He snarled, pulling her into his arms and biting her neck. “Ours.” He lifted her skirt as he lifted her, then sank his cock into her as she wrapped her arms and legs around him, giving her body, heart and soul to him. She whimpered, but took his claiming so no one would question them again.

Her pussy clenched his cock. Bo knew she was still a little sore, so he gentled his thrusts. With each one he made sure to grind against her sensitive clit. It didn’t take much to make his woman come again. Her pussy milked his cock of his seed.

As he lifted his head from her shoulder, he saw that most people had left. “I’m sorry, Little Wolf. I know you’re sore.” He pulled out of her and cradled her. “I love you, Shelly. Let’s gather our daughter and plan our party.”

She smiled, resting her head against his chest. “You’d better put on some clothes first.”

Bo handed her over to White Eagle, then took his clothes from Argo. “Anyone have any idea where to hold this party?” Bo looked at Shelly. “I think we should take this planning to the orphanage. I’ll have White Eagle inform the den, and if they would like to join us, they are welcome.”

White Eagle nodded. “Let’s get inside. We can discuss it then. Something isn’t right.” He scanned the area as they walked toward the entrance.

From the sky, some of Dominic’s men called out, giving them the signal that something was coming.

Everyone ran for the trap door. Even dragons shifted and met them there. Once they were inside, Bo turned to see four Heliokillers circling above.

“They know we’re here, but can’t find us. Soon they’ll attack, not caring what gets destroyed,” White Eagle said before turning to move down the tunnel.

“Has Gourd, Fand or Jester had any luck finding the last woman? I know your mom has tried to reach out to help them, but so far they’ve found nothing,” Shelly said.

“They think they have an area where to search on Earth, but we’re not the only ones looking for her, so she’s most likely in hiding somewhere,” Dane said, stepping up to them. “The ship is closing its shields as soon as those four are gone. I’ll grab my family and alert the pack and we can meet you at the commons. We’ll also have the other orphans from each of our packs come. This way the children can get to know each other and start getting used to each other. We can have cider and plan, allowing the children to have a little fun tonight.” Dane glanced back at the door leading outside. “I have a feeling this is going to be our last party till this is over.”

Bo nodded and hugged Shelly close to him. “A good way to bring us all together, before…” He didn’t need to finish the sentence.

Dane leaned down and kissed Shelly’s cheek. “Congrats, brat. See you in a few.”

With a heavy heart Bo watched Dane walk away. “Let’s go pick up our daughter and meet the others.”

  * * *

No one said much as they walked to Dominic and Suzanne’s home. Even moving through the common room, the mood had seemed to change. The music was off, and hardly anyone was there.

A lump formed in Shelly’s throat as she noticed that even the hot cider stand had been closed.

White Eagle leaned down and rubbed his cheek on the top of her head as she stared at the shops and the art people from the different clans had made for the common room as they walked to Dominic and Suzanne’s home to pick up Anna.

“Tell me about your folks,” she whispered.

His voice was smooth and deep and filled with love as he talked about how his dad had died before he was four and that his mother had raised him. His mom and sister had been killed in the first attacks to hit Earth. He’d been away on a business trip at the time.

“There was such a hole inside me. Bo kept me busy. He knew I needed to keep my mind away from all the grief, but that first time I saw you…” White Eagle smiled. “I was a goner. I knew then and there I would always protect you even if you weren’t meant to be mine, but here you are in my arms. Thank you for giving me a reason to live.” He lifted her up and kissed her lips softly.

“Suzanne cleared her throat, letting them know she was there in the doorway. “Please come in. Anna was getting a little nervous.”

“Put me down, White Eagle.” Shelly squeezed his arm and winked at him, then turned to Suzanne. “I’d like you to meet my mates, and yes, you heard right. It seems the Fates decided to grant me four strong men.” She wiggled her eyebrows and Suzanne burst out laughing.

“You do know it can also be a pain in the ass.” Suzanne leaned over as if to whisper in her ear. “Especially if they’re all Alpha types—it’s their way or not at all,” she said, mimicking Dominic’s voice, and when said man came up behind her and goosed her good, Shelly cackled.

Suzanne jumped and glared at Dominic. “I thought you were talking to Remi,” she grumbled and rubbed her ass.

“I see that, and we’ll discuss my way later, but you could step out of the way and let our guests in?” Dominic’s voice dropped like Bo’s did when he was giving Shelly one of those orders. Shelly’s nipples hardened at the thought and she moaned.

Behind her someone squeezed her butt cheek. “I would have thought you’d had enough today?” Argo said before placing a kiss on her cheek. With his hand on her back, Argo shook Dominic’s hand once they were inside.

“Congratulations to you all. I had a feeling your union with Bo wasn’t complete, but I hesitated to say anything.” Dominic kissed Shelly’s cheek and looked up at Bo. “So it seems we are running out of time.”

Bo nodded and sighed. “Yes, Shelly could tell when we went outside. The natural animals on this ship were hiding and quiet. We can only hope Gourd and his unit find their woman before this happens.”

“Momma Shelly!” Anna yelled and came running to her. She threw herself at Shelly’s legs. “I was so afraid you wouldn’t come back,” she cried, holding on tight.

“Anna,” she said, drawing the child’s face out of her stomach, “you are our little girl now. We’re not going to leave you.” She wiped the tears from Anna’s face. “Did you have a good time?”

Anna nodded, but still kept a grip on her legs.

“I’ve started gathering some construction paper, glue, scissors and such so the children can make some decorations. We can decide how and what to do for Halloween.” They all started to move into Suzanne’s craft room. Giving Shelly a nudge, Suzanne nodded to Anna, who was now helping Samantha pack more things into bags. “It will take time, but she’ll come around. We all have suffered so much. I for one can’t wait till this is over. If I was human, I swear I’d have an ulcer from all this tension and waiting.” Suzanne grabbed a few more things and put them into bags.

Shelly noticed Suzanne’s hands were shaking. She would have said something, but then Granger came in carrying two of their little ones, followed by Dominic and Bo. Shelly didn’t know what it was about men with long hair, but Granger was another one who turned heads when he walked in a room. His dark blue eyes helped too.

But then again, Bo could do that to her just by coming into the room. She peeked over her shoulder, and sure enough, Bo was staring at her, giving her a look that promised great things later that evening when they were alone.

Granger cleared his throat. “We all would love for this to be over. Are we ready?”

Bo and Dominic took the loaded bags, and Bo made sure to rub his damn arm against her breast as he took the bag from her hand.

Suzanne giggled—actually giggled—looking at her. Her expression became serious. “It’s going to take time for Anna to get used to you. Samantha was the same with us, but after a few days of seeing we weren’t going anywhere, she started to relax. Those who hurt her are gone, I hope?” Suzanne looked behind Shelly at Shelly’s men, and Bo nodded.

“Yes, the ship’s defensive shields finally kicked in and disposed of the problem before we had to physically do it,” White Eagle said, leaning down to suck Shelly’s earlobe into his mouth. “Remi is calling to have the cider place opened up a
nd asked if the elders would like to come help make decorations and such with the children,” he whispered to her.

Granger glanced down at Suzanne as she moved around the room, as if searching for something. “Suzanne, are you okay?”

“I’m fine.” She waved her hand at Granger and looked back at White Eagle. “Sorry for listening in, but you know before all of this happened with the alien things, a friend of mine ran a nursery school. Well, every week on Monday she’d take the children to the nursing home to do crafts, tell stories and such,” she said, waving her hands all around.

Dominic slid in behind her and wrapped his arms around her, holding her still. “Pet, did you drink more of that espresso stuff Jaycee was experimenting with the other day?” he asked, turning her to face him.

Suzanne frowned. “I only had three little cups.”

Shelly busted out laughing, and even Bo and Argo smiled as Granger, Buck and White Eagle shook their heads.

“Suzanne, what happened last time you drank that stuff?” Dominic asked.

“But I didn’t drink ten cups this time,” Suzanne said, pouting. “It’s so good.”

“Ten cups! Are you out of your mind? God, I would have overdosed on caffeine, Suzanne. Hate to say it, but you’ll crash hard later on,” Shelly said as the men ushered them out of Suzanne’s home and back into the tunnels, where Blair and Granger had Suzanne’s cute babies all tucked in their strollers. Suzanne had three boys and one girl, and already Shelly could tell she and Samantha were going to be very spoiled.

Shelly moved over to the strollers and bent down to look at the children. “God, they’re cute, Suzanne. I swear they keep getting bigger and bigger every time I see them.”

“Andrew has doubled in size in the last month. I think he’s going to be as big as Granger, where Darius tends to favor Dominic. Just wait, you’ll see when you have your little ones. I swear the air and the foods here are responsible, because I’ve never seen a child grow so fast. Even Samantha has grown two inches being here.” Suzanne hooked her arm through Shelly’s as they started to walk, and nodded to Samantha and Anna, who had run ahead of them.

Both girls were whispering and talking, but every so often Anna would glance back at Shelly, as though making sure she was still there.

“You know, if you get too lonely over on that side of the tunnels, you can always come spend some time here. With Dominic and Blair meeting others, and Granger working with his dad on something, I’d love the company.”

“Hey, what am I, chopped liver?” Archer growled.

Suzanne laughed. “Honey, you’re far from chopped liver—yuck—but you know, girl company every once in a while is nice. I mean, we all have our families now and I miss being around my friends. They’re like my sisters.” She nudged Shelly. “I mean it. Any time you have trouble with a female, please let me know.” She leaned over and whispered, “Temmra and I are getting a little bored. Don’t you think it would be funny to see a kitty dance?”

“Suzanne.” Dominic’s voice was now that of King Landon. “Behave.”

“Well that sucks, and here I thought we were going to have some fun,” she said, winking at Shelly.

Shelly stuttered, but managed to keep the laugh out of her voice. “Well, that would be all in good fun while you were there, but then when you left, I’d have to deal with the aftermath. Plus, I want them to come to trust me, not fear me.”

“Very true. I don’t have to worry about the fear part. One look at Dragon Breath over there and they go running. Another reason it’s so boring. You know, there were a few demons that got me pissed off the other day. Maybe Temmra and I can have some fun with them.”

Shelly had been about to warn her about Dominic coming her way when he lifted Suzanne up and stared at her. “I do believe we need to find some way to vent this hostility you have. What’s wrong with you?” he asked.

Just as Suzanne was going to say something, Shelly turned to see Dane and Remi coming around the corner, giving Jaycee the evil eye and growling.

“Oh no, seems my brother has his boxers in an uproar about something,” Shelly said as they joined their group. Jaycee came over and stepped between her and Suzanne as Dominic lowered her to the ground.

“So what has your men looking so pissed off?” Shelly asked as they started to walk again.

Jaycee rolled her eyes. “They heard me asking Marsha if it would be okay if I taught you the frog trick. That way if any more bimbos started anything with you, you could turn them into frogs for a few hours; make them eat some flies. That will make them sit up and behave.”

Bo sputtered and glared at Jaycee. “There will be turning no one into frogs. Jaycee, don’t even,” he growled.

All three of them stared at Bo for a minute before busting out laughing. “This is so cool. I could turn them into frogs, and Suzanne can make them dance,” Shelly giggled as Lissa and her group of men came to join them.

“Well, I could really settle that and send them all back to Earth,” Lissa volunteered, earning a moan from Argo and White Eagle.

Buck whistled. “Damn, we have some vicious women on our hands here.”

“That we do, and I think a visit to the club is in order soon,” Remi growled.

  Chapter Twelve

Bo shook his head as the ladies kept coming up with ideas, while keeping an eye on the children. Next to him Argo shook his head. “You don’t think she’d do any of this, do you?” he asked and Bo smiled.

“She better not. Even if she had the right, it wouldn’t endear her to the den. Plus, I believe our little wolf has a big heart,” he said, earning a snort from Mark.

“Yeah, until you cross her path. I’ll never forget the time I accidently broke one of those little glass things she collected. I mean, you’d think the world was coming to end. Shelly went into my room when I wasn’t there and set loose twenty-five frogs in there. Do you know long it took me to clean that mess up? Plus, Mom was no help, saying it’s your room, you deal with it” he grumbled.

“You got lucky. I was thinking of putting a skunk in there, but I didn’t want it stinking my room up since it was next to yours,” Shelly growled. “And it wasn’t just some glass thing, Mark. It was the only thing I had of Grandma Merz’s.” Bo could hear the sadness in her voice.

“Oh hell, Shelly, I didn’t know.” Mark moved to her, lifted her up and hugged her. “Sorry, Squirt,” he said, putting her down.

“I know. I think we all lost a lot. I wish there was a way to see if we can get any of our belongings back. I’d love my hope chest, and I know Mom had one made up for Jaycee too.” Shelly sighed.

“I forgot about those,” Dane said. “Maybe when everything has settled down, we can go see if anything is left. But right now, I don’t want to risk it. We were lucky that everyone was transported here before the shields were raised. I’m afraid we won’t even get help from Gaia and Empusa for this battle to come,” Dane said as they moved into the open area.

Everyone stopped walking and stared. At least two hundred children were running around in costumes. Black and orange strobe lights flickered on and off, and most of their den was there, which seemed to surprise Shelly. A petting zoo with animals Bo had never seen was off to the right, and Bo could have sworn one of the stores on the left had been converted into a haunted house. He laughed at the sight of his best friend Jack and his mate, Belinda, who stood in front of it dressed as Frankenstein’s monster and his bride.

Shelly moved up to him with Anna next to him. “You haven’t seen him in a while. Come, let’s go say hello and introduce them to our family. Jaycee, you coming?” she asked, and Bo laughed as Dane and Remi grumbled, but followed them over to Jack and Belinda.

Jaycee was there first. She hugged Melinda and Jack until Remi pulled her into his arms and shook Jack’s hand.

“Okay, you two, where have you been? We haven’t seen you two in months,” Bo asked, hugging Melinda.

Jack hugged his mate to him. “Melinda got sick and I a
lmost lost her. I know all of you were dealing with a lot, and we didn’t want to disturb you.”

Shelly growled. “Belinda, Jack, you are part of our family too. Please, if anything else happens, let us know.” She hugged Belinda again. “But you are okay now?”

Belinda nodded. “It seems I’ve got what you call a severe case of morning sickness, or hyperemesis gravidarum. I think I said that right. The doctor said I should be okay now.” She ran her hand over her belly. “We’re going to have twins.” She smiled.

“Oh my God, that’s great!” Shelly said, hugging her. Bo and Jaycee followed when Bo’s mother came around to join them.

“You know, you guys aren’t in costume. Anna, don’t you think everyone should be in costume for our party?” his mom asked. The gleam in her eye made Bo step back.

Sure enough, his little Anna squealed with delight when she was all of a sudden in a princess costume. “Figured since you are a princess, you needed an outfit,” his mom said.

“Jaycee, I said I was sorry,” Mark groaned as everyone turned to stare at him.

“Unicorn!” Anna and Samantha screamed, rushing to him and hugging him.

Jaycee turned too, and Bo could see the smile on her face as she held back laugher laughter, but when Remi growled, Jaycee lost it, and Bo did too.

Never had Bo seen a pumpkin as big as Remi. “The Great Pumpkin,” Bo snorted.

“Jaycee…” Remi glared at her and she laughed. Remi’s hat, which was the pumpkin’s stem, seemed to have smoke coming from it.

Bo’s laughter died as he glanced down at himself, moaning. “A pirate?” he asked. But any more complaints he might have had died when he glanced up to see his woman dressed as a serving wench. He must have growled, because Shelly’s gaze lifted to meet his and her smile was a wicked one.

“Okay really, a boxer?” Buck shook his head as Argo growled next to him.

“What are you complaining about?” And Bo had to smile seeing Argo dressed as King Kong as Argo took off the head of the suit that had suddenly appeared on him.
