Pleasure floods me again, leaving me moaning and straining beneath him. There’s something so primal and unrestrained in the way he fucks me, like nothing else matters, and truly it doesn’t. I let out a helpless cry, my insides pulsing uncontrollably as my climax rocks me to the core. Landon groans, his eyes locked on mine. He comes with a harsh unrestrained groan, thrusting all the way inside me, as he spills himself hot and pulsing into me.
When he goes back to sleep. There are no more nightmares. I doze for a little while too, and when I get up, he’s still asleep. I take a quick shower and dress silently, careful not to wake him. He looks relaxed and almost at peace, and it’s excruciating to leave him lying there. But that’s what I have to do.
It only takes a few moments to gather my things. I take one last look at him before I walk away. I love you, I whisper silently. If we’re ever going to have a chance, then I have to let him find me. I have to let him decide if he can return my feelings.
If he can love me, he will find me.
I close my eyes, and steel myself, then I turn my back on him and walk away.
