Those few seconds there was nothing else on this blue planet but the two of them.
Alice couldn’t help but smile at him, really smile, no reservation, no careful guard, no worries, or fears. She had no idea how he did that, how he was able to make her feel this safe, this comfortable in her own skin. But maybe that was just part of this fragile, pristine dream.
What he did, when the doors of the elevators opened made her heart jump against her chest. He reached out and took her hand, pulling her with him as he walked down the hallway to their room. He could have dragged her into the storage room for all she cared. She felt like a silly teen, sneaking away from class to have some make-out time with her boyfriend. Alice couldn’t hold back a giggle.
King kept pulling her along, even after he had entered the code to let them into their room. After shutting the door again, he pushed her back against it, got rid of his mask and just looked at her, waiting. Alice took her time lifting her hands to her mask and taking it off as well.
“You said everything,” he warned her and she just nodded, being paralyzed, her knees wobbly, with the door at her back the only support she had.
Jason kissed her, softly, gently, and then possessively.
The only thing that kept her standing upright was his body pressed against hers, while his hands were snaking up the sides of her thighs to her hips and eventually to her chest, but all she cared for was his mouth on hers, his tongue teasing hers. He tasted like the scotch they drank and so much more. His taste and tongue went so much deeper than her just her mouth, she could feel him right between her legs. Alice couldn’t stop her hands from pressing up against his chest, to his neck and finally into his hair. She could remember how neatly his hair-do had been this morning, and wreaking havoc on his hair was strangely arousing.
Before she knew it, his hands were down at her thighs again, but only to push up her body hugging dress. She figured that the noise he made was of approval that she wasn’t wearing any tights, although the pleasure was really on her side as she could feel his fingers pressed against her soft flesh.
And the entire time, he kept continuing the kiss, switching from devouring to reverent and Alice couldn’t stop herself from feeling as if she was in heaven. She barely noticed his movements, at least the ones that weren’t including her body, just savoring his closeness, being clouded in his scent, and feeling his heat radiating against her body.
Suddenly, he managed to tear away his mouth from hers, just to make everything worse, and yet, so much better, as his mouth explored her neck, sucking on all the right places.
Alice lost her breath, as her nerves were set on fire. All she wanted was to feel him inside her, right now.
“I’m sorry, but I’m not patient today,” he suddenly breathed into her ear, sending a delicious shiver down her spine that left goose bumps.
Her mind was still trying to comprehend what he had said to her, while his hands left her body, but his mouth returned to hers. She still had her hands in his hair, which was soft and smelled oh-so-good.
Then suddenly her body was jerked upwards and only her tiptoes were able to graze across the ground. What would happen only reached her mind as it was already happening. She could feel him pressing against her panties just a few moments later, and after that, she could feel a pull on the fabric. It was too fast for her to anticipate what was following. He was entering soon after, just by lowering her down onto his cock.
Instinctively and willingly, she wrapped her legs around his hips and pushed him deeper, giving her the sensation of being filled up completely in an instant. He fit so perfectly inside her, it was ridiculous. And the condom covering him seemed like a sacrilege, but it was still like heaven. Although not the first time, this time felt different, maybe because there were no masks and only the two of them, and most certainly because of him kissing her.
Alice forgot everything, every reservation, every worry. All there was, was him, this amazing man, fucking her, carrying her, moving her to his own individual rhythm. His mouth was torturing her neck and mouth, taking away her ability to think, leaving her nothing else but feeling what he did to her. It was fucking amazing, feeling him entering her, spreading her, filling her up, making her moan.
Alice felt as if she was reliving her fantasies from years before. College, high school, when she was dreaming of the hottest, cutest guy, just fucking her, because he wanted her so desperately that he lost every reservation.
King of Diamonds – Jason – was doing just that, holding her, moving inside of her, fucking her, and she could do nothing but enjoy it, cling to his shoulders, place the one free hand she had on his cheek to guide his mouth back on hers.
This didn’t feel like an adventure of the Dark Alley at all. To her it could just have happened against the door that was separating her office from the meeting room at Grantham Global. It could have happened against her apartment door, which made it all the more exiting.
And apart from that, Alice found it extremely hot that he managed to hold her that easily, pushing her up against that door and still was able to fuck her like that. Just when she somehow finished that thought, he put her on the ground and flung her around, pressing her head against the door and instantly plunged back inside her, forcing her to arch her back. It was fucking delicious.
With her panties on the ground and her dress pushed up, Alice felt naughty, dirty even, bust most importantly: claimed. That very thought made her almost come, while he continued fucking her, almost as if he was angry, which made her tense around him even harder. He still wouldn’t stop, not allowing her to come, building up a high that made her twitch and tremble. His body smacked against hers, his breath brushed down her neck in sharp pants, his one hand dug into her hair, the other into her hip.
“Fuck, Alice.”
Hearing her name pushed her so very close to the edge, it felt as if she was already coming, but she was distracted by his lower hand moving down to her stomach, but it stayed there, teasing her.
“God, please,” she whimpered, out of breath.
“Say my name,” he demanded.
“Jason….” Alice obeyed.
His hand just needed to brush against her clit to make her come, hard, but he wouldn’t leave it at that. Instead, he pressed his fingers against the sensitive bud, rubbing it, increasing the sensation that was already drowning her. She wanted him to stop, but she couldn’t speak. Another powerful thrust had Alice bursting into a billion pieces, losing every sense, apart from him, coming inside her.
After pulling out, he held her against him tightly, so that she wouldn’t crash to the ground. As soon as she felt the strength return to her body, Alice turned around and rested her face against his neck, and he let her.
Alice did her best to keep all thoughts in the back of her head, not willing to listen to them. All she wanted was to enjoy this moment, to savor it and etch it into her memories. When it felt as if it was becoming awkward, she let go of him, casting her glance to the ground.
As a paper tissue entered her field of vision and she took it, wiping herself as clean as possible and brought her clothes back in order. After that she still didn’t dare to look at him, worried that she might not be able to keep her emotions in order. She didn’t want this to end, she didn’t want to leave this room and return back to normal.
“Alice,” Jason said her name again, tenderly, and she instinctively looked up at him, following the lead of his index finger.
He smiled at her, softly, and she tried to mirror the expression without the sadness that started to squeeze her heart. She kept looking at him, while he placed her mask on her face almost reverently, and when he put his own mask on.
“My offer still stands,” he told her, he took her hand and kissed her knuckles. “If there is anything you need, call me.
All she could do was nod.
“Let’s get you home,” her Mr. Scotch spoke and let go off her hand, and it felt as if he was taking all the heat of her body with it.

He had asked her if he should come with her on her ride home, and for a moment Alice even considered saying ‘yes’ and asking him if he could walk her to her apartment door, just to prolong this dream-like event. But Alice knew that King couldn’t do that, because of the consequences should someone see him. And that was why she declined.
Sitting in the back of the black sedan, Alice watched the lights passing by and didn’t see anything. At least now her mind seemed to be empty. She was worn and tired. When she got out of the car and walked up to the entrance of her apartment building, she didn’t realize that the driver was walking with her, but then looked at him.
“King of Diamonds requested that I accompany you to your apartment door,” he spoke and Alice nodded, not able to say another word.
Taking the stairs again, Alice was eager to just go back to bed and sleep way too long. Her watch showed that it was almost two in the morning and she was relieved that no one at work would notice or have a problem with her arriving at 10 am instead of 8 am. That was one of the benefits of her new position. Only one of the two assistants had to be at their desk by 10 am, not later. When Grace was back, Alice was even allowed to go to work whenever she felt like it as long as Grace was there and didn’t need her help. The downside was that there was an open end to how long one of them had to stay. It could easily be 10 pm if there was a meeting or something similar.
“Thank you,” Alice told the driver when they arrived at her door, and blinked in confusion, as he didn’t leave.
“Until you are in your apartment, Miss,” the elder man smiled at her, friendly.
“What a service,” she smiled, but her smile vanished into thin air as she switched on the light and saw countless pictures scattered across the floor of her apartment.
Alice wasn’t able to utter even a sound. Instantly, her breath turned shallow, and she tried to calm herself down by pressing her palm against her chest. She had been right. Someone had been in her apartment when she came back from her date with Tristan, and now, after going to the Dark Alley that person had returned. This time, without a present, but worse. Alice knelt down, taking a few of the photographs that were spread everywhere.
One blurred picture was showing her wearing Tristan’s jacket while he walked her to the restaurant. It had been taken today. Another one was her getting in Tristan’s car at her workplace, another showed Jimmy holding the door for her. The next she looked at showed her stepping out from the path leading to the Dark Alley.
“Miss?” The driver was still there, but Alice barely heard him.
There were hundreds of pictures covering the floor in front of her, many of them the same printed several times, but it always showed her. All of them not older than a few weeks, shot in the evening, in front of her home, her work place, and the Dark Alley.
“I’m calling security,” the driver said, but his words didn’t reach her mind as she crawled on all fours, as there was something that grabbed her attention, at the end of the flood of pictures that reached to her couch.
There were white snippets, covering a larger picture, but before she got there, she saw that now, on all images showing her with Tristan, he had been crossed with two thick dark lines. Alice gasped for air.
“Miss?” She was sure that the driver had addressed her several times now. “Miss? Do you want me to call the police?”
Alice reached out for the larger picture and pulled it from the little pieces of torn paper, that fell to the ground. The picture was again showing her, wearing the dress her admirer had given her, walking towards the Dark Alley, while turning around to check if someone was watching. She was circled with a white marker and next to her it was written: “You were supposed to wear it for me!”
“I’m calling the police,” the driver eventually said and Alice blinked, glancing at the snippets in front of her.
They weren’t from a picture. The paper was too thick and they had a pattern on the back.
“No!” Alice shouted, quickly turning around waving the driver off. “No police!”
The pieces of paper in her hand were from a card deck. Put together they showed one card over and over: The King of Diamonds.
“You need to tell security that someone is surveilling the entrance of the Dark Alley,” Alice forced her mind to work. “And that it has to be a member.”
Whoever had sent her the flowers and the dress, and now left this behind in her apartment, knew that she was involved with King of Diamonds. It didn’t make any sense otherwise.
“Here,” she showed the driver the snippets she had put together. “King of Diamonds.”
The eyes of the driver widened. He instantly dialed a number on his phone and started talking.
Alice suddenly felt sick and grossed out. She needed to get out of this dress immediately! Dropping what she was holding, she ran into her bathroom and yanked the dress from her body. She barely made it to the toilet in time, as she threw up whatever was left in her stomach.
“Miss?” the driver knocked against her bathroom door carefully. “Are you all, right? Security is on its way. Do you want me to call someone?”
Alice coughed, before she was able to speak. She was freezing, shaking all of the sudden. Who could she call? There was no way that she would stay in her apartment, when a stranger could enter it without problems. She didn’t want to imagine what could happen to her when he let himself in while she was sleeping. It was obvious that she had angered him.
“I’m… I’m okay,” she managed to speak loud enough. “Could you get my phone?
Alice used all the strength she could muster to pull herself up on her feet by using the basin next to the toilet. With shaky feet, she took the two steps towards the door where her bathrobe was hanging. Quickly she slid into the piece of clothing and opened the door carefully.
The driver was still there, standing in the middle of the flood of photographs, holding her clutch purse. As soon as he realized that she had opened the door, he handed it to her. But she shook her head.
“I’m sorry, I have a second phone,” she stepped out of the bathroom and quickly walked over to the counter of her kitchen, praying, begging that her stalker hadn’t found and taken her work phone.
It was still here. The relief of finding her calmed her revolting stomach and she took deep breaths.
“I’ll be waiting outside,” the driver offered but Alice shook her head.
“No, stay here, in case he is still here,” she told him. “Would you check on my bedroom?”
He nodded and went inside, taking a few moments to look around, before he stepped out.
“No one’s there,” he told her and she hastily ran inside and closed the door.
There was only one person she knew she could call. Only one person who could help, and protect her.
“Alice, are you all right?” Jason had answered his phone instantly and his voice was thick with worry.
“No, I’m not,” she answered, huskily. “The guy who sent me the dress broke into my apartment.” Alice wanted to continue, explaining the situation, but Jason cut her off.
“I’m on my way,” he told her, determinedly.
“No, you can’t,” she ignored his tone that didn’t leave any room for discussion. “There are photos all over the place showing me at the entrance of the Dark Alley, and snippets of the King of Diamonds, if you come here and he takes pictures of you, he can connect the dots.”
“Son of a bitch,” Jason was growling.
“Security from the Dark Alley is informed,” Alice added quickly, hoping that it would calm him, since she could hear him pace. “I just didn’t know who else to call.”
“You did the right thing calling me,” it was now Jason’s turn to calm her. “My guys will find that bastard, until then I will make sure that you are safe. Pack your things, I’ll send you my driver and he will take you to the Hilton and I’ll have a new place at one of our apartment buildings by the end of the day.”
>
“Jason…” Alice was lost for words, this was beyond necessary; her saying his name had him taking a pause.
“No, Alice,” he seemed to read her mind. “Narrow it down. I’ve put you into this mess, I will get you out of it. I promise you that.”
In a way, he was right. He invited her to the Dark Alley and it seemed obvious that, whoever was stalking her, was also a member of that club.
“Okay,” Alice nodded after a moment of consideration.
“You will stay at the hotel tomorrow, you won’t go to work, everything’s on me. Give yourself a nice day, use the spa, spoil yourself. I don’t want you out in the open until that bastard is found,” Jason spoke gently, and yet Alice knew that he wouldn’t tolerate a negative answer. “And I mean that. If the bill only shows three digits I will be very disappointed.”
Alice wanted to tell him that he was overreacting, but she couldn’t blame him. If she was in his shoes, she would act completely the same.
So, she opted for “Thank you.”
“No need to thank me, Bella,” he answered and it didn’t pass her by that he called her by his version of her Dark Alley name. “I don’t know if I will be able to call you tomorrow, but I’ll have them inform you and call you on this phone if there is any news, okay?”
“Okay,” Alice nodded again, even though she knew he wasn’t able to see it.
“Try to get some rest, you will be safe, I promise.”
“Okay.” What else could she tell him.
“Talk to you soon.” And with that, Jason Jeremiah Grantham, Alice’s Mr. Scotch, ended the phone call.
She was still busy packing, when the knock came at her apartment door, but the driver, who was still staying with her, checked, and let three men in, who were wearing suits. One of them carried a metal suitcase with him, which he placed on her coffee table and opened. Alice figured that the man would try to find any evidence on who her stalker was. Fingerprints maybe, or some sort of DNA. However, it was the third man, who approached her.
