Thanks to Oscar Senn for allowing me to use his wonderful painting “Shadow Walking” for the cover, and thanks to Charlie for helping to get this book to print. Thanks also to Aleta for your support and for backing me in this project. Thank you Fr. Bob for always being there (right Here), and thanks to Rich for heading me in the right direction. Nicole, and Wayne—how could I ever thank you enough for this freedom? Thank you Gary, Tom, Craig, Woody, Joe. And always, never last nor least, my profound thanks to my dear friend Walter.

  ABOUT THE AUTHOR

J.C. Amberchele was born in Philadelphia in 1940, attended a Quaker school, then colleges in Pennsylvania and New York, earning a B.A. in psychology. He first became interested in the nature of the Self in the 1960s when he took LSD, but didn’t become deeply involved in spiritual matters until after he went to prison several decades later. During that time he studied the works of Wei Wu Wei, Ramana Maharshi, Nisargadatta Maharaj, Byron Katie, and many others, until happening upon an article by Douglas Harding that allowed him to actually see Who he really was. Since then, he has been practicing Seeing, and is the author of four previous books on the subject published by Non-Duality Press. He was incarcerated for 18 months in a Mexican prison, and for 35 years in the U.S.
