“Are the attackers from that same S Grade faction?” Solomon asked.
“We are not sure but there is a high chance that it is. It seems that those five stole something from the D Grade faction that belonged to the Nebula Sect. Otherwise, the Nebula Sect wouldn’t have continued investigating the bloodbath for more than ten thousand years,” Heron said.
“Right from the start, they’ve wanted to capture all the higher-ups of both Family Clans alive. So, it can be assumed that it has something to do with them. They might want to find out from us the location of the stolen Treasure, since those five have been dead in the eyes of the public for around ten thousand years,” Heron added in a calm manner, but he was shaken up inside. He knew that only a Heaven Defying Treasure could make an S Grade faction so frantic. If the news regarding the Treasure were to spread, then even more S Grade factions would come looking for it, which might result in a very problematic situation.
“Did you not try to talk with any of the attackers?” Solomon asked.
“We tried but none of them had any intention of opening their mouths,” Heron said in anger.
“Do you people know anything regarding the location of the Treasure?” Solomon asked.
“They didn’t tell us anything before heading to Grandura except for leaving a package with me,” Herman said.
“What was in the package?” Solomon asked in an intrigued manner.
“I never opened it. I threw it into my Spatial pouch right after they left,” Herman said in a nonchalant manner.
Suddenly he had a realization - Heron and Solomon were no different. Herman felt like hitting his head on the floor at that moment.
“Quickly take it out,” Solomon said in an agitated manner. He himself wanted to smack Herman. He could see that the reason Sheldon and company had informed Herman about the bloodbath was because of the Heavenly Treasure. They’d most likely wanted to turn over the Treasure to Herman. Most factions of the Divine Universe would have rewarded anyone who did something like that, but instead his son had banished them from the Family Clan. He really had the feeling that Sheldon and company had left the Heaven Defying Treasure with Herman before they left for Grandura.
Herman quickly took out a package from his Spatial pouch. Its appearance was extremely ordinary: no one would suspect that it could hold a Heaven Defying Treasure that had made an S Grade faction so frantic that it was ready to wipe out two B Grade factions for it, without even considering its reputation.
Solomon immediately took the package from Herman’s hands and quickly opened it. It contained a grey-colored cube whose edges were around fifteen centimeters long. It was a Treasure-sealing container.
Treasure-sealing containers are used for Heavenly Treasures that emit a lot of aura or Elemental Energy. The Treasure-sealing container contains an isolated space, and when a Heavenly Treasure is placed inside that space its connection with the outside world is completely cut off, thus making it impossible for others to track it.
Solomon quickly opened the seals placed on the Treasure-sealing container. A powerful wave of Fire Elemental aura burst out of it. The temperature soared by millions of degrees within a few seconds.
Solomon’s, Herman’s and Heron’s facial expressions changed on seeing the power behind the wave of Fire Elemental aura. Soon after the first wave came out of the Treasure-sealing container, another wave of Fire Elemental aura surged out of it, and that was not the end. Wave after wave of Fire Elemental aura surged out.
Solomon, Herman and Heron quickly tried to contain the waves, but they were already a one step behind by the time they’d got into action. The first wave of Fire Elemental aura was only partially suppressed by them, and Heron’s residence was completely decimated by the time they could gain control over it.
They formed a triangular formation around the Treasure-sealing container as they directed the waves of Fire Elemental aura emerging from the Treasure-sealing container towards the sky. A Fire Elemental Aura Pillar was formed by their actions. That was only possible because of Solomon, as he was handling eighty percent of the pressure while Heron and Herman were handling ten percent each.
The Pillar attracted the attention of everyone on Radiant Divine World and the enemy faction outside the barrier in Outer space.
Aquila and company were looking at the Fire Elemental Aura Pillar with dazed expressions, as they were unsure what exactly had happened. Just a few moments ago they’d been in the palace, and the next moment they were a few kilometers away from it.
The mountain on which Heron’s palace existed was missing its upper half and they could see a Pillar made up entirely of Fire Elemental aura surging into the sky from there. Their expressions changed when they saw Solomon, Heron and Herman in a triangular formation around the Fire Elemental Aura Pillar. They quickly flew towards the Fire Elemental Aura Pillar to provide assistance.
The members of the Nebula Sect that were present in the Outer space around Radiant Divine World had drastic changes in their expressions, when they saw the Pillar entirely made of Fire Elemental aura piercing through the atmosphere of Radiant Divine World. The pillar extended for thousands of kilometers into Outer space, and it was releasing a terrifying aura which shook the hearts of everyone present in Outer space with fear. They quickly sent images of the Pillar to their Sect Head.
The Sect Head, on the other hand, was delighted as he could roughly guess its source. He decided then to personally make a trip to Radiant Divine World to retrieve the Heavenly Treasure, whereas previously, he’d only been thinking of sending a few of his subordinates to deal with the barrier around the Radiant Divine World and bring back the Artifact responsible for that.
Ch.9
Solomon, Heron, and Herman were not expecting something like that at all when they opened the Treasure-sealing container. This Heavenly Treasure was truly Heaven Defying in every sense.
If Solomon, Herman and Heron had not converted the Fire Elemental Aura surging from the Treasure-sealing container into the Fire Elemental Aura Pillar, then the entire Radiant Divine World would have been engulfed in the Fire Elemental aura and all living things would have burned to death.
Solomon had made an opening in the barrier that surrounded the Radiant Divine World to allow the Fire Elemental aura to escape into Outer space, otherwise the barrier would have shattered, which would have led to a big problem soon after.
“What exactly is sealed inside the Treasure-sealing container that has such a savage Fire Elemental aura?” Solomon, Heron, Herman and the rest couldn’t help but think. The Treasure had yet to be taken out, and it had already made such a big ruckus. The three of them could tell that this Heaven Defying Treasure definitely had sentience, as they could sense its rage via the Fire Elemental aura that was surging out of the Treasure-sealing container. And it was increasing with each passing second.
Solomon knew if this situation continued then things would become problematic. He could tell that the worst was yet to come.
“Let’s return this thing to its rightful owners,” Solomon said as a playful smile appeared on his face. Heron, Herman and the rest wanted to beat him up for behaving in such a playful manner during such a perilous situation, but they also liked his plan.
Both the Family Clans had suffered heavily under the assault from Nebula Sect. So, their reaction was something Solomon had expected.
In reality, from the start Solomon had never used his full power to suppress the Treasure otherwise he could easily have resealed the Treasure-sealing container again. Solomon flicked his finger and the Treasure-sealing container flew towards the sky at high speed. It soon escaped to Outer space and the Fire Elemental aura pillar also ceased to exist. Following its exit from Radiant Divine World’s atmosphere, Solomon then closed the opening in the barrier that he had made earlier on.
Boom!!!!
The Treasure-sealing container disintegrated and large quantities of savage flames started spreading in all directions. The flames were blue in color a
nd gave off a very sinister aura. It was clearly a Variant Evil flame. The barrier around the Radiant Divine World was also covered in blue flames, but they were unable to even leave a mark on it, as the barrier was impenetrable against attacks from the outside. That was not the case for attacks from within the barrier, though, which was the reason why Solomon had earlier made an opening in the barrier to let the Fire Elemental Aura Pillar escape to Outer space.
Unlike the members of the Eternity family and Heaven Sundering family, the members of the Nebula Sect were not that lucky. Two-thirds of their forces were burnt to death by the blue flames before the Heavenly Treasure disappeared into the void. The speed at which it escaped made even Solomon surprised. He’d not even been able to catch a glimpse of the Treasure that was sealed inside the Treasure-sealing container.
“It seems that I underestimated that Heavenly Treasure. It knew how to use the force generated from the explosion to its advantage to escape from my clutches. This shows its extremely high intelligence,” Solomon thought, as he looked into the void with a stunned expression.
Solomon had previously put a Sealing-chain on the Treasure-sealing container to avoid such a situation. The Sealing-chain would have restrained the Heavenly Treasure the moment it came out of the container, but then things hadn’t gone as Solomon had planned. The Heavenly Treasure had used the momentum from the explosion to escape the Sealing-chain. Solomon’s heart ached when he saw the Treasure disappear into the void, as he could tell that the Heavenly Treasure was definitely not normal.
Heron, Herman and the rest were looking at the entire scene with a shocked expression. Just the thought of that Treasure-sealing container exploding within the confines of Radiant Divine World gave them goosebumps.
Other than Herman, Heron and other members of the Upper echelons of the Main branches of Heaven Sundering Family Clan and Eternity Family Clan, the members of the Main branches both Family Clans were in a joyous mood upon seeing the members of the Nebula Sect die such violent deaths. In their view, the explosion caused by the Heavenly Treasure sealed inside the Treasure-sealing container was a powerful attack launched by Heron, Herman and the members of the Upper echelons of the Main branches of both Family Clans.
Heron, Herman and the members of the Upper echelons of the Main branches of both the Family Clans had twisted expressions, as they knew there was no chance of reconciliation with Nebula Sect now.
“The situation is bound to become quite problematic. They will come with their entire force to attack us next time,” Solomon said with a serious expression. He knew that Nebula Sect wouldn’t let them off now since so many of its members had died because of them.
“What do you suggest, Father?” Herman asked with a serious expression.
“Radiant Divine World has more or less been turned into a waste world, and it will take a very long time indeed for it to revert to its original state. I think it is best if all of you guys move to my Divine World,” Solomon replied thoughtfully.
“I don’t think that Nebula Sect will dare to launch a full-powered attack on my Divine World as it is located in Hell. Just being in Hell is extremely life-threatening, if you don’t have a strong backer from Hell itself, so I don’t think that they would dare to take such a risk,” he said.
“By the way, they should already know that we no longer possess that Heavenly Treasure which further reduces the risk of getting attacked anytime soon, though they will definitely try to take revenge in the future,” Solomon said as he looked at Heron, Herman and members of the Upper echelons of the Main branches of both the Family Clans with a serious expression.
They all sighed and nodded their heads in agreement one by one: they had no other choice. A big smile appeared on Solomon’s face on seeing their approval.
It was not that Solomon couldn’t deal with Nebula Sect, but he wished to use it to make his children stay with him.
The extent of Solomon’s powers was not known to anyone except himself.
“Good. Good. Good. Pack everything that is still worth taking. In the meantime, I will open a portal to my Divine World,” Solomon said in an excited manner.
--------------------------x--------------------------
The Estate in the Forest of Darkness was currently submerged in Murderous aura which made all the Elemental Beasts and other creatures that lived in its vicinity flee in fear.
The Living room was currently packed to the brim. All the inhabitants of the Estate were present there, even those who rarely came out of their Closed-door Cultivation sessions, including Sheldon and his four companions from the Main branch of Eternity Family Clan. Each and every one present in the Living room was releasing an intense amount of Killing intent and Murderous intent.
Oscar was telling them everything that Ryan had told him. Their Killing intent and Murderous intent grew with each word from him.
“This was what Ryan told me,” Oscar said as he looked at Sheldon and his four companions from the Main branch of Eternity Family Clan with a lot of expectation.
“It would be best if you could bring Shana here. Since we are currently banished from the Eternity Family Clan it wouldn’t look good for us to visit the Grandura branch of Heaven Sundering Family Clan,” a man sitting next to Sheldon said. He was one of Sheldon’s four companions from the Main branch of Eternity Family Clan. His name was Hague, and he had a kind-looking face which made others feel at ease around him. He was a Light Attribute Martial Artist.
The other three were seated at a little distance from Sheldon and Hague. They didn’t speak much, unlike Sheldon and Hague, but the Killing intent coming out them was already enough to reveal their mental state. Their names were Brian, Cenric, and Danr. Brian was a Darkness Attribute Martial Artist, Cenric a Water Attribute Martial Artist and Danr a Spatial Attribute Martial Artist.
“I will go and bring her here at the earliest then,” Oscar said as a smile appeared on his face. He turned into a blur and appeared outside of the Estate., where he quickly opened a Teleportation portal to Heavenly City before disappearing into it.
“What do you think the chances are of Ryan being correct?” Hague asked.
“That brat is abnormal. So, there is a high possibility of his being correct,” Sheldon said as a smile appeared on his face, and the four could not help but agree with him.
“Who would have the guts to make a move so brazenly on the Grandura branch of Heaven Sundering Family Clan?” Cenric asked as his eyes narrowed.
“We will come to know soon enough,” Sheldon said as he looked at Danr and asked him to create a Spatial Distortion Formation.
Smiles appeared on the faces of Sheldon, Hague, Brian, Cenric and Danr soon after. The others in the Living room didn’t know what a Spatial Distortion Formation was, or the meaning behind their smiles.
They all knew one thing though: that whoever had targeted Shana was in deep shit.
On Radiant Divine World, the Grand Elders and Elders who had been busy studying the Pillar that had created a barrier around the Radiant Divine World were somewhat more relaxed after seeing the annihilation of more than two-thirds of the Nebula Sect’s forces and the retreat of their remaining forces, but they didn’t slack off as they could see the energy in the Pillar depleting at an alarming rate. They knew that the future existence of both Family Clans depended on it.
Heron, Herman and members of the Upper echelons of the Main branches of both Family Clans went to make preparations for the move to Solomon’s Divine World. Solomon, on the other hand, appeared at a little distance from the Pillar. A smile appeared on his face as he saw the Grand Elder and Elders studying it in great detail. He slowly flew towards them, but they didn’t notice him until he was standing right next to them with a big smile.
“So, did you guys gain any insights from the runes carved on the Heaven Mutiny Pillar?” Solomon asked. He still had a smile on his face, but the expressions of all the Grand Elders and Elders changed immediately upon seeing him.
“Who are you
?” one of the Grand Elders asked with a shaking voice as he and others were unable to recognize him. These Grand Elders and Elders had been taking care of the affairs of their respective Family Clans for millions of years, so it was but natural that they remembered the faces of all the members of their respective Family Clans. Solomon’s face was new to them. A scary thought suddenly appeared in their minds.
“No need to be alarmed. I am your Ancestor,” Solomon quickly tried to explain, as he could tell the direction in which their thought processes were moving. Information regarding Solomon had yet to proliferate amongst both the Family Clans, as currently only the members of the Upper echelons of the Main branches of both Family Clans knew about him.
The Grand Elders and Elders didn’t believe him and quickly sent an SOS for help. Solomon knew that, but didn’t try to stop them as he felt that it would unnecessarily complicate the entire matter.
Suddenly thousands of light beams shot towards Solomon from all directions. They stopped at a little distance from Solomon and turned into Humanoids, Elemental Beasts and so on. Solomon’s expression changed and he felt like banging his head on the floor.
“Who are you?” one of the newcomers asked as he looked at Solomon with intense hatred. His name was Hugo, and he was Heron’s great grandson. The surprise attack by the Nebula Sect had caused heavy loss of life, so it was but natural for him to hate the people that were responsible for it. He and the others assumed that Solomon was a spy from the Nebula Sect as they were unable to recognize him.
“I am your Ancestor,” Solomon said with a serious expression, but the expressions of Hugo and company didn’t change.
“Someone go and call Heron or Herman. They will clarify things for you guys. In the meantime, keep a little distance from me. I have to open a Teleportation portal to my Divine World so that both the Clans can shift there until things settle down here,” Solomon said in an irritated manner. He didn’t like it when people suspected him.
