She sniffs and I wipe away another tear. “I….” My mouth crashes against hers. I can feel Rosie patting my head as I kiss my wife for the first time.
“Okay, well then. I now pronounce you husband and wife. May I proudly present, Mr. and Mrs. Sanders.”
We continue to kiss, Rosie kicking me with her little foot and giggling in my ear, but I don’t care. Bo finally hits me on the back, and I release her mouth but we stand there a few more minutes looking into each other’s eyes until I hear the growling of her stomach. I grab Rosie from her arms, take her hand and practically pull her down the steps and down the little aisle and right to the table at the front of the other ones, Rosie’s high chair sitting there in the middle. I set Rosie in her chair and pull out the one next to it and help Pearl sit. “I’ll get food for my girls.” I kiss her quickly and take off for the food table.
By the time I get there, holding two plates to fill, a line has formed to my side of people, talking, laughing, and I see Jade next to me. “Welcome officially to our family, Harley, but you know you’ve already been in it for a while now.” I smile as she puts her arm around me and kisses my cheek. “Here, let me help.” She takes one of the plates from me, and I point out everything I want her to put on there. “I’ll take it over to Rosie.” She kisses my cheek again, and I turn my head.
“Here’s another plate for you, son.” Knox hands me another plate and pats my back. I thank him and start filling it as well and finishing Pearl’s plate.
I walk quickly back to my girl, setting our plates down and kiss her as I sit down. She smile and tells me thank you then starts eating. I watch her for a minute as she eats knowing she hasn’t been eating much, and it fills my heart to see her finally having a little appetite. It’s more than I could hope for looking around, everyone eating, talking, laughing and having a great time. Midway through our meal, Knox stands and taps his champagne glass with his fork. I smile at Pearl and take her hand, holding it up and kissing the top, then keep it close as we turn our heads and look at him.
“I want to thank everyone for coming on such short notice but when my girl sets her mind on something, there’s no stopping her.” I look around as everyone laughs and holds up their glasses. I look up as he looks down at us, noticing he has Jade’s hand in his other one and becomes serious. “I know I speak for Jade when I say that we couldn’t be more proud of our daughter, Pearl and her love for others, her unselfishness, and always thinking of everyone but herself. Her love for this young man right here shows no bounds. Princess….” He looks at Pearl with such love in his eyes as well as tears, and I feel her hand squeeze mine. When I turn to look at her, she matches her love for her parents as tears fill her eyes. “We love you so much, more than our lives, without it, or life has no meaning. Okay, a little meaning as we have our son, Bo and his lovely wife Stormy.” Everyone laughs again but hushes quickly. He looks at me and emotions run rampant through me. “We’re not only proud to have a gained a wonderful son and a granddaughter but….” He turns out to the crowd of people and smiles. “We’re gaining another grandchild!” Everyone stands, drinks and cheers, a lot of people setting their glasses down on the tables and clapping. He walks behind Rosie and leans over, Pearl’s arms moving around his neck as he kisses her. They whisper something to each other and smile. He returns to his seat, and I lean over and give her a kiss. Then Jade rises and walks to her and they hug, laughing and giving each other a kiss then she sits back down.
“I love seeing you so happy, baby. And I love that you’re eating so much today. Your stomach feeling better?” She beams at me and kisses me back.
“Yes! Nothing will dampen our celebration today, my love.” She picks up her fork and starts to take a bite, but it freezes in midair at the sound beside her.
“Mama!” Rosie laughs, kicking her feet against her chair and giggles. I look around Pearl and smile nodding rapidly. “Mama!”
I look at Pearl’s shocked face, her eyes filling once again with tears and kiss the side of her head but looking at Rosie. “That’s my girl.” Pearl turns her head to me, her eyes still wide and the look of shock still on her beautiful face. I shrug my shoulders and smile. “I’ve been practicing with her all week. We wanted it to be a surprise. I thought she would blow it and say it before today.”
She turns and kisses our giggling Rosie on her cheek and then turns to me, throwing her arms around my neck and presses her mouth against mine. Our kissing becomes a little heated, and we stop as we hear a throat clear. Still with her arms around my neck, we turn to look and look over Rosie and see Bo standing, his glass in the air. Reluctantly, Pearl releases her hold and takes her glass, so I follow suit.
“Who knew when Harley came into Pearl’s life that we’d be here today. I didn’t.” Laughter ensues. He looks down at me and winks. “After being such a mysterious guy he turned out to be okay.” Laughter again and I roll my eyes but laugh. Then he looks at Pearl. “Sis, you did okay for yourself. Of course, it took you long enough.” She laughs and reaches around Rosie to try to smack him, but he laughs and moves a little out of the way. “Nah, seriously. Sis, I couldn’t be happier with your choice and I’m grateful that you finally have someone else to pick on instead of me, for once.” We all laugh as he walks behind the high chair and leans down whispering at her smiling face. “I’m so happy for you, sis. I love you.” She lets out an ‘Aww’ and then he kisses her forehead.
We continue to eat. The loudness of talking and laughter all around us, but I start growing anxious for our honeymoon and begin to think this may never end.
Chapter Eighteen
The food was great, the company unbeatable, and I’m so full but so happy that I could eat tonight. I had taken a pain pill before the wedding began, just in case, and only took a sip of champagne due to it as well as our baby. We’ve never danced together before, and I have to say, he’s a great dancer. I love being in his strong arms, his unique smell filling my nose, his soft hair in my fingers and the warmth of his hands on my waist. I’m so happy that I could burst, but I’m getting so horny, especially after last night, and wonder what we’re doing for our honeymoon. Dad and Bo planned it, so I’m a little leery. Dad, I trust, Bo? Not so much.
The sides of our faces are pressed together as we hold each other, our bodies swaying with the beat of the music, when Dad taps Harley’s shoulder. Harley kisses me and then takes my hand, placing it in Dads and as Dad releases my hand and put his arms around me, I put my hands on his broad shoulders and see Harley dancing with Mom. “Princess, I’m so proud of you.” I smile up at Dad. I look into his loving eyes, his tender face and I can feel his love as he holds me.
“I love you, Dad, so much.” I lay my head on his chest as we move around. When the song ends I look over as I hear a loud tap on a microphone and see Bo standing at the front with a big ass grin on his face. Oh, no!
“Attention! Thank you!” He laughs and Harley walks over, and I move my arms from Dad to around Harley’s slim waist. “We have two lovebirds here that I’m sure are anxious to start their honeymoon.” People clap all around us, and we turn our heads, smiling. “Dad and yours truly, have a great honeymoon surprise for you.” I look at Harley, roll my eyes and grimace. “Don’t worry! It’s safe! Trust me.” He laughs again.
“I’m glad Dad was involved! It’s YOU I don’t trust,” I laugh as I yell out to him. He rolls his eyes, his hand covering his heart as he leans back like he’s hurt. More laughter rings out around us, and Harley pulls me closer, kissing the side of my head.
“Ow! You wound me, sis!” I stick my tongue out at him and he laughs harder. “Okay, enough fun, go get changed and we’ll all meet you out front.” He puts the side of his hand up next to his mouth and yells out, “Once they’re gone then we can really get this party started!” Harley takes my hand, leading me towards the deck, and people are laughing, gently patting our arms and backs as we walk through the crowd.
We finally make it up to my room and his mouth is on mine
as he pushes the door shut behind him. We begin to undress each other as our lips remained locked but stop suddenly when a knock comes on the door. Really? Now? Harley reluctantly releases my mouth, takes two steps and opens the door. “WHAT?” he yells. Stormy startles but then starts laughing, entering through the doorway and pushing him aside.
“Sis? Oh! I have your bag packed over here,” she says a mile a minute as she walks to my closet and brings out a bag, setting it on the bed. She looks at Harley and gives him a cocky look. “Oh, yours is in there too. Knox and Bo packed yours. Good luck with that.” She turns around to me and brings me into her arms. “I love ya, girl. Take care and have fun.” She turns and starts to walk out but stops in the doorway. “Oh! Pete says don’t worry about anything. He’s got the bar covered for two days. Enjoy.” And with that she leaves, shutting the door behind her.
“Well,” Harley says standing there with his arms across his broad chest. “She can be quite the little whirlwind, huh?” I laugh, covering my mouth, and watch him walk into the closet, carrying out his bag and setting it next to mine on the bed. “Should I be worried about this?”
I walk over, slide my arms around his waist and kiss his lips. “I would be but for now? Let’s get dressed and get the hell outta here. Times a wastin’!” Well, I certainly didn’t have to tell him twice and barely got out the words when he pretty much strips in front of me, not helping my horniness whatsoever. I’m quick to follow, throwing on my nice silky shirt and matching skirt and run into the bathroom to brush my teeth and brush through my hair. Then I had to use the bathroom, in the worst way, as I’d been holding it for way too long. Harley grabs the bags, one under his arm, and the other in his hand and takes my hand practically pulling me down the hall and the stairs and out the front door. I’m almost pushed down the front stairs, but his arm goes around my waist holding me tight. I practically have to run to keep up with his quick pace. Once we’re at the limo, everyone’s yelling and cheering, and I’m almost shoved into the back seat, his body on top of me in an instant and his tongue in my mouth. I’d laugh, but I’m so horny for him right now I don’t mind in the slightest.
I feel the limo move as Harley’s harder than hard cock is pushed inside me, not bothering to remove our clothes, he just pulled my panties to the side and rammed into me. “Ungh! Harley!” I scream as he thrusts faster, harder, and I can barely keep up with him but that doesn’t slow him down. He screams out my name before I scream out his, but we both lay there panting together as our passion is finally sated, for now.
He helps me sit up, grabs me a bottle of water from the mini fridge and one for himself, twisting the cap off mine and handing it to me. “God, I feel so much better,” he winks and takes a huge drink. I laugh as I drink and lay my head back against his shoulder.
“Damn, I needed that.”
His head snaps to me, worry marring his beautiful face and frowns. “You should have told me you were thirsty, baby. Don’t ever hold that back from me again. If you’re thirsty or need anything I want you to tell me immediately.”
I giggle and wipe the creases of his worry lines from his forehead. “Oh, babe. It’s not the water that I needed to quench my thirst.” His eyes widen as his face softens, and he kisses me quickly. “Oh! And by the way,” I lean into him, whispering in his ear, “I need you to make love to me now, slow, deep and tender.” I start to lean over, but my back hits the seat as he takes my water from my hand. His mouth is on mine, his hand returning to me and covering my breast. He makes slow, passionate love to me exactly like I wanted.
It seems like hours by the time we get to our destination, but I know it’s only been about a half an hour. My eyes widen when we pull up into a big circular driveway. Harley looks at me and smiles, then takes my hand as he opens the car door, helping me outside and walks me up to the front door. I turn around as Ralph brings our bags, setting them down on the wraparound front porch and hands Harley a key. “Enjoy, Mr. and Mrs. Sanders. Oh! And congratulations.” I keep ahold of Harley’s hand and take a step, kissing Ralph on his cheek. He bows, then turns, gets into the limo and drives away.
I’m turned around and lifted into Harley’s strong arms. His mouth on mine as he fumbles with the doorknob, then opens the door and carries me in. I look around once he releases my mouth. As he sets me down I gasp, my hand covering my mouth. There on a center table in the foyer is a large gold key, dangling from a huge, beautiful boutique of different colored roses, just like the ones at our wedding, in a gorgeous vase. I see a piece of paper on the marble table. I take Harley’s hand and walk there. I pick up a regular sized set of keys and pick up the note, reading it out loud.
Princess,
This is you and your new family’s special place. A wedding gift from your mom and me. We wish nothing but the best for you, Harley, Rosie and the little one inside of you. It’s in the name of Harley and Pearl Sanders. There also may be a little surprise in the garage.
Love,
Dad and Mom
Harley tugs on my hand, and the paper flies out of my grasp and onto the floor as I half jog to keep up with him. As he drags me through the cottage, I quickly scan the beautiful furniture, the decorations and barely peek inside the kitchen as we fly by. He leads me down a small hallway and opens the door at the end. He reaches around to flip on a light switch, and I gasp again. There, sitting in the huge garage, is a brand new SUV, complete with two car seats in the back seat. “Oh, my God, Harley!” He turns and kisses me quickly, his arms around me squeezing me tight until I need to get some much needed air. My stomach chooses that moment to growl, and he laughs against my mouth, turns off the light and shuts the door, leading me into the kitchen. Once he’s turned on the lights, he proceeds to the fridge, and I notice it’s full of food and drinks.
“You relax, baby. I’ll get us something to munch on,” he smiles as he starts rummaging through the contents in the fridge. I smile as I walk over to the back sliding door and unlock it. I can’t believe my eyes as I walk out onto the deck, the beach so close and the water so blue from the moonlight. I walk over to the rail, placing my hands there, and just look around at the beauty of it all. Soon I feel his loving arms around my waist, the warmth of his body behind me and I lean my head back against his solid chest and sigh.
“It’s so beautiful.”
“Yes, it is.” My head turns and rises to see his eyes glaring at me and mine fill with tears. I turn in his arms and wrap mine around his shoulders and kiss his full lips.
“I have everything I ever wanted now. Loving family, great friends and the love of my life in my arms,” I whisper as I stare into his gorgeous eyes. My stomach growls again, and I laugh but am pulled by my hand to the table and made to sit down.
“You need to eat, apparently,” he chuckles. I look around the table at the amazing food he brought out and we both begin to eat. He stops and looks at me. “I can’t believe how lucky I am. First, you fell in love with me. Second, I got my daughter back. Third, you said I do and fourth, we’re having a baby and your parents ROCK!” I laugh until his face hardens, and I start getting worried.
“Harley, what is it?” He gives me the saddest look that I just want to hug him and comfort him.
“You’re gonna leave me,” he whispers.
I put my napkin on the table, stand and walk over to him, sitting down on his lap as he turns. Grabbing both sides of his face, I make him look at me and search his eyes. “My darling love. No one knows how long we are to be here on earth but while we are, we live life to the fullest. We love and support each other and make each day, each moment, count.” I pull his head down until my chin lays on top of his head and rub his back. “I know this has all just hit us like a ton of bricks and it’s so unfair, but I just want us to be together, to be happy for as long as we can.” I lean back and he moves his head back only enough that we can look into each other’s eyes. “We have so much to look forward to together. Rosie said ‘Mama’, we just got married….” I take his hand and plac
e it on my stomach. “We have a new life to bring into this world, a baby who was made from you and me and….” I lean down and kiss his lips softly, then move back again. “We have a honeymoon to begin.” My eyebrows wiggle as I try to get the mood lighter.
He laughs and rubs my tummy. “You’re right. I don’t mean to be a downer but….” He looks into my eyes and his chin quivers. “I guess I’m scared.”
I wrap my arms around him as he does me and we hug tightly. “I am too,” I whisper.
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
“Damn, I love to watch you eat!” I can’t believe how much food she’s put away since we got here last night.
She looks up at me, fork piled with pancakes, and laughs. “Well, you made me work up quite an appetite last night, twice, and once this morning. By the way, did you see anything in either bag for me to wear other than tank tops and shorts? I thought maybe a nice sundress would have been nice for a change.”
I give her my best smirk. “Well, talk to your sis in law, she’s the one that packed your stuff, maybe she didn’t think you’d be wearing any clothes this weekend and quit calling your Mom every half an hour to check up on Rosie. She’s fine. She couldn’t be in better hands.” I take a huge bite of my pancakes and wash it down with a glass of milk.
