Double Dirty Outlaws: A MFM Romance Page 4

by Alexa Anna

“I know,” I say. “It’s impossible to think about the car.”

“Let’s try it out,” says Luke.

We get in, me in the passenger seat, and I crank the engine.

“Might work for now,” I say, as the engine whirs and the gears grind.

I drive slowly, the car making a lot of noise, over to Rivers’ laundry.

The building is a big industrial one, without even a sign on the front.

The parking lot pavement is cracked and old, faded and worn.

The building itself has seen better days, but it’s somewhat typical for this neighborhood. Luke and I head into the building, right into the area where the workers are running the big machines. People are working slowly but carefully, stuffing clothing from one machine into another, and pushing big carts full of clothing back and forth across the floor.

“Rivers?” I say to one woman, an older woman who apparently doesn’t speak English. She says something in Russian to me, and points to a back room.

I’ve never understood Rivers’ office set up. Each time we meet him it seems to be in a different back office, unless he happens to redecorate much more frequently than I could imagine.

“Gentlemen,” says Rivers, as I open the door without knocking.

“Hey Rivers,” say Luke and I together. “We’ve got something for you.”

“So you didn’t sleep through the message?”

I laugh, but Luke looks a little pissed off. He can get that way sometimes, when people seem to be questioning his work ethic. It probably has something to do with the way he grew up, with an alcoholic dad who was literally a fall-down sort of drunk, always passing out in alleys and in front of the house. He got a lot of shit growing up from just about everyone, but then again, so did I.

Luke and I launch right into the story, telling Rivers everything that happened. Well, we tell him everything except how we were both making out with the woman we rescued. But that’s our personal business. He doesn’t need to know everything.

“Hmmm,” says Rivers. He’s a big man, with a big belly, and an equally large moustache, one that always seems to be threatening to overtake his mouth completely. For the most part, though, he’s got it waxed up pretty nicely, so that it sticks up on the ends, like the people did in those old movies. “That’s the second attempted kidnapping. I just don’t get what these guys are after, though.”

“Yeah,” says Luke. “We don’t either. I mean, their motive seems to just be to make money, but we can’t figure out why they’re just staying in this neighborhood. They could go anywhere they want in the city, or anywhere around it, and possibly make more money, no offense, robbing stores that have, um, slightly more valuable items.”

Rivers laughs. “No offense taken,” he says. “I was perplexed as hell when they robbed this place last month. It didn’t make sense at first. But I’m starting to get it, I think.”

“Well what are your thoughts?” I say. “To me, it seems like they’re pretty sure, for whatever reason, that the police aren’t going to bother them… at least not too much… if they stay within this area. I don’t know if they have some kind of insider information at the police station. And we don’t know if there are some crooked cops at play here, or if the police force is simply overwhelmed.”

“I’d go with simply overwhelmed,” says Rivers. “I’ve known some guys on the force, and they’re all good guys, just way too overworked.”

Luke and I nod. “Makes sense,” we say together.

“Anyway, sounds like you guys did the right thing,” says Rivers.

  We nod.

“Yeah,” I say. “But we barely avoided being busted by the cops.”

  “Busted?” says Rivers.

“Well, you’ve got to know that this whole arrangement isn’t exactly legal,” says Luke.

  I nod my head.

“We just got out of the joint, as you know well.”

  Rivers nods. “Gun permits?”

“And no private eye license,” I say. “Not strictly illegal, just…”

“We have to be careful,” says Luke. “Let’s just leave it at that.”

“Well,” says Rivers, not in the least bit fazed by what we’ve just told him. I suspect he already knew what comes with hiring guys like us. The advantage of people like us is that we’re a little less costly. And we’re desperate, so we’re willing to do more. Plus, we had a good reputation before it was ruined, before we went to jail. Rivers knew someone we used to work for, someone that we really helped out of a tight situation. Plus, we’re able to do things that others, who are working more within the legal system, might not be able to do. Basically, we’re willing to take risks that the others aren’t. Of course, that can have a downside for us, if we get shot or something worse happens. “What do you think our next course of action should be?”

I shake my head. “That’s where things get tricky. Normally I’d recommend laying some kind of trap, but honestly these guys outnumber us in firepower right now.”

“They’re no slouches,” says Luke. “They know what they’re doing. They weren’t shooting to kill us. But they know how to fight, too, hand to hand.”

“I just can’t get a read on these guys,” I say. “A lot of how they’re acting makes me think they’re professionals, but their operation doesn’t make sense in that way. I mean, restricting yourself to one area is something low life amateurs would do.”

“I guess the only thing we can do now,” says Luke. “Is just keep waiting and watching, and try to stop them from doing too much damage. We’re going to take a nightshift watch, constantly patrolling the area.”

I sigh, quietly. Another round of nightshifts. We’re not going to be getting a lot of sleep for a while, and I’ve never liked the whole vampire sleep schedule thing much, but in this line of work it’s often a necessity.

Rivers nods. “Well, gentlemen,” he says. “Keep me informed, will you? And I’ll keep digging with the aid of my other contacts. Maybe one of us will turn up something.”

We shake hands with Rivers, and exit his office and we’re back in the industrial laundry. The workers are still operating the machines, carting the clothes. They’re so busy they barely have time to look at us, the strangers here on the floor.

“Well,” says Luke. “No more leads. No new information.”

  I nod my head.

We head back to the car.

  “What should we do?”

  “What can we do?”

  “Wait and watch, I guess.”

  “No sleep for us tonight.”

  “Part of the job, eh?”

We get into the car, and cruise around the block until we find an auto parts store.

“Better take a look at the car,” I say.

  Luke nods.

We both know cars pretty well, so it’s no trouble at all for us to get under the car, and under the hood, to see what’s going on with it. The car’s a bit of a beast, and there’s not a whole lot that can go wrong with it, but we hit that car going pretty fast.

There are a couple things to fix: the alternator, a timing belt that’s loose, and a couple other odds and ends. One of the axles is a little bent, but I think it’ll work for now.

Luke and I head in, chat with the guys for a few minutes, and end up borrowing their tool set.

Luke gets under the car to strap a beer can to the exhaust pipe, an old trick, and I start changing the spark plugs for good measure.

Another couple hours later, and we’re all greasy, and we’ve both stripped down to just our white t-shirts despite the cold.

A couple local women walking by whistle and cat call us. We just chuckle. It’s not like we’re not used to it.

“We could have any of them,” says Luke, whispering into my ear.

“I know,” I say. “And some of them are fucking sexy, but…”

“You can’t get her off your mind either?”

  “Of course not,” I say.

  “Don’t worry
,” says Luke. “It’s just a matter of time.”

“I know, but I don’t know how much longer I can hold out for.”

  “Hey!”

  “What?”

  “There she is!”

Damn, I didn’t even realize it, but we’re really close to the bar where she works. After all, we didn’t get to see the bar last night.

She’s walking down the street, right towards the bar, a little less than a block away from us. I don’t think she can see us from here.

“Just look at her, man,” says Luke. “She’s fucking incredible.”

I let out a low whistle but I’m concentrating too much on watching her walk, her breasts bouncing, her hips swinging, to say anything. There are so many things I’d like to do to her with Luke.

  Luke

  “And she’s a virgin, dude,” I say.

“I know, man, I know,” says Jake.

We must have had this conversation a hundred times already. We’re just sitting in our old cop car watching the night fall over the city. And there’s nothing to do but wait for the gangster to show up, or to wait for some word from Rivers or one of the other business owners, telling us that they’ve shown up again.

In the meantime, all we can do is think about Lexi, and talk about how we’d like to fuck her.

“I think we’ve got to go easy on her at first,” says Jake.

“Of course,” I say. “We don’t want to scare her off.”

“At the same time,” says Jake. “We’ve got to really show her what we’re capable of. We’ve got to get her coming back for more and more.”

I laugh. “That’s never been a problem before,” I say. “And I don’t think it’s going to be a problem with her. I mean, the two of us? Come on, we’ve never met anyone who hasn’t loved it.”

Jake laughs. “Yeah,” he says. “Remember the last one before we were in prison? What’s her name?”

  “Janet?” I say.

“Maybe,” says Jake. “But remember how she started following us around?”

I laugh, but my laugh fades quickly. “It’s kind of too bad,” I say, my voice sounding somewhat sad. “We’ve never settled down, really, you know?”

Jake doesn’t respond to my comment.

  What can he say, anyway?

The hours go by slowly. There’s nothing going on, nothing at all.

We park near Lexi’s bar, partly so that we can make sure she’s safe, and partly to see if we might be able to see her at the end of the night, when her shift is over.

“Damn it,” says Jake. “It’s so tempting just to go in and grab a drink, talk to her, you know?”

“Yeah,” I say. “But we’re not going to do a lot of good for the neighborhood in there, getting drunk.”

“We could look for leads, that sort of thing,” says Jake.

  I shake my head.

“Yeah,” he says, agreeing. “I guess it’s not a good idea.”

  “Tempting, though,” I say.

  Jake nods.

“What was that?” says Jake, suddenly turning around, nearly spilling his coffee on himself.

“I heard something too,” I whisper.

My old military training is kicking into high gear right now, the instincts coming flooding back to me. I scan my surroundings, paying special attention to the mirrors, to see if I can catch a glimpse of someone.

Yeah, there it is! A flash of a sneaker in the rearview mirror.

“They’re trying to do something to our car!” whispers Jake.

“Too bad for them,” I mutter, my body kicking into gear, the adrenaline suddenly coursing through me. I’m ready for anything, despite being on no sleep.

Jake and I exchange a look.

We know exactly what to do.

We open our doors at the same time, throwing them open with all our strength.

We both spring out, ready for action.

The guy isn’t wearing a mask. He’s dressed in regular clothes, jeans and a sweatshirt, and he sees us and starts running. There’s something in his hand. A weapon? No time to tell.

Jake and I rush after him, sprinting up towards him.

Jake’s the first to reach him, grabbing him by the arm. But the guy is strong even though he’s scrawny, and he twists away from Jake’s grasp. But it causes enough of a delay for me to full on tackle the guy, thrusting myself forward and onto him. We both crash into the ground.

“Who are you?” I say, holding the guy down. Jake stands by me.

The guy just shakes his head. He looks vaguely familiar, but I can’t place the face, which is weird for me, since I rarely forget a face.

There’s a noise. Something hits Jake in the back of the head.

There’s no time for me to respond.

Suddenly, something hits me from behind, too. I stagger forward, and the guy under me gets up, scrambling to his feet.

I’m reeling with the pain, but I manage to remember my surroundings, and my hand goes to my gun, but by the time I can look up, fighting the pain, I see only three figures disappearing down the block.

“Shit,” mutters Jake, getting to his feet finally.

I give him a hand and pull him up.

  “They’re long gone,” I say.

  “Probably already in their car.”

We examine our car, but we can’t find anything unusual.

“You check for a GPS tracker?” says Jake.

  I nod.

There’s nothing more to do but sit in the car and keep watching. We sip coffee and nurse our injuries. We’re hurt, enough to make most people head to the hospital, but we’ve got a job still to do.

“Hey!” says Jake, pointing out the windshield. “There she is.”

Sure enough, like a sexy goddess, there she is, standing in the doorway looking out. The way she stands makes her breasts stick out. Her hands are on her hips, her elbows bent back towards her delicious ass.

She looks directly at us, and she seems to see right through us, right to our desire.

She raises a single finger and beckons us forward.

“Time to take a break, eh?” I say.

“I’m all for it,” says Jake, eagerly getting out of the car.

“Didn’t expect to see you two so soon,” says Lexi, when we get up close to her.

“You know how it is,” I say.

“A lot of work to be done,” says Jake.

  “You’re injured,” she says.

“It’s nothing,” I say, brushing off the comment with a wave of my hand.

“What happened?” she says, her voice full of worry and concern.

  “Just normal business,” says Luke.

  “Happens, you know?” I say.

“Well,” says Lexi. “Everyone else is gone. I’m just cleaning up before heading home. Why don’t you two come in and I can help you get cleaned up.”

Jake and I exchange a look. It’s hard not to break out into a smile. I can tell by her demeanor that she wants to do a hell of a lot more to us than just clean us up.

Something has changed in her. Maybe she’s finally admitted to herself the desire that she has for us.

Jake and I head into the bar and she takes some paper towels and cleans some of the blood off of us.

  “We’re fine, really,” I say.

“I could use a drink, though,” says Jake.

Lexi pours the two of us a shot of vodka.

“How you holding up?” I say.

She responds, giving a noncommittal answer. I think all three of us know that not one of us is really paying attention to the conversation. All three of us are thinking about the same thing. I know Lexi’s thinking about us. I can see it in her eyes. She simply devours the two of us with her eyes.

It’s time to make a move.

“So everyone’s gone?” says Jake, beating me to it. “You’ve just got the place to yourself at these hours of the night?”

She nods her head shyly, blushing a little, apparently her mind filling with more dirt
y thoughts than that comment normally should allow for.

I catch her again staring at my crotch.

“It’s good we’re here,” I say. “We can make sure nothing happens to you again.”

“I need to thank you again for last night,” says Lexi, brushing her hair back from her face. She’s simply shimmering with sexiness. I can’t look at her mouth without thinking about it sinking down on my cock.

“No problem,” we say together. “That’s just what we do.”

“But you really went the extra length…”

She emphasizes “extra length,” and I wonder why before seeing her staring down to our crotches.

I don’t know how it happens, but suddenly she’s between the two of us, and she’s kissing me savagely, an intense kiss, full on tongue.

Now she turns and Jake kisses her on the mouth, while I kiss her neck, and her ear.

Her body is sandwiched between us. Her ass is facing me now and my cock is pushed right up against it through my pants. Her ass feels perfect, bouncy, delicious, like a fruit that I just want to sink my cock deep inside. (Not that I’ve ever fucked a piece of fruit, before any of you get the wrong idea from my simile.)

“Oh God,” she says, suddenly pulling away from kissing Jake. “I shouldn’t do this.”

“But you want to, don’t you?” says Jake. He already knows the answer, and so do I.

“Of course I do, but… what will people think?”

“We’ll keep it a secret. No one has to know.”

“But what about… well, I’m so inexperienced.”

“We’ll be really gentle with you,” I say. “That is, until you’re ready for more.”

“More what?” she says, turning her head to me so I can see her wide, innocent eyes.

“More pleasure,” says Jake, kissing her on the neck.

“I’m ready now,” she says, her voice barely above a whisper.

I laugh at this. “We’ll see how you do,” I say.

I almost can’t believe it’s happening. It’s almost too good to be true.

Her body feels so perfect pressed up against mine. Her ass is perfect. Her breasts are perfect. Fucking everything about her is perfect.

She’s so young, barely over nineteen years old. And she’s so innocent. I love the look of desire deep in her eyes. It turns me on like nothing else, knowing that she wants me, wants me and Jake to be deep inside her, to fuck her.
