“Yeah…I know,” he sighed thickly. “Thanks for listening. I mostly just wanted you to know Lili might visit a lot today.”
“We’ve got a surprise we’re working with IT at the moment and bringing it online with Lili might be our first,” Eve picked up her phone and tapped on the front. “A new app for most phones…” she turned it to face him, a shot of the nursery room and a happily playing Hailey.
“That…is brilliant,” he smiled and relaxed a little.
“I’ll be sending the app to all our parents once we have things smoothed through,” she promised, laying the phone down and getting up to walk with him to the front of the play care. “We’ll take care of Hailey, Oliver, I promise.”

Lili didn’t know how she made it through the morning. She was on her way to the nursery when her phone sounded, the brightly lit room where Hailey played immediately on her screen.
Slim fingers went to her lips, touching the little smile as she sunk into the chair at her desk at the same time the large vase of flowers appeared.
Oliver managed to set the flowers on her desk before gathering her in his arms, his lips moving next to her ear and promising her their baby was safe.
Lili knew it might take some time, but she believed him and loved him more than she ever thought possible. She let the warmth and whispered words soothe her, their sighs mingling in the quiet around them.
