Raw Silk Page 9

That look didn’t exactly put him in listening mode either. With his hands cupping her lush derrière, and his nose filled with her sweet perfume, his dick was ready to explode.

So even though he knew he wasn’t being smart, he couldn’t help the need that ignited in his balls to dominate her, start to finish.

He spun her around at the sofa and lifted her to stand on the seat cushion. “Bend over.”

“Jake, I thought you might at least give me a hug first,” she complained.

“Hug, fuck.” He shoved apart her legs and bent to lick her folds, filling his mouth with her flavors, adding another layer of sensory stimulation to consume his mind.

“Jake,” she moaned, leaning to grip the back of the sofa. Her legs wobbled, but she tightened them and lifted her ass to his mouth.

Jake stroked her sex in long doglike laps, coaxing silky fluid from inside her, which he captured with his tongue and swallowed. “I need you, Camille,” he ground out.

  “I need you, too.”

He shook his head, even knowing she couldn’t see, and therefore couldn’t gauge his ferocity by his expression. He rubbed his palms on her ass then swatted one cheek.

She gasped and darted a glance over her shoulder.

He met her gaze with a hard stare of his own.

Her eyes widened, brows arched in confusion. “What’s this all about, Jake? I thought we were good.”

“It’s not enough.” He swatted her again.

Her mouth dropped open, her eyes slid shut, and she ducked her head and faced away. Her feet inched wider apart, and she bent down a little more.

The sight of her sex, red and swollen, moisture dribbling down her thighs fanned the flames of his angry lust. Her pretty pussy was his to lick, suck, spank, fuck—or share. His, dammit!

Jake felt his balls draw close to his groin, and his dick thrust against the front of his pants. “Don’t move.”

Backing up a step, he stripped, dropping his clothes behind him, then kicking off his shoes and letting them skid across the floor. Naked as she was, he bent and kissed her cheeks, and skimmed his lips over her warm bottom. Then he leaned back and smacking her again.

He didn’t miss the low groan that vibrated through her or the moist clasp of her pussy. What excited her fueled his own desperate need, and he continued to warm her ass with flat-palmed slaps that turned her pale skin red, her pussy into a juicy, pulsing well of need.

  “Jake, please, please…” she chanted.

He fingered her folds, thrust one inside and listened as air hissed between her teeth, but he didn’t give her more, just gauged her progress. She was hot, tightening around him, trying to suck him deep.

Jake withdrew and turned her with his hands, sitting her on the sofa. He fisted her hair in his hands and pulled her face toward his cock. “I want that lip gloss shining all the way down my dick.”

Camille whimpered, breathing hard, but didn’t comply.

He gave her chin a gentle but firm pinch and she opened her mouth. He pushed his cock between her lips, not waiting for her to adjust, but pushing steadily forward until he bumped against the back of her throat. “Swallow.”

A muffled moan vibrated around his dick, and she peered up at him.

He kept his face free of emotion, his gaze steady.

Her brows drew together in a frown, but she widened her jaws, swallowed again and rushed forward, taking more of him into her throat.

She breathed through her nose. Her tongue came alive and swirled along his shaft. She drew off him but suctioned hard, drawing him forward, forcing his compliance now because he didn’t want to lose the sensation as she drew so hard he was sure she’d suck his come all the way from his toes.

His balls were tight, his cock swelling in her mouth, but he pulled away, gripped the base to forestall his orgasm, and forced her head back to meet his gaze.

Her mouth was a red, trembling blur, her eyes enormous and pleading. He knew she was confused, but he couldn’t explain what drove him. He bent and hauled her into his arms and strode toward her bedroom.

Camille didn’t wrap her arms around him and seemed to be holding her breath, maybe even her opinion of how he was acting, but he was going on instinct—primitive, primal instinct.

He laid her on the bed and crawled right over her, not stopping until his limbs stretched over hers, anchoring her in place. “I shared you. Let Danny fuck and kiss every part of your body. I can handle that you want him, but I have to know if you love him.”

  Camille swallowed. “I do.”

Jake ground his jaws together. “He’s my brother. But I swear, I couldn’t stand aside for him.”

Tears glittered in her eyes. “Why do you think you have to?”

“Because I want to be the man who sleeps beside you every night, the one who plants babies in your belly. He can share your passion, but goddamn it, that’s as far as it goes.”

She arched one pale brow. “Do I get a say?”

Her tone wasn’t angry. It held a note of irony.

Jake breathed deep and jerked a nod.

Camille framed his face between her hands and lifted her head to deliver a soft wet kiss against his closed lips. “I like to play with Danny. I love sharing him and you with Lacey. It’s like a deeper bond of friendship, but I couldn’t handle any jealousy either, if you decided you wanted Lacey more than you want me. I love Danny and Lacey, but I need you, Jake. I want you in my bed, in my life. I want to sleep wrapped inside your arms. I want those babies, but I have to warn you, I’m thirty-eight. That might not be a walk in the park.”

He nodded, his throat closing tight.

“Would that disappoint you? If we couldn’t?”

“Yes,” he answered honestly, “but I’m open to options. So long as you’re with me.”

Camille relaxed and settled against her pillow, gazing up at him with her eyes soft and wet. “Is this a roundabout way of proposing? Because I’ll tell you now, I won’t consider having kids unless you’re willing to commit.”

Jake understood the urge gorillas had to beat their chests. He grunted instead. “I want you for my wife.”

A frown sank a wrinkle between her brows. “Not exactly the most romantic way to ask.”

  “Who’s asking?”

She blinked and a smile slid across her face. “Have I mentioned what a turn-on it is when you issue commands?”

“Didn’t have to. You melt like hot wax.”

She wrinkled her nose. “A girl likes to think she can keep secrets.”

He bent and nipped the end of her cute nose. “Why?”

“Because she doesn’t like knowing her every…urge…is so easily read. I mean, what if you weren’t that into me?”

Jake closed his eyes for a second and nudged his cock between her legs. “Not possible.”

“Jake,” she said, smacking his cheek lightly to get his attention. “I’m older than you. This is hot and all, but can you really want this long-term?”

Jake bit the edge of her palm. “I love you, Camille. You’re beautiful, smart, confident. Everything I want.”

She gave him a brief tight smile, and then let out a long, ragged breath. “Would you mind so much if you added rich to that list?”

He blinked, and he narrowed his eyes. “How rich?”

“Um…Lacey and I own Hot Silk.”

“Your underwear,” he said woodenly. “Those are from your store?”

“Yes, we created the brand, designed the original products, but now we’ve got our hands full managing the company. We have franchises in ten major cities and have more set to open. Can you handle that?”

Jake blew out a breath. “A guy likes knowing he’s bringing something a woman needs into a relationship. He likes providing for her and his family.”

“Money’s not everything, you know. A woman wants a strong man, someone steady. Someone willing to stick around and be a husband and a father. I want that with you. And I’ve never had a lover like you.
You take my breath away.”

Jake growled, not sure if he was flattered or insulted. “You want me for my body?”

“Of course,” she said, sliding her hands over his chest and pinching his small nipples. “But I want so much more. I want you in my life. Every part of you.”

“I’m a firefighter. I don’t have ambitions beyond that. It’s a big part of my life. Third generation.”

“I don’t want that to change.”

Jake closed his eyes. “If I’d known you were rich from the beginning, I still don’t think I could have stayed away. I might have had some issues, wondering if I was I just the flavor of the month for you.” When he opened his eyes, he gave her an unwavering stare. “But I know we’ve got something special happening here, babe. I don’t like that you don’t need me to take care of you, but I can live with it.

“Just don’t ask me to live in some fancy house. I want a place my friends and family will be comfortable. I want something I can give you.”

Camille smiled, relief evident in her misty eyes. “I don’t need a lot of luxuries, beyond my underwear, but I do need you. I can provide a lot of advantages to our kids, but I don’t want them spoiled. So, I’m okay with living simply. Just the basics.”

Jake frowned. She lay against silk sheets. He’d been an idiot not to guess she was so well off. And he didn’t want her giving up anything to be with him. “I’m not asking you to do without. Not if you don’t want to.”

“I’m not giving up a thing I can’t live without. All I want is you.” She gave his dick a sexy squeeze.

“Damn, baby. You wait to spring the news when all I can think about is how hot and wet you are. You plan it this way?”

Camille sighed. “I didn’t want to spring anything. And I wasn’t keeping secrets. We’ve been humping like bunny rabbits since we met. Not a lot of time for getting to know each other’s deep dark secrets.”

“I don’t have any of those. What you see is what you get.”

“Sure about that?” Camille bit her lower lip and gave him a sly glance from beneath the fringe of her lashes. “I’ve seen the way you watch Danny when his cock’s shafting me. You looked…curious.”

Jake shook his head. “Not that curious.”

  “You sure?”

  His face heated. “Camille!”

She shrugged, humor glinting in her gaze. “I wouldn’t mind. Might like watching.”

  “Not happening.”

  “Ever?”

Jake bit out a curse and clamped his mouth over hers, anything to end the tangent. The very thought should have shriveled up his balls, but he was honest enough with himself to admit that he wasn’t quite as revolted by the idea as he might have been a few weeks ago.

When she began to undulate beneath him, he lifted his head. “Can we shelve the sharing? I’ve been dreaming of all the wicked ways I want to have you now that I’ve got you to myself.”

Camille slid her hands over the tops of his shoulders and scraped her fingertips through his short hair. “I’ve got a few things on my bucket list, too.”

“Really? Does it involve a firefighter slamming you up the mattress with just his dick?”

Her wide smile was pure sin. “Yup. That’s mighty high on the list.”

“Hold tight, sweetheart. We’ll work our way down every single item on that list.”

  “We’ve got all day.”

  “And tonight.”

  “No condoms?” she asked hopefully.

Jake shook his head. Whether she was on the Pill or not, nothing was coming between his cock and her creamy, silken walls. “You’re safe with me, sweetheart.”

  Chapter Eight

  ‡

Camille slapped at her neck. “Who’s got the insect repellant?”

“I do,” Lacey said, striding up beside her. “Wish I hadn’t worn perfume. I think it’s like mosquito catnip.”

Camille trudged along, thankful she wasn’t carrying one of the enormous backpacks the men had strapped to their bodies. The men ambled ahead of them on the narrow trail through the woods.

Still, as annoying as the insects were, she couldn’t help enjoying her first camping trip. The air was fresh with the smells of pine resin and lush green vegetation. The sun was warm but not overbearing. The quiet surrounding them made the world seem to stand still. As if they were the only people in it. And today, that was just fine with her. They’d left their rented car at the trailhead and had hiked into the lush forest without meeting a single soul. Perfect.

“We really need all that stuff?” Camille said, lifting her chin toward the men and their huge packs.

Lacey grabbed her arm and leaned close. “They only brought two sleeping bags,” she whispered.

“What’s the rest of the stuff?”

“I watched them pack. A tent. Food. Sterno stoves. One change of clothing each.”

“One? But I laid out three.”

“Me too, but they said once we get where we’re going, we wouldn’t be needing any.”

Camille shook her head, a smile beginning to stretch her mouth. “And what’s gonna keep the mosquitoes from biting our butts?”

Lacey grinned. “I don’t think they were thinking about bugs.”

“They were thinking with their dicks.”

  “Again.”

  They shared happy smiles.

“Who’d a thought it, huh?” Lacey said softly, striding gamely behind the guys, even though they’d already been hiking for a two full hours.

Camille had thought she was in reasonably good shape, but the hilly terrain and the humid air were taking a toll on her calves and hair. She combed through the unruly curls forming around her face. “You know, I thought it was over the minute Jake realized Hot Silk was the little women’s shop we owned. He looked like a deer in the headlights, and then his face hardened. Scared the crap out of me.”

“Yeah, both their noses were out of joint over that one.”

“Like we care that we make more money than them.”

“Blowjobs are a great leveler,” Lacey said, tossing back her hair. “When a man sees a woman on her knees, he can’t help but feel superior.”

“What the hell are you two talking about?” Jake asked, his deep voice rumbling.

Camille had been so intent on her conversation with Lacey that she hadn’t noticed the men had stopped in the middle of the path.

“I heard the word blowjob,” Danny said, a wicked gleam in his dark gaze.

  “Me, too.” Jake’s narrowed.

Danny clapped Jake’s shoulder. “Fuck. How much farther until we get where we’re going?”

“I’ll know it when I see it,” Jake growled.

They’d flown from Austin to Little Rock, and then rented a car for the drive to the Ouachita National Forest. Great hiking country, or so the men claimed.

“A body could get lost in the woods,” Danny had said.

“Could get our asses eaten by a bear,” Camille had muttered, not nearly as thrilled as the guys about their little adventure.

Still, it was their first vacation as couples. Or a “four-ple”—Lacey hadn’t yet decided what to call their odd relationship.

Camille didn’t care what they called it, she’d never been happier. And just thinking about the day when it might all end left her misty-eyed every now and then. Although Jake swore he was ready to settle down with her, she still had her doubts.

She’d decided to live in the now—accept this period of her life as a gift and grab as much happiness as she could hoard away.

Lacey wasn’t thinking farther ahead than nightfall either as her avid gaze watched the two men’s butts twitch up ahead.

“Ever think we’d be wearing L.L. Bean and hiking into the wilderness?” Camille asked dreamily.

“I’m only L.L. on the outside. I’m still ‘Silky’ on the inside,” her friend said with a wink.

Camille shook her head. Every word held a sexual innuendo. It’s how it worked whenever they we
re within spitting distance of Jake and Danny.

Jake halted in the middle of the trail and looked back. “You two okay? We goin’ too fast?”

“No, no problems,” Lacey said, waving her hand. “Girl talk.”

  Jake lifted an eyebrow.

“Better keep moving, or they’ll ask our opinion,” Danny drawled.

  “Coward!” Lacey called after him.

“Almost there anyway,” he said, over his shoulder.

The woodland trail opened into a clearing with the sound of running water coming from the bottom of the hill.

When Camille got closer, she saw a wide, sparkling-clear stream pouring over a mini-waterfall. “How beautiful,” she said.

“This is it,” Jake said, unsnapping his straps and hanging his cowboy hat on the end of a low-hanging branch. “Think you can stand it for a couple of days?”

Camille headed for the water, eased off her boots and socks, and thrust her feet into the cool water. “God, that feels like heaven.”

“Blisters?” Jake asked, his expression concerned as he dropped his pack.

“No, just a little tired. I’m not used to walking so far. A couple of miles on the treadmill is as far as I go.”

“You go a whole lot farther than a couple of miles, sweetheart,” he drawled.

Camille blushed, amazed she still could. The guys had pretty much smashed past hers and Lacey’s inhibitions. The only hurdle left, so far as the girls were concerned, was the issue of when the guys were going to give them a little quid pro quo.

After all, the women had gotten very accustomed to sharing sex much to the delight of the men.

Lacey settled on a rock next to the stream and glanced around. “Think we’d get arrested if we went skinny-dipping?”

“Why do you think we went so far off the main trail?” Danny said, grinning.

Lacey laughed and shook her head. “I’m not parading naked all weekend long. What if a park ranger happens by?”

Danny walked up and wrapped his arms around Lacey’s waist then nibbled at her neck. “The only ranger we saw knows damn well why we wanted the most deserted corner of this park. His brother’s a fireman. He’s not gonna arrest us.”
