“Yeah,” Ryan, Earl and Dargar said in unison as they regained their composures too. They were unable to contain their excitement.

“It’s a pity that we don’t have time to test this Martial Skill in the Treasure Space,” Ryan said with a sigh as he took out Death Sword from his Soul World and opened the portal to the Death dimension.

He threw the Floral pouch that contained the Variant Soul Devouring Immortal Tree Spirit into it as he was certain that he would be scanned by a number of people the moment he left the Treasure Space. He then called back Enkil and Lachesis, who returned to the cave within a few minutes. They quickly entered their respective Vector tattoos soon after returning, following which he started to channel extremely pure Death Elemental Energy from Death Sword to them via the connection between them.

He then left for the cave occupied by his fellow group-members. Earl was astonished upon seeing Enkil, and almost fainted from shock when Yama told him about the fearsome reputation of his species in Divine Universe.

Within a few hours, Ryan reached the cave being used by his group-members. The auras of all his fellow group-members had reached astonishing levels, as all of them had had breakthroughs in their Martial Paths. The ones that had advanced to Early Mortal Emperor Realm had had their Cultivation Levels suppressed to that of Late Mortal King Realm by the Treasure Space, so that they didn’t have any undue advantage over other participants while they were still in Raspite.

Everyone was elated upon seeing Ryan. They didn’t ask him the reason behind his disappearance for so many days, as they didn’t think it was right for them to intrude on his privacy. Everyone had secrets so the fact that Ryan had a few was no big deal.

Ryan and his fellow group-members talked about general things as they patiently waited for the Divine Trials to end. This was the only Divine Trials in which most of the participants had not been that concerned about collecting medallions, except for a few who were unable to acquire any sort of Heavenly Treasure, and as a result, only two-thirds of the medallions had been collected by the participants in this time.

The moment the Divine Trials ended, all the participants were covered in white light following which they disappeared from Raspite, and the portal started to shine as it ejected participants in an orderly fashion.

The participants that were unable to get Dark Star Ore had murderous expressions, and quickly complained to their family members that had come to receive them at the portal, but unexpectedly, they were scolded by the Elders of their family for being worthless. The Dark Star Ore had been acquired by Ryan so he had the right to distribute it according to his own will.

Yate was the most miserable as his true face was now known by everyone. He was immediately apprehended by the Law Enforcement Officials and taken to an unknown location. Many participants ejected at the end of the Divine Trials cursed their luck when they came to know that their actions had been watched by millions of members of both Family Clans.

Ryan’s situation was no better than the rest, as he was pounded by hundreds of questions from Oscar and the rest of his family members after they’d made sure that he was alright and had congratulated him for being able to persist until the end of the Trials and for gaining a powerful Soul beast.

Cris and his parents thanked him numerous times for giving Cris an opportunity to form an Equal contract with the Night Fury Bird, whom Cris had named Cleo. Ryan tried his best to answer their questions, though he would mix lies in every now and then, which made it difficult for his family members to tell if he was lying to them or not.

Many members of the Upper echelons of both the Family Clans came to meet Ryan. This fact made many participants envious. Ryan had given them too many surprises, so it was natural they came meet a talented guy like him.

Before being ejected from the Treasure Space, all the participants had again appeared in the white cubical rooms, and they’d had to leave all the medallions that they’d collected in those rooms before being ejected.

Generally, the Treasure Space declared the results of the Divine Trials right after all the participants were ejected, but this time it didn’t. Since the Treasure Space was taking a lot of time, that meant a lot of things were being considered before a participant was given a rank in this year’s Divine Trials.

“The results of the Divine trails will be declared within a few days,” one of the Law Enforcement Officials announced.

Many people had been expecting that, which put many participants at ease as they had not concentrated at all on collecting medallions.

Everyone present in Sundering Valley started to leave for home. Ryan and his family members were no different, but on their way to home, Ryan decided to pay Sheldon, Danr and Brian a visit as he wished to discuss the matter of Solomon’s visit.

“I need to meet Grandfather Sheldon,” Ryan suddenly said with a serious expression. His family members asked him the reason, but he refused to divulge any details, and Ryan’s family members didn’t try to pry into the matter any further as it was related to Sheldon.

“You guys go home. I will take Ryan to Ancestor Sheldon,” Oscar said. Julia and the rest nodded their heads as they flew towards Blasius’s Estate.

At the same time, Oscar and Ryan flew towards the residence allotted to Sheldon, Danr and Brian.

  Ch.30

Sheldon, Brian and Danr’s residence was similar to a palace, and was the grandest building in Heavenly City. It was in the northern part of the city and covered an area of over five square kilometers. It was made of the best materials available on Grandura. Anyone could tell from a single glance that this building housed the most important people of Heaven Sundering Family Clan. At all times the gates of the residence had numerous Law Enforcement Officials guarding it.

The Law Enforcement Officials immediately became alert upon noticing two silhouettes in the sky. They only relaxed after making sure that they were Ryan and Oscar, and didn’t stop them from entering the residence, as they’d received a Mental-message transmission from Danr to allow them in. Sheldon, Brain and Danr had been expecting Ryan to visit them after the Divine Trials.

“Grandpa Danr, where is Grandpa Sheldon?” Ryan asked in a serious manner. Anyone could tell that he wished to talk about something serious with Sheldon. Danr didn’t waste time and took Ryan and Oscar to the Inner area of the residence immediately.

Sheldon and Brian were sipping tea in the Living room while comfortably sitting on their chairs. Smiles appeared on their faces as they sensed the presences of Ryan and Oscar, as they had been expecting Ryan to visit them after the Divine Trials.

“Grandpa Sheldon, did someone from the Main branch question you about Evil Fire Spirit Martial Skill?” Ryan asked in a serious manner. Ryan’s question alarmed Sheldon, Brian and Danr as Herman had actually done that. Sheldon had also passed the Martial Skill to Herman.

“How do you know about that?” Sheldon asked in a stunned manner. Ryan quickly narrated everything in detail regarding his meeting with Solomon. He didn’t miss out a single detail. He even told them about the Martial Skill that he had received from him. Sheldon, Danr and Brian were agape as they listened to Ryan, as they were already able to deduce the identity of the person that had come to meet Ryan.

“Ryan, don’t tell anyone about this matter, OK?” Brian said in a serious manner, and Ryan readily agreed.

“Can we see your Evil Fire Spirit?” Sheldon asked. He, Brian and Danr wanted to check out Ryan’s Evil Fire Spirit which had been able to force Solomon to throw away his status and personally go to meet Ryan. Ryan nodded his head as a black beam of light appeared out of his chest which turned into Lachesis. Lachesis looked at Sheldon, Brian and Danr with wariness, but she didn’t even give damn about Oscar.

Sheldon, Danr, Brian and Oscar were dumbfounded on seeing her, as from no angle did she look like an Inferno Undead creature, if not for the Hell’s fire flame that burned on her sickle like front legs and antennas.

“Ryan, did you do anything s
pecial while creating her?” Sheldon asked with an envious expression. He had no idea what Lachesis was exactly, but he knew that she was certainly something Heaven Defying for Solomon to personally come to ask Ryan about her.

“Grandpa, it is most likely due to my control over my flames. The other Grandpa from the Main branch came to that conclusion,” Ryan said as he created one of the runes of Evil Fire Spirit Martial Spirit with Hell’s Fire flame.

Sheldon was dumbstruck on seeing the rune created by Ryan, which was many times better than the runes he’d created while creating his own Evil Fire Spirit. This showed that Ryan’s control over his flames was much better than his. The speed at which Ryan had created it was also many times faster than his too.

All this made him feel that Solomon’s hypothesis was correct.

Ryan talked with Sheldon, Danr and Brian for some time before he and Oscar left for home.

“Where are you going?” Danr asked as he saw Sheldon getting up from his seat.

“I will try to increase my control over my flames,” Sheldon said with a determined expression as he left the Living room. The Martial Artists that had descended on Grandura from Divine Worlds could still learn a Martial Skill or increase their control over their attributes while on Grandura.

“Anyone who cultivates Fire Elemental Laws would be shaken up after seeing Ryan’s control over his flames,” Danr said with a sigh. Brian also nodded his head in agreement.

Ryan and Oscar headed straight towards Blasius’s estate. The Metallic Hell Dragon which had been slumbering had woken up. The seals that had forced it to slumber had started to weaken the moment Ryan exited the Treasure Space, and the Metallic Hell Dragon was extremely impatient to see the outside world.

“Grandfather, can I release Metallic Hell Dragon from the Beast pouch? He wishes to come out of it,” Ryan said in an excited manner. Oscar was also equally happy for Ryan.

“We can’t release him here. Let’s go to Heavenly Forest,” Oscar said, so they changed their direction and flew towards Heavenly Forest. The Metallic Hell Dragon was gigantic in size and would cause an unnecessary commotion if Ryan were to release him within the confines of Heavenly City.

Ryan and Oscar reached Heavenly Forest within an hour, and the first thing Ryan did was to release Metallic Hell Dragon.

“Roar!!!” the Metallic Hell issued a terrifying roar as he appeared out of the Beast pouch. This roar was heard in the entire Heavenly Forest, and even in the Outer parts of Heavenly City. It made most of the creatures of Heavenly Forest scared stiff. The Metallic Hell Dragon had an elated expression, as he eagerly looked around with great curiosity.

“You are free to go anywhere you wish, but make sure to stay out of trouble,” Ryan said to the Metallic Hell Dragon, who readily agreed and nodded his head.

“Do you have a name?” Ryan asked, as many intelligent creatures give themselves names upon entering the Immortal Realm. The Metallic Hell Dragon shook his head. He’d never had a need for a name inside the Treasure Space, so he’d never named himself.

“Grandfather, do you have any suggestions?” Ryan asked with a smile. The Metallic Hell Dragon had been ignoring Oscar until Ryan called him Grandfather, but he now had a respectful attitude towards Oscar, even though Oscar was weaker than he was.

“How about Tondenth? that was the name of one of the strongest ever Dragon Kings of Grandura,” Oscar said with a smile. The Metallic Hell Dragon liked the name and nodded his head vigorously.

“So you will be called Tondenth from now on,” Ryan said with a smile. Caius who had been hiding within Ryan’s hair also flew out to meet Tondenth. Tondenth could already tell that Caius was Ryan’s other Soul being. Tondenth and Caius quickly greeted each other. Caius was extremely happy to meet Tondenth, who was happy as well. He could tell that this Immortal Plant Spirit was something extremely dangerous, even though he was insignificant in size. Strong beings are respected everywhere. Ryan was happy to see that Caius and Tondenth had no problems with each other.

“Tondenth, do you wish to stay in Heavenly Forest or travel around Grandura? You don’t have to worry about me. I have Caius by my side,” Ryan asked with a smile. Tondenth had been living all his life inside the Treasure Space, so it wouldn’t be odd if he wished to travel around.

Tondenth looked at Ryan in a grateful manner. He quickly conveyed his intention via a Mental-message transmission to travel around Grandura. Ryan nodded his head and told his grandfather about Tondenth’s intention.

“Inform Ryan if you get into any kind of trouble. We will come to your assistance at the earliest. It would be best if you keep a low profile, though. We have been at odds with a few factions, so they might try to target you,” Oscar said in a grim tone. Tondenth nodded his head as he took off in the sky.

“Tondenth, one of my Soul beings is a Dragon serpent. He has recently moved to God Forsaken Forest with all his followers. You can visit him. God Forsaken Forest has a large number of dragons and Elemental Beasts with the bloodlines of various dragon species. It would be safe if both of you were to live nearby each other,” Ryan sent a Mental-message transmission. Tondenth looked at Ryan one last time as he nodded his head before disappearing into the horizon.

“Grandfather, let’s go home,” Ryan said with a smile. He had decided to tell Tondenth about Death Sword’s extremely pure Death Elemental Energy at a later date. Oscar nodded his head as both he and Ryan took off into the sky.

“Ryan, the Law Enforcement Officials are noting down the names of youngsters that wish to enter a recently found Legacy Land. The treasures inside this Legacy Land are even better than those in Gods Domain. Are you interested?” Oscar asked Ryan as they were flying towards home.

“Where exactly is this Legacy Land located?” Ryan asked in an excited manner.

“In Desolate Forest,” Oscar said. Ryan was stunned for a moment before he regained his composure. He finally understood everything. The allure of Legacy Lands was enough for the factions of Grandura to mess with someone as powerful as Thorn.

“This Legacy Land has no restrictions based on race which means all kinds of beings can enter it provided they are below the age of thirty,” Oscar said with a sly smile. Ryan could already get the hidden meaning behind this smile.

Oscar was asking him to take Thorn along with him while venturing into the Legacy Land which would at least guarantee his safety. Ryan had told his family that Thorn had a Cultivation Level of Mortal Saint Realm.

“I will ask him,” Ryan said in a non-serious manner. He didn’t feel it was right for him to disturb Thorn for small matters. He had Enkil and Lachesis to keep him safe in that Legacy Land.

“He will at least make sure that you don’t die inside the Legacy Land since Rai will also be entering it,” Oscar said in a concerned manner. A grim expression appeared on Ryan’s face on hearing those words from Oscar.

He knew that Rai wouldn’t enter God’s Domain, if he was able to get something good in the newly found Legacy Land, as entering a Legacy Land was quite risky.

Ryan also knew that all the plans he’d made previously had become obsolete at this moment. He would have to plan everything again from the start; he would have to take a lot of things into consideration this time.

“Don’t worry, Grandfather. He will definitely have a hard time killing me,” Ryan said as an evil smile appeared on his face. Oscar felt at ease after seeing Ryan’s confidence.

“If you are interested, then go and register yourself tomorrow with the Law Enforcement Officials,” Oscar said. Ryan nodded his head as he fell into deep thought.

Ryan’s family members had decided to celebrate Ryan’s first successful Divine Trials, and Alexis hosted a feast to mark the occasion.

Ryan excused himself after the feast and returned to his Cultivation chamber and went to sleep after checking on the Variant Soul Devouring Immortal Tree which was still in a deep sleep-state.

Ryan had not slept for the previous six months. After stepping into M
ortal Elite Realm Martial Artists don’t have to sleep, as they replace sleep with meditation to refresh their minds, but Ryan had no intention of mediating this time: he just went to sleep – and he didn’t wake up for the next two days.

He had accumulated a lot of fatigue during the Divine Trials, so it was natural that he required such a long rest. His family members didn’t disturb him during those two days, but occasionally came to check on him.

Oscar, on the other hand, got Ryan registered with the Law Enforcement Officials for entering the Legacy Land while he was still asleep.

  --------------------------x--------------------------

A high-profile meeting was going on a Divine World, which was as big as Endless Abyss Divine World. It was taking place in an extravagant Meeting Hall, and the names of some of the attendees could easily shake the known part of the Divine Universe.

That particular Divine World was the home-world of Silver Oak Sect, and it was called Silver Divine World. The meeting had been called by the Sect Head of Silver Oak Sect, who was a Paragon God, Paragon Gods being the true backbone of any SSS Grade faction. The meeting was being attended by all the important people of Silver Oak Sect, the Patriarch of Silver Moon Family and the Sect Head of Calamity Sect who was also the Founder of Calamity Sect.

“My lord, we are certain that the Asura Bone Sword has fallen into a Legacy Land on Grandura and retrieving it is going to be very difficult,” the Patriarch of Silver Moon Family Clan said with a gloomy expression.

The Asura Bone Sword had left a trail of energy traces while traveling through Outer space, so Silver Moon Family Clan had been able to track its whereabouts. They’d been able to find its exact whereabouts, after a little inquiry on Grandura. Calamity Sect had helped in this matter, as they had a branch on Grandura, because of which its Sect Head was present in this meeting too.
