The Space In Between Page 37

by Melyssa Winchester

I love you, Christian, and even though it is spoken so casually these days, effectively losing its real meaning, I mean every word.

I am watching over you from wherever God has seen fit for me to be and I’m proud of you.

The boy you are now and the man you will become as time continues to move, is a man any girl would be lucky to have, but that the best girl has already found.

Thank you for giving me the best thirteen years of my life, and when you see your girl again, tell her your mom approves.

  Love Always, Mom

If it weren’t for all four of you being the awesomesauce kids that you are, this book never would have seen the light of day because it never would have gotten finished. So for allowing me the chance and time to do this crazy dream of mine, while at the same time showing me each and every day what true love for another person really is, thank you. I love you.

  Joey

My guard dog, best friend, co-author, beta reader and overall superhero, thank you for all of your love and support while I spent most days ignoring you and our story together to write Christian and Emery’s tale. It means the world to me, just as you do. Forever and Always <3

  Pamela Sparkman

You are so much more to me than a beta reader and fellow writer. You’re also my best friend and I thank God that you are a part of my life each and every day. Thank you for your non-stop support of this project and all the others. You will never truly know how much it means to me, but I’m hope that seeing your name here shows you at least a little. At least until I can tell you again in oh say, ten minutes.

  Tim

You’re probably going to wonder why the hell your name is here and that’s cool. I suppose that was what I was going for, but here’s where I explain. When faced with a particularly hard scene, one that was pretty much killing me to write because I just couldn’t hit the right note where Emery and Christian were concerned, there you were with your music choices and as always they were perfect. So my favorite lunatic, this thank you is for you! Thank you.

  My Beta-Readers

Each and every one of you that have scoured over this book in each and every stage, offering insight and support and telling me when things just plain sucked, and loving the characters as much as I did, thank you so very much. What you do for me, for these books and the characters between the pages will never go unnoticed or unappreciated. You ladies and gents are the very best and I’m honored to have you.

  Bloggers & Supporters

To each and every one of you out there that share teasers, links, sign up for cover reveals and blog tours, getting the word out to the world about books you like, authors you love and words that make the world go round, from all of us authors (but mostly myself since it’s my book), thank you so much for all that you’ve done, and will continue to do. I freaking love your faces.

  My Readers

Just like these stories wouldn’t exist without a lot of work from the above mentioned people, they also wouldn’t succeed at all if it wasn’t for all of you. You make me what I am and I am honored every second of every day that you took a chance on anything that I wrote and I always will be. Without you there is no me, of that you can be assured. I love all of your faces <3

  About The Author

Melyssa is a mother of four from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Previously spending her daylight hours freelance editing for friends and family, she happily traded in her gig for a rewarding career writing young adult novels. The best part being that in working from home, she gets to spend more time with her own set of real life angels.

She’s currently working on standalone titles, Heroine and Remembering Sunday.

When she’s not writing, you can find her buried under the covers with her portable DVD player, watching marathons of Supernatural and Veronica Mars. When those aren’t available, she can be found curled up in a corner with her e-reader and a plethora of books, falling in love with characters written so well she deems them her book boyfriends and girlfriends. If you want to find her, check Facebook or Twitter (@WinchesterBooks) as she may just have an addiction to both. If those don’t work you can always keep up with her progress on her personal site.
