Inextinguishable Love: Firefighter and Interracial Romance Page 50

by Kathleen Bunker

“You’re still horny?” Tim pulled on his clothes as he spoke.

“That’s not why I’m staying, buddy. I understand women. They hate to spend time with a guy and then wake up alone. It crushes their spirit, even if it’s only casual sex.”

“You’re a good man, Larry.” He crouched down to fasten his boots, then leaned in to shake Larry’s hand again. “Let me know how it goes, yeah?”

Larry grinned. “The way things went tonight? I think we both might be back here very soon.”

  “It was fun,” Tim said.

Larry stroked Terry’s hair. “It was more than fun for me.”

“Cool. I’ll see you at work, yeah?”

“Yeah. Don’t forget to pull the door closed.”

“Why? You scared I might come back for more?”

  “Get outta here, you pup!”

  “I’m gone.”

  ~

Terry was overjoyed when she woke, and Larry was snuggled up to her back. She’d fully expected the guys to disappear once she fell asleep, but she’d underestimated the more mature Larry.

“Thank you, sweetheart.” She kissed his arm, then slid carefully out his embrace and headed for the bathroom. Early light crept past the curtains. A quick check of the bathroom clock confirmed it was a little after sunrise. She relieved herself, then hurried back to bed, where she persuaded Larry’s arms to slide around her naked body once again. She fell into a dreamless sleep, although a secret smile stretched her lips. For now, she was happy, and nothing else mattered.

“So what happened?” Alice asked as she slid the coffee mugs onto the table. “Why wouldn’t you tell me on the phone?”

Terry smiled as she moved the menu holder aside, and arranged the salt and pepper into flanking positions. Alice slapped her hand.

“Stop wasting time! Tell me, or I’ll burst.”

“Two of them turned up at my apartment,” Terry began.

“I know that already. You phoned me. What happened next?”

  “I got dressed, and—”

“Wait, wait. You missed a bit. You missed a lot. What happened before you get dressed?”

“That’s what I’m trying to tell you. When I answered the door, I was only wearing a towel.”

“Uh… so you got dressed after they arrived?”

“Yep. And then they undressed me again.”

“Squee!” Alice clapped her hands. Several other customers glanced at her.

“This might not be the right venue for this story,” Terry said.

  “So tell it quietly.”

“As long as you stop squeaking.”

“I can’t help it. I’m excited. What happened next?”

“Okay, so after they carried me into the bedroom…”

“This is my favorite part.” Alice leaned closed, resting her chin in her palm.

“They both took turns with me.”

  “Squee!”

  ~

Alice begged for every detail, which Terry was happy to supply. Relating the tale helped to make it more real, and less like a crazy dream-fantasy. And having Larry next to her when she woke was further proof that the entire episode had really happened. He was her evidence… along with her aching thighs and buttocks.

“So did he stay for breakfast?”

Terry smiled. “I was his breakfast. At least, his first breakfast.”

“Oh my God, you had sex again?”

“It was more like making love, nothing like the threesome. He was kind and gentle and patient. And there seemed less of a rush. When Tim was there, I was always worried he might feel left out. Tim was good. Tim was rough, but he was a great lay.”

  “But you enjoyed Larry more?”

“He’s the one I’d choose if one of them was to be my partner.”

Alice touched her friend’s hand. “You love him?”

Terry shrugged. “It’s early days yet. But I really want to see him again.”

  “And Tim?”

“Yeah, I definitely want to see more of him.”

Alice snickered. “Didn’t you already see everything?”

“Okay, I want to see him more. But only if Larry is there too.”

“Maybe I could show up by accident next time? Join in the fun?”

“Hey, I thought you had someone already.”

“I do. I do…” Alice stirred her coffee froth with a fingertip. “And I like him.”

“So stay out of my threesome.”

“But if we both came along, it wouldn’t be a threesome any more, would it?”

“No, it would be an orgy!” Terry hissed. “And I’m not ready for anything like that—not yet, at least.”

“No, you’d best keep your relationships simple for now.” She smirked.

  “Smartass.”

“I know, right? So when are you guys meeting up again?”

“So you can ‘accidentally’ show up?”

“No, of course not. I’m interested, that’s all.”

“Tuesday night, when the guys finish their shift.”

  “And they’re both coming along?”

  “Mayyybe…”

  “You little tramp!”

“Hey, it was your idea, remember? ‘Enjoy yourself, honey. You’ll have twice the fun, honey.’”

  “I don’t rock my head when I talk… do I?”

  “But it was your idea.”

  “My bad?”

“No, you good.” Terry patted her friend’s arm. “It was a great idea.”

“So great, you’re doing it again.”

  “Definitely.”

“Have you thought about what you’re going to wear this time?”

“Well, now the ice has been broken, I might answer the door in my PJs and nothing else.”

“Weren’t you going to do that last time?”

“Yeah, until Tim showed up. Somehow it didn’t seem so funny with two of them there.”

  “But now it does?”

“Now it does. Besides, it’s only two pieces of clothing for them to remove, right? Or I could leave the jacket on for a while.” She shook her chest gently. “I’d swing freely in the breeze.”

  “I’ve created a monster…” April whispered.

“Yep. You’re one hundred percent to blame for this.” Terry squeezed April’s hand. “Thank you. If not for you…”

  “You’d still be normal.”

“Normal, shnormal. Who wants to be a square and date only one guy?”

April laughed. “It’s like that, then?”

“Yep. You’re shnormal. You’re ordinary people.”

  “Hah! Says Miss Please-I-need-your-help.”

  Terry shrugged. “I managed.”

  “You fell asleep on them!”

“It was past two in the morning. We’d been…” she dropped her voice. “Fucking for over six hours.”

“Hah!” Alice waved a dismissive hand. “Six hours. Come back to me when you manage eight.”

“That was with only one guy, Alice. And it as five years ago.”

“Yeah, well, he was a stud, okay?”

“These two were studs. And they were big boys… if you know what I mean.”

Alice raised an eyebrow. “You mean big big?”

  “Long and thick.”

“I definitely need to show up at your place Tuesday.”

  “Don’t you dare!”

“I’d sit in the corner.” Alice pouted. “I wouldn’t be any trouble.”

  “I don’t believe you for a second.”

“Okay, maybe I’d be some trouble. But not much.”

“April, you ain’t coming to the party.”

“I could bring wine. You like wine.”

“I’ll think about it, but for the next time. Not Tuesday.”

  “Aw…”

“Let me have my fun, bestie. I promise I’ll tell you all about it.”

“Okay. Make sure you remember everything.”

  “I will.”

  “Write some stuff down too.”

  “What?”

  “In case you forget.”

  “No.”

“Or you could record stuff on your phone. Send me a video.”

  “April…”

  “Too much?”

  “Definitely.”

“Okay, recording might be seen as kinky.”

  “I’ll remember it, don’t worry.”

  “Promise?”

  “I promise.”

  *****

Terry answered the door in her pajamas, exactly as she’d promised. The top button was subtly unfastened, and she wore no underwear. Larry stepped forward and hugged her, then moved aside so his buddy could enter.

Terry stared. Then she lifted her head and stared up at the six-foot-eight wall of black muscle that filled her doorway.

“Oh my fucking God…” she whispered.

  “Terry, this is Wayne.”

“Happy to meet you, Terry.” As Wayne spoke, his voice sounded like an idling bulldozer.

“I… uh… Tim?” Terry managed. She rested her neck and stared at Larry, who was already unbuttoning his shirt.

“Tim got held up. He’s training rookies for the next three hours. I figured you’d be bored if I came on my own, so I brought a buddy.”

“I…” Terry ran her gaze up Wayne’s huge body again.

“If you want, I can send him away. He’s solid muscle, with buns of steel. Plus, he’s hung like a horse.”

  “Hey!” Wayne rumbled.

  “A very big horse.”

“You’re scaring the lady,” Wayne said.

  “Uh… he’s right…” Terry said in a small voice.

“Okay, buddy. Maybe you should go. It’s a pity she’ll never see your party trick, though.”

“Party trick?” Terry was almost too afraid to ask.

“Yeah. I’ve seen him come six times in an hour, and he never goes limp.”

“Maybe too much information, buddy?” Wayne protested.

“It’s a pity…” Larry pushed against Wayne’s arm, urging him toward the door. Wayne didn’t even sway.

“He doesn’t have to go,” Terry said quietly. “He can stay if he wants.” She glanced down at his pants. A significant bulge travelled half-way down his right leg.

“I’ll stay, but only if you’re sure.”

Terry nodded. “I’m sure.” I think. Her tongue wetted her lips as she tried to imagine the night ahead. Tim had been good, but this guy? Oh, boy.

As she closed the door behind Wayne, Terry considered calling Alice for help. She might need it. Wayne looked big enough to break her.

Except Larry was enough of a gentleman to take care of her. And why should she share with Alice? Maybe it would turn out that Wayne was exactly what she needed—another new and thoroughly fulfilling experience. She smiled at her own joke.

“I’m heading off to bed, boys,” she said from the doorway. “Wayne, make yourself comfortable. Larry…” she beckoned to him with a finger. “Larry will be helping to get me ready for you, big guy. I think I’ll need some preparation before you join us. Is that okay?”

“It’s more than okay, Terry.” Wayne grinned. “It’ll take about a gallon to swell this monster up to full size.”

  “Oh my God…” Terry whispered.

“So I’ll see you when it’s fully inflated.”

“You’ll see me, alright.” She winked at him as he settled onto her sofa, which creaked in protest. “And I look forward to seeing more of you. A lot more of you.” She slipped her arm around Larry’s waist and guided him toward her bed.

“Now, lover boy. I’ve got something special in mind for you—as a reward for spooning with me all night.”

  “A reward?”

“Yep.” She unbuttoned her pajama jacket and pulled it open to expose her bare chest. “It’s called ‘take me however you want to.’ I’m all yours. Fuck me hard. Fuck me good.”

  “It would be my pleasure.”

“And make sure you get me really, really wet. I’m going to need it.”

  Bonus Story 16 of 44

  The New Normal

  Description

Love can build a bridge. Melinda Kemp has found happiness with a true American hero, Scott Mason. He is the man of her dreams. She knows he is hiding a part of himself he does not want to admit. She will bring the love of her life his fondest desire; namely, the man of his dreams, Dillon.

Scott Mason came back from Iraq ready to commit to Melinda. He is ready to start a family and live a normal, happy life. His only challenge is he still has feelings for his ex-lover, Dillon Ward.

Dillon is a hard-working cowboy who loves who he loves and that is Scott; a fact that Dillon realized too late when Scott joined the service.

Years later, Dillon is still single. He will not settle for less than his heart’s desire. He wonders if life will ever bring him happiness. Melinda will show both men there enough love to go around.

  *****

Just a few more hours, Melina Kemp reminded herself. The room looked festive but not too overdone. “I know Scott has only been gone six months, but he deserves a hero’s welcome back.” She looked over at the enlarged photo of Scott in his Army uniform and smiled, so handsome.

“If there are cold beers and a dart board, I’m sure Scott is going to have a fun time.” Derek, Scott’s friend decided. “If I know Scott, he will forget all about the war and the sand and focus on you, Mel. If he’s smart,” Derek wiggled his eye brows at Melinda and smiled.

She laughed at his light flirting then sighed. “It’s just, he sounded, I don’t know, tired or distant. I guess that’s to be expected.”

“When my cousin, Jay, came back from the middle-east he had a tough time adjusting to normal, civilian life. But then, he was there almost two years.”

Melinda looked at her watch. Two hours before his plane lands. She had time to change and still make it to the airport on time for his arrival.

Scott’s mother, father and sister all agreed to meet her with a premade banner. One more look around, offered Melinda the satisfaction that her back yard and patio was ready for Scott’s welcome home celebration. “I’m ready to head out. You good Derek?” she asked, starting to fret just a bit.

“All that is left to do is to put the kegs on the tables to the right, set up the cups and wait for your man to come through the door.” He smiled, seeming pleased with himself and his participation in the party.

“I could not have done this without your help, Derek. We should be back in a couple of hours. Just let anyone in as they arrive. I hope everyone shows.” She frowned. “I want Scott to know how much we all missed him and appreciate his service.”

“You just get yourself dolled up and I’ll take care of the rest here.”

Melinda smiled and walked to her bedroom, still not sure what she should wear. She had the choices down to three outfits. A black skirt and blue and yellow silky shirt; a red clingy dress that displayed her curves perfectly; or a pair of green capris with a matching tan and green floral shirt. All were lovely but she ended up picking the floral shirt so she could wear the matching hat. Twenty minutes of primping and she was ready.

As she was leaving through the front door, a few friends were just arriving. “Hey ya’ll, I’ll be bringing Scott in just a bit. Help yourselves to some food and beer.” She hugged all three and headed out.

  #

“Mr. and Mrs. Mason, Hello! And Emily, I am so excited. Are there any delays?” Melinda rambled a bit in nervousness. She enjoyed a fabulous relationship with Scott’s family and hoped they would eventually be her in-laws. She and Scott talked about it a few times in the last six months. How he was ready to settle down and start a family.

Her last conversation with him was brief, he sounded fatigued and a bit more withdrawn from their usually animated conversations. The fact that Scott left at only a six-month
tour of active duty was a blessing. She feared any longer and he might be like a few other soldiers she met who displayed various ranges of PTSD. This was a chronic condition most active war-time soldiers experienced. Some did well, others ended up with disability and unable to work or function in the real world.

She figured Scott, while not full blown mentally traumatized, still must have experienced some challenges. He sounded more serious and more sedate last few weeks. “Has he seemed more distant, Mrs. M., when you spoke with him on the phone?”

“Oh, please, call me Beverly.” She took Melinda’s arm, guiding them just inside the entrance from the tarmac. “I didn’t speak to Scott as often as you seem to have.” Mrs. Mason smiled knowingly at Melinda. “But I did notice he was not a chatty as he usually is.”

“War will turn any boy into a man.” Mr. Mason said matter of factly.

Emily walked to Melinda’s free side and walked in pace with the other women. “Is your place all set? Do we need to bring anything, Mel?”

“I think we are ready, we just need the man of honor.”

They all stopped and watched as passengers exited the commercial plane Scott took to bring him home. He was not hard to pick out from the fifteen or twenty that exited just before and after him. God, he is handsome. Six feet tall, more muscular than she remembered and clean shaven. He had a goatee when he left. He looks better now she thought. His hair is nice and short in the military fashion.

“Scott! Over here!” Melinda waved, fighting the urge to run up and jump on him with a big hug and kiss. “He’s not wearing his uniform.” He had on dark jeans and a pull over shirt with a hoodie. It was not sporty looking but casual. He always dressed so well. She was glad she also dressed for the occasion.

“Well, he is technically not on active duty now.” Emily answered.

Scott waved back, walking directly to Melinda and stopped. He hugged and kissed her then turned his attention to his family. “Hello Mother.” He hugged her, planting a kiss on her cheek. “Dad,” He nodded and shook his hand. “Emily, are you here alone? No Kevin?” He hugged his little sister.

“Kevin and I split up again.” She rolled her eyes and laughed.

“His loss,” Scott shook his head and turned to Mel again. “Hey, babe.” He pulled her away an arm’s length. “You look stellar in that outfit.” He hugged her again and tipped the brim of her hat with his index finger.
