?” Baal asked.

“But I’m not talking by myself. Never mind, it’s not important. So, why are you here?” Willow asked. “I’m surprised you’re not down there with all the men, planning.”

“Ahh, that’s why you’re pouting. Willow, right now Alton and Maxim are finishing up their meeting with the heads of each country. Do you really want to do that?” he asked.

“Well no, but I should have some say about my town. About where we will so-called hold court. We haven’t even started planning for the Tarrs. Shouldn’t we do that before we go get all this port crap organized? I mean things are bound to be destroyed when these things come.”

Her father laughed as Maxim and Alton came into the room. Maxim had changed clothes. He now wore a white pirate-like shirt and black jeans with a sword attached at his waist. She glanced over at Alton who also wore a sword at his hip.

“Okay what’s going on?” she asked as her mother came into the room right next to her, hugging her.

“What is going on is that you are getting that last adventure before all this goes down. Your father and I are going to watch Dylan for the next week. Go, your men have a surprise for you, but first you need a change of clothes, I do believe.” Her mother stepped back and did her magic.

Willow stared down at the black corset she wore with the peasant skirt. “Wow, I like. Now where are we going?” she asked all of a sudden really excited. “Do I need to bring my knives?”

Alton laughed and stepped around her mother, scooping her up over his shoulder. “Nope, no knives and it’s a surprise.” He turned facing her mom and dad. “Thank you for this. We’ve left a little surprise for Dylan when he wakes so he won’t feel left out. We’ll also pick him up in two days so he can join us.”

“Don’t worry, go on,” Baal said. “Make sure you keep her mind off of other things.”

“Oh, that we will do, no doubt,” Maxim yelled as they seemed to disappear from the house and ended up on something that was swaying as Alton lowered her down to the ground.

She took a look around and smiled. “Are we on a ship?” Willow asked, as she turned to look up at her men.

Together they stood looking at her with heated gazes which made her, step back for a minute.

“I suppose we need to take her up top first before we have our way with the wench,” Alton stated.

“I have a feeling you are right, but first there are a few things the lass must take off before we show her our ship. Shoes and panties come off now, Little Kitty. And while on this ship you will obey every word we say. Or we won’t hesitate to punish you, no matter where we are,” Maxim said.

Willow’s nipples hardened and she didn’t say a word as she toed off her sandals and stripped out of her panties, handing them to Alton as he held out his hand.

He brought them up to his nose, smelling them. “Do love her scent and soon I’ll be feasting on those juices that are making her thighs wet. Come, let us show you,” Alton held out his hand as did Maxim.

She smiled, slipping her hands into theirs. “Before we go up, thank you.” A single tear rolled down her face.

“Aww, Little Kitty, we both knew how much you needed this. I’m just sorry it can’t be for longer. But we do promise, we will keep things lively for you, slipping away when we can,” Alton promised, leaning down and placing a simple kiss on her lips, before nipping her bottom lip.

“Now, let’s go because I can’t wait to take my knife to your clothes and rip them from your body.” Alton led the way out of the officers’ quarters, at least that’s what she thought they were in. Or should she say, head pirate’s quarters?

What Willow wasn’t expecting was that the ship was twice what she’s ever dreamed it to be and that it was manned by some of the hottest men… “Ouch,” she glared at Alton, which got her in more trouble.

Alton dragged her over to the side of the ship and picked her up so her belly rested on the edge of the railing, lifting her skirt and exposing her ass to everyone.

“You will not glare at your master. And there is no need to be looking at other males,” he snarled, spanking her three times on each cheek hard.

  “Damn it,”
she got out before another two swats came down on her butt.

“Keep your mouth shut, unless you are going to apologize,” Maxim ordered.

Willow snapped her mouth shut, all of sudden not liking her trip. Tears filled her eyes as Alton lifted her up and placed her down, pointing to the deck.

He wanted her to kneel in front of him? Of all the…she stopped, closing her eyes and hearing the words that her grandmother had said.

“Giving to a man, allowing a man to take control, is one of the greatest things I have done. I’m still here, but I love the way he touches my head when I place it against his thigh. Or when he steps in front of me to protect me from any threat. With each touch, I come to love my man more. It’s not losing freedom. It’s gaining freedom to do what I love. I’m now free to see my grandchildren, while he works on the issues at hand. Free to cook or read if I want. He has given this all to me.” she had said.

Slowly, without looking up, Willow knelt between Maxim and Alton, keeping her gaze down. “Sorry Sirs?” Willow said, hoping she was doing this right.

She would have smiled when the pillow appeared before her knees touched the deck. Her grandmother had been right. They would see to her comfort before all else.

Alton knelt in front of her. Placing a finger under her chin, he applied a little pressure to bring her gaze up to his. Maxim behind him now watching.

“You did that fine, and thank you. You’ve given us something more than you will know.” He leaned in and kissed her lips softly at the same time he touched her collar.

She had come home, they now held the leash on her soul, where it should be. No matter what happened, their ship would always sail together with her at their side.

  Dark Storm

Book Four of The Surrender Series

“If you want to see the sunshine, you have to weather the storm.”

  —Frank Lane

Storm watched the land disappear as the different ship lifted up in the air. Storm had been used to ships, but this was out of her league. She peeked over her shoulder at the man who claimed to be her mate, watching the way he moved about the ship giving orders.

Oh, he was the Viking all those romance stories wrote about. His long blond hair braided, black leather boots, and pants that hugged that gorgeous ass he had, not to mention the eight pack of abs. Man when he had pulled off his shirt as they lifted off the ground, helping his crew of over 100 war-like gods, man the ship, Storm’s dead libido had come roaring to life.

But Storm pulled back. She would not touch the man sexually until he knew what he was getting. She snorted, knowing she had no choice, that this man took what he wanted and Langut wanted her, he had told her so before they had been summoned.

The man in question turned, his swirling gray eyes met her confused ones. He was a master of his life and Storm knew he would be the master of her life as well. But could he handle the dark Storm when she was exposed? Could he feed her when she needed it? So many questions and yet they had a mission to find this Mered. Would her problems interfere with this great hunt?

Storm yanked her attention away from the man, but it was too late. She knew he’d come to her and he did.

“Why so gloomy? Watch the stars above, they always make me smile and give me peace.” He placed a kiss on the side of her neck. “And don’t worry, I am quite capable of feeding my woman.” He ran his finger down her arm. “Yes, I’ve known what you are and the Dark Storm you call yourself will quite satisfy the Roplixooin me.” He reached up and cupped her breasts without thought, squeezing hard to the point of pain. “Mine!”
