Heart of the Pack Page 23

by Jenny Frame

  “Oh God, Caden, bite me.”

Caden could feel Lena’s wetness on her hard erect clit and couldn’t help but start to thrust. “I’ve missed my mate this week. I have so much to give you,” Caden said.

She kissed and sucked at Lena’s breasts, Caden’s favorite places to touch and bite, kiss and lavish with attention. They were so full, so female and fertile. Lena writhed under her.

  “Caden, please?”

Her hips started to thrust in response to the need in Lena’s voice. “I’ll give you what you need, always. I can scent how ready you are, mate.”

Caden latched onto the mating spot on her neck and kissed and licked, preparing the area. She slowed her thrusts, and Lena groaned.

“Don’t stop, Cade. I love you.”

“I love you, Goddess, and I’m going to make you mine.” She grasped Lena’s chin and rumbled a growl, commanding her mate to submit.

Lena looked away and bared her neck. “I’m yours.”

Caden ran her tongue the length of her neck and said, “I have pledged to protect and provide for you before our pack, and now I claim your body and your soul as mine evermore.” Caden bit down hard, and Lena gave a high-pitched groan, while her slick, hot sex undulated, begging Caden to thrust.

The pain and pleasure sensation was so overwhelming that Lena felt light-headed and almost passed out. As Caden’s saliva dripped from her canines into the fresh wound she had made, Lena felt a powerful heat race from the wound and travel to every cell in her body.

Warmth and pleasure crashed through her cells, and slowly she began to become aware of Caden’s thoughts.

  I love you, Goddess.

Caden pulled her teeth from Lena’s flesh and lifted her head to howl to all who heard that Lena was now hers, and off-limits to everyone but her.

Lena should have been scared, watching her own blood drip off Caden’s fangs as she howled, but she wasn’t. She felt complete for the first time in her life. She was Caden’s mate and that was her rightful place.

She reached up and tenderly trailed her fingers down Caden’s chest. She used her mind to communicate with Caden. I love you so much, Caden.

Caden looked down at her quizzically. You can hear me?

No one quite knew the effect the mating bite would have on her. The Alpha hadn’t known humans to feel the full effect of a mate before, but the Mater’s blood now flowed in Lena.

I can feel everything, Caden. Your love, your heat, your want. Take what you need, Wolf. Fill up my belly.

Caden howled and began thrusting hard and fast. “I’m going to fill you, mate. Take it for me?”

  Always, Lena vowed.

Caden placed Lena’s legs over her own shoulders to get as close as possible. The sound of slapping flesh and Caden’s moans brought Lena to the edge of her orgasm.

“Fill me now,” Lena shouted as her orgasm tumbled over and heat and pleasure rushed throughout her body.

Caden gave a howling cry as she came hard, and Lena felt the warmth of her essence enter her body.

Her mate collapsed onto her and shook. “I’ve never felt anything like that before in my life. I love you, Goddess, and I can’t survive without you.”

Lena took Caden’s hand and placed it on her heart. “Your strength gave me the courage to come out from the shadows and become the person I was always meant to be. I could never have done it without you. And I will never leave your side. You have given me a family and your heart. I love you.”

Caden kissed the moonstone ring on her finger. “You’ve given me a reason for being, Selena Miller, and I’m going to treasure you forever. You have completed me.”

They lay quietly, enjoying the sounds of the forest outside the window, as Caden’s bite weaved their hearts and their souls into one.
