Jon Tango was way past drunk. The bottle in his hand was empty he realized as he tried to drain the very last drops. In anger he threw it against a wall. Luckily it bounced off without shattering. The thought that Nina had left him and she wasn’t coming back entered his thoughts for the millionth time. Stumbling through his house he kicked several bottles across the floor. They were all empty. Just like his life without her. They were going to get married, Nina was all he ever wanted. Then she got a job with Lane Designers and she quickly forgot about him. Luther Lane had been the one to ruin it all for him. Every where he looked he could see her. The images flooding his brain making the room spin. Maybe that was the whiskey, either way he did not like the feeling.

Luther Lane had hired Nina and then given her that dream job in Paris. Jon would have waited for her, but no Nina did not want that. She did not want him waiting for her, because she did not plan on waiting for him. It was all that man’s fault. That man had filled his Nina’s head with dreams of doing big things. That man would pay and Jon was going to be the one to make it happen.

Luther Lane took away the only woman Jon would ever love and he was going to do the same for him. London Lane was going to be his revenge. The perfect daughter of that man. Said to be his most prized possession.

Jon was going to ruin her and make it public, it would be big news. Then he would be sure that Luther Lane understood that it was his revenge.

The bottle he had been looking for was on the dresser in his room. It was empty. Dropping it to the floor he made his way to the bed. The man barely made it before he passed out.

The hangover he woke up with was hell and he deserved it. The house was a mess and it bothered him. Calling in a cleaning service he started picking up the bottles. It was embarrassing the amount of liquor he had poured back after Nina left, but that was behind him now.

The truth that she was not coming back rang in his head. It fueled his desire for revenge. There was a plan forming and he needed to get it rolling.

London Lane made her way through the building where she worked. She loved this job more than anything. Her father had built his dynasty as one of the best fashion designers in the industry. It was in her blood. She spent a great deal of time in this building. The fabric room was her favorite place to be. Especially when a new shipment was coming in.

“Hey, London.” Matt waved to her as she passed. The security guard was good at his job and he was friendly. Everybody liked him. London smiled and waved back.

The fabric room was much like a warehouse with bolts of fabric in metal racks. This was where the imagination could roam. There were mannequin forms about the room and some were draped with fabrics.

“We still on for tonight?” Casey asked as she passed her friend. They had been planning this girls night out for months. Casey fell into step beside of her.

“Yes, did you ask Linda and Carrie?” London asked as the continued walking through the space. The four of them planned to go out on the town. It had been so long since they had been out and they all needed the break.

“They are in.” Casey said and veered off to walk down a aisle between two racks. London kept going she had been asked to her father’s office and so that was where she was headed. He was on the phone when she came in and so she waited.

“I have to go to Burbank tonight.” He said as he hung up the phone. London sat in one of the chairs facing his desk. This was not unusual.

  “Do you want to go?”

“I already have plans.” She said and watched as he shuffled through some papers on his desk.

“The Graham Gala and Benefit is in six weeks, we need to get some new designs out there. I think we are dressing Lonna Hughes.”

That name was huge, the woman was a famous actress and it was hard to get her. London smiled at her father.

“When will you be back?” She asked as she pushed a pile of papers back on his desk. The man was good at designing, not so much with the neatness.

“Tuesday.” Shoving some papers in his briefcase she waited. She saw him lift papers and move files around. She knew what he was looking for and smiled. When he looked at her she pointed to the top of his head. Reaching up on his head she watched as he pulled his glasses down and slid them on. London liked the familiar. She liked knowing what was going to happen and when. It helped with her anxiety issues.

Later that night London waited for Casey to pick her up. She knew that Casey was going to pick up the other girls first. There was a country bar that Carrie wanted to visit and they were all game. London knew that the bar was frequented by bikers but there was no need to worry about that now.

The parking lot was full and there were as many motorcycles as there were cars. It was exciting to think of meeting up with a bad boy and living on the wild side for a change.

The place was alive as they made their way inside. London was pulled behind Casey as she made her way to the bar. Linda and Carrie needed to go to the bathroom.

The dance floor was loaded with couples, the song was fast and fun. London could not keep the smile off of her face.

London watched as Casey was approached by a good looking guy and within seconds was following him onto the dance floor. That did not take long at all she thought, but she was okay with being left alone at the bar. A tall dark haired guy came up to her. He took the stool next to hers.

“Hello, Angel.” The guy had to be a biker. The black t-shirt that he wore did not hide the muscles underneath. London wanted to reach out and smooth her hand over his chest.

“Hi.” She said back and wondered what the tattoo that was just peeking out from under his sleeve was. She could only see the bottom of it.

“You new around here?” He asked as the bartender placed a shot glass in front of him. London watched as he paid and then downed the contents.

“Yes.” The bartender moved off so London brought her eyes back to his. The blue of his eyes was so clear. The man had a well groomed beard and she wanted to know what it would feel like. Instead she kept her hands on the top of the bar, linking her fringes together to keep them there.

“What’s your name?” London asked him, having to lean in a little so that he would be able to hear her. The action had the scent of him filling her nose.

“Whiskey.” At first she was not sure that she had heard him correctly.

“Your name is Whiskey?” Her question made him smile. She waited as he leaned in close to her ear. The music seemed to go up.

“My friends call me Whiskey.” So she had heard him correctly. He stayed by her ear a moment longer and she felt his breath on her skin.

“So does that mean I am your friend?” London asked her cheek almost touching his. What would that beard fee
l like against her face?

“Do you want to be my friend?” His voice went a little lower as he asked that question. She watched as he pulled away just enough to look into her eyes. London felt her world stand still. She could imagine herself as so much more with this man. Nodding she asked.

“Why do they call you Whiskey?” There was a reason behind it and she wanted to know. This time when he leaned in close he placed a hand on her upper arm. She felt the shiver all the way to her toes.

“I like whiskey.” That seemed plausible enough. “Do you like whiskey?” He asked as his lips brushed her ear.

“I have never had it.” She admitted and he pulled away from her a look of disbelief on his face.

“A whiskey virgin?” The look in his eye could be described as dangerous. He lifted his hand and the bartender made her way over, without a word she placed a shot on the bar.

“Toss it back.” Whiskey said pushing the shot glass into her hand.

“I can’t do that.” The smile on her face did not give away her nervousness.

“Yes you can.” The way he said it made her believe that she could. Slowly she lifted the shot glass and brought it to her lips. The smell of it assaulted her nose. He nodded and she tossed it back. The liquid was like fire as it went down. Slamming the glass on the bar she tried to swallow. Waving her hands was a wasted attempt to calm the heat. It was not working.

“Swallow.” His hand was on her chin and she shook her head from side to side. Her throat refused to allow any more of the liquid down. She reached for the shot glass, she had to get it out of her mouth. Whiskey brought his mouth to hers and forced her to open under his lips. He drew the liquid from her mouth and she had to admit it was the sexiest thing she had ever experienced.

“Can’t waste whiskey.” The words were said as an explanation and his face was mere inches from hers. She would have said something but he closed the distance between them and kissed her again.

This time his mouth was all over hers. Nipping her bottom lip, she had to admit that she liked it. The noise in the bar continued to grow and she wondered if that was the reason for the pounding in her ears.

“Let’s get you another one.” Whiskey said as he raised his hand to the bartender and she was right there giving him another one.

“I can’t.” London argued but she had to admit that there was not much of a fight in her.

“I think you can.” His words gave her the courage to lift the shot glass to her lips and tilt her head back. Again her throat screamed at her to stop, but this time she swallowed every drop.

“That’s my girl.” Whiskey said as he placed another of those sexy as hell kisses on her lips. London had to admit that she liked this bad boy and she wanted to enjoy this night.

“London.” Carrie called as she came up to stand behind her. London spun a little on her stool so she could face her friend.

“Have you seen Casey?” Carrie asked and London only shook her head.

“Linda?” Again she only shook her head. Whiskey was holding onto her arm and she wanted Carrie to move on. She wanted to go back to the man. Carrie turned and headed back out into the crowd of people.

Turning on her stool she came back to face Whiskey. The shot glass in his hand was being put back on the bar. He pushed another one in her direction. Shaking her head at him she smiled. The man only nodded at her and smiled back. That beard called her to touch it. Reaching out she did just that. It was short and soft. One of his brows went up and he dropped his eyes to the shot glass then back up to her eyes. Lifting the shot glass she turned it back. The fire was not as bad as before, but she did not think she could drink anymore.

Whiskey stood then and took her by the hand. She did not know where he was going, but she was being pulled along behind him. London hoped he did not want to dance, because at that moment her head was starting to feel funny.

Whiskey was not headed toward the dance floor. Instead he was headed for the door. She did not know what to do. Her mind tried to weigh her options. Should she go with him? Should she stop and stay in the bar? After all she did not know this man, sure he had drank whiskey from her mouth, but she did not know him.

Something inside her wanted to see what would happen, so she went with him. The night was still warm and she felt her feet slide on the gravel. Whiskey pulled her off to one side of the bar and then lifted her and sat her on an old whiskey barrel. The name of the bar was burned into the side of it.

Her arms went around his neck and his hands were on her waist. When his mouth covered hers she felt something inside of her. This man was so exciting. This kiss was more than she could have ever imagined. His hands moved up her sides and then around her back. She was being pulled against him and it was wonderful.

“Come home with me.” She heard his words but could not think. His mouth was on her neck and she arched her head back to give him full access. One hand found a breast and gave it a gentle squeeze through her shirt. She was ready to go with him anywhere.

She felt him press himself against her and she wanted him. How had he caused this to happen? She had never met someone that could awaken desire that fast.

“I can’t.” She did not want to give him the idea that she was easy. His mouth was making it harder to turn him down.

“Yes you can.” The words were soft as he moved back to her mouth. His hands came up to her face and then he had them buried in her hair. Whiskey was holding her still for his tender assault.

“Whiskey.” She needed to slow him down. Pulling back was not an option, he simply drew her mouth right back to his.

“Yes, Angel.” The kissing continued and she felt herself giving into him.

“I don’t do this kind of thing.” She did not want him to get the wrong idea. He was the only man that she had ever had these feelings for.

“I will respect you in the morning. Hell, I respect you right now.” The kissing continued and she felt herself reaching for him. Those arms of hers wrapped around his neck and she leaned into him.

“Ok.” London could not be sure if she said it out loud or not until he lifted her and headed for a truck in the parking lot. The man had her in that truck and he was driving them away from the bar. She asked herself what she was doing? But that thought was gone when he reached over and placed a hand on her thigh.

In his house the kissing continued. London did not have a chance to think it over. There was a bottle, they were drinking from it. Clothes seemed to just fall off and she was sitting on his lap on the couch in nothing but her underwear. His hands up and down her sides, she put the bottle to her lips and finished the last bit of it. The room seemed to spin as she brought her mouth down to meet his.

The man was holding her against him and she wanted to tell him something. Rolling her over put her on the couch under him. His hands were everywhere. She could not believe this was happening. This had to be a dream. The man pulled her up and led her through to his bedroom. When he pushed her back onto his bed she was glad.

The room was starting to spin and she needed to get some control of it.

Panties were sliding down her legs and she closed her eyes. The bra was gone next and she was under him. The man touched her everywhere, his mouth tasting her all over. London could not be sure that she was not going to pass out. The spinning in her head continued. Then he touched her and she arched up to him. She heard his groan and then she felt him on her.

The muscles in his arms were so tight. She waited, the excitement was about to be her undoing. Whiskey was kissing her and she tried to do what he was doing. The liquor was messing with her now and she wished she was not so drunk. There was a flash but she did not know what it was. Then he was on her and sliding up her body.

London could not stop the cry that escaped her lips when he pushed inside of her and he did not miss it. She had made it to twenty four and now she was no longer a virgin.

  TWO

The pounding behind her eyes made it almost impossible to open them.
Then there was a hand on her hip. It was moving over her skin. Opening her eyes caused them to hurt so she closed them back quickly. The hand was moving over her stomach and up to her breast.

“Are these real?” A voice said from behind her as a hand closed over her breast. London did not know what to say to that. The man did not seem to need an answer, he rolled her over and started an all out oral attack on her body.

“Whiskey?” London could not be sure if that was his name or not. She thought it was. He looked up to meet her eyes a breast in each hand.

  “Yes.”

“What happened?” London was still in a state of shock, or maybe that was the hangover.

“You were a Whiskey virgin.” Then his head dipped back down and he was kissing her between the breasts.

“Oh God.” There was so much in those words that she wished she could change. The man was moving up her and she felt him push her legs apart. Then he was sliding inside of her. She needed to stop him to make him get off of her.
