Tewkesbury was not quite the end of King Edward’s troubles: he still had rebellions in the north to suppress, and in the east the bastard of Fauconberg was besieging London with some vim. Once these rebellions were put down, though, he went on to reign for another twelve years until his premature (and unexplained except perhaps as a result of gluttony) death in 1483, after which his young son Edward V became king, though he was never crowned, of course, since his uncle, Edward’s brother Richard, Duke of Gloucester, took his place, and I think by now we all know how that turned out.
