The packs were repacked, and the two lovers stood facing each other smiling with satisfaction. The 'Leave No Trace' rule was regarded, unless one could detect the indiscernible stream of sperm floating on the rifts in the tide pool. The couple moved close together once again. They could not get enough of the other's energy. Terra touched her nose to his nose. She turned her head side to side and this caused her nose to flutter his nose from side to side. Atsa giggled. He liked it. Terra said, “It's an Eskimo kiss,” and began giggling too.

Atsa took his hands to either side of Terra's head and quieted her from swaying. “I like it like this.” At that, Atsa brought his lips in and firmly planted them on hers. He began suckling, licking, and probed her mouth with his tongue. When their tongues met, they each pushed back and forth in play. Terra grew dizzy with desire. Since she was out of the pool, she could feel her woman juices escaping her. With no undies on she would have to let the wet dribble down her inside thigh. The two kissed for an indescribable amount of time. When they stopped, they nodded it was time to move on. Both in their own moment looked up, down, around, and then both pair of eyes fell upon the pool.

  Desert Legacy

Their feet propelled them away from the family of fingers — at least that is how Terra regarded their place of sensuality. The desert was not barren, nor was it a path of smoothness. Plenty of rocks decorated the field before them. There were small canyons and cracks in the earth that provided reprieve from the sun. Although the sun was not intense in May. Each time that they stopped to explore a cave, Terra wondered what critter would meet them and if the desert inhabitants would be friendly. Atsa assured her that whatever dweller heard them coming that an escape plan would be in effect long before their arrival. That made sense to Terra.

Eight miles could be a long ways. Fortunately the walk was flat, not like climbing up a mountain path. This place they were going to was only accessible a few ways: by foot, motorbike, airplane, or helicopter. It was remote. This thought alone excited Terra. Explorers had come before and would do so after her, but right now she was a pioneer with no plan except for putting one foot in front of the other. For the first time she was okay with this. But then this was also the first time she was following a confident, knowing leader that she was smitten with. Their walking pace was steady with breaks every half hour to hydrate. As their pace put them deeper into the desert, a silhouette of more rocks barely formed on the horizon. Atsa informed Terra that the obscure blur ahead was their destination. It was a forest of rocks that held another omniscient speck in nature.

This road trip held many firsts for Terra. Where most of her life she had planned, or rather controlled—and tightly, these past days she was adrift with bliss. Given the choice of lifestyles, Terra preferred the freedom of living in the moment. She recognized that society doesn't operate on this premise. But the animal kingdom did, and tribal colonies did too, and given the chance, Terra knew for absolute certain she could as well. Staying true to this here and now path for the next week, was a goal Terra marched eagerly toward.

Terra had an idea. Why didn't she think of this earlier? At the next break, Terra told Atsa to sit on rock to rest. He was amused. His heavy eyebrows, one cocked up, the other almost down. He folded his arms across his chest and crossed his outstretched legs. Terra walked around behind him and fingered through his long, thick, dark hair. Atsa liked her fingers running along his scalp and yielded to her kneading touch. Terra parted and placed his hair into a single ponytail and then braided it. Individual front braids were woven into the back tail. When she was done, she secured the final tail with a single rubber band that was worn around her wrist. She always kept one handy, just in case. It was part of her always be prepared lifestyle. Terra stepped around front and nodded broadly, a gesture of approval of her handiwork. “There, that will feel much better, lighter for you. And, by the way you look delicious, like a Bohemian Native.” She laughed and Atsa lunged to grab out for her, but Terra squealed, whirled away, and danced around him shaking her head no. “Tonight, my love, if you get lucky!”

Time was an illusion. When having a great conversation with a friend it was easy to become absorbed and one hour could slide easily into five. Today's hike was like this as both Terra and Atsa were running on endorphins. What normally would be considered a mediocre hike, due to the length and almost non-changing land, was very doable for two lovers. They did not talk much, or well, not with their voices. With their body language, they spoke volumes. Each took a turn leading the way. The follower then had a back view of their new lover. Terra admired over her new hairdo for Atsa. She marveled at his thick calves and the way he strode. She fantasized their next position and where it would happen. She wanted to sit on his face and have his tongue deep inside her. Her fantasies kept her feet moving. Atsa had done this walk many times. He welcomed a beautiful person and lover along. He ogled at her hourglass figure with a curvaceous bosom and ample derrière. His lover's legs were strong and well-toned. Her long hair, not as thick as his, was pinned up behind her head. Several strands fell from behind. Her neck was exposed. Atsa grew horny as he watched Terra's buttocks rise and fall atop her long legs with each stride. The dry dust was nowhere to pummel a mate into the ground and keep both comfortably happy. His hard on would have to wait.

On what would be their last rest stop, Atsa looked curiously at Terra. She was looking, actually staring intensely down at the dirt. “Are you exhausted? Do you need more water … here,” Atsa handed a bottle over. Terra twisted her head and chin up, and stared blankly at Atsa. She was lifeless, void of emotion. Atsa squinted, shrugged his shoulders, and asked, “Tell me. Please.”

A minute passed as Terra recuperated her composure. Swallowing hard, and shaking her head, she then said in a barely audible whisper, “Another vision. They just started to appear since we've been on this hike. I've had the same sandwich slice of this reality about four times. Each time it gets stronger.” Terra closed her eyes and began describing pieces of the puzzle to Atsa. “There are crows sitting on rocks, maybe not crows, but they are large black birds. They are calm, just perched and not aroused. Rocks like the ones before us decorate the landscape, but the rocks in this vision are roundish and not much more than several feet tall. The focal point is a foot or a couple feet belonging to someone that I cannot see because that person is, I think, laying down behind the rocks. The feet belong to a person laying on their back. The feet are also tipped off to the side as if its host is snoozing. This person is wearing flat soled sneakers. Red. Totally not appropriate for out here. I don't feel any threat to us at all. But, I do feel it is something or someone waiting to be discovered. This person does not need help. Perhaps he or she is a messenger?” Terra twisted her nose and mouth, and squinted her eyes tightly as she came out of her recollection trace.

Atsa had taken all the words in. He was silent. Thinking. Pondering. He nodded his head slowly. “Hmm. Well. All this is, is information. What you are supposed to do with it, time will tell you. Terra, of the earth, you are connected. A sensitive one. You own a great gift. On some level, you have welcomed these threads from the ethers. Souls, spirits, and thoughts will enter your domain if you provide them a host. And your psyche is receptive. Now it is up to you to be selective. Welcome all in or out, or just some. You choose.”

Terra listened. Atsa was wise. Wise as if he had already walked this path with the visions himself. “Yes, that is an excellent idea. I have seen this vision. I acknowledge it. To keep having them sent to me serves no purpose. So I will welcome the sightings to leave. If it comes to pass, if we can address it then we do so. Atsa? You are my Shaman.” Terra worked her way through the logic of what came and went. Her body turned noticeably relaxed as she released the vision back over to the cosmos from where it came. With her body and brain revitalized, she got up from her rock seat. Waving to Atsa, Terra indicated she was ready for the last two miles.

As the two new friends approached this next settlement, the rocks grew imme
nse. What were gigantic boulders, plopped on earth, strewn about randomly, appeared with an exquisite configuration. To Terra, it looked like these monoliths were dispensed from an aircraft, perhaps a spaceship. Here, out in the middle of nowhere, it was hard to understand geographically how this scene evolved or eroded over time. Against the blue sky, the rocks sized anywhere from a three to a twelve story building for height comparison. The circumference of their belt line was just as robust. Their surfaces were smooth, round, and inaccessible for climbing, but most likely many had tried. Many of the boulders leaned upright on another equally large rock. Some jutted out of the ground like an aircraft fuselage. The random pattern indicated they were swept to this spot by an enormous wash eons ago. What a contrast to the family of erect needles that held their sacred pool. From the onset, looking a mile away this garden appeared to have raised rocks all by itself. Terra held to Atsa's promise that this place was every bit of a garden of Eden. Right now it could not be seen.

  Boulder Advent

Their first steps into this sanctuary, and Atsa placed his hand upon the entry boulder. He took Terra's hand with a smile and placed it on the boulder too. “This is tradition for all who enter this gate,” Atsa said. “It is a spot to give thanks for the offerings from our earth. It is considered good fortune if any type of bird flies overhead right now.” But, none did. Atsa withdrew his hand as did Terra. Atsa grabbed her hand and brought it to his lips. His tongue teased and caressed lightly across her knuckles, and then he kissed her hand and released it. Their steps inside this sanctuary seemed small compared to the massive outline of these earth made structures. For the first time shade was offered, although the temperature was quite pleasant. Entering the domain of this fortress, it was immediately apparent there were many mazes off shooting from this central room. Terra could easily see how someone could get lost inside this web of rocks. But Atsa knew every crevasse, nook, and fold inside this palace, so not to worry.

Each hallway framed with rocks had distinct character. Some small, some long, some led back to the outside world, while some ran sideways, and yet some had enclosed rock ceilings, but most did not. The randomness of this structure took shape and made sense once inside. Incredibly there was water in several chambers. The room that Atsa led Terra to was another magical gem buried deep inside the desert. This particular cavernous place was formed with a slot of rocks that jutted upward and towards one another to form an illusion of a closing ceiling. The length of one inside cove found rock walls uprooted from the base of an aquamarine waterway. Ten feet wide and forty feet long, a natural lap pool exposed itself. Its depth was unknown, but there were rock ledges at periodic stops. Terra's nose flared and she threw her head back in awe whilst she clasped her hands to her head. Atsa walked to her right side, ran his beefy hand up her back, and then he bent over a bit to lick her ear lobe. Atsa knew Terra would adore this pristine spot too.

“Let's call this home for tonight,” Atsa directed. “The water is pure Artesian so we can drink as much as we want.” At that, he tossed his nap sack down, found a seat and took off his boots and socks. Then in less time than that, Atsa had stripped down to his birthday suit. Naked, he walked by Terra who was still bending over studying the colors and conjures of the pool, and gave her a smack on her ass before diving in. Atsa dove deeply to depths that Terra did not fathom the pool reached, and then he reemerged almost at the other end. Not to be outdone, Terra peeled off every layer of clothes that she wore. She turned back to the pool and did a perfect swan dive in. Atsa had never seen anyone dive so gracefully. Terra's dive went deep and long. When she came up, she was front and center with Atsa who was hugging a ledge. He reached up, wrapped his arms around Terra and pulled her in close. He just wanted to hold her without kissing. Atsa molded his torso into every curve of Terra. Her breasts yielded to his chest. Their necks entwined like swans. Cheek to cheek they brushed. Abdomen to tight tummy they pressed until Terra could feel Atsa's erection rising. Sensual. Sexy. Intimate. All the signs of impending intercourse, but not yet. That was to be later on. They were both tired and needed to take a break from any strenuous activity for a bit.

Together they swam back to the pool's beginning. The climb out was easy as there were rock ledges that served as a step support. The pool in its entirety was nature made. Atsa and his brothers came here often thru their childhood and more recently over the years. Being reservation land it remained unspoiled, non-commercialized, and most importantly, relatively unknown. Atsa unbuckled the blanket roll he brought and laid it out on a flat spot. Terra found in her bag some fruit, jerky, more nuts, and water. Laying it out on tortillas, Terra told Atsa that dinner was served. They relaxed back on the blanket bed. Both devoured the food before them and then fell back, resting their heads next to one another. Terra grabbed Atsa's hand. He curled his fingers around her palm. The late afternoon sun was slipping down between the slot that the rocks formed. Its last glow and warmth shone on their bodies as they drifted off to sleep.

The open rock ceiling turned to a starry night sky. Stars of the cosmos jeweled the backdrop night shade. Shooting stars were abundant. So many wishes to be had by those who watched them fly. Terra could feel the slight night breeze upon her sensitive breasts. The wind caressed and stimulated her. Terra's eyes finally opened to realize they had slept a long time. Her body ached for satisfaction. She rolled over and propped herself up on her right elbow. Atsa was in her shadow. Terra could not see if he was awake or asleep. It did not matter. She snugged up next to him and nuzzled his neckline with her nose. Her left hand was free to roam. Her limp fingers brushed Atsa's chest lightly. She strummed her way down across his tight abdomen and into his thick pubic hairs. Her hand slipped down further, and fondled, almost milking Atsa's soft appendages.

Atsa's chest began to heave heavily with each breathe. An “Oh Lord” escaped his mouth. Terra's lips now rested on his upper chest. She had to slip down to accommodate the workings of her hand, and eventually her mouth. The intentions of her hand could wander unpredictably and this was the technique Terra used. Atsa was fully aroused. Terra's hair brushed against Atsa's chest as she slid her head down Atsa's torso. The tip of Terra's wet tongue created spontaneous responses. Atsa's abdomen muscles were tight, and quivering. His breathing became erratic. Terra's hot breathe blew upon and teased Atsa. A man could never be given too many sensations. That was well heeded advice from Terra's now ex-boss who deemed himself a sex expert.

Terra's lips parted and consumed Atsa. In the backdrop she heard the muttered words, “Oh dear mother of …” She smiled. Terra switched her technique again to overstimulate her lover. Atsa was consumed with desire. Atsa propped himself up on his elbows to watch Terra. Much of both of them were covered in Terra's long lustrous hair. Terra was skillful. Atsa threw his head back, face to the cosmos and screamed out. A wail so ear piercing and animalist seared deep into the night. Atsa's reaction pleased her. Atsa slumped, and let out a quieter, final “Ahh.”

Terra withdrew and reached up for Atsa's face in the dusky light. She pulled her body back up then straddled her legs over Atsa's torso. Terra was face to face with Atsa. He looked lovingly into her eyes. His hands felt her thighs and he caressed them with his fingers. Terra placed both her hands on either side of Atsa's cheeks, and lowered her face to his. Her lips nudged in to find his lips. Terra's tongue pierced the seal of his mouth to penetrate and open it. Her tongue probed deeply into Atsa's mouth. When he yielded they kissed and licked each other until the last remains of their saliva was consumed.

The unpredictable love-making turned them both on. Terra, still straddling him, sat upright on Atsa's stomach. When she leaned back, Terra's buttock discovered Atsa was ready again. Terra reached back with her hand to confirm it. Atsa smiled then he took control. With no hesitation, Terra complied. S

Terra swayed her full body to the tune of an ancient dance. The silhouette of her long hair waved around her sensual curves. She used her breath to gather momentum. Short spurts, then
long deep chest inhalations. She could feel him throbbing inside, against her. Terra lost all thought to anything else. Her focus was on pleasure. Her rhythms increased with animal instinct. Terra tossed her head back, arched her back, and then threw her arms behind her to grab Atsa's thighs. Her body spasmed as Terra hooked into the waves of bliss. Terra's head collapsed to one side in pure pleasure. Atsa's fluids drained out from under Terra. Terra collapsed and fell into Atsa's chest. His arms surrounded her. Dawn was looming on the horizon, but the day would have to wait while the lovers slept.

  All Brothers

There was a late afternoon breeze caressing Terra's body. She aroused from her slumber to find a light blanket across her. Atsa was gone. Apparently, he had enough sleep and had went scouting. The echo inside the rock chamber revealed what sounded like far away voices. Terra tossed the blanket off, got up, and dressed. Barefoot, she sauntered down each corridor until the voices, one of which was Atsa's, got louder. Her weaving brought her back to the entrance. Five men stood tall, Atsa among them. All Navaho men, who had darkened skin, black hair of various lengths, stocky yet muscular, and all quite delicious. In unison, the men turned in her direction. Terra was caught watching them. Atsa beamed and waved Terra to approach. She did, with pleasure and a smile.
