His mind went where I wanted it to go. I loved the fact that a man like him was so turned on by me. It had been months since he had touched me, but neither one of us had forgotten the other. I knew that I hadn’t and by the way he looked at me then, I knew that he hadn’t as well. He remembered quite well and so did I. That was what pushed me on, giving me the courage to go after what I wanted.
“Yes, it seems like you went through an awful lot of drama for me. I was thinking that maybe I could do something for you?”
I lifted up and straddled his thighs. I could feel the captured hardness underneath me and luxuriated in the groan from below. “Can you think of anything that you would like me to do for you? Anything that would make you feel better?”
His hands instantly went to my hips and crushed me down on top of him. I gasped at the pressure exerted on my mons. It felt like he was trying to rip through the clothing to get to me and I had to giggle from his exuberance. “Take your bottoms off or I am going to.”
I stood up over him and got undressed as quickly as I could in that situation. He was looking at me with those dark eyes and I was unable to stop the need that filled me. God, I wanted him so badly and there wasn’t a reason to stop myself now. I had wanted him since the next morning after the wedding. I had told myself that he wasn’t good enough, too rough, but in the end he was exactly what I needed.
His glare darkened when I pulled my panties off. All of the bravado that I had before was dissipating rather quickly. When his hands tried to pull me down, I sidestepped him so that he couldn’t take control. I wanted control, or I wanted to pretend that I was in control for a little while at least.
“Come here Carol.”
I lowered myself back down on him and rubbed against him, pushing myself down to his hard body. I was ready, maybe as ready as he was, but I wanted to draw it out. Leaning down I kissed him and he grabbed my hips, pressing me down harder on him.
Finally David lifted me up enough to get one of his hands between us and started pulling on his jeans. The zipper moved and then the fabric gave way to what it was that he wanted. When I moved back down on top of him, he slid inside of me and we both stopped. David had been pushing for me to go faster moments before, but now he was watching me like a hawk. It felt perfect to have him inside of me again, like he was made for me.
The further down I sat, the more stretching I felt. He was so thick that it was hard to maintain my composure. He just felt too good.
“God, I have missed this.”
I had to, but I didn’t agree with him. Instead I started moving slowly, ignoring the pleasure rippling through my body with each movement. I was barely moving on top of him and I was overwhelming myself with his length. Slowing down, I could feel the way his scratchy hair rubbed against my clit. I didn’t have to do much of anything but squeeze and slide on him just a little to push myself to the edge.
Calling out his name, my eyes closed to the wave of pleasure and I whimpered when I felt him grab my hips, grinding me down. He pulled out almost all the way and slammed back into me, making me cry out even louder. This time we weren’t at a wedding and I was able to make all of the noise that I wanted. And I did, for a long time as he surged in over and over again from the bottom.
“Kiss me Carol.”
I did as he asked, not even thinking about who had control anymore. It was painfully obvious that it wasn’t me. When I moved down to kiss him, I just pressed more of him inside of me, feeling him bottom out in my depths. I whimpered into his mouth as we kissed.
“Put your arms around my neck.”
Again I just complied. I didn’t have enough brain power to do much more than that. Another wave of pleasure crashed over me and I was lost to it all. I could feel my body wanting to collapse, not caring who was underneath me.
“I can’t David.”
It took too much energy to come like that and I literally didn’t have the power to keep going. He was still pumping me from underneath, but I was no longer helping him or meeting his thrusts. I just couldn’t. Breathing was too much to focus on at the same time. He was too much and I collapsed on top of him.
“You don’t get out of it that easily Carol.”
Flipping me onto my back, it felt like he never even left me. So quickly he was back on top of me and back inside of me. It felt instantaneous. It felt so right.
David propped by calves up on his shoulders and I jerked with the new depth of the move. He was relentless, deep, hard and fast. This was the man I remembered, the one that had made sure that I never forgot him. How could I?
“Look at me Carol.”
He was full of commands, while I just hung on for dear life. I moved my gaze to him. He looked so determined and I moved to touch his face. He was more than just a one night stand. David had become my savior.
“I’m looking at you David. But not for long.”
Another wave of pleasure went through me and without him even slowing down, he prolonged it until my hands were trying to push him off of me. I was coming so hard it physically hurt.
David said my name, making my eyes open. We locked gazes about the time he made one last thrust forward and stopped. The hot need from him was scorching to my bruised insides. I whined with the sting and tried to move away, but he wasn’t having it. David wasn’t done with me yet, even if I was done.
“That was one hell of a thank you Carol.”
He was throbbing and jerking inside of me, making me gasp and hiss. It took me a couple of moments to answer him. “Just wanted to make sure that it was proper.”
“Not proper at all, just the way I like it. I have wanted to do that as soon as I got back to Chicago. I have thought about you a lot the last few months.”
“I have thought of you too.”
“You didn’t seem too eager when I came to see you before. Going on about a boyfriend.”
“Things change.”
“Why, because the suit was the one that went crazy?”
“No, I think it is because I realized that I love being with you. I don’t know why this works, it shouldn’t, but it does. We are so different, but maybe that is the way it is supposed to be.”
Chapter 15
David
“Lucas will see you now David.”
Marcus looked a little nervous, but I wasn’t going to take his cue. After everything that I had been through, there wasn’t much of anything that I was actually afraid of. The only thing that I was afraid of was to lose what I had. Carol was mine and I couldn’t fathom losing her, not for anything. It had been almost a week that I stayed over at her place and even less time that we were actually out of bed. She didn’t want me to go and that was reason enough for me.
I moved into the room that Lucas used as an office. Last meeting was done in one of his establishments. This time it felt more secluded and I still didn’t know if that was a good thing or a bad thing. Was I just walking into another trap because of what I had done to one of his men? I knew it was a possibility.
“Thanks for seeing me Lucas.”
“It has been hard to get a hold of you. I was looking for you a week ago.”
“Had to get back in fighting form, so I took a couple of days off.”
“I think you were doing fine when you got out of the hospital. It doesn’t seem like you took much time before you were out in the streets causing mayhem.”
He was talking about Leo and everything that had happened with him. I wasn’t going to tell him everything that happened, but I knew that Marcus had. He worked for Lucas after all, not me.
“Had to take care of a few things. Up north we like to retaliate right away.”
“I have always liked to let someone sit and stew a little while first.”
“I guess I don’t have the patience for all of that.”
“No, I guess you don’t.”
I wasn’t sure if he was mad or not. It didn’t seem like he was, but I couldn’t tell. I didn’t know Lucas, about as much as he didn’t know me. At the e
nd of the day, I had made things harder for him when I got rid of his men. It had to be done, that much I know, but I had to wonder if there would have been a better way. I should have talked to him first before I started stomping heads, but it was too late for that now.
“Have you thought about my offer?”
“I didn’t know if it was still on the table.”
“Why, because of what you did to Leo, Brauns, Keith and Javone?”
“There was a couple more.”
Lucas chuckled. “Yeah, but they aren’t with me, so they don’t count.”
“Oh.” What else was I supposed to say?
“Yes the offer is still on the table. Leo was on his way out and the rest weren’t much help. I need someone like you more than I need someone like them.”
“Good, then I will take it.”
“Are you going to be able to abide by my rules?”
“What are they?”
“Pretty standard, but one that you might have a problem with is coming to me first before making a big play like that. You caused a lot of damage and I don’t want the cops sniffing around. We like to keep things quiet.”
“It was brought to my door, so I had to take care of it.”
“You should have come to me first.”
I nodded my head in agreement. I knew that I should have, it was a sign of respect, but I couldn’t. “Things happened pretty fast and I didn’t think about it.”
Lucas sat back in his seat. “I just don’t want a rogue man working for me. We do things together and you get my okay.”
“I don’t see that happening again.”
“After what you did to them, I think not.” He was smiling and I was going to take that as a good sign. The last thing I wanted to do was make him angry. He was the boss of a big gang, not someone that I wanted against me. It had turned out the best way that I know how.
“I just did what I had to.”
“No, I heard about it all. Marcus has never been one to get spooked.”
“I spooked him?”
Lucas looked towards the closed door. “Yeah you did. He is my nephew and I want him to be fearless, but I did tell him some fear is good. It keeps us alive.”
I didn’t know what to say. Lucas was getting off topic and before long we were back to the job that I had agreed to. It wasn’t that hard to figure out what it was he wanted me to do. He wanted someone to get their hands dirty for him and I have never had a problem with that.
“You do for me, what you did for you and I will make you a wealthy man. I know that having you around, things are going to change pretty quick.”
“Are you having troubles?”
“Marcus tries, but he needs someone with him, someone that can teach him a thing or two.”
“That is what you want me to do?”
“You already are and you have some integrity. That is who I want my nephew working with. It would be good for both of us. You get a bigger piece of the pie and Marcus gets what he needs to one day take over for me. Everyone wins.”
We shook hands on the deal and though he wanted to sit and drink a while, I had another place to be that was calling to me.
“Where are you off to in such a rush?”
“Got to go see my girl.”
Lucas’ brow went up. “Is this the one that you tracked down and saved on that boat?”
He did know everything and I groaned a little. Carol was my weakness and I didn’t want everyone to know that. It would put her in danger and make me look soft. Both of those options are dangerous.
“Yeah, that’s the one. Some women are hard to forget.”
Lucas nodded and smiled to himself. I had a feeling that he had a woman in his life that he couldn’t shake either. Sometimes that was just how it was supposed to be and I knew that there was a reason that I had met Carol. I didn’t believe in fate, but with her, it was hard not to. She was the one for me and no matter what happened next, it would be okay if she was by my side.
THE END
FOREVER MINE: A BAD BOY NEXT DOOR ROMANCE
“She was a girl from my past. The girl of my dreams and I wasn’t going to rest until she was in my arms again”
BLURB
The moment I saw her, I thought she looked familiar.
The woman moving in next door looked like someone that I had known a long time ago, but Angela wasn’t around here anymore.
She moved during our senior year.
She never said good bye.
She was the only person that had ever broken my heart.
When I found out that it was the old love that had hardened me, I had a plan to get her back. I knew how to get her where I wanted her. She wanted sex as much as I did and I knew just how she liked it.
Angela was even prettier than before. Her blue eyes called to me from day one and now I was unable to ignore it. I had to make her mine once again. It was fate. She was right next door and there was nothing to stop me.
She would fall for me again. I would make her beg for it as she had so many times before. I was going to make her feel it all over again and then I was going to bounce, just like she had done to me.
But could I turn away, once I had her back in my arms? Could I ever walk away from her as she had to me?

Chapter 1
Marcus
This woman was going to be the death of me. I didn’t want to argue with her anymore. All I wanted to do was get her to leave. She refused though. It was like she wanted to see how far she could push me and I wasn’t sure what was going to happen when she did. I had reached my limit after about an hour into this latest argument. I am not even sure what it was about anymore.
“I told you that I didn’t have anything to do with him Marcus.”
“And I told you that I didn’t care. It doesn’t matter what you say, I have heard it all from everyone else. I know what you did at the party and it doesn’t even matter anymore. I could go stomp his head in, but you know what, he can have you because you are just not worth the trouble.”
She was crying. Melissa was always crying and most of the time it would upset me to see her that way, but today I had no mercy. I wanted her to leave and this was becoming more than I was willing to deal with. Women were so much more complicated because I couldn’t handle it like I wanted to. I wanted to throw her out, but this was not to be.
“You are willing to throw this all away, everything that we have made together?”
I wasn’t sure what she was talking about, but I was done with it. “Yes, I want to end this. You need to leave. I packed your stuff while you were gone. It’s by the door. I don’t want to talk about this anymore.”
I had tried unsuccessfully to end the conversation several times, but it was like Melissa just didn’t want to hear the truth. It was over and she was going to have to get used to the idea. It was her fault for cheating, but it was my fault for even letting her move in. I don’t know what I was thinking and now I was paying for it.
“You can’t just walk away.”
I turned to her with my hand on the door. “Yes I can. Watch me. You need to be gone when I get back Melissa.”
She yelled something at me and I heard glass crashing and breaking against the door. I didn’t want to know what it was that she had thrown. I told myself that I didn’t care. I was going to have a hell of a mess when I came home, but as long as I was alone, that would be alright with me. If that didn’t work, I could always just bring home another woman just in case. Then it would be impossible for her to not get it.
I smiled at the neighbor that was taking groceries in and he kind of grinned at me. “How are you doing Marcus?”
Melissa was still yelling in the house behind me and I was surprised at how loud she was. “Good, how are you?”
“Getting some meat for the barbeque. Are you coming?”
“When is it?”
“Tomorrow. It’s Anise’s birthday.”
“I will try to come by.”
&nb
sp; “You bringing Melissa?”
We both looked towards the house that could have been in the middle of an exorcist as far as I was concerned. I didn’t want to bring her and by the look on my neighbor’s face, he didn’t want me to either.
“No, she is moving out today.”
“And you are leaving?”
“Yeah, I can’t take it anymore.”
“You know she is going to trash your house.”
I sighed and I could hear something else breaking in there. “Yeah, I know. It is going to be worth it if she is gone when I get back.”
He nodded like he understood, but I didn’t know if he did. Kevin and his wife never argued. I had lived next to them for several years and not once had I heard any kind of yelling and screaming like what was going on at my house at the moment.
“Sorry about this.”
“No problem Marcus. We thought that she was the one for you. I think this is the longest one to stay.”
I didn’t need the reminder. I should have kicked her out a while ago, but something would happen that would rope me back into her. Not this time though. I was determined not to let it happen like that this time.
“Nah, not the one for me. I don’t think that there is one for me Kevin. I think there is a right-now girl out there with my name on her.”
“Well we got someone new moving across the street.”
I looked to the empty house that he was talking about. My luck it wouldn’t be anyone that I would want as a neighbor. Several families and individuals had come and gone. There was no telling who would be next.
“How do you know?”
“Anise signed them up and took the deposit for the electric. She told me when she got home last night.”
I shrugged, not really caring. I was too worried about getting the woman out of my house before I worried about anyone else moving in.
“Hope they aren’t as uptight as that last family. I thought that the cops were just going to stop answering that woman’s calls.”
