I looked at Dorian. He was studying me. I shifted in my chair. I suddenly felt exposed.
“You haven’t been with him long have you? Maybe a couple months.” He let his eyes dip down to my chest then back to my face. “You went back home after camp was over. University?” I nodded. “Med student. No, wait. A nurse.”
I swallowed roughly and turned my back to Avery. Dorian huffed like he just realized something. “He’s protective of you. I can’t say I blame him.”
I shrugged, downing my drink. I nodded to Kim to get me another, not caring that the room was starting to spin.
She quickly poured me another, then I could see her lips flatten while she was watching our exchange and wiped spots from a glass.
“You feel a bit dodgy here. Don’t worry. You hide it well for the most part. But true wealth makes you uncomfortable. You don’t like to be handed things. It makes you question your self worth and Avery spoils you. You’re a strong modern woman who wants to make her own way…oh, but you’re afraid if you say that to Avery he will be hurt and you could never hurt him could you? But you will…just like he was hurt before…except maybe worse.”
Okay, he wanted to play. Let’s play Dorian.
“My turn,” I snarled, knowing that he wasn’t wrong at all. I just hated when people could read me so well.
“You want to know what I see?” I didn’t wait for his reply. “I see a guy who feels superior to everyone else and that pushes people down to get what he wants. Everyone and everything is a pawn in your game and I’m not playing your game.”
“Brilliant. Okay, I’ll confess, the whole camp is buzzing about the woman that stole Avery’s heart. I gave Pierce a hundred dollars if he told me everything he knew about you.”
“Are you done?” I said, glaring at him.
Dorian threw his back in laughter. His eyes darkened when they met mine. “Oh, Luv, I’m just getting started.”
“No, we are not, and don’t call me Luv,” I said flatly. Then Kelly Diamond interrupted us. She propositioned me right in front of Dorian. Ethan stood very still, grinning, a few feet behind her.
“Excuse me, Aria. I’m about to embark on my ‘Alice in Wonderland’ adventure. You wouldn’t want to be my Mad Hatter would you?” she asked, batting her eyelashes at me. She was a beautiful woman who wasn’t shy at all.
“Well…I …uh…I’m sorry. I’d like to but I have to re-primer my boyfriends Jeep tomorrow,” I said grasping at the first excuse that popped into my head. God, I’m such an idiot.
She paused for a moment with a blank stare then after several seconds she turned toward the bar.
“How about you, Kim?” she said looking right at Kim the bartender.
Kim leaned forward and gave her a seductive look. “Well, I am off tomorrow. What suite are you in?”
Kelly’s smile widened. “Three thirty-one. Be there at eight. Don’t be late like the white rabbit was tonight,” she said tugging on her handcuffs that were attached to poor Ethan who now wore whiskers painted on his face. “Oh, and Kimmy,” she added. “Bring a whip,” she said in a heated voice. Kim gave her a wolfy-grin, winked at her, and nodded.
I quickly looked away, hoping to not get caught eavesdropping when I could feel Avery’s eyes on me. I looked to see him step into the atrium heading toward us. Whether I wanted to admit it or not, though, Dorian rattled me. He was dressed in an expensive suit and carried himself with confidence.
I was glad when Avery touched the small of my back in an intimate gesture. I got to my feet and leaned into him.
Dorian watched as I rose up on my tiptoes and Avery pulled me in tightly. His lips were unyielding and when he pulled away, I was breathless. He cupped my behind and drew me against his hardening shaft. He leaned down to my ear and whispered.
“You’re mine, Kitten.” I smiled widely back to him.
“Yes, I am all yours,” I breathed.
“Looks like you’ve been keeping the wolves at bay,” Avery said, his eyes narrowing on Dorian.
“She’s simply too sweet to resist,” Dorian answered with a grin. Avery’s mouth turned downward. When he looked back at me he spoke.
“Ready to go?” Avery asked in his endearing tone that I loved so much. He completely ignored Dorian. There was clearly a history between them. They showed signs of tension right from the start.
“Yes,” I said, relieved to be leaving.
“Aria, there you are,” Sara said. I looked up to see a smiling Sara, Colt, Sean, and Sienna.
“Hi guys,” I said. Avery smiled genuinely to his friends.
“I’m sorry guys, you’ll have to excuse us. We have a theme room booked and we have to go. We’ll catch up with you later,” Avery said. We do?
Pierce just joined us as I waved goodbye. Avery pulled me into his side and led us towards his office. Still reeling from my conversation with Dorian, I turned toward Avery.
“That’s the ass you have to kiss to get to represent this place? No wonder you’re in knots. He’s a first class, arrogant…” Avery pressed two fingers to my lips to silence me.
“No more shop talk. I have plans for us,” he said, leaning over and pressing an urgent kiss to my lips. Avery threaded his fingers through my hair and pulled me closer. I lost myself in his eyes again.
Avery took the keys from the top drawer of his office and led me toward the door. I had goosebumps at the anticipation of what he had in store. But then Travis stepped in front of us with an urgent look on his face that I’d never seen before. He held a tabloid newspaper out to Avery and we moved back inside the office.
“You have to see this,” Travis said in a clipped tone. His veins were protruding from his neck and he was on edge.
Avery opened the paper and cursed. I leaned over his shoulder to see the evidence in plain view. Someone was inside the camp taking photos of Dorian. His lips were seductively cascading down a naked woman’s stomach. Her back was arched and her breasts on full display of their intimate moment. The sheets they were laying on were red silk so that meant it was in the first floor communal room.
How did someone get that close? It could have been anybody.
“Fuck…Fuck…Fuck!” Avery shouted.

CHAPTER 10
HYSTERIA
Friday Evening, October 26th – Weekend Four
Avery was upset all day. He was in meetings most of the day and on the phone the rest. His contract negotiations with Dorian weren’t going well. He kept changing his requests and forcing Avery to give more and more like some petty game. Requests like having fresh red and white roses left in his room every morning and specific little star-shaped milk chocolate candies in a red bowl placed beside them.
Avery knew Dorian was playing a little game with him but he needed this deal to go through. Avery was already embarrassed that he spared no expense to lockdown the camp and somebody still was able to leak photos to the media. Security and privacy were what he built his reputation on.
I had to get his mind off of his problems so I threw everything into seducing him. Sex was supposed to make everyone feel better. After September 11, psychologists begged people to have sex to relieve their tension and calm their fear. This was what Avery needed and I was here to help him.
He ran his tongue down the side of my neck and shivers ran through me as he angrily thrust into me. Avery could go all night, and tonight was no exception.
It was Friday night and we stayed in and blew off the party. Dorian was called away for a business meeting in Vancouver, no doubt about the photos that appeared in the paper that now had gone viral on the Internet.
Media outlets everywhere were asking the same questions, were these genuine photos of Dorian Macallan? Were they photo-shopped? Where were these photos taken?
So here Avery and I were, making love on his king-sized bed for the third time this evening and trying to put the real world out of our heads. The first time was the shower. The second time was the kitchen. The last time, we st
arted to watch a movie in the living room but we never made it past the opening credits when he carried me to the bedroom. He was angry and insatiable.
Avery’s phone rang for the fourth time and I felt him clamor. He thrust quicker, trying to get us both closer to climax but it felt rushed so I put my hand on his chest and spoke.
“You should get that. It must be important if they keep calling back.”
Avery sighed and leaned for his phone on the nightstand.
“Travis, what is it?” Avery said in his business tone. He grew quiet as he listened. “Uh-huh,” he grumbled. Then he started moving his hips into me and held the phone away from his mouth but kept it on his ear.
My eyes widened in surprise at his bold conquest. We were having sex while Avery was on the phone.
Avery lowered the phone to his mouth. “Yes. I will.”
I took the opportunity to grind into him while he was speaking. I heard the hitch in his voice then those emerald green eyes once again concentrated on me.
“Right. What else?” he asked, gyrating his hips further into me. I gasped. Avery didn’t fight fair. The entire erotic dance pushed me closer to the edge.
‘Faster’ I mouthed to him. I was so close. Avery replied something into the phone but my heart was beating fast and my breath was right there with it. My body was begging for release.
Avery mumbled in agreement to Travis on the phone but I was sure it was meant for me. He was urging me to cum. Avery angled his hips to rub my g-spot and I bit the palm of my hand and tried to bury my head into the pillow as my orgasm over took me.
“Be there in ten,” he said curtly, and then clicked off the phone. His eyes never left mine.
“That has to be the sexiest thing that I’ve ever seen,” he said in a gruff voice.
I was still pulsing around his staff when he pulled out of me and slammed back into me. He took me hard and fast and my body bowed with him, craving more. I wasn’t done. I was building to an even bigger one. Jesus, Avery was a machine.
Avery came loud and fast. I was still building into another orgasm when he slowed his pace and laid his head next to mine. I will admit I was disappointed, I wanted more.
“You were about to cum again, weren’t you?” he asked. I nodded. “I owe you another one later,” Avery beamed at me. He kissed me chastely on the lips and moved to the shower.
I rolled to the side to watch his naked body move. He was delicious.
He was out in few minutes and dressed in just the same amount of time. “Don’t wait up for me,” he said, cradling my face and kissing me softly on the lips. Then rushed out the door.
I clicked on the television to help me quickly find a distraction. I had been so close to orgasm. I realized Avery had a movie in and since I couldn’t figure out how to switch it back to satellite channels, I hit play on the movie and settled in to watch it.
My mouth fell open in disbelief when Dorian flashed across the screen. I’d never seen this movie before. The opening scene was him naked having sex with a glorious blonde. This woman was a little thin for my taste and had fake breasts but she was still sexy.
Dorian moved to the woman’s pussy and began giving her oral pleasure. I didn’t watch the blonde. I watched his relentless mouth on her clitoris and couldn’t stop myself from slipping my fingers below the sheet and rubbing my own clit. I just wanted release and Dorian’s sexy body on screen was helping me get off.
I started to wonder what his tongue would really feel like and what it would be like to have Dorian penetrate me. His member was large and magnificent as he plunged into his lover on screen. I didn’t care that he was fucking someone else because, like all fantasies, I was the woman he was with. I was the one feeling his hard length pound into me. He flipped me over and took me from behind. He reached down to my center and rubbed. His heat circled all around me. Fuck this was hot. He was pushing harder, faster. I was rubbing harder, faster. I closed my eyes as I heard him groan. He was getting closer. So was I. My orgasm rippled through me and I heard him cum. I opened my eyes to see the beautiful strain of orgasm on his face. He was beautiful. He was hot. He was sexy as hell. Fuck. I just came watching another man get off. I just came watching my first porn. I just came without thinking of Avery. What did that mean? Maybe I wasn’t as immune to Dorian as I thought.
I took a shower, hoping to wash away some of the guilt that I felt lying in Avery’s bed while getting off by watching another man. The one man that Avery needed to endorse the camp and make billions and the man that propositioned me the first day we met. Dorian wanted to devour me and that made me melt. What was I doing? I loved Avery. It’s not about love, my subconscious sneered. I mentally shook myself.
I finished showering and slipped into one of Avery’s t-shirts. As I climbed back in bed feeling sleep overcome me, I told myself it was just a fantasy. Nothing more.
A little while later, I woke to an empty bed beside me. Where was Avery? I rose to my feet and padded down the hall and the stairs to Avery’s office. He was sitting at his chair with his head hung low and his fingers pressed into his hair. I knocked lightly on the door and Avery glanced up.
“Aria, why are you up so early?”
“I couldn’t sleep. I was missing you. Is there any news?” I replied.
He smiled but I could see the strain around his eyes. “Come sit on my lap. I could use a fresh perspective.”
I sat down in his lap and he put his arms around me. We both looked over the photos scattered over his desk.
“This security breach took planning. And why? Why did they want to risk getting caught and prosecuted? Everyone’s background has been checked. Cell phones are confiscated at the front desk, locked in a safe, and the Internet is blocked, just to prevent this from happening.”
“Maybe he’s after something. Or someone,” I advised.
“What’s the reward for getting a photo of one of the most famous men in the world in a fantasy camp during an orgy?” Avery raised his eyebrows at me.
“Priceless,” I responded.
“Exactly,” he said.
“It’s always about the money,” I agreed.
“But in the end it’s about my camp and protecting my clients and workers and letting them have the time of their lives in a place that’s safe. I can’t have them at risk. This could ruin my business.”
I frowned, not knowing what to say to that. Avery’s phone rang and he reached for it.
“Travis, what do you got?”
Avery listened to what Travis had to say and I couldn’t help but wonder if Avery stayed up all night putting out fires and doing what he could to secure his camp.
“Pierce is calling in. Let me call you back.” Avery switched over to Pierce. “Any sign of how they pulled this off?” Avery asked.
I went to stand up to give Avery some space when he brought me back to his lap. He lowered me in under his chin and I pressed my head against his chest. I could hear the rapid beat of his heart and the reverb of his voice as he answered Pierce.
“No. I don’t like the sound of that. I’m on my way,” he said. He hung up and cradled me tighter. “This is not what Heaven’s like,” he muttered.
“I wish there was something that I could do to help me make this easier. Need a distraction?” I teased.
“Always,” he gushed. He kissed the top of my head and helped me to stand. “I need to go. Daniel will be here in the morning to make you breakfast. Just call down when you wake up and he’ll fix you whatever you’d like.” I have a butler. How strange. “I’ll be back before you leave,” he added.
“Okay. Be careful.” I set off down the hall and up the stairs back to the big empty bed. God, this sucked.
Later that afternoon, I heard Avery pull into the drive and made my way down the stairs to greet him. His eyes looked tired until he saw me then they turned heated. He closed the several feet between us, threw me over his shoulder then climbed the stairs and made his way to our bedroom.
“I need to
fuck you,” he barked.
I giggled as he unbuckled my jeans and stripped them from me.
He didn’t bother with my shirt this time. He unfastened his pants and lifted me up around him. He sank two fingers into me to see if I was ready for him and as soon as he slipped them out, he plunged his member into me.
He was hard and rough and his eyes weren’t completely meeting mine. It was like he was somewhere else. He wasn’t with me in the here and now.
I saw the same look on his face when he was with Caitlyn. What the fuck? I leaned back and cradled his face. “Avery, look at me.”
He blinked then scanned my face. I could see the light coming back in his eyes as he slowed his pace and stopped.
“Where’d ya go?”
“I don’t know,” he shrugged, and then exhaled.
“You can take me hard and fast anytime but don’t veg out on me like that again. Do you understand?”
“I’m so sorry, Aria. It won’t happen again,” he said, leaning his forehead against mine.
“It’s okay, Avery. I get it,” I replied. I wrapped my legs and arms around him, letting him know he could continue.
He pivoted slowly in and out but kept his eyes on me like he always did.
“Let go, baby. Take me any way you want,” I said.
Avery turned us, pressed me up against the wall, and pushed in deeper.
I moaned, relishing the thought of our night together.
It wasn’t long before we were both crying out in orgasm. Avery’s heart beat rapidly against my back.
“God, Aria. I love coming home to you,” he breathed. “Eight more weeks and you can be here everyday. I can’t wait to have you all to myself.”
I smiled at him. “Greedy, boy,” I teased. I felt his smile as he kissed me deeply. I knew this kiss was different. He was losing himself in me, and I couldn’t help but feel the same.
