Pet Detectives Page 5

by Louis Catt

What else? Oh – you remember Frankie’s mum saying she couldn’t have a kitten because of something that was going to happen next summer? Some kind of surprise? Did you guess what it was? I didn’t. FRANKIE’S MUM IS HAVING A BABY!!!!!

Frankie is over the moon – you’d think no one had ever had a baby before. She’s quite nice to Callum when he comes round to see Kenny’s rat – I think she’s practising on him.

One last thing. Don’t laugh. Promise? Ryan asked me to go with him to collect his kitten.

I’m sure it’s because I have such good taste.

Don’t forget, if you need Pet Detectives, you know where to find us.

  Lyndz’s Friendship Bracelet

  You will need:

Embroidery thread in three different colours

  A ruler

  A pair of scissors

  A friend

Cut two 30cm lengths of each colour thread, making a total of six threads.

Gather the six threads together and tie a knot at one end.

Get a friend to hold the knotted end of the threads.

Separate the three colours and then plait them together.

When you have finished the plait, tie a knot in the end.

Loop the bracelet around your friend’s wrist and tie together.

Now your friend can make you one too.

  Simple!

In a hurry? Take a length of ribbon and tie it round your friend’s wrist, for a super speedy friendship bracelet.
