Max and Sean laughed when Maggie shrieked. Ethan’s mouth was all but devouring her pussy, her legs now over his shoulders. Her fingers were gripping his hair so hard Max feared she would rip it out by the roots.

Turning his body more fully toward Maggie, Max slid his hand over her stomach as he lowered his head and took a nipple in his mouth. Sucking on it for a moment, he waited for her to press closer, before twirling his tongue around it. Low, sexy moans filled his ears, which had a direct line to his cock. Though he had been hard for some time, the sound of her expressing her pleasure increased the blood in it, causing it to ache. Max knew he wouldn’t last long. She was just so responsive to each and every thing they did to her. He was vaguely aware of Sean joining him at her other breast, the e-reader abandoned for bigger and better things.

Having their beautiful lady between them was a dream come true for Max. He knew it was for Ethan and Sean as well. Maggie was so warm, loving, giving, and sexy. She was the whole package.

Releasing her nipple, he began licking freckles. He loved them. They were the color of cinnamon and he always imagined he could taste them. Running his tongue from her chest to the lower curve of her breast, he licked a trail down to her stomach. Ethan still had his face buried between her thighs, licking and slurping, and driving Maggie mad with growing passion. Max could feel it building. She was about to orgasm. The signs were all there. He had to give Ethan credit. He had to be in some pain with the way she was twisting her fingers into his hair. When her body began bucking in earnest, her back arching off the mattress, Max returned to her nipple, sucking hard as Sean did the same with the other.

Maggie twisted and screamed as her orgasm ripped through her. Ethan grunted and Max chuckled as he lifted his head, leaning back as her body quaked and bucked violently. There had to be some hair loss with that one, he thought, kissing her flushed face. He removed the blindfold so he could kiss her closed eyelids, and the tip of her adorable nose.

“Feel better?” he asked when Maggie finally opened her eyes. They were glowing like emeralds, filled with the fire lingering in her sated body. His gaze slid from her smiling lips, down over her body, to where Ethan was resting his head on her thigh, his black hair sticking up at odd angles. “How’s the hair?”

“I still have hair?” Ethan asked, laughing as he raised his head to look at them.

“No, you have bald spots,” Max informed him.

  Maggie laughed with them. “Jerks.”

Sean nipped her bare shoulder. “Is that any way to talk to your almost fiancés?”

She tipped her head back to look up at him. “Almost fiancés? Is that what you are? I don’t remember giving a confirmation of an elevated status in our relationship.”

Growling, Max rose over her, his arms on either side of her body. “You don’t, huh?” He lowered himself, his chest pressing against the mounds of her breasts, to nibble on her shoulder. She laughed, trying to get away from him. When she failed, she settled, her eyes full of the happiness that seemed to be her trademark emotion. “Well, we need to rectify that. Will you marry us, Maggie Phillips?”

  “Maybe.”

Laughter filled the room as Max, Ethan, and Sean all began tickling her. She squealed, wriggled, and tried to push their hands away. When she failed at that she began pulling each of them close, kissing each one of them, until she was locked in a passionate embrace with Ethan.

Lord, could they get enough of the woman? Their appetites for her, both emotional and physical, were seemingly inexhaustible.

Max knew that he, Ethan and Sean could have had a very good life together without Maggie being a part of it. But now that she was, he knew their lives would be even better. She was that special.

Touching the curls on her forehead, Max brushed them back. “Maybe? Maybe we should just tickle you until you give in?”

Slender fingers curled around his biceps, holding him off. She shook her head vigorously. “No, no, you don’t need to do that!” she squealed as either Sean or Ethan found a sensitive spot. “I’ll tell!”

It was interesting to watch as Maggie squirmed around, attempting to get away from their hands. When she twisted away, rolling to her side, they were presented with her shapely ass. It also meant that her face was very close to his groin and the cock pointing in her direction. A low moan escaped him when he felt first her warm breath, then her wet tongue, stroke over the head.

“Oh, no you don’t.” Max laughed, stopping her from going further. The look she gave him as she poked her tongue out to swipe at the droplets of pre-cum leaking from the tip, was nearly his undoing. His balls ached, begging him to give in. “Give us an answer. Then you can have your wicked way with us.”

“Really? I can do anything I want?”

It had to be the weirdest proposal in history. Ethan was laughing his ass off and Sean was grinning and stroking Maggie’s ass. Even if it was weird, it was fun, too. Max wouldn’t change a thing. He didn’t want an ordinary relationship with his lovers. He wanted extraordinary. He wanted new and interesting each and every day. He wanted fun, because some parts of life often sucked. Life needed balance. That’s where Maggie came in.

“Anything,” Sean agreed as he bent to nibble on the round curve of Maggie’s ass. “Please marry us, Maggie.” She shifted until she was seated between them.

“Yes, Maggie, marry us. We want to be husbands and dads. Besides, we’re the sexiest bachelors around. You’ll be the envy of every woman…and man, within fifty miles of Silver.”

“How can I ignore that fact, even though you’re technically not bachelors?” Maggie pointed out, then answered softly, “Yes, I will marry the three of you. I just hope you’re prepared for it.” There was more than a hint of amusement in her green eyes.

Ethan stood in front of the mirror, fussing with the collar of one of his best shirts. He was nervous as hell and didn’t know what he could do to stop it. He knew Sean and Max were feeling the same way. Nerves were stretched tight and he couldn’t remember the last time he had been this scared of anything.

They were going over to Maggie’s house to tell her children that he, Sean, and Max were marrying their mother. While he expected everything to go well, he still couldn’t get beyond feeling as if his entire future was riding on this one event. Though the children seemed to like them, and they had gotten along very well so far, no one could predict how children were going to react. They might think that their mother’s attention would be taken away from them. Maggie was a devoted mother. While she was stern, she also threw in a lot of loving, tender moments and a huge dose of fun.

As they spent the weekend together, Ethan, Max, and Sean had asked Maggie a lot of questions about her children. When they weren’t making love, that is. Ethan smiled. It had been a great weekend. They hadn’t been able to spend as much time together over the summer as they had hoped. But he felt that they had caught up on a lot and that their beliefs about Maggie being the woman for them, was confirmed. Not that there had been a chance of them changing their minds. She was everything they wanted. They had also talked about children and learned that she was willing to have more. Not a dozen, Maggie said firmly, giving them a fierce scowl of warning, or even a half dozen. It was a number to yet be determined. Two or three were possible.

A dozen more children was a thought that made him shudder with dread. Ethan shook his head, laughing. He had an idea that it would take some time to become used to living with the triplets. Brant, Samuel, and Emily were positively adorable, but Maggie had warned that there were moments when they were as rotten as any child could get.

Ethan knew she likely judged them on their potential as husbands and fathers since their very first date. Hadn’t they done the same? She had a terrific personality. Maggie was smoking hot. She was a great mom. She was also a successful artist and businesswoman. She was the total package and they would be terribly selfish if they wanted more.

“Stop admiring your scrawny ass,” Sean told him from the doorway o
f their bedroom. He and Max had finished getting ready about half an hour before. “Let’s go.”

“You love this scrawny ass and you know it,” Ethan shot back, laughing as he grabbed his black Western-style hat off his dresser before heading toward the door. Scrawny. Right, if two hundred and ten pounds of prime male could be called scrawny. “What you wouldn’t give to have a body like this.”

He was down the stairs in seconds. Max was waiting at the front door, a grin on his handsome face. Ethan’s heart kicked around a bit in his chest. The man was sexy, there was no doubt about it. So was Sean. He had the two sexiest men for lovers and he would soon have the world’s sexiest woman as his wife.

Stopping dead in his tracks, Ethan looked from one to the other. He felt like smacking himself and them on the forehead.

“What?” Sean asked, frowning. “What did you forget?”

“Nothing. I was just thinking that we should get married, too.”

“We will be,” Max said, obviously confused.

“No, we won’t, unless we specify it. As it stands, the three of us will be marrying Maggie. I think we should ask that we be married as well. We should have done it years ago.”

They should have, but they had been content with their lives as they were. Though the people living in Silver were very open-minded, and had been for over a century, it wasn’t until recent years that same-sex marriages had begun to take place.

Max and Sean exchanged looks. Then they began grinning at one another.

“We’ll talk to Maggie,” the three of them said in unison.

Twenty minutes later they were pulling into the driveway of Maggie’s house. There was a lot of activity the past couple of days. There was construction equipment, piles of dirt, stacks of lumber, trusses, and a portable latrine. The workers had gone for the day, having finished pouring the foundation. Maggie had told them that she had changed the plans for the house to accommodate three more. She had been concerned that they wouldn’t want to live there, since it was hers, but they had assured her that it made no difference where they lived. They would also put into an agreement that if for some unforeseen reason their marriage didn’t work out, that the house would be hers. It was only right to give her that reassurance.

While the work began at the rear of the house the contents had been carried out the front and placed in a large storage container. Everything else, things like clothes and favorite toys, had been packed up to be taken to their house. After a surprisingly short discussion, Maggie had agreed to move her and the kids into their house on Max’s family ranch. It would be a little cramped, but it wouldn’t be forever. Once the construction was finished, they would all move into it.

They would be married by then. Talk about crazy. Their lives were about to become very activity-filled for a few months. But it all felt good. It felt right and would be worth anything they had to go through…including, but not limited to, tasting cake samples.

Ethan shuddered as he wiped his palms on his thighs. Hopefully Maggie, her mother, and her friends would do stuff like that. He wasn’t picky enough about cake. He loved them all and somehow he knew he wouldn’t be considered a good cake tester.

The front door opened and three whirlwinds headed in their direction, yelling and squealing with excitement. It was probably a good thing there were three of them. Ethan caught Emily as she leapt up at him. Sean scooped up Brant and Max lifted Samuel up against his chest. They gave tight hugs, kissed chubby cheeks, and accepted the same in return. Ethan really liked the idea of becoming an instant father. He loved kids and there was no waiting.

“Where are we going? Mommy says it’s a surprise.” Emily was looking at him with great expectation. He loved her little girl voice. It was sweet.

Ethan chuckled. “I can’t tell you. That would ruin the surprise.” She pouted and gave him puppy dog eyes. Laughing, he tipped his head forward so he could rub noses with her. “It’s a good surprise, but it’s a secret.”

“I won’t tell. Promise.” She held up her little hand, as if swearing an oath, and nodded her head.

“You won’t, huh?” Emily shook her head, her bright red curls bouncing around her head. “Sorry, I still can’t tell you. I don’t want to ruin the surprise.”

Emily frowned. “But it will still be a surprise.” Smart girl.

She was good. Ethan could see a lot of this adorable cajoling in his future. He turned to look at Maggie, who was grinning. She could probably see the word sucker stamped on his forehead.

“Come on, kiddo. Let’s get going, so you and your brothers can find out what the surprise is.”

“I hope it’s a really, really, really good one,” Samuel said as Max put him down on the ground.

“Me, too. I love surprises. I hope it’s a snake,” Brant said, horrifying every adult there. His siblings seemed to think it was a great idea.

Emily clapped her small hands together. “A snake would be fun.”

No one over the age of four commented on that. They simply exchanged glances. Ethan just hoped their surprise was enough to sidetrack the idea of a pet snake.

Knowing they would want to ride in the truck, Ethan carried Emily to the truck and set her down beside it. She bounced in place, along with her brothers, until they had the car seats transferred. Then tiny people were trying to scramble up into a truck that was set high off the ground.

A sing-a-long seemed to be required, so he and Max did their best to sing the children’s songs as they headed for the ranch. Sean was riding with Maggie. The bed of the truck was filled with the last of the boxes that wouldn’t be stored. Ethan was looking forward to the kids’ expressions when they saw that their bedroom furniture and toys were already set up in their new, if temporary, rooms.

Ethan’s excitement grew as he drove along the long lane, toward the large white farm house perched on a small rise, where Max’s parents lived with his younger brothers and sisters. There were large trees flanking it and flower beds in front. He continued along the lane until he reached their house, which was one of four built on the property. It wasn’t large, only having three bedrooms, but there was a sprawling yard where the kids could play. Since there were plenty of kids always around, there were swings, a slide, and other things for them to ride. Ethan saw it all as a way of keeping Brant, Samuel, and Emily from becoming bored, which was a good thing. There were also several new board games in the house, as well as books appropriate for their age. Since building blocks were one of his personal favorites, he had purchased several containers of them. The way he figured it, he had enough to build a castle, a spaceship, or a really cool race car.

“Are we going to a picnic?” Brant asked, craning his neck so he could look through the window.

“No. No picnic today,” Max told him, regret in his deep voice. “But maybe we could make our own little picnic later. How would that be? We’ll have to talk to your mom first.”

“Mommy likes to have picnics. Can we see our snake now?” Emily asked, with excitement in her sweet voice.

“I wanna name him Mr. Jelly Bean.”

Ethan jumped out of the truck without answering. He needed a moment. Maybe he would just tell Maggie the problem and hoped that their real surprise wouldn’t be a total let down for the kids.

Maggie dealt with the snake issue like a pro, telling them they couldn’t have a pet snake until they were older. There was disappointment, and a little pouting, but in the end it was all good. They shifted gears quickly as they walked along the paved path to the front door, the triplets hopping up each step until they reached the porch.

“Is our surprise in the house?”

Maggie squatted down until she was on their level. “Well, yes and no. How would you like to live here until our house is ready to move back into?”

Ethan winced as the squealing and yelling began.

“Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!” they chanted enthusiastically.

He shook his head and grinned at Sean and Max. By the sounds the kids were ma
king, they approved of moving in.

Max stepped forward to open the front door. “Come on in.” Maggie had helped them childproof the place. Things they shouldn’t touch were put away or out of reach.

Samuel, Brant, and Emily ran into the house, eager to explore. Once their curiosity about the downstairs had been satisfied, Maggie led the way upstairs. “Brant, Samuel, you’ll have to share a room.” The boys ran into the room and bounced onto the twin beds, obviously happy to see familiar things. “Emily, your room is right here.” Ethan opened the door and pushed it back to the wall.

After they had looked around their rooms, they came back out into the hallway with the adults. Emily looked at the two other doors. “This is the bathroom,” Sean said, opening the door.

Small heads nodded as they looked inside. “Mama, where are you sleeping?”

Maggie walked to the last door and opened it. “Right in here.” Of course the triplets had to look inside.

“Where are they sleeping?” Brant asked, pointing at Ethan, Sean, and Max.

“They’ll be sharing the bedroom with me.”

Brant peered inside the room again. “That’s a big bed.”

“Are you going to make a baby?”

Ethan stifled the laugh. Max made a choking sound. Sean looked like a deer caught in the headlights. Maggie didn’t even blink. “Do you want to go downstairs? We have another surprise for you.”

There was more cheering and more bouncing. The triplets ran to the stairs, their feet thumping loudly on the hardwood floor and steps, questions about babies temporarily forgotten.

“That was smooth,” Sean told Maggie, pulling her close to kiss her softly on the lips. “I couldn’t think of one answer that would have been suitable.”

Maggie laughed. “You’ll get the hang of it. Just remember to pause before you answer. But, on the other hand, don’t wait too long. They can twist just about anything to suit them.”

The announcement of their impending marriage was a huge surprise for the triplets. They stared, they giggled, and then there was more of the whooping and hollering. Maggie let it go on for a minute or two, before quieting them down. Ethan’s favorite reactions were the way Emily’s green eyes widened and she covered her open mouth with her hands. Brant and Samuel kept with the basic, manly fist pumps.
