  Please do not leave me

Nayla had come to the hospital running down the aisles, watching everything in slow motion, her face tearful. I was so afraid of losing Esteban right now that they were so well. After begging the doctor to let her see him, in the face of despair he had no choice but to authorize a brief visit, not least because he had seen him calling for his girlfriend all the time before going into coma in the middle of surgery to contain an internal hemorrhage, she cried out for her presence, repeating her name several times, so desperately that Dr. Jorge, the general practitioner, moved.

When she entered the room, she was immensely worried about the state that Stephen was in lying in a bed, connected to more than twelve devices that kept him alive, his face full of bruises, unrecognizable. The hair is now cut short, all crooked, cruelly. A cut the scene from anyone's heart, but he was not alone, the window was ajar with the raven resting on it in readiness, watching him. When he saw it, Nay shook his head, showing that he was there and flew away, leaving them alone.

  - Hi love! -She sat down beside the bed, smoothing his face carefully, avoiding the bruised part.

Stephen's breathing was weak, a worrying state. At that moment Nayla realized how much she loved him and that it would be impossible to go on living without him. Most people have always been afraid of Salvatore's exotic appearance; she loved him for the same reason. He knew he was unique, made especially to be his.

Nay's tears spilled over the white sheet as she bent down to touch his lips with hers, full of love and hope. Eyes closed, he remembered how their first night of love had been, how perfect it had been. First, they went out for a romantic dinner. She had a friend who owned a famous restaurant, who closed the place for one day only to welcome the couple in love with everything they were entitled to. When he had finished they went to Stephen's house in the country? The two entered hand in hand, his sweat was non-stop, he was nervous.

-What if I do not know what to do, Nayla? - Stephen's gaze was uncertain, timid. They were in the bedroom, standing to face each other.

  - I'll teach you! - She held both his hands, her head held high in the back of his beloved eyes, which were as black as night.

Nayla approached him and helped him take off his shirt he closed his eyes when he felt a hot kiss on his big, pale chest. And he opened his eyes to see her smiling beautifully at that moment he was sure that this would be the best night of his life.

  - I love you, Nayla! - It was the first time Stephen had said this to anyone.

Not even Bobbi had said it, but he always showed he could, every day. In his way of course, this statement even took the Englishman by surprise, how can he, without feelings love someone? But it happened, in fact, since she was sixteen and had seen the new girl from school come into her room, a pretty black woman who liked to use hair flowers. Full of brightness and colors, loving and extroverted, all that was lacking in him, that is, Nayla completed it.

-No more than I, I loved you the second I saw you for the first time.

Estevão kissed her, trying to fight the nervousness. After the kiss, Nayla reached for the handle of the white silk sweater and pushed it down, she did the same with the other and the piece fell to the hips.

  - Oh my God!

Stephen stood motionless, watching over the candlelight his beloved walk to the bed and sit on it directly in front of her, naked for him. She was beautiful and delicate as a blooming flower. So confident and confident she did.

-Come here, my dear. - With her forefinger, the stylist called him, with malice in his eyes.

He came closer, until he raised himself above her, searching her eyes, as he saw his hands to the button of his pants, opening it.

-It's like this... anyway? - Estevão asked, startled, watching his hard, stone member pointing upward, seeming to have a life of its own. She had become aroused at other times near her, but she never got to be that way.

  - It could not be better. -Nayla laid a kiss on the tip, which, unlike the rest of her body, was a pinkish color, alive. And, live boot on that. It had a size considerably large, thick with veins exploding in its length.

  - I love you! - He repeated, it was so intense that he had to repeat it several times.

  - Lay in bed. -Nay asked, and he obeyed, staring at the ceiling a little uneasily.

She stood over him leaning with one arm on either side of Stephen's body to speak looking into his eyes.

-Usually, men like to stay on top, but since they do not have much experience, I'll be in charge today, - he explained, and he just nodded in silence.

-I'm ready to be loved by you! - Esteva's cheeks for the first time were actually stained, in a strong red hue, turning his face to the side with shame.

  - Already. - He kissed her mouth, hot and fervent. Nayla kissed him until they had to walk away, out of breath and met Stephen's gaze, two sparkling blue spheres opened, dilated. She could see in his face how much he wanted her, just as she wanted him. And they kept their eyes fixed on each other all the time they did not stray even for a second.

  - I love you! -He said again, he had to say.

Their fingers were attached to the pillow, sharing the same grip, Estevão even though more confident now still trembled.

-I love you, too, honey, more than anything!

A long strand of Stephen's hair was over his face, capturing the sight of the beauty Nayla could only see in him. She pushed it behind her ear and touched her lips for a few seconds. Because they took contraceptives and trusted one another, they did not use condoms. They came to the end in a hug, as if they were one. The Englishman was all sweaty and with his hair scattered all over the bed, as if a hurricane had passed through him, a hurricane named Nayla Rodrigues.

  - Was good? - Stephen closed and opened his eyes slowly to taste the sweet sound of her voice, his love...

  - I have no words to describe! Can we do it again? - But this time I'm on top, I've learned enough. In a quick spin, I was on top of her, wanting more. Since then they have not stopped, making love had become a hobby for them.

-You can´t leave me, Stephen, not now! - She leaned over the hospital bed, her mouth near his ear, she whispered. - I'm Pregnant.

Then she felt his hand squeezing hers lightly as if to say, -I'm not going anywhere.

  Chapter 29

It was already night when Maria Joaquim saw from the living room window a modern but strange car, arriving and parking in front of her sister's house. Her heart pounded as she realized that whoever was driving was the so-called "plumber" who took her seriously and annoyed her. Consequently, more doubts began to linger in his mind. Who, in fact, was this man of that size? And what did he want with Jesse?

She was even more confused when the daughter came out of the car and a small Chinese man sulked. After the three of them talked for a long time, they shared a collective hug, full of emotion, as if they were making up and left. Jesse then bowed his head.

-Where did you spend the night, young lady? And who were these men who were talking to you in the garden? - Maria Joaquim did not raise her voice to her daughters, but she did not hesitate if she had to.

-Not now, Mother, please! - Jesse's voice trailed off, that was not really a good time to talk.

She was nervous about Blade's last words, "breaking even" and worried about what he might be planning to do it.

-Please, daughter, talk to me! Where's the nice guy who came to be your date at the prom and what the plumber in your building does here? - There were so many doubts and strange people behind Jesse that Maria Joaquim was beginning to think that her daughter was involved in something wrong.

-They're my friends you do not have to worry. -Jesse took a deep breath, trying to keep her cool and not take her anger out on his mother.

-I'm not recognizing you anymore, my daughter, you do not trust me anymore to share your problems. If I knew what was happening I could help two heads think better than one?

Jesse looked at his mother and saw the concern in
her eyes, but how to explain to her that she saw her ex-husband beating the friend of the man he loved and the worst, enjoying it? But on the other hand, he was a dangerous thug as well as the two partners who had been with her a few moments before, from the worst that existed.

-Do not worry, Mom, it is okay! -She forced a smile to confirm what he said and hugged her tightly. - I love you, thank you for always worrying about me. I just do not like it here and I want to go home. I already bought my ticket back to Los Angeles on an early morning flight. It was the only one that had a vacancy, if you and Mainara want, you can stay, but I'm going.

Maria Joaquim knew that her daughter was lying, but she did not insist. She would wait until she feels comfortable and confident to speak.

-If you will, we will too, daughter! - A real mother never abandons a child, and her sister would not want to stay here without us either. Maria Joaquim did not know what was happening to make Jesse so sad, but she had a bad feeling as if some great tragedy was about to happen.

As their flight made several stopovers, they spent almost all day traveling. They arrived at the Los Angeles airport in the afternoon and were a bit confused to realize that everyone looked at them as if they were Hollywood celebrities. They were looks and whispers, but no one had the courage to reach them and say the reason for the uproar. The strangest thing for Jesse was that the partner, Hugo Rodrigues, was waiting for them at the airport with a face of crying and worry.

-What are you doing here, Hugo? - Jesse greeted his partner with a warm embrace.

-Have not you seen the newspaper? It is giving all the time, in all channels. -They stopped normal programming and said nothing else.

  - What do you mean, Hugo? Whatever you're talking about, -I'm getting scared. Hoping for the worst, Jesse started to cry. And Blade's name was the first thing that came to her mind. Now, in addition to being scared, I was scared too.

-I tried to call you a thousand times when it all happened glad you were not there to see. - Hugo closed his sad eyes as if he remembering something horrible. -But it only fell into the mailbox, so I remembers that I had traveled to your aunt's home in Canada, obviously, I figured your cell phone should be off because it was inside the plane. - I hacked the flight list from the airport, and I saw that your name was on that one. That's why I'm here to support you at that moment, "he explained, hitting his glasses. He really was a genius in everything he did.

  - Mother. Come here! - Cried Mainara desperate. He had stopped at a snack bar in the airport food court and bought a coffee to keep him awake as they woke up early to catch the flight. Frightened, Jesse and Maria Joaquim rushed out to see what was happening. The investigator was as shocked as her sister when she saw the report on a huge television set on the wall in the afternoon newspaper.

At that very moment, the bandit Blade Maldonado was in a bar on the famous south side of town, where only the baddies of the worst kind frequented, stuffing their faces, thinking of Jesse, what he had done, and especially how he would fix things. He was sitting at the counter about to bring his glass of whiskey to his mouth, but he froze as he heard on the radio a report that made everyone in the bar scream and whistle for joy. The death of a police officer was already a party, can you imagine the death of twenty-three?

The 28/11 the year of 2012 will be marked by the tragedy that struck Los Angeles, where twenty-three police officers were brutally beaten, then thrown to their knees and shot with hundreds of shots, just as they did many years ago with the most wanted bandit couple of all time, the Maldonado. All were members of the team that worked on the ambush, which was marked in the 20th century. But their son, Blade, the last of his bad lineage, was alive to inherit the business in the crime. Even with all the efforts of justice, no one has ever been able to lay hands on him or on any of the men in his shoe, known as "The Fearless Men," who have already stolen billions of dollars across the country. Finally, the bodies of 22 police officers were found sadly by a member of the family, one of them by his eight-year-old daughter when he arrived from school. The curious thing was that the assassin left a mark written on the wall, the initials B.M. with the blood of the victims themselves, a fact that does not have to be very intelligent to know what it means. But one of the bodies, the twenty-third, unlike the others, was found cut into several pieces and placed inside a black trash bag in front of the FBI criminal department. This body was from Major Fill Carter who worked there for many years until he resigned recently, for an undisclosed reason. According to coroners, Major Carter was quartered alive seeing the pieces of his body being cut one by one, slowly. In front of the building were also written the same initials "B.M", so that everyone knew that he was there. The head of the Los Angeles investigation has now said little if it is a case of revenge. They received an anonymous tip-off from a witness saying they saw a man with tattoos and bad-looking tattoos pulling out a black bag from inside the trunk of a 1967 Impala car. What we all want to know is why, after all this time did the son decide to settle the bills, avenge his parents' death? Now, as in the western era, pamphlets are being spread everywhere with the killer's spoken picture and a million-dollar reward will be paid to whoever renders this cruel killer, dead or alive.

-What the fuck? - Blade practically screamed. This time he had not done anything like that, despite he wanted to.

Willingness to kill Jesse's father did not fail him, that was the truth, as well as all the others who participated in the death of his parents. And he envied whoever did it, even though he knew it was to blame him later.

When he left the hotel in Toronto he had even gone through his head doing much worse than that, had good creativity in the matter of torture. But then the price would be too high for him. As he drove away from her, in his mind came to the image of Jesse smiling sweetly. He thought that he would never see him with the same eyes again he would always be the man who killed her damn father, even though she knew he deserved that end. He was mature enough to understand that he would lose everything if he acted hot-headed without thinking. He remembered the promise he had made and even hating him with all his might, he would not touch a finger on he and did not touch it.

After he returned to Las Vegas, instead of doing this bullshit, he had done something else, much more important and stayed there all night... And when the day dawned, he had to leave. He searched for some old contacts on the south side of town to gather information on the mafia whose boss was Matteo Castelli and found he was more powerful than he had imagined. After getting what he wanted, he stopped at a bar to drink and think about how he would put his hand on the real culprit and apologize to his angel for having left her alone in Toronto, but what now? How he would solve this whole mess of his father's murder.

If it was difficult to be together before, after that it would be impossible. Jesse would not believe him and would never want to see him again. That would be the end of it all his days would be cold and rainy like an endless flood.

  - Is it a millionaire reward alive or dead? - Blade heard the sound of a shotgun being unlocked, the bar owner standing right in front of him with his gun pointed at his head and so many others behind him, all looking at the prize offered by the head of the last Maldonado.

-Really want to try this? - He sat quietly, drinking his whiskey quietly. He was not afraid of anything.

-It's nothing personal, Maldonado, but business is business - said a man with his front teeth all rotting and dirty clothes as if he had not bathed in years.

  - Meet you soon, in hell!

And in a perfect turn, the last Maldonado shot the lights in a fraction of seconds, leaving the place in a full pitch.

  - Where did he go? -The bar owner asked, lighting the lighter and no sign of Blade to tell history.

  - I never liked the drink from here! - Blade said from the outside, his back to the bar, listening to the place exploding in a thousand pieces.

How did he do it? No one could say, Maldonado thing. They were playing with fire they ended up burning, litera
lly.

He did not waste another second, went after Jesse to talk to her. With a thread of hope that she would believe him though knowing that through the facts it would be very difficult. He deduced that she would be at her mother's house, as well as a lot of people, neighbors, relatives and a hundred police friends of the late major. But that would not hold Blade, nothing would hold him. He needed to see her, talk to her. The villain he was in, inside the car a few yards from the Carter family home, could not see Jesse at any moment. When he thought of leaving, he heard Impala's door beating with all his might.

-Do not even think about doing that, - Julius commanded.

-And who's going to stop me, you? - Blade threatened to open the door, but Julius did not leave, holding his arm.

-Are not you having enough trouble? - And we will not even discuss whether or not you are guilty because I am on with you regardless of anything. Going after her with that lot of people will only make things worse, wait at least after the funeral.

Also, she is at the hospital with her mother since the afternoon travel arrival. Her mother has had a rise in pressure when she finds out in the news of her ex-husband's death. Julius was always sensible. Obviously, he would not count on visiting Estevão and took the opportunity to visit Maria Joaquim.

-You do not understand, man, what does she mean to me? The words were missing for Blade, even him has that answer.

-Yes, I understand, more than you realize, partner. So I'm trying to stop the purchase of this madness, this insanity. There is someone else who needs you now. - Julius pointed to where the car was parked a little ahead, with Bobbi sending the carriage crying. -He saw a report talking about the death of the cops and their looking for you dead or alive. - Came alone, came home desperate. When I told him about Stephen, he lost the ground once and for all.

Blade felt heartache as he saw the suffering of his younger brother and realized that Julius was right. Bobbi needed him now and looking for Jesse at that time would be a big mistake.
