“Sure thing, doc, thanks.” Rose handed Faye over to Rita and they all left to wait outside of the room. They said they wouldn’t be going anywhere until they knew she was awake and ok.

  Chapter 33

  Bonnie

I woke up panicked, my hand immediately went to my tummy and it was much smaller. Where was my baby?

“Sweetness?” I heard Joseph, I turned my head and opened my eyes. “It’s good to see those eyes.” He smiled.

  “Faye?” I asked.

  “She’s right here.” Mum said.

“Mum?” I turned my head and she walked towards the bed with my baby, she was wrapped in a pink blanket and had a pink hat on her head.

“Joseph, give the doctor a call.” Mum told him as she placed Faye on my chest.

“Oh my God, she is perfect. Is she ok?” I asked.

“Yeah, she is on the small side only weighing just under six pounds but she’s healthy.” Joseph told me and then kissed me.

“Good to see you’re awake, Bonnie.” The doctor said as she walked into the room. “I’m just going to check your blood pressure and run a few tests and then we will see about when you get to go home.” Joseph took Faye from me and let the doctor do her work.

“We are just going to wait outside, sweetie. Your friends want to see you.” Dad said.

“Thanks, Daddy.” He kissed me on the head and before I knew it, Rose and Jamie-Lee were running in the door. They both threw themselves at me, hugging me.

“I was so worried.” Rose said.

  “You scared us.” Jamie-Lee sobbed.

“Hey, I’m ok. A little sore, but I’m fine. Where’s Harper?”

“Matt has her. She keeps picking up the feeling that I’m upset and when I hold her, she cries.”

“I think she is going to be a Daddy’s girl.” I laughed.

“Yeah and yours too.” She looked over at Joseph, who was cuddling our baby girl and Faye let out a loud cry.

“I think someone’s hungry.” The doctor said.

“Can I still breast feed?” I really wanted to bond that way with Faye and I didn’t know if I still could.

“You can definitely try, see if she latches on.” The doctor explained. “I will grab your nurse and she can help.”

“Thank you.” I raised the bed so I was in a sitting position.

“We’ll come back after she’s been fed.” Rose said. I smiled at them both. The nurse then walked in.

“You wanna try breast feeding her?” She asked.

“Yes, if I can.” She nodded and took Faye from Joseph and handed her to me. She explained the best way to do it and explained that she may not take to the nipple straight away as she had been bottled fed.

“Well, look at that, she latched on straight away.” The nurse said and Joseph moved closer to look.

“How will I know when she’s had enough?” I felt stupid asking these questions, was I going to be terrible at this?

“She will stop when she is full, just remember to wind her. You don’t want her getting a tummy ache.” I nodded and watched in fascination as she fed.

  “Thank you.”

“I will leave you to it. Call if you need anything.” I nodded again. Joseph sat on the bed next to me.

“I was scared there for a minute.” He whispered. “I don’t know what we would have done without you.”

“Hey, stop that. I’m fine, we are going to be one happy little family.” I kissed him and desire floated through my body. Would I be able to wait weeks before having him again? I doubted it very much.

  Chapter 34

  Bonnie

“Please, babe, I need you. You have made me wait long enough.” I pleaded to Joseph.

“I don’t want to hurt you.”

“You won’t. It’s been eight weeks already. The oral is good but I need you properly, inside me.” I felt great and Mum and Dad had just come to take Faye for a walk around the park. Joseph was sitting on the edge of the bed and I climbed into his lap and kissed his neck. I felt him harden more as he was only in a pair of boxer shorts. I pulled my top off, he loved the fact that my breasts were bigger, due to the milk I was carrying. I raised onto my knees so my breasts were in his face, he swiped his tongue over one nipple, I knew he wouldn’t be able to resist them. A little bit of milk leaked and he lapped it up with his tongue. He groaned and before I knew it I was on my back, we were both naked and he was pushing into me slowly.

“Hi, guys.” I called out as we arrived at Rose and Jacob’s home. Rose was cooking for us all. We tried to see each other as much as possible but it was difficult when there was two small babies involved.

“We have some news.” Jamie-Lee said excitedly, holding Harper in her arms.

“Give them a chance to get in the door, babe.” Matt chuckled.

“What’s going on?” I sat on the sofa and Joseph handed me a crying Faye. She was hungry. I started breast feeding her. Everyone was used to it now with me and Jamie-Lee breast feeding.

“Beer?” Jacob asked Joseph and Matt.

“Sure.” Joseph answered as Matt nodded.

  “Hey, you’re driving.” I said.

“Well, you can drive back. You can’t drink.” He said pointing to Faye.

“Don’t you think it would be nice for you guys not to drink as neither of us can?” I asked.

“No way, I need a drink.” Jacob scoffed. He came back in and handed Matt and Joseph a beer. I just sat there and shook my head.

  “We’re moving out.” Jamie-Lee announced.

  “Oh, no. Why?” I questioned.

“We can’t stay there forever, besides, you will need the bedroom for Faye soon.” Jamie-Lee answered.

“I know, I’m just going to miss you.” Faye had stopped eating so I passed her over to Joseph to wind her while I sorted myself out. “Where are you moving to?”

“There is a house just down the road from the gym, we have put an offer on it.” Matt explained.

  “Wow, that’s great.” Rose exclaimed.

“Yeah, we thought as J-Lee was doing all the office work there, it was close enough for her not to have to drive.”

“Sounds good, man. Speaking of the gym. I’ve got someone who wants to invest, which means we can upgrade all the equipment.”

“Which means we can concentrate on getting Drake ready for the MMA competitions.” Matt added.

  “Who’s the investor?” I asked.

“He doesn’t want to make it public yet, he heard about what we were doing and wanted to be involved.”

“So, who is it?” Rose asked.

  “Will, from Flix.”

  Epilogue

  Bonnie

“Faye! Come on, we gotta go.” I yelled up the stairs.

“What are you yelling for, sweetness?” Joseph asked as he wrapped his arms around me from behind.

“I am trying to get your daughter to get her shoes on so we can go to Harper’s birthday party.” I huffed.

“Come on, princess, we don’t wanna be late!” Joseph called up the stairs.

“I’m coming, Daddy.” She ran down the stairs and jumped into his arms, holding her shoes in her hands. I took her shoes off her and put them on her feet while Joseph had hold of her.

“Where are the boys?” I asked.

“In their car seats, ready to go.” He smiled at me.

“I’ll just grab Harper’s present and you get her in the car.”

I climbed into the car and looked over my shoulder. “Everyone ready?”

“Yes.” They all called out happily. Josh and Jarred were two years old and looked just like their Daddy and Uncle Jacob.

We pulled up to Matt and Jamie-Lee’s house and Harper and April, Rose and Jacob’s daughter. Ran outside to meet us.

“Get back in the house, you do not run outside.” Matt shouted.

“But, Daddy, we knew it was Uncle Joseph and Auntie Bonnie.” Harper whined.

“In.” He pointed to the d
oor and they hung their heads and walked inside. As soon as Faye released her belt she pushed past Josh and ran into the house.

“Hey, you ok?” I asked Matt as I stretched up to give him a kiss on the cheek.

“Yeah, who knew organising a seventh birthday party was going to be such hard work?” I laughed and picked Josh up while Joseph grabbed Jarred. “J-Lee and Rose are in the kitchen. Justin and Jude got into the flower beds.” I laughed. Those two were trouble when they got together.

Once I was inside the house, I put Josh on the floor and he ran for the back garden, I followed him out and spotted Jacob. “Jacob, can you keep an eye on him?”

“Sure. Hey, buddy.” He called out and Josh went running towards him. I walked into the kitchen and Rose was changing Justin out of his clothes.

  “Hey, you ok?” I asked.

“Yeah, why do these two lead each other on? You would think it would be Justin and Jenson getting up to no good.” Justin and Jenson were Rose and Jacob’s twin boys, who looked just like Jacob and Joseph but with Rose’s blonde hair. Which was good, else we would have trouble telling our twin boys apart.

“I know, why can’t Jude be like his brother?” Jamie-Lee asked.

“Where’s Jayden?” I looked around but I couldn’t see him.

“He’s outside, playing on the grass.” She answered as she looked out of the window.

  “You ok?” I asked.

“Yeah, Harper was up at five this morning, excited about her party, which woke the twins up. They have all been running around like they’d had a hit of speed.” She laughed.

“There, all nice and clean.” Rose said to Justin, kissing him on the cheek.

“Mummy, down.” He said pointing to the floor. She lifted him down and walked him to the back door, there was a small step there and none of the boys were great with it yet.

“Babe?” Rose called out, Jacob looked at her and she pointed to Justin and he waved to say he would keep an eye on him.

“Here we go ladies, I think we definitely deserve these.” Jamie-Lee said handing us each a sex on the beach cocktail. We headed out in the sun to enjoy the party. It was good seeing the guys running around after all the boys for a change.

We sat on the patio chairs and watched the mayhem in front of us. Joseph was running around after our boys Josh and Jarred, Jacob had finally managed to get his terror’s Justin and Jenson to play nicely together on the decking and Matt was chasing Jude around the garden as Jayden walked over to Jamie-Lee and crawled into her lap.

“Who would have thought we all would have ended up with a set of twin boys ourselves?” I laughed.

“And all at the same time? That’s just creepy how that happened.” Rose giggled.

  “You having anymore?” Jamie-Lee asked.

“NO!” Rose and I shouted together.

  “Me neither, they’re a handful.” Jamie-Lee chuckled.

  About the Author

Kacey is a pen name for two friends, Kelly and Claire. We started this journey together writing Rocking Esme in January 2014. We are avid readers and love all kinds of books. We were inspired to write a rock star book as that's one of my (Kelly) favourite sorts of books to read. We joked about writing a book and then once we started it kind of just took off and we really love it. We both contributed to all of the Rocking books. Now Claire has taken a back seat due to work commitments and I wrote ‘Taking A Chance’ by myself and Claire was very much involved with the editing, reading and formatting. Now, I have written ‘Giving A Chance’ and had help from many of my friends with editing and beta reading.

It still makes me so happy to see reviews and sales going up. I love writing and hope to do it as more of a full time job in the future.

We would like to thank our friends for supporting us throughout the writing of this book. And finally a MASSIVE thank you to you, the reader for bothering to buy and read the book and making it all the way to the end to be reading this.

Please leave a review where you bought it.
