Flawlessly Flawed Page 23

by Amelia Shea

“I’m glad you found your Prince Charming.” Evie smiled and walked back to her desk.

She headed to her car, checking the time on her phone just as it rang. T’s name popped up on her screen. Great!

With a heavy sigh, she answered, knowing what was coming.

  “Where the fuck are you?”

Cassie opened her door and got in.

“I’m at fucking work, but I’m leaving now so I should be there in fifteen fucking minutes,” she said sweetly, and suppressed a giggle. Cassie learned an interesting fact about T, he cursed a lot but was not a fan of her cursing. He actually got pissed when she did curse so she used it to her advantage. Anytime he’d curse so would she; it was quite genius of her.

  “Not funny, Cass.”

“Oh now T, it’s a little fucking funny,” she teased. She started her engine and pulled out of the parking lot heading home.

He growled into the phone, which made Cassie smile.

“Baby, gotta go. I’ll be home in fifteen, then you can curse at me in person. Okay? Love you.”

  “Love you, pix.”

She ended the call with a huge smile. Her heart did a silly little flutter every time he said those words. He said them a lot, before bed, when they woke up, always before they left each other. Sometimes during a drive, the truck would be quiet and he’d just say it. There was no doubt, T Garrison loved her, and told her every chance he got.

He never said it but she thought the whole thing with Jimmy left him scared. It left her scared too. She still had nightmares. There were moments in life that are game changers; that was one of them.

T didn’t talk about that night much. When she asked what happened to Jimmy, T was vague.

“He’ll never get to you again, that’s all ya gotta know. Want more? I’ll give it to ya but think hard before you ask. Do you really want to know? ’Cause once you know, ya can’t go back.”

She did think hard and for now, she was content with knowing Jimmy couldn’t hurt her again. For now, that was enough.

She pulled into the driveway to see Stone coming out of the house. He stopped at the bottom of the porch and waited for her to get out and walk over.

“Your man’s pissed, Cass.” He smirked and shoved his hands in his pockets.

  “My man’s always pissed.”

  Stone laughed. “Yeah.”

“So…you excited? Big day tomorrow.” She started to hum Here Comes the Bride.

Stone grinned. “Yeah. Sadie’s sleeping at Dad’s so my last night as a bachelor will be just me and Lu.”

Cassie tightened her lips, holding back her laugh. Stone had accepted that he couldn’t change Sadie’s mind about renaming Lulu. But he also made it known to everyone else, if they didn’t want to get their ass beat, they would call her Lu.

“Well, enjoy your night with Lu.” She winked, passing by him and walking up the porch stairs to the front door.

  “Hey, Cass?”

  Looking over her shoulder. “Yeah?”

“I called it, ya know. First time I saw you two together, I knew you were the one for him. Knew you’d give him special, knew he’d give it right back. Most people who know T are shocked, him falling for a woman. Not me. I knew he’d fall but it wouldn’t be just anyone. He deserved special. Then you showed up. I called it.” He winked and turned to his truck. Cassie stood on the porch and watched until his tail lights faded.

She felt the slight burn in her eyes, the tears forming. Stone’s words were sweet, but more than that, they were honest. Tears streamed down her cheeks. Breathing heavily, wiping her tear-filled eyes, she walked into T’s house.

  * * * *

T heard the door and stalked from the kitchen. It was about fucking time. He watched her close the door behind her. She was going to get that ass spanked, something he knew she got off on. He stopped in mid-step when he saw her face. His heart dropped. Her eyes were puffy and her cheeks wet. His girl was crying.

“What’s wrong?” His voice was loud and he could hear his own worry.

She shook her head frantically and rushed over to him, throwing her arms around him and squeezing him tight. He wrapped his arms around her, ease rushing through his body. Her touch always calmed him. He was still amazed at the feeling he got every time he held her. Peace.

“Pix, what’s wrong, baby? Talk to me.” He rested his lips on her head.

He could feel her shake her head against his chest.

“Nothing. I just love you. I really love you, T.” The emotion in her voice had him hugging her tighter.

He had never thought he could feel so much love for anyone other than his family, but the love he had for Cassie was the most intense feeling he’d ever felt. He breathed easier with her, he laughed more than he’d ever done in his life. She gave him something he never thought he’d have. He was happy.

He felt her grip loosen and looked down into his girl’s beautiful, teary blue eyes. She smiled at him. “You love me?”

  “Fuck yeah!”

Cassie rolled her eyes and snorted, “Did you seriously just answer ‘Fuck yeah’? Can’t you go one sentence without using ‘fuck’?”

  T smirked. “Fuck, no.”

Cassie laughed as he knew she would. His girl loved him, all of him. Even the shit that pissed her off. She gave him unconditional love and he took it. For the first time in his life, he took love and buried his past.

T leaned down and grasped her face between his hands, giving her a long kiss.

Breaking away, she stepped back. “I’ll be ready in five minutes.”

She hurried past him, going to the stairs. Here we go!

“I canceled the appointment.” T didn’t bother turning around. He knew she was going to be pissed off. Fuck it, this was her home, with him. He knew he was being an asshole, a selfish bastard but he didn’t care. He wanted her here and he was gonna do whatever he had to do to keep her here. Love changed people but a tiger didn’t change his stripes. He was a stubborn prick. He wanted his girl with him.

He sat down on the couch, lifting his legs to rest on the table, and grabbed the remote. He heard her stomp over to the end of the couch.

  “You did what?”

“Canceled. Did a drive-by earlier, the building is shit. Not worth looking at it, you moving in there ain’t happening.”

  “T!” she shouted.

He looked over at her. “What? Cass, the place is a dump, it’s not safe, not letting my woman live there. No fucking way!”

“So, I don’t get a say?” Her face was red with a deep scowl and her arms crossed over her chest.

  “Not with that place.”

“Really?” She stared up at the ceiling. So fucking weird but cute as hell when she did that shit.

“You asking me or God?” He smirked.

She looked down at him and propped her hands on her hips. Cute. His girl was feisty but she wasn’t gonna win on this. There was too much at stake and he wasn’t backing down.

“Pix, just asking ’cause I needed to know if you’re waiting on an answer from me or the man upstairs.”

“T!” she shouted, frustrated as hell.

  “C’mere!”

She stood her ground glaring at him.

“Pixie, come here.” He crooked his finger. She dropped her arms and walked over slowly. When she got close, he grabbed her hand, dragging her body over his into a straddled position. Resting his hands on her hips, he looked up at her.

“You want your own place? We’ll find you a place. A safe, nice place. But I’m not letting you live in a shithole. I need to know you’re safe when I’m not with you. Can’t even explain the hell I was in when that asshole had you. Not knowing where you were, if you were hurt. I knew you had to be scared and that shit ripped a hole in me. Didn’t even fully get how much you meant to me until I thought I might lose ya. I need to know you’re good, you’re safe, that nothing’s gonna happen to ya. I need that, Cass,
I need you to give that to me. Ya feel me?”

He watched her face change. Her scowl was gone, replaced by her sweet smile. She got him.

  “You’re a nice guy, T Garrison.”

T snorted. “Protective yeah, but nice? Fuck no.”

Her lips formed a big goofy smile. “Uh-uh, you’re nice. Yeah, you come off as this scary, mean guy,” she said in a ridiculously deep, silly voice. “But I know underneath it, you’re a nice guy. Like undercover nice guy.”

T rolled his eyes and pulled her into his chest. Her hands wrapped around his neck and whispered in his ear, “Don’t worry, your secret’s safe with me.”

Gripping her waist, he tickled her and she tried to jump away from him but he flipped her over onto her back on the couch. She was laughing hard and T couldn’t help but smile. Her laugh always made him smile.

He covered her body with his, holding his weight on his arms that caged her in. Bringing his lips down to hers, he kissed her softly, caressing her lips, urging her to open for him. Taking his cue, she opened and stroked his bottom lip. He deepened their kiss and tasted her; so fucking sweet.

Feeling his dick harden from just a kiss, he rubbed his erection against her covered pussy. She moaned into his mouth. He pulled back from her, loving how she followed him with her lips, not wanting their kiss to end. He rose to his knees on the couch and reached to his back and pulled his T-shirt off. She cocked one brow, liking what she saw and trailing her hands over his chest. He tossed his shirt and started to unbutton her blouse. His dick was so hard from her hands washing over him. She dragged her nails over his nipples and the sensation shot straight to his cock.

He groaned and lost all his patience with her fucking buttons. “Fuck it.”

Gripping the opening of her shirt, he ripped it open and the little buttons flew everywhere. She gasped as he came down over her, stealing her breath with his crushing kiss. His hands immediately covered her tits and squeezed hard before dragging her bra down. He felt her hands scraping his back with her nails; he grew harder, needing to be inside her.

“T, baby, I need you,” she breathed.

His mouth trailed over her neck down to her breast and took her hard peak in his mouth with his swirling tongue. She groaned and arched her back, begging for more. Her hands slid over his ass and to the buckle of his jeans.

He felt the tug of the button and the zipper being yanked down seconds before her cool hand gripped his cock hard. He groaned into her breast as her hand moved over him. He knew he wouldn’t last long if she kept jerking him.

He quickly backed away from her and stood to take off his jeans. Her eyes hazy with lust, she trailed his every move while sitting up to remover her own pants.

“Keep looking at me that way.”

“Can’t help it, I like what I see.” Her voice was soft and sexy.

T sat on the couch as she crawled over to him. She tried to straddle him but he stopped her, turning her away from him and pulling her onto him with her back at his chest.

“Want to be touching every fucking part of your body when you scream out my name,” he whispered in her ear.

As she spread her legs for him, her head falling back into the curve of his neck, T entered her slowly. She was so tight and wet. He slid into her and ran his hands over her tits, teasing her nipples with a light, feathery touch. He thrust in deep, she moaned.

He loved the feel of being inside her, one hand still caressing her breast, the other caressing her pussy.

  “Love fucking you.”

His finger grazed over her clit and her body jolted over his. His finger circled over her and his cock moved deep inside her.

“Love you fucking me,” she whispered.

The feel of his hands over her body and his dick deep inside, he knew he wouldn’t last much longer. She felt too fucking good. His thrusts became harder and faster with a feral urgency. His breath was heavy; he fucked her hard. Her moans grew louder as she panted and her body moved with his. He could feel himself on the edge of exploding. He lightly pinched her sensitive nub and she screamed out, “T.”

That did him in, his name on her lips. He pounded deep inside her and grunted, pulling her body into his and moaning “Cass,” before coming hard.

The room was silent with only the sound of their heavy breathing in the background. Her body went slack against him. Wrapping his arms around her in a tender hold, he kissed her neck, until she turned her head and their lips met in a soft, sweet kiss.

Pulling back slightly from his lips, she whispered, “I’m onto you, ya know.” Her lips quirked up.

T squinted his eyes, not sure what she meant. “Yeah, how’s that?”

“No matter how many places we look at, none of them will ever be good enough, right?”

It was T’s turn to smile. Yeah, his girl had him figured out. “There’s only one place good enough for you.”

Cassie smile grew bigger and she shook her head. She knew she wasn’t going anywhere. T had his girl and no fucking way he was letting go of her.

  Chapter 30

CASSIE took one last look in the mirror before descending down the stairs. She carried her heels in her hands as to not trip down the stairs. The last thing they needed today was a trip to the ER. She hit the last step and was lifted off her feet by two large arms.

“You look too good, let’s go back upstairs so I can fuck you till you can’t walk.”

Cassie giggled and playfully slapped T’s shoulder. “Put me down, you’re going to wrinkle my dress.”

“Wanna fucking tear it off,” he growled.

  “T!”

He grunted. “Don’t get attached to the dress, I plan on ripping it off you when we get home tonight.”

He released her and she slid down his body. Taking a step back, she glanced at her man. Damn. He stood in front of her, dressed in a dark tuxedo, bow tie, and a fierce look on his face. He was always scowling. She smiled. He had let his shaved head grow in to dark stubble and his beard was neatly trimmed. “So sexy,” she purred.

His eyes intensified and his scowl grew deeper. “Don’t fucking look at me like that and not expect to get fucked, baby.”

  She smirked.

They drove the twenty minutes to the church with T teasing Cassie about everything he wanted to do to her. Apparently, T’s favorite color was red and the dress she had on he fully approved of.

They met with everyone at the church. T and Bogs headed to the back with Ethan. Cassie took her seat. T had asked her to sit on Sadie’s side. She started down the aisle and noticed Sadie didn’t have too many on her side. She took a seat in the row behind two women. A pretty woman who looked to be in her late forties smiled back at her. The woman next to her was looking down at her phone. She was older than Cassie but in her twenties she guessed. Her curly hair was pulled back away from her pretty face.

  “Fuck. No signal.”

“For Christ’s sake, Melinda, don’t curse. Jesus! You’re in church.”

Cassie giggled. The older woman turned around and gave Cassie an embarrassed smile.

  “Sorry.”

  “No worries.”

“I’m Pearl; this is Melinda.” She gestured to the woman next to her. “We’re friends from Cedar Bluff.”

  “Hi, I’m Cassie.”

The other woman smiled back at her. The door at the altar opened and out walked Ethan, Bogs, T, and then Stone. They all looked so handsome. Cassie smiled up at T, who was talking to Stone.

“God, he’s hot. Biggest mistake I ever made but fucking gorgeous.”

Cassie’s eyes darted to the younger woman in front of her.

“Which one, they’re all so handsome.”

“The guy next to Stone, T. God, he’s the biggest asshole but I’d probably still drop to my knees and blow him in the bathroom again.”

Cassie’s face paled and her eyes burned in the back of the woman’s head before turning to T. He smiled up at her w
hile she glared at him. Great, just great! She felt the angry green monster growing inside her. Jealousy sucked.

The music started and everyone rose to their feet, attention on the back of the church as the doors opened.

T stared at Cassie, who had just thrown daggers at him before she turned away. His eyebrows scrunched in confusion. What the fuck happened? He stared at her but she had her attention drawn to Sadie and his dad as they walked down the aisle. His eyes skimmed the pew before locking eyes with a certain waitress that he’d once had an indiscretion with. She now sat, smirk on her face, right in front of Cassie.

  He was fucked.

Focusing on the wedding, he watched his dad and his new sister-in-law walk down the aisle. He glanced up at Stone and smiled. Stone deserved this woman.

The wedding ceremony continued until they said their vows and were pronounced husband and wife. They headed down the aisle with T and Roxanne, then Bogs and Emory, and finally Ethan and Carissa.

T looked over to Cassie as they passed by. She had a smile on her face with tears in her eyes. When his eyes met hers, her expression changed and turned to a glare and he mouthed, “What?”

She ignored him as they passed by.

“What did you do?” Roxanne accused.

  “Fuck if I know.”

  “Church, T,” Roxanne scolded.

Cassie dodged T before they left for his dad’s house where the reception was being held. She hid out in the bathroom until the cheering quieted down and cars began to drive off. She was so pissed at him.

She knew he had a past that included lots of women, although she did try to block that out. But having one of them sitting in front of her, talking about him? That made her want to grab the bitch by her hair and scream, “He’s mine!” He had told her they were all just sex before her. They got his body but she got his body and his heart. That should have made her feel better but she was too angry. She checked herself in the mirror before walking out. She saw a few people walking to their cars and Mike waiting by T’s truck.
