"Is that an order, Maam?"
I sweep her off her feet before she can reply, the magical sound of her giggles turning to seductive, sensuous sighs. We make love throughout the night, honoring and reveling in each other's sacred touch.
Christine has given me back my physical passion and my self-confidence. Most importantly, she's given my life meaning beyond service to others, and taught me how to accept my vulnerability as a blessing.
I deserve love and happiness, and I'm worthy of holding Christine in my arms, for the rest of our lives.
Three Months Later
"I love spending time with your incredible friends," Christine says, as we slow dance at Ian and Sarah's wedding reception.
My heart is full of pride at the progress I've made with Christine's therapy, and her hot sexy body. The atmosphere at the Rehab Center has been dynamic and rewarding. Even the older veterans have found a ray of hope amidst their lifelong struggles.
The last couple of months have been more fulfilling than I could ever have asked for. Everyone in the squad has found some level of rhythm and balance after the wounds of war.
"A toast to the happy couple!" Drake says, a tray full of beers being passed around.
Christine plants a cherishing kiss on my lips, knowing how much joy it brings me to have Drake here today. We almost lost him. Her genuine compassion and kindness for my squad have become the glue that keeps us together.
"May you have all the happiness and luck that life can hold. And at the end of all your rainbows, may you find a pot of gold."
"Cheers!" everyone shouts, the clinking of bottles a timeliness representation of our brotherly love.
"Oh no you don't, baby. Do you want to tell them, or should I?"
