by Agnes Alexander

“When will you know for sure?”

  “In about a month.”

He pulled her to him and kissed her passionately. “I can’t wait. I don’t even care if it’s a boy or a girl. I just love kids.”

“Don’t get ahead of yourself, Lance.”

“I’m not, but I can’t help getting a little excited.”

“As a matter of fact, neither can I. I didn’t mean to tell you until I was sure, but I couldn’t keep it to myself.”

“I’m glad you told me.” He kissed her again. “In case we haven’t made a baby yet, I suggest we try again tonight.”

“I have no objection to that,” she muttered as they slid down into the bed together.
