“When will you know for sure?”
“In about a month.”
He pulled her to him and kissed her passionately. “I can’t wait. I don’t even care if it’s a boy or a girl. I just love kids.”
“Don’t get ahead of yourself, Lance.”
“I’m not, but I can’t help getting a little excited.”
“As a matter of fact, neither can I. I didn’t mean to tell you until I was sure, but I couldn’t keep it to myself.”
“I’m glad you told me.” He kissed her again. “In case we haven’t made a baby yet, I suggest we try again tonight.”
“I have no objection to that,” she muttered as they slid down into the bed together.
