Jase squeezed her gently against him. “You know that we love you, and you have to know that we want nothing more than to claim you as out mate, but we have to be sure that it’s something you want as well.”
Parris felt both men tense as they waited for her to answer. Damn her men might be stronger than most, and when it came to most things, had confidence to spare. But in this they were nervous. Silly wolves. “Oh, hell yes, that is most definitely something that I want—more than anything. But I want us to wait.”
Rhys sat back, a look that clearly said what the hell on his face. “Wait? Why?”
Jase sighed behind her, and she knew he understood. “Because she wants it to be because it’s the right and natural time for us to complete that step and not in response to a medical condition that it can help with. I can understand, sweetness, I really can. But you need to know that it is going to happen, and it is going to happen soon. My wolf will accept nothing else.”
Parris nodded. “I don’t want to wait years, I just want…well, I want it to be…”
“Special.” Rhys finished for her, understanding shining in his eyes. “You want it to be special, and so it will be. We will never claim another woman in our lives. You are it for us, so it makes sense that it be special, something for all of us to remember and regale our kids with the story for years to come.”
Parris felt a ember of need that had existed in the depths of her soul flame to life. The thought of having children had never been something she thought she could entertain, but now she wanted them. With Jase and Rhys, she wanted them badly.
Rhys boyish smile matched the glint of happiness in his eyes. “Man, today had to have been one of the best on record. We get the news that there is a way to heal you, and it’s the claiming bite. The only thing that would have made that news any better was if Chris had said that the way to remove the dangers associated with those damn things was to have continuous wild, crazy monkey sex for the next three weeks.”
Parris laughed and behind her she heard Jase chuckle. “That definitely sounds like a cure for anything that ails you, brother.”
“Damn right it is!”
Rhys high-fived his brother above her, and Parris rolled her eyes despite the grin she couldn’t suppress. Rhys suddenly pressed a hand to his forehead, and he winced.
“And I think I am feeling a little poorly right now.”
Parris looked up at him through narrowed eyes. “Oh, really?”
Jase suddenly coughed like he was hacking up a lung and Parris couldn’t help the giggle that escaped. “It must be catching, sweetness.”
Jase gave another fake cough behind a closed fist, but Parris spotted the smile he was hiding at the same time.
“I’m certainly feeling a little worse for wear, right now. Maybe we should put Rhys’s cure all to the test.”
Now, Parris could have called them on their shit, but she wasn’t crazy. “I think you might be right.” Taking the initiative, she pushed up and slammed her mouth to Rhys’s, pressing against his shoulders until he got the hint and lay back on the bed and pulled her up and over him. She tangled her tongue with his, clashing together in a sensuous dance of need that had her arousal building within her. She pulled back, gasping great gulps of air, and looked between the heated gaze of the two men she loved more than anything.
“I have something I want from you both.” Her voice was deeper than it had ever been before and held a strong note of need to it.
“Anything,” Jase and Rhys both said at the same time and without hesitation.
Parris sat up on Rhys, biting her lip at the hot hard feel of him sliding against her back entrance. The sharp zing of awareness and pleasure that move created had her eyes sliding closed and moaning slightly.
When she opened her eyes after a deep breath, both her men were staring at her, their eyes flickered a little blue as their wolves came to the surface. She brought out the wild side in her men, and she loved it!
“I love you both, so very much”—Parris felt her heart stutter at the look of utter devotion that swept across their faces—“and I already feel claimed by you both. You both have my heart. And I would very much like you both to take my body, together at the same time.”
Heat flared on Jase’s gaze. “You want me to take your ass, sweetness? That is what you are asking for isn’t it.”
Rhys groaned, and she felt his cock twitch against her, reigniting the sparks of pleasure that emanated from her back entrance. Panting slightly, Parris nodded. “Yeah, that is exactly what I want. Please.”
Jase swept in so fast he was a blur. He lifted his hands up into her hair, gripped it tight in his fist, and held her head steady as he stared intensely into her eyes. “Fuck, Parris. You have no idea how much you slay me. You ask me so sweetly for something I would fucking drop to my knees and beg you for.”
Parris whimpered when he slammed his lips against hers. She wanted to tilt her head to claim his mouth as he claimed hers, but he held her still. Her pussy gushed at the display of dominance.
Rhys growled, and Parris felt his fingers tense on her hips. “Jesus Christ! She is so fucking wet. I felt her sweet pussy gush against me. Hurry the fuck up Jase, I need to get inside her now.”
Jase thrust his tongue into her mouth one last time before he suddenly pulled back and stared intently into her eyes. He searched her face for a few seconds and then grinned at her. “Rhys won’t stop whining until he gets inside you, sweetness. It’s annoying, so you had better do as he whined.”
Parris gave a breathless giggle as she rose up on her knees.
Rhys’s hand came off her hip, and he shot his brother the bird. “Fuck you, Jase, you’re not the one lying here feeling her beautiful pussy clench against him, feeling—fuuuuccckkk!”
Rhys clenched as Parris worked her hips in quick, circular flicks, taking him to the hilt within her. His hand shot back to cradle her hip, and he urged her to ride him, helping to lift her up and down on his hard cock. The feeling was not unfamiliar. She had loved her men as much as possible over the weeks she had been with them, but each time it was like the first. The emotions and the intense pleasure they were able to stroke within her had her whimpering.
Leaning forward, she placed her palms against Rhys’s chest and whipped her hips in quick up-and-down movements, slamming herself onto him and making them both groan.
“Just a little cold, sweetness,” Jase said from behind her.
As her pleasure-wracked brain began to try and decipher what he’d said, she felt a cold wetness being applied to her back entrance. She had always thought that the coolness of lube would be distracting or potentially a turn-off. She was very much mistaken. The contrast of the cool lubricant against the heat of her body made her shiver. Added to the feeling of Jase running is fingers over the tight ring of muscle there and then pressing to gain entrance, Parris was shuddering with anticipation.
“Okay, baby.”
Jase’s voice sounded slightly clipped from behind her, and she could tell he was fighting to remain in complete control.
“Lean forward a little and let Rhys take your weight. Yes, oh fuck yes, arch your back just like that.”
Parris let her head drop back arching her back even further when Rhys leaned up took as much of her breast into her mouth as he could.
“Oh God!” She whimpered as Rhys swirled his tongue over her sensitive nipple. She almost missed the moment when Jase placed the head of his cock against her back entrance.
Jase slid his hands down her back and placed them on the firm globes of her ass. “Okay, sweet girl, push out against me as I push in.”
Parris did as he asked but couldn’t help tensing up as Jase slipped slightly inside of her. The feeling was foreign, and the slight burning sensation had her catching her breath.
“Damn it, Parris,” Jase said through gritted teeth. “Sweet girl, I don’t want to hurt you, you have to relax, or this ends. I fucking refuse to hurt you…”
Parris sobb
ed as she fought her reaction. She wanted these men, and she wanted this she really did. But she couldn’t get out of her head enough to do what Jase was asking. Jase cursed and Parris sobbed as she felt him beginning to move away from her.
“Stop!” Rhys yelled from beneath her, and Parris dropped her gaze to his. “Jase, just give her a minute.”
She felt Jase tense and tremble slightly behind her, but he held still, not withdrawing from her completely. “Parris, I know this is what you want, but you have to take that final step, baby. There is no other shoe about to drop. What you feel and what you have with the two of us is real, and as much as it is everything to you, it is very much everything to us. Relax and let us take you, baby, trust us. We will not let you fall.”
And just like that, Parris felt all her apprehension fall away. It was as if Rhys had found the key that unlocked a section of herself that she had held away from every other person in the world. She had never been loved, abandoned by her family, imprisoned, tortured by a madman, and had lived with a death sentence over her head for many years. But she had never given her trust to anyone because no one had never earned it. Rhys and Jase had.
Parris took a deep breath, and as she exhaled she let all the tension flow out of her body flow out with it, and she let go, sighing into complete relaxation. When she released the tension in her legs, she slid back a little. Jase was still holding himself taut, and she felt his cock slide farther into her until she felt its entire head within her.
“Shit!” Jase forced out between gritted teeth, and she felt him push farther into her. “Goddamn it, woman! You feel so fucking fantastic. Hot and tight around my cock. Keep pushing out love, fuck, you are doing so well. That’s it, oh shit baby, you have all of me, and you look so fucking hot taking me like this.”
Parris rolled her hips a little. Her lovers took the cue and both began to move within her. Parris stayed as still as possible, allowing Rhys to lift up and slide into her pussy at the exact moment Jase slid home into her ass. The feeling was so fucking amazing. She felt full and connected to them both on a level she had never known before.
Soon, the buildup of pleasure and the movement of the three of them coming together was too much to hold their rhythm steady. Both of them began to lose their rhythm until they were both slamming into her. Vaguely Parris heard a keening sound in the room and was slightly shocked when she realized the sound was coming from her. Every erogenous zone within her felt like it was connected to the place where Rhys and Jase were claiming her with their bodies.
“Please,” she sobbed,” please!” She had no idea what she was asking for, but she needed it, and she needed it now. Jase must have understood because he quickly reached around her and pressed his finger against her clit, and that was all it took. Her orgasm crashed over her and she shook wildly, completely out of control. She arched her neck and screamed her pleasure at the world at large.
As her entire body began to float away, and she felt wrapped within a blanket of sensual sensation, she heard her men fill the room with the sound of her name, and she gave herself over to the heated dark pleasure her men always evoked in her when they took her.

The next morning, Parris couldn’t stop the smile that kept popping up. It was a rainy Saturday morning, and she and her men were playing it lazy today. The three of them shared small, knowing smiles, lingering gazes, and sweet, wet, hot, kisses all day.
They had climbed out of bed late that morning, after a night of loving that had Parris’s body heating at the memory of it. She had lost count of the number of times she had been awoken by one or both of her mates for some loving. Hell, she had reached for them on more than one occasion herself, so this morning’s lethargy and the delicious ache she was experiencing were as much her fault as they were theirs.
“Here you go, baby,” Jase said and then leaned down to kiss her as he placed her lunch in front of her. All day they had been treating her like a goddess, and if truth be told, she loved every minute of it!
Rhys came to the breakfast bar carrying a plate for him and Jase. The three of them were laughing and arguing over what movie they were going to watch that afternoon when there was a quiet knock at the door. All three of them looked at it in surprise. They hadn’t heard anyone on the pathway that led to the house, and Parris was used to them going to the door before a visitor even had the chance to knock based on their heightened shifter senses.
Jase frowned as he scented the air. “I get nothing. Rhys, you?”
Rhys repeated the move and at the shake of his head, the two of them moved swiftly and silently from their chairs. Rhys moved to stand in front of her, and Parris rolled her eyes at him, despite the spread of warmth his protective move inspired.
Jase stepped silently across the open planned lounge and approached the door, just as a second tentative knock sounded. Jason stepped up to the side of the door, pulling the curtain from the window to look at whoever stood on the other side of the door. Jase tensed at what he saw and shot a quick look back at her. Then he muttered a curse and moved quickly to open the door.
Parris gasped as figure fell through the door and into Jase’s arms in a flurry of red curls that she recognized immediately. Jase gently lowered her to the ground. Spinning out from behind Rhys, Parris crossed the room at a dead sprint and fell to her knees beside the woman.
“Pepper,” she sobbed as she reached out to sweep the matted hair blood soaked hair that had fallen across her forehead. “Oh God, Pepper, please be okay.” She gently took her arm, shocked by how cold to the touch her skin was. There was a cut on her hairline that was bleeding steadily. Placing her hand gently across Pepper’s wrist, Parris waited a few anxious moments when she felt nothing against her fingertips.
“Brendan and Cody are on their way,” Rhys muttered from beside her as he placed a blanket over Pepper’s still form.
Parris didn’t answer, not even breathing until she finally located the thump of her pulse that told her Pepper was still alive. The pulse was frighteningly slow and weak, and judging by her shallow breathing, she was in a bad way.
Paris leaned closer to the prone woman. “Pepper, can you hear me, little sister? It’s me, Parris. I am right here, right beside you.” No response came, and Parris felt an ache begin in her chest. She clasped Peppers cold hand and lifted it to her chest, gripping it with both of hers. “You’re safe with me, Pep. I’ll keep you safe. You’re free, Pepper. You are free.” Parris felt a gentle squeeze of her hand.
Chapter 11
“How in the hell do you think that small slip of a woman, made it all the way to Grey River by herself?”
Rhys’s voice echoed slightly in the hospital waiting room. Jase looked over at his brother, his heart melting at the sight of their mate asleep beside him with her head resting in Rhys’s lap.
Jase sighed, and he leaned back in the uncomfortable plastic chair he had been sitting in for the past three hours. “I have no fucking idea. From what Brendan and Cody were saying back at the house, it was a wonder she hadn’t passed out long before she made it to town.”
Brendan had listed a whole slew of injuries that they thought were consistent with her being in an automobile accident. Jase thought that if that were the case, then it must have been close by. If Pepper had managed to walk to them from the site of the crash, then it had to have been nearby. Her injuries and the near-unconscious condition she had arrived in pointed to that. Ty and Trent were doing everything they could to find anything that might give them a clue as to what might have happened.
Jase looked up as the door to the room swept open. Hunter, Dane, and Xanthe walked into the room, their faces filled with concern.
“Any news?” Xanthe asked hopefully.
Jase was about to answer when he heard his mate sigh before she sat up. “Nothing yet. All we know is that she had some internal bleeding that Chris needed to get stopped, and he wanted to set the break in her right wrist.”
Xanthe slumped slightly,
and Hunter wrapped an arm around her shoulder before leading her to one of the plastic chairs that faced Rhys, Parris, and him.
“Damn, I had hoped she would be awake and able to tell us what the hell happened. We haven’t heard a damn thing from Melaina, and it’s killing me not knowing.”
“Have you heard from the Reyes brothers?” Jase asked as he placed a comforting hand on Parris’s knee.
“No, and that is not fucking like them,” Hunter said, his frustration and concern clear in his voice. “Dane has tried to get a hold of them on all our usual channels, but nothing has come back. Ty and Trent can’t seem to reach Kyle or Grant either.”
Dane grumbled low in his chest, and Jase could make out the man’s lion quite clearly. “All of this is hinky as fuck. Hunter and I have decided that if we haven’t heard anything from them tomorrow, then the rest of our team is going hunting.” Jase nodded. He had figured as much. The Enforcer team they led was a tight group, that was for sure.
The six of them sat quietly for the next half hour, talking very little, waiting for word on a woman that might very well be the only person in Grey River with any answers to the myriad of questions they all had. Jase was about to ask if anyone wanted a cup of coffee when mariachi music began to play in the room.
Hunter stood up quickly, reaching for his cell phone. “That’s Diego!” Hunter swept his finger across the screen of the phone to answer the call and lifted the device to his ear.
“Talk to me, D,” Hunter practically snarled down the phone.
“We’re on our way into town.”
Thanks to his shifter hearing, Jase heard everything that he said. He also heard the strain and stress in his tone. Jase could hear both Dane and Rhys filling Xanthe and Parris in on what they could hear.
