The girl's mouth worked for a moment, she definitely did look younger though I was starting to have trouble telling the age on anyone who was younger than about twenty-five even though I was only about five years older than that. She stared for a moment, and then she turned in a huff. "Let's go!"
Her friend looked to her and then to us, then followed. They stormed off. I'd like to joke that I could feel the vibrations, but that wasn't really the case. Besides, it's not like that was a terribly charitable thought. Kate certainly wouldn't appreciate it.
"What a bitch!" Kate said.
"I'm right with you on that one," I said. "She was probably just jealous of how damned good you look in that costume."
Kate rolled her eyes. "I just wish we could get along with other fans. I wish people didn't insist on getting into dick waving contests at these conventions!"
"I'm right with you on that babe," I said. "But I don't think it's going to change anytime soon."
Kate sighed and turned back to her inspection of the schedule. It looked like he was definitely gone for the rest of the day. Our first chance to see him was going to be around 11 o'clock tomorrow morning, and then he'd be in and out for the rest of the morning and afternoon.
I shrugged. "Looks like we missed him," I said. "But there's always tomorrow!"
"Yeah, let's get some dinner," Kate said. "There's always tomorrow, and it's going to be one hell of a day!"
I still thought she was crazy. I still thought there wasn't a very good chance this would actually go anywhere. But at the same time I was willing to indulge her. More than anything I found myself hoping she wasn't crazy. That she actually would succeed. Because that would be fucking hot!
And it would finally give me something interesting to think about during those scenes when Keith Trent was shirtless on TV. The memory of him with my wife would forever make those scenes worth it. Well, worth it beyond getting her worked up.
Tomorrow was going to be an interesting day.
12: Queuing Up
"Are you ready?" she asked.
I looked at the crowd surrounding us. We close to where we'd been the day before. She was back in her costume and it looked every bit as stunning today as it had the day before. She looked every bit as stunning today as she had the day before. Maybe even more so, because she'd put extra effort into looking good considering what she was planning for today.
"I guess I'm as ready as I'll ever be," I said. "Though I still don't think this is going to work."
It was considerably more difficult to make our way through the crowd today than it had been the night before. Mostly because there actually was a crowd out on the convention floor today. There was that long line of women stretching around the edge of the dealer hall. There were other people crowding in shorter lines to see other celebrities.
I noted with interest that Sierra Knight was nowhere to be found. There were guys standing there looking disappointed, and it looked like from her schedule she should have been there, but nothing. There was just someone with a convention center polo on who was talking to some angry guys at the front of the line. Amazing that she was so hot that she could get a line to form even when she wasn't there. There was also somebody who looked to be part of the convention center security staff who was talking into a radio.
Obviously nobody expected her to be MIA today. I wondered what was going on there, but then I was pulled away and we made our way towards the booth where Keith Trent was waiting. I knew he was waiting there because of the aforementioned line of women, gay guys, and unfortunate boyfriends and husbands who were getting dragged along to meet their wife's favorite shirtless actor.
Of course if those guys were anything like me they'd probably enjoy reaping some the benefits they'd get from meeting Keith. I had a feeling most of the women in that line were exactly like my wife in that respect.
Still, that was one hell of a line. I looked at it, my eyes ran down the entire length, and I realized that we would potentially be waiting in line for hours to see him. I looked to my wife wondering if we were about to wait those hours. There was never any question that I'd be waiting those hours in line if she wanted to.
Only her expression told me that maybe there'd be a reprieve. Her eyes ran down the long line and then returned to the booth where Keith was presumably signing, though we couldn't see anything since he was hidden away behind the curtains that passed for "walls" on most of the con booths.
Kate tapped a finger against her chin, a sure sign she was thinking things over. Though I had no idea exactly what it was she was thinking over. I hoped she was thinking that we could come back later and beat what was obviously a morning rush to get Keith's signature. It didn't look like most of the people who were in that rush would be seeing much of the rest of the convention any time soon.
"Penny for your thoughts," I said.
" I was just thinking that I'm not really in a mood to wait in line for hours," she said.
"Then what are you in a mood for?" I asked.
She looked at me with a thin smile on her face. I had a feeling she knew exactly what I was hoping for, and the fact that she was looking at me with that "got you" smile told me that wasn't probably in the cards. Still, a guy could hope.
"Not going back to the hotel room if that's what you're thinking big boy," she said.
Damn.
She reached into her top, giving me a view of her tits for a moment and I licked my lips. I glanced around and saw at least one guy stop mid-stride which caused a chain reaction backup of traffic in the hall with people slamming into him, though he had enough heft that the telescoping line of people hitting him didn't seem to faze the guy. He stared, slack-jawed, as my wife's tits came into view and disappeared again behind her costume as she pulled out a card. A card that was covered in swirling colors and had an image of a girl in a costume on the front.
"I was thinking maybe we could stop by that booth," she said. "Something tells me we might be able to have a little fun there."
I thought back to the hottie who'd approached us yesterday. I thought about how sexy she'd looked. How she'd seemed a little unsure of herself, but also seemed interested in both me and the missus. Well, it was probably wishful thinking hoping that she was interested in me as much as she was interested in Kate, but stranger things had already happened on this visit to the convention.
Yeah, I was definitely up for another meeting with her.
"I just hope she's still there," Kate said.
"Lead on," I said.
And so we left the crowded confines of the actor's alley and plunged back into the dealer hall proper which was rapidly filling up as more and more people streamed in from their hotel rooms. I glanced back at the line for Keith Trent's booth and noted that it seemed to be getting longer rather than shorter, but I didn't say anything to Kate.
Maybe it was selfish, but I couldn't help but think that if I mentioned the line was getting longer rather than shorter then it might convince my wife it was a good idea to go ahead and wait in line after all. Even with my phone to occupy me I didn't think I could handle waiting that long for a chance to meet a guy that I didn't particularly care about meeting in the first place beyond the potential for that meeting to get my wife hotter than an egg on a sidewalk in the middle of Phoenix in the summer.
That wasn't the most selfish reason for not telling her the line was getting longer though. No, the main reason I was reluctant to say anything about that line was because getting in line meant we wouldn't be going to see the hottie at that Costume Damsels booth.
I really wanted to see that girl and the Costume Damsels booth.
So I kept quiet. The line had to go down by the time we got back. It couldn't possibly keep getting longer throughout the day. We'd just got caught up in the morning rush. That's what it had to be.
I looked over my shoulder one more time. The line was even longer. Damn.
13: Diversions
Navigating the rapidly filling dealer hall was a
bit of trouble. Getting anywhere in that place was next to impossible due to a combination of the narrow aisles, the press of bodies, and the way groups of people would stop to rubberneck in front of a particularly popular booth.
And it looked like the most popular booths were the ones that had something to do with women in skimpy clothes. We passed one booth that was selling figures imported from Japan from some popular anime or manga. Something like that. I couldn’t really tell. I wasn’t a huge anime dork. No, video games were my drug of choice, thank you very much.
Then there was the booth where they had pillows and towels with female anime characters plastered on them. Female anime characters who were wearing entirely too little, in my humble opinion. Some of them also looked entirely too young. The crowd in front of that particular booth was larger than I cared to think about.
Both in terms of stomach girth and the size of the crowd. Burn!
And of course none of that was taking into account the crowd that seemed to gather around Kate and me wherever we went. It seemed like we still couldn’t take more than two or three steps without somebody standing in front of us with a camera held out, or a flash going off right in front of us. I had to blink the bright spots away every five or six steps to make sure I could still see where I was going. I had to step in front of Kate on more than one occasion to make sure a flash didn't go off right in her face, and there were a couple of occasions when she very nearly swatted a phone or an expensive looking camera out of some guy's hands and I had to step in between before the person who very nearly lost their expensive piece of equipment got dangerously belligerent.
Not that I figured we'd actually get into a fight in the middle of the convention center. Security would probably kick everyone out before it came to that, but that also meant getting kicked out of the convention center which was the last thing I wanted considering all of the potential fun we'd be missing out on.
Best to just avoid the whole fighting thing to begin with.
We managed to avoid most trouble by hunching our shoulders down, moving through the crowd as quickly as possible, dodging around people as best we could, and glaring at anybody who got too close with a camera. Luckily most of the guys who were creepy enough to try and take my wife's picture without bothering to ask were also the sort who shied away from something as terrifying as a glare. They might have no shame when they didn’t think either of us were looking, but they folded like a paper tiger the instant my gaze fell on them. Some of them actually ran when they saw Kate glaring at them.
Through a combination of ignoring people and glaring at the ones who didn’t catch the hint when we ignored them we finally managed to make it to our destination. And we screeched to a stop against a massive crowd that seemed to be covering almost an entire length of a hall. The crowd here was almost as bad as the crowd in front of Keith Trent's except it was focused into one area in front of a booth rather than a long line running around the edge of the hall.
Now that I saw the booth I realized we'd passed by yesterday, though even then we hadn't gotten too close because there was a crowd at least five people thick surrounding the place. The crowd had been smaller yesterday but that was to be expected. It was just Friday, but the number of people at the convention tended to get bigger the closer we got to the weekend. The place would be packed wall to wall tomorrow.
Looking over the crowd at some of the pictures on display at the booth I could see why it was so popular. There were posters of attractive girls in various states of undress, though none of them were completely naked. No, something told me the convention would take a dim view of that. Still, some of those posters promised things that were definitely more titillating than your typical PG-13 image.
"Well I guess there's nothing for it," Kate said. "Let's go."
She nodded. Straight into the crowd of guys.
“Are you serious?” I asked. I thought about all the craziness we'd dealt with just trying to get over here. Wading into that crowd, particularly a crowd that was there just to see pretty girls in costumes wearing practically nothing, felt insane.
Kate raised an eyebrow. “What?”
“If we go into the middle of that crowd they’re going to eat you alive,” I said.
Kate rolled her eyes and started into the crowd. She looked over her shoulder as though to ask me, “are you following?” I sighed and after a moment’s hesitation I dove in after her. Besides, I figured if she was going into that crowd then she'd need me to keep people from getting too handsy.
One of the dangers of wading into the middle of a huge crowd at a convention like this is that we were suddenly in the middle of a large group of sweaty bodies and people who didn’t necessarily have a proclivity for things like showers or deodorant. I found myself wishing I’d taken a deep breath and held it before I made my way into the crowd, but I just had to make the best of it. I concentrated on following Kate, keeping her in sight in front of me. As long as I could see her I figured everything would be okay. As long as we kept moving, I figured she wasn't in too much danger.
Besides, even if we were wading into the middle of a potentially dangerous crowd I was still hot at the idea of guys checking out my wife. I was getting one hell of a show as guys realized there was a sexy girl pushing past them in addition to the sexy girls waiting at the booth, but she was always past them before they could react. If anything the press of the crowd was working in our favor. People were too close together to get out their phones fast enough.
Thankfully Kate didn’t get stopped and outright groped by anybody. We ducked and weaved through the crowd, and then a moment later we broke through to the front with only a minimum of jostling. It helped that as soon as people turned and saw us moving through the crowd they parted and moved out of the way. Maybe they thought Kate worked at the booth or something? She was certainly hot enough to pull it off!
We finally broke through the crowd and stood in front of a booth that looked for all the world like some giant monster that subsisted on a diet entirely of pink lace vomited all over the place. Girls in costumes from wildly different franchises moved around in front of the booth working the crowd, behind the booth showing the pictures to convention goers, and some of them were taking people back through a curtain, presumably to a room they had set up in back. The only common thing between all of the costumes were they were all "sexy" versions of said costume, even if it wasn't a costume that was intended to be sexy. The girls at this booth found a way to make it work.
I looked at the sign hanging over them. “Costume Damsels.” We were definitely in the right place.
"Damn," Kate said as she put her hands on her hips and surveyed the women on offer at the booth. As I enjoyed the sights I had to agree with her.
"Oh my God! You came!"
It was a high-pitched squeal I hadn't heard since my college days when we used to go out to the bars where sorority girls tended to congregate and let out their high-pitched calls. I turned to see Tiffany looking at us from where her head was popped out behind that curtain people kept disappearing in and out of. She stepped out, a huge grin on her face.
Tiffany was in a different outfit today, not that I was particularly complaining because it was just as hot, if not more so, than the plastic bikini she wore the day before. She was in a green top and skirt that I recognized as the heroine Fialux from the comic series of the same name. She even had the impossibly bright red hair today, though I that had to be a wig considering the blonde hair yesterday. Particularly considering that hair wasn't any color to be found in nature. Still, it fit the costume and it was damn sexy given the whole.
Tiffany bridged the gap between us, coming around the table and wrapping my wife in a huge hug. My cock twitched as I saw the two of them coming together like that and thoughts of them coming together in a far more intimate embrace went flashing through my head.
I wasn't the only one who seemed to be having those sorts of naughty thoughts either. We got more than a few jealous glances fr
om the people standing around the booth. It really was entrancing the way Tiffany's costume left absolutely nothing to the imagination. The way she was bouncing in it was absolutely hypnotic.
Tiffany glanced over her shoulder towards the curtain she'd come from.
"Come back here," she said, gesturing us towards the curtains. "I want to give you two the super special tour. I promise you won't get in trouble as long as you're with me."
I licked my lips as I looked at Kate and she smiled at me. We had one of our marriage telepathy moments. I'm sure my wife knew exactly what sort of trouble I'd like to get up to with this hottie hidden back there where no one could see us. The only question was, what kind of trouble would my wife like to get up to? Did she merely have the interest of a hobbyist talking to a hobbyist, or was there something more there?
Because I definitely got the feeling there was something more there when I saw how Tiffany looked at my wife!
"What do you say honey?" I asked.
She leaned in close to me and whispered, so quiet that even the people standing right next to us at the booth probably couldn't hear.
"I'd say you owe me for this," she said. "But that girl is fucking hot and I want it as much as you probably do."
Yeah, I very nearly came in my pants when she said that. Things were definitely getting very interesting. Very interesting indeed!
14: Costumed Dalliance
And with that I found myself being ushered through a pink curtain into that the back area. When we stepped through the curtain I realized the place was actually far larger than I originally suspected. It looked like they’d rented out not only their own booth space, but the booth space for the place right behind them and beside them as well. What they’d put together was massive, at least massive in terms of real estate at the convention, area where models were talking with guys, presumably for a little extra money, though it definitely didn't look like anything more than conversation was happening. And then behind that there was a steady stream of girls walking in and out of what I could only assume was a changing area. There didn’t seem to be anybody who wasn’t a model going into that area.
