The fact that she asked them to act as the representatives of the Main branches of both Family Clans at their Grandura branches elated them. She had decided that Sheldon, Danr and Brian would represent Heaven Sundering Family Clan while Hague and Cenric would represent Eternity Family Clan.

Shortly, they called all the inhabitants of the Estate to Sheldon’s Cultivation chamber, and it wasn’t long before they all appeared there.

“Ancestors, why have you called all of us?” one of the inhabitants of the Estate in Forest of Darkness asked in a concerned manner, as the current times were not good for their Family Clans.

“It has been decided by the Main branches that we are going to be their representatives from now onwards while on Grandura, so we will be moving to the Grandura branches of our Family Clans,” Cenric explained. Everyone was stunned on hearing these words, as they knew their circumstances.

Since the Main branches had given them such an important task, they could only think of one possibility: they’d been forgiven by the Founders. This was big and happy news, and everyone was extremely happy for them.

“Ancestors, don’t waste time! Quickly show your worth to the Main branches!” another inhabitant of the Estate in Forest of Darkness said in an excited manner.

“All of you are also going to return to your respective Family Clans. Everyone’s banishment has been canceled by the Main branches,” Sheldon said in a serious manner. Everyone’s expressions turned ghastly. For a variety of reasons, no one wanted to go back to their respective Family Clans!

“Don’t even think of refusing! That is an order!” Sheldon reprimanded them.

“The situation on Grandura is no longer peaceful. Quickly pack your stuff,” he suggested to them.

“We will head for Shimmering Sky Continent in a few days’ time,” Sheldon said. Everyone just nodded their heads, as they knew there was no point in arguing with Sheldon that day. They quickly turned into blurs and disappeared from his Cultivation chamber.

Straight away, they went to their respective Cultivation chambers to make preparations for leaving.

On Endless Abyss Divine World, the expressions of all the higher-ups of both Family Clans changed drastically, when Aquila received Sheldon’s Mental-message transmission.

Everyone found their actions justified, even the ones that loathed them.

Aquila sent another Mental message transmission and ordered Sheldon and his four companions to make sure of Shana’s safety. If Shana were to achieve a Second awakening of her Undying Fire Beast Martial Spirit, then they would have another terrifying talent in their Family Clans.

That was what they required the most in their current situation.

  --------------------------x--------------------------

Inside the Treasure Space, Ryan stood silently amongst the lush green grasses of Poison Meadow. He wore a grim and worried expression.

He was talking to Thorn, who was informing him about the army of Immortals that had come to finish him off. He even told Ryan that the army of Immortals contained members from his Family Clans.

Ryan apologized to Thorn on the behalf of his Family Clans and asked him to move to some other place with his followers. Ryan could tell that there must a reason that so many factions had picked up arms against Thorn, so it would be for the best if he moved to another place along with his followers.

Ryan suggested a few forests to him, but Thorn didn’t like them as those forests were growing over Mid-grade Treasure Lands. Ryan wished for him to remain low.

In the end, Ryan left it up to him to decide on his new home, under the condition that he would lay low and avoid messing with powerful factions. Thorn readily agreed to Ryan’s conditions. Ryan and Thorn talked for some more time before ending their talks.

Before this conversation ended Ryan had already decided to somehow get powerful charms for his Soul beings from Sheldon or any other grandpa from the Main branch after leaving the Treasure Space.

He continued on his journey soon after. He had already traversed half the Inner region. The Poison Elemental Energy there was extremely dense, so all the powerful creatures of the Poison Meadow had concentrated there. Ryan had been moving cautiously in that region as he could sense powerful creatures and he had no intention of messing with them. He was able to avoid them with the help of his Asura eyes and his extremely sensitive senses. He circumnavigated them from a distance whenever he encountered them, as they were not something he could kill.

On his way, he had captured High-grade Mortal Plant Spirits and a few Immortal Plant Spirits. This scene had stunned everyone in Sundering Valley, as they had never thought that they would see a Mortal Lord Realm Martial Artist successfully capture an Immortal Plant Spirit.

  That was something unheard of.

Poison Attribute Plant Spirits use their terrifying poisons to defend against predators but against Ryan their poisons were useless. Poisons that could kill even an Immortal Emperor Realm Martial Artist with ease were unable to affect Ryan in any way, so it didn’t take a lot of effort for Ryan to capture them.

He just uprooted them like normal radishes, killed them and stored them in a Glass box to avoid loss of their essence for later use. Most Poison Elemental Plant Spirits whether Mortal or Immortal had extremely weak bodies, so it was easy for Ryan to finish them off even with his Cultivation Level.

“When was capturing an Immortal Plant Spirits so easy?” many people watching Ryan thought incredulously to themselves as they looked at the screen showing him. Normally, a person gambles with his or her life each time in capturing an Immortal Plant Spirit, and in the case of Poison Attribute Plant Spirits, the risk is even higher as just touching one can lead to death.

Everyone was extremely envious of Ryan’s physique, as it would allow him to cultivate Poison Elemental Laws at an unprecedented speed. Ryan’s value further increased in the eyes of the members of the Upper echelons of both Family Clans. Some even started collecting information regarding Asura dragons to see if they really did have such a domineering physique, as they were having a hard time digesting the fact that a creature with such a high resistance towards Poison Attribute could actually exist.

The Plant Spirits collected by Ryan could increase his insights and understanding of the Poison Elemental Laws by leaps and bounds, and he had decided to enter a Closed-door session after exiting the Inner region of Poison Meadow so he could absorb the essences of the Plant Spirits that he’d captured.

There were two reasons for that. The first one was because he would be unable to take the Plant Spirits outside the Treasure Space, which meant that he would have to use them before the end of the Divine Trials. The second reason was because Poison Meadow had no other participants in it to disturb him. If he were to leave Poison Meadow, then he would have to deal with the other participants as well as the creatures of Raspite, the former being more problematic.

It took Ryan another six days to finally come out of Poison Meadow’s Inner region and again enter its Outer region. The entire journey had been extremely fruitful for him as he had collected twenty-one medallions in the Inner region, which took his total tally to fifty-six, plus twenty Low-grade Immortal Plant Spirits and one hundred High-grade Mortal Plant Spirits.

Ryan had wanted to capture even more Immortal Plant Spirits, but was unable to do so, because most of them were under the protection of powerful creatures, that were protecting them for their own personal use. They consumed the Immortal Plant Spirits the moment they reached a particular grade. The ones that he’d captured had been able to hide well and avoid predators, but given Ryan’s eyes and senses, they were unable to change their fate.

The first thing Ryan did after stepping into the Outer region was to find a place to absorb the essences of the many Plant Spirits, which were enough to help him advance his Poison Attribute Soul Core to Late Mortal Lord Realm from Mid Mortal Lord Realm in one go.

He didn’t have to look for long. He found an ideal place for himself, an un
derground cave with a narrow mouth, but which was quite spacious inside. The cave belonged to a Poison fang, which looked quite similar to a rat. It was an Elemental Beast that possessed the bloodline of Ancient Beast Heavenly Poison Rat, with a Cultivation Level of Late Mortal Lord Realm. Ryan was not in a mood to play around this time, so he just burnt the Poison Fang to death with Hell’s Fire flame.

After dealing with the Poison fang, Ryan then started preparing to enter a Closed-door Cultivation session in the wilderness. In order to do that, multiple things had to be taken care off. He took out hundreds of charms that had been personally crafted by him. Their quality was much better than before, and they all had numerous runic seals on them, which sealed powerful attacks of Hell’s Fire flame. All the charms started flying under Ryan’s control and flew straight towards the walls near the entrance of the cave, and stuck to the walls there. These charms were a one-way-ticket to hell for beings with a Cultivation Level below that of Late Mortal King Realm, who tried to enter the cave.

People in Sundering Valley were watching at Ryan on the screen with stunned expressions, including his family members when they saw Ryan use the charms.

“When did he learn to craft charms?” Julia asked Emilia in disbelief.

“No idea,” Emilia said as her gaze was still trained on the screen showing Ryan. She was feeling elated at that moment.

The Treasure Space carefully checked the equipment and charms that participants were carrying with them, and sealed charms that were not crafted by the participants personally to render them useless inside the Treasure Space. Since Ryan was able to use the charms in his hands, then only one inference could be drawn: he knew the art of charm-making.

It was not that Ryan was the only participant in this year’s Divine trails that was capable of crafting charms, but he was the only doctor’s apprentice that was capable of crafting charms at such a young age. Crafting charms is not easy and requires rigorous practice. They were unable to fathom how Ryan got time to practice the art of charm-making while training to become a doctor under Raymond.

It meant that he had a very high talent in charm-making. All the charm makers from the Senior generations of both Family Clans looked at the small screen that displayed Ryan with bright eyes, as all of them wanted to take him as a personal disciple.

In the eyes of most members of both Family Clans, he was already a super-genius, but no one knew that the only reason Ryan was able to become a charm-maker so easily was due to Earl. Ryan had been able to gain supreme control over his flames, which made it easy for him to craft charms of Fire Attribute.

After placing the charms, Ryan then slapped his Undead pouch from which twenty ghouls flew out. All these ghouls were covered in a sinister red aura and all of them had a Cultivation Level of Late Mortal Lord Realm. In the Outer region of Poison Meadow, these ghouls were sufficient to deal with the majority of problems. They quickly took their positions outside the cave entrance.

Ryan was now all alone in the cave. He then took out his Spatial Cultivation chamber, quickly entered it, and appeared in a familiar Cultivation chamber.

The first thing he did was to take out all the Glass boxes from his Spatial pouch that contained the Plant Spirits he’d captured and placed them on the floor. He unsealed some of the Glass boxes and sat in front of them in a meditative position.

He held a Plant Spirit in his hand and started absorbing its essence in a rapid manner. It turned into ashes after its essence was completely absorbed. He continued to drain a few more Plant Spirits until the green side of his Soul World couldn’t hold anymore essence.

“Dargar, let’s start cultivating,” Ryan said with a smile as he started cultivating. Ryan felt giddy deep down as this many priceless Poison Attribute Plants Spirits could help him in quickly advancing his Poison Attribute Soul Core.

“I’ve been waiting eagerly to hear these words,” Dargar said in an excited manner as he started cultivating too.

Everyone in Sundering Valley was looking at Ryan’s screen in a stunned manner when they saw him command twenty ghouls, but the thing that stunned them even more, was the red aura surrounding them. This red aura had been seen by many in Heaven Sundering Family Clan previously. Everyone’s gazes subconsciously turned towards the bead necklace around Emilia’s neck. It was strikingly similar to the red aura released by the wraiths that protected her. Many people suspected, as a result, that Ryan was somehow able to sneak in a similar necklace into the Treasure Space.

“Isn’t that cheating? That necklace would definitely help him achieve a win.”

“He lied to the Ancestors with a straight face! He previously told us that he only had one necklace and now here he is using another one so shamelessly to cheat in the Divine Trials.”

“We can’t be sure of that: it’s impossible to fool the Treasure Space and sneak something in.”

“Why aren’t the Law Enforcement Officials speaking about this matter? Can’t they use their eyes and head to point out wrong and right!”

A big uproar occurred in Sundering Valley. The Heaven Sundering Family Clan and the Eternity Family Clan preferred upright people irrespective of how talented they were, so it was natural that they reacted in such a manner. They were also unable to see their own kids at a disadvantage since the Divine Trails decided a lot of things for the Younger generation.

The expressions of Ryan’s family became ugly. Julia wanted to bash all the people who were complaining, but even she had to say the coincidence was simply too big to brush off. Ryan’s family had no choice but to remain mum, as they didn’t know much about the source of that sinister red aura either. They could only sit it out until the end of the Divine Trials and ask Ryan then.

Everyone’s gazes turned towards the Ancestor Level Martial Artists who were staring with a dazed expressions at the screen showing Ryan, but they quickly regained their senses after noticing so many people staring at them.

“You all are over-thinking. The Treasure Space can’t be fooled! The red aura is most likely an after-effect of some Innate Ability of Asura dragons that allows Ryan to control those ghouls,” one of the Ancestor Level Martial Artists said.

Many people hearing an Ancestor Level Martial Artist’s inference calmed down and didn’t dare to create unnecessary problems, but they were still shaken up.

“Isn’t such an Innate Ability every Death Attribute Martial Artist dream?” everyone thought to themselves with disbelief, while the participants that had been ejected by the Treasure Space wanted to bang their heads on the ground in frustration.

“The heavens are too unfair,” all the ejected participants thought to themselves. They didn’t like the fact that Ryan was so extraordinary.

Meanwhile, it was unknown what was going on in the minds of the Ancestor Level Martial Artists.

They had silly smiles plastered on their faces.

  Ch. 21

In the Ancestral land of Heaven Sundering Family Clan, a high-profile meeting was going on in one of the Meeting Rooms at Nero’s estate. It was being attended by a number of higher-ups of the Grandura branches of both Family Clans, including the Head of the Grandura branch of Eternity Family Clan, Rudolf. The meeting had been called to decide the future course of actions, if a war was to erupt between them and Calamity Sect.

“I have received Intel that Calamity Sect has started purchasing large quantities of raw materials and other kinds of supplies. I am sure that they are preparing for war. We should also start preparing for war,” one of the members of the Upper echelons of Eternity Family Clan said in a frantic manner.

All the members of the Upper echelons of both the Clans readily agreed with him. This meeting also involved the members of the Law Enforcement Departments of both Family Clans who quickly sent a notice to the War Departments of their respective Family Clans to start preparing for war.

The Law Enforcement Officials in the room made sure that they immediately complied with anything a majority of the members of the Upper echelon
s of both Family Clans agreed upon and according to their wishes. This was the only reason they were in the Meeting Room.

“We should quickly inform everyone that we are in a war-like situation with Calamity Sect and ask them to avoid contact with members of Calamity Sect, or factions that have good relations with it. We can’t take any risks,” Rudolf said, and everyone nodded their heads in agreement.

“There is also a need to restrict the movement of our fellow Clan members until things calm down a little. It would be problematic, for instance, if they were taken as hostages while outside the Family Clans.

“Calamity Sect is a Demonic Sect so it wouldn’t be odd if they resorted to such things,” another member of the Upper echelon of Heaven Sundering Family Clan said, to which everyone just nodded their heads.

“Did we receive any instructions from the Main branches?” another member of the Upper echelon of Eternity Family Clan asked. He had a grim and fearful expression, but it was not just him: others also had similar expressions on hearing his question. They knew that their survival was directly linked to the Main branches of both Family Clans. If they didn’t make a move quickly, then no one would be able to save them from annihilation at the hands of Calamity Sect.

“No,” Nero said in a helpless manner. It had already been a few days since Rudolf had sent a Mental-message transmission to the Main branch of his Family Clan asking for assistance, while Nero had sent a similar Mental-message to the Main branch of his Family Clan, but neither of them had received a reply.

As a result, they’d had to decide the safety measures on their own, and that was the reason there’d been a need to call this meeting. Generally, they would never have to decide such crucial things themselves.

“If members of the Main branch of Calamity Sect attack us, then we are as good as finished. We won’t be able to defend ourselves against them. It would be for the best if we contacted the Ancestors from the Main branches that are living on Grandura via Oscar,” one of the members of the Upper echelons from Heaven Sundering Family Clan said. Many people agreed with him.
