“Madre de Dios, do you know how long I’ve dreamt of this moment?” he whispered huskily. “I hope to God this isn’t a dream.”
“It’s not. Please give me more,” Lynette pleaded.
She brought his head back to her breasts and her head fell back in pleasure as he obliged. Remy took a beaded tip into his mouth and she cried out as he sucked on each, bringing them deep into his mouth over and over again. The action sent pleasure coursing through her core.
“Oh, God, yes, I want to feel you inside me,” she moaned wantonly as she pushed his head harder against her breasts and wrapped her legs around his waist and writhed beneath him. She wished he’d take her, bury himself deep inside her.
“Not yet, mi reina.” He chuckled. “I want to make you scream my name. I want to taste every inch of you.”
He kissed his way down her body and pushed her legs apart almost roughly. “Spread your legs for me. Let me taste your wetness.”
Lynette felt his breath against her pussy and her core spasmed in anticipation. He ran a lone finger along the swollen lips of her snatch and slipped it inside her slowly. Lynette cried out and arched, clenching her hands in the sheets. She spread her legs wider in a silent plea for him to take more.
He gave a low groan and he lifted her hips to his face and lips. She felt his tongue against her clit and she shivered. His tongue replaced the action of his finger, slowly licking at her labia and penetrating her. Lynette body’s arched upward at each flick of his tongue and she ground against his face. She cried out his name as waves of pleasure coursed through her body. His lips brought her more than just pleasure but the need to be devoured completely as he manipulated her aching flesh. He sucked her clit ravenously, spread her legs even further apart and took more. The sensations were driving her to the edge of reason. Her head thrashed back and forth on the pillow as she strived for release.
“Oh, baby, I’m going to come,” her voice keened on the words.
“I want to hear you, and taste your come on my tongue.” He groaned.
Remy gave her what she asked for and sent his fingers deep into the warm cavern of her pussy. Lynette couldn’t help the soft scream that escaped her as he fucked her with his fingers. She lifted her hips to take more of his digits into her core. Each action slid them deeper, and the coil tightened further until she shuddered. As she reached the pinnacle, her eyes closed and her breath was coming in fast, excited puffs. He fingered her snatch until her orgasm overtook her and his name was on her lips. Her juices flowed, and he whispered her name in satisfaction watching her come.
“Do it again.” Remy groaned.
She gasped when his fingers picked up speed, fucking her faster and deeper than before. This sent her spiraling into another round of ecstasy. Her body gushed its juices again and she pumped against his hand trying to savor the last of the waves of sensation. She looked at him and the pure desire in her face caused his rock hard cock to throb.
“I want more,” he growled.
Remy buried his face between her legs once more. His tongue burrowed deep inside, tasting her, driving her to madness. She let go of any reservations and pulled his face deeper into her soft wetness. She wanted it all, every last drop of gratification he offered with expert hands and tongue.
His tongue was almost furious as it lashed at her clit and penetrated her pussy. Lynette could feel herself losing control as she pressed her core against him. He knew just how to make her come again. He slid three fingers deep inside her while still tasting her pussy. Remy pushed deeper until she screamed and her body convulsed. She felt her muscles tighten around his fingers before the warm flow of her juices dripped down her ass.
“Now, now,” she panted.
“Yes, now, I can’t stand it anymore,” he muttered. He knelt and rubbed his cock against the slick aroused lips of her sex.
“Ah, yes,” Remy moaned against her neck as he sank deep inside her.
His magnificent body arched as he thrust into her core and Lynette wrapped her legs around his waist. They moved together in unison, hips meeting hips. She undulated against him, trying to take more and give more all at the same time. He kissed her hard and lifted one of her legs over his shoulder as he continued to thrust into her. His body was tense and hard and Lynette could see his muscles bunch and move beneath his skin.
“I’m going to come, Remy. I can’t hold back,” she said, panting.
“Dear God, don’t you dare hold back. I’m with you, mi corazon, mi amor.” His voice was harsh with desire.
He gave a guttural cry and her body began to tremble. Lynette’s pussy contracted and clenched tight around his shaft. His cock throbbed and with a few more frenzied thrusts he took them both over the edge. She screamed and reared up to press her lips against his shoulder. He held her to him as she felt his seed fill her. Lynette gave herself over to the swirling abyss again and she moaned his name. Remy collapsed against her and for a few long minutes she loved the weight of his body against her.
He eventually moved and she snuggled into his arms. “Round one.”
“Hmm, there’s more?” Lynette asked and then sighed. “That was bloody marvelous.”
“Honey, since we are trying to make a little Lynette-Remy hybrid, we must repeat the process over and over again.” Remy kissed the top of her head.
“Well, how can I say no to that?” She giggled.
“You can’t.” Remy moved and covered her with his body and she could feel his cock hardening against her thigh.
“So it’s like that, love?” She purred and wrapped her arms around his neck. “Game on.”
He laughed and kissed her with slow ease, building the fire inside them once more. The rest of the night was made for loving, caught in the sensual haze that was created in Remy’s arms. Lynette immersed herself in each sensation, each touch and caress, committing it to memory, even though she knew that each time would be better than the last.
Chapter Four
“I feel like death,” Lynette moaned into the cell phone.
“I’m on my way back, honey. I have everything Adira told me to buy,” Remy said.
It had been six weeks since she arrived and Lynette was laid out across Remy’s king-size bed. She’d started feeling awful a week ago and instead of getting better it got worse. Now she didn’t want to even get out of bed to get her beloved laptop to work.
Lynette called out the list. “Ginger ale and ginger tea?”
“Yes, mi amor,” he answered.
“Wontons and hot and spicy soup?”
“Yes and yes.”
“Tabasco sauce and those pretzel crackers?”
“That’s an affirmative.”
“Pregnancy test?”
“I bought four,” he answered.
Lynette gasped. “Why ever for? I’m sure one will do the trick.”
“Well, I figure why leave the odds to one,” Remy said. “You just have to go piddle on four sticks.”
“I’d drink more water but I doubt it will stay down,” Lynette said. “And I think I have vertigo.”
Remy chuckled. “Just lay there, honey. I’ll be home in ten minutes.”
“Maybe if I’d just lain there to begin with we wouldn’t be having this issue,” she muttered.
Remy gave a short laugh. “Honey, you could’ve been still as a mouse. My guys would’ve still hit the target.”
“Sod off, Remy Sanchez. I think you’ve knocked me up.”
“I think that was the goal, mi amor,” he replied.
“If I am, are we ready for this?” Lynette asked. It was the first time she ever doubted being a mom. “I’m a bit scared.”
“We’re ready for this, Lynette. You have my heart, you have all of me, and we’re going to be great parents.” Remy’s voice held such emotion that if she wasn’t already in bed her knees would be weak.
“That’s if I am preggo,” she said.
“Oh, I think you are,” Remy said. “Okay, I’m getting off the phone so I c
an drive. See you in a bit.”
“Okay, love.” Lynette hung up the phone.
Loving and making love with Remy for the past few weeks had been intense. She enjoyed every minute of the wild ride of emotions and even though she hadn’t said the words, Lynette knew that she loved Remy Sanchez. Now it seemed that they may be on the road to parenthood. It was what she wanted, but hadn’t expected it to happen so quickly. She moaned and pressed her face in the pillow as she felt another wave of nausea assault her. The consummation of making a child was fun, but she absolutely forgot how miserable Adira was those first weeks with morning sickness. The pregnancy book said it would be twelve weeks before morning sickness subsided but some women had it all nine months.
“Don’t let that be me, please don’t let that be me.” The pillow muffled her voice.
The minutes ticked by and Lynette lay stock still in bed. She didn’t feel like throwing up, so she lay just as she was, making sure not to move. The room was dim because pulling the drapes open seemed too much of a task. When you feel like you are dying, you generally don’t want the sunlight pouring in. Even when she heard the door being unlocked, she didn’t move.
“Are you asleep, honey?” Remy whispered as he came into the room.
“If I was you’d have just woken me,” she snapped.
“Um, all right,” Remy said slowly and she instantly felt bad for snapping at him.
“I’m sorry, love. I feel like a sodding mess and shouldn’t take it out on you,” Lynette said.
He sat on the bed and pushed her hair back from her face when she turned over. “I can’t carry a child for you or take away all you’re feeling, so vent on me as much as you want.”
“You’re a peach,” she said. “Let’s take this test and call it Wally.”
“Why would we call the test Wally?” Remy asked.
Lynette managed to laugh at his question. “It’s a saying we use in the UK. It means let’s get it over and done with.”
“I think we already know the answer. We just need hard confirmation,” Remy said and pulled the tests out of the bag. “You go do these and I’ll get you some tea and soup.”
“I want a cheeseburger and salty fries,” she moaned, but her stomach gave a lurch at the thought.
“I think that’s off the menu for the next few weeks,” Remy said sympathetically.
“As soon as I’m feeling better, I’m getting a burger with blue cheese crumbles and bacon. Oh, and pickles. Lots of pickles,” Lynette said. Remy helped her up and she moaned. “Augh, I’ll file that thought away for now. My stomach is not liking it.”
He kissed her gently and held her for a few moments. “It will be all okay, honey. I promise you.”
“Mmm-hmm,” she said against his chest. Being wrapped in his strong arms made a lot of things better in her world.
She walked slowly to the bathroom and closed the door before looking at the small rectangular boxes in her hand. Lynette sat on the toilet and sighed before ripping open the first box and reading the directions. “Seems simple enough. Digital readout, just piddle on the stick,” she murmured. She set about the task and lined all the tests up on the granite sink surface. She watched each one blink the word ‘pregnant’ one after the other. Remy knocked on the door only minutes later and she was still staring at the tests.
He poked his head inside the room. “What’s the verdict?”
“Take a look.” She waved at the tests.
He stepped inside and looked at them. Remy gave a soft laugh and pulled her into his arms. “We’re pregnant.”
“Why do men say that?” she asked outraged. “You get to have the fun and I get to carry the baby.”
“I’ll carry you everywhere you want to go. I’ll do everything for you. You’ll never have to lift a finger.” Remy kissed her temple. “You’ll be a pampered mommy.”
“That’s sweet, but I need to be active and have a healthy baby,” Lynette said.
“Are you happy? I mean, with carrying my kid?” Remy said worriedly.
She looked up into his handsome face and saw the worry in his eyes. Lynette kissed him and poured everything she felt about him into the kiss. “If that doesn’t answer your question, I’ll say it as well. I am unequivocally thrilled that I’m pregnant with the next generation of Remy Sanchez and Lynette Bridges.”
“Well, let’s get my beautiful mommy-to-be into bed and get some nourishment into her.” Remy swung her up into his arms.
“We should call Adira and Favian and let them know. Plus, we need the information from her obstetrician.” She leaned her head against Remy’s chest.
He got her settled into bed. “We can do that tomorrow. Let’s enjoy our news by ourselves for a little while. I’ll go grab the tray with your soup and tea.”
“I feel like I can sleep for a week.” Lynette yawned.
“Since it’s Sunday we can stay in bed all day,” he said as he left the room.
He came back with a tray in hand and a book under his arm. “I picked up a book for expecting parents. You eat and I’ll go through it.”
“I hope this stays down,” Lynette said apprehensively as he placed the tray over her lap. The smell of the hot and spicy soup and ginger tea didn’t make her feel any worse so she was hopeful.
“This says we won’t be able to hear a heartbeat until about ten weeks and this chart can gauge how far along you are.” Remy turned the book to face her. “So if you give me the date of your last cycle…”
Lynette looked at him in horror and shock. “I’m not telling you about my cycle. That’s not a subject we discuss in mixed company.”
Remy roared with laughter. “How is this mixed company? It’s just me and you. I’ve been down there, honey, and I know it very well.”
“I was taught you never discuss female issues with your significant other. Even if you know it well, and, yes, you do, but that doesn’t mean you get to know its private business,” she said primly and held out her hand. “Give me the book. I’ll sort it out and tell you.”
Remy handed it over, and got up, still laughing. “I’m going to open the drapes and let some light in. We can look at the skyline while we lay in bed and discuss baby Sanchez’s future.”
He strode across the room and in seconds the room was flooded with the early afternoon light of New York. The sky was a crystal blue and only a few wispy thin clouds could be seen, and from his floor-to-ceiling windows she could see the city.
Lynette moaned dramatically. “The light, the light.”
“Okay, Count Chocula, you won’t turn to ash, so you can cut it out,” he teased and got back into bed with her. “So how pregnant are you?”
“I am not a cartoon from a breakfast cereal box.” She poked his shoulder, making sure not to spill any of the soup or tea as she did so. “According to the chart wheel in here I’m about four weeks pregnant which is really early. So we’ve got weeks yet before we need to make a doctor’s appointment.”
“Oh,” Remy said.
She looked at him curiously when she heard a note of disappointment in his voice. “What was that about? That sad ‘oh’ like someone told you Santa is not real.”
“I thought you’d be further along than that,” he admitted. “Like from the first night we made love.”
“It happens that way sometimes, but not all the time,” Lynette said. “Six weeks is not that long.”
He leaned back against the pillow with his hands behind his head. “Yeah, you’re right. Finish your soup and tea, sweetheart. You need to have some kind of nutrition. Later, if you’re feeling better, I’ll get you some sorbet.”
“Oh, sorbet! Rainbow, please. Yummy!”
Remy chuckled. “Your eyes lit up like a kid in a candy store when I said that.”
Lynette shrugged. “What can I say? I love sweets. There weren’t treats in my house growing up. I had to sneak them home and hide them in my room. My parents said it wasn’t good for higher brain function and said it would have been distractin
g. Whatever. I would have loved a birthday party with cake and a piñata and hide and go seek rather than word games and crossword puzzles. Or, bloody hell, just some affection would have been nice.”
“They may not have hit you, but that sounds like a form of abuse,” Remy said softly. He rubbed her shoulders. “Honey, I’m so sorry you missed out on your childhood.”
“Water under the bridge,” Lynette said. “That’s why I’m going to be the best mother I can be. I will always protect this baby, no matter what the cost.”
“Then that makes you the best parent in the world,” he said. “How does your tummy feel after having that soup and tea?”
She leaned back against the pillow. “Hmm, surprisingly, my nausea level is at a three on a scale of ten being ‘look out, I’m going to spew’ and, thankfully, the world is not spinning. Adira’s ideas seem to be working.”
He held up his hand for a high five. “We’ll switch it up every few days so your body doesn’t become accustomed and maybe we’ll survive these first twelve weeks.”
She gave him a look and ignored his high five. “Again with this we thing?”
“Honey, I’m in this with you all the way.” He stood and took the tray and put it on the table next to the plush chair in the corner. “How about you scoot down and we watch some Sunday TV or take a nap?”
“A shower first, then we can do either/or,” Lynette said as she scooted to the end of the bed. For the last few days, standing led to dizzy spells so she put her feet on the ground and sat there for a few minutes to let her body get accustomed before she stood. “All I’m saying is support is all well and good but it’s not your body that will be changing.”
“I’ll get pregnancy cravings with you and sympathy contractions. How’s that?” Remy teased.
“When they are real contractions, let me know, love,” she called over her shoulder and closed the bathroom door.
She got undressed and turned on the water in the shower before brushing her teeth at the sink. Lynette stepped into the tub and the hot sting of the water felt great against her skin. She soaped herself and her hand rested over her stomach. She couldn’t help the smile of pure joy that crossed her face. There was a little person growing inside of her, probably only a few cells so far, but was nestled safe in her womb.
