Even When It's Wrong Page 22

“You know I got the sauce. You know I’m saucy…”

She twirled on top of my dick, letting me know it’s real. She then started dry-humping the shit out of me, trying to drive me fucking crazy. I gripped her hips with both hands, as she reached under herself, and pulled the pipe out. Skillfully, she pushed her panties aside, before positioning me at the mouth of the snatch. Still twerking, she sat down on all eleven inches.

“Uhh,” she panted, while making her booty jump. She then commenced to fucking me like I’d never been fucked before.

“Awww shiiiiiit,” I grunted, as I watched her perform. Nobody had ever quite taken the dick like she was taking it.

I tried with all my might to stop my eyes from rolling into the back of my head. She was now popping her back, riding the dick hard.

“You like that?” she questioned, like she had all the control.

I refused to answer her, as she rolled her hips.

“Ion hear you. Do. You. Like. This. Pussy?” she slammed into me, never missing a beat.

My toes were curling, as I gritted my teeth.

“Huh?” she pressed, riding me mercilessly.

“Yeahhhh!” I blurted, as I busted the biggest nut of my life.

“Good.” She promptly hopped off the dick. I watched her get out of bed, as I struggled to catch my breath. “If you don’t want another nigga to get that, then I suggest you start getting your shit together.”

“Yeah,” I sighed, until what she said registered. “Wait, what?”

  Chapter 18

  Mya

After two days of freaking in the hotel, I had to return to my reality. Me and Omari came home, while Meeka was at work, and unpacked all my clothes. It was amazing to me that she now had my cell’s number, but never used it. In fact, she hadn’t called to directly check on me once. She’d spoken to Auntie Micko, and that was it. So, I really didn’t even know what to expect from her, but my best bet was on some negativity.

By the time she was getting off, Omari had fallen into a deep sleep on the couch, and I was in my room. I was browsing through Facebook when I heard her come through the front door.

“Bae, did you eat?” I overheard her ask Omari, which churned my stomach. I didn’t know if I was more disgusted with the fact that she was on his dick or that she was putting any nigga before me. Hell, I couldn’t remember the last time she’d been concerned about me eating a damn thing.

“Nah, man,” he snapped. “Can’t you see that I’m fucking sleep? Damn. Leave me alone.”

“I was just asking. I know you gotta be pretty tired to be home so early. But excuse me for trying to feed your grouchy ass,” she clamored.

“Meeka,” he paused. “Go’on somewhere. You giving me a damn headache.”

“Whatever, nigga,” she said rather cheerily. My guess was that although he had an attitude, she was grateful that he was even home at all. He’d told me how he’d purposely spend as much time away from home as possible.

I was hopeful that she was headed to her bedroom, until my door swung open. “Well, look who’s back.”

Laying across my bed, I lifted my head. “Hi.”

She stepped fully into my room, wearing her dingy looking security uniform. “Why I just got off the phone with Micko, and she told me that you came back to Houston Sunday?”

I blinked my eyes a couple of times, not quite expecting her to come with this. “Yeah,” I hesitated. “I stayed with my friend for a few days.”

“Your friend?” she arched her brows.

  “Yeah.”

“And why didn’t you tell me?”

I sat up in bed. “I haven’t told you anything for the last three months. So, I didn’t think that it would be a big deal.”

“Wait, wait, wait a minute. Are you getting smart?”

“No.” my eyes shifted from side to side. “I’m being serious.”

“So, you think that you grown?” she folded her arms across her chest.

“No. But I will be in October, which is a month and a half away.”

“And what’s that supposed to mean? What, you think that because you’ll be legal that you aint gotta follow my rules no more? Cause if that’s what you thanking, you’ll be in for a rude waken, honey.”

I lifted a hand, as if I was in class. “It’s awakening. I’d be in for a rude awakening,” I corrected.

“Whatever the fuck,” she shook her head, getting pissed off.

Truthfully, I wanted to laugh, because for the first time she wasn’t getting to me. I was starting to truly believe that I could do this, and handle her.

“But let me tell you this.” She inched closer. “Aint shit changed around here. You gon bring your ass here after school, clean my house, and do whatever the fuck I say. And you think that you gonna be wearing them tight ass clothes I heard you been wearing, you got me fucked up. Fucking with me that shit will be in the trash. Matter of fact, I’m going through that shit you got, and taking anything that aint age appropriate. And don’t think that Micko didn’t tell me about all these high-priced bags you had out there, either. She say some lil’ boy bought it for you. So, I will be seeing what she’s talking about. Cause you aint got no business with thousand dollar bags. Shit, I don’t even have none, and if they’re high like Micko claims, them bitches going right into the pawn shop. Pay some fucking bills around here. Cause we all know that you don’t.”

“What?” I frowned. “I knew I should’ve stayed in Dallas.”

“You should’ve stayed where?” she placed her hands on her hips. “Girl, please. Micko ‘nem was probably glad your ass is out of her house. Especially since you done got so disrespectful, constantly wearing shit stuck up your ass. You think she wants her man around that shit? And that’s exactly why you won’t be doing it here.” She bucked her eyes. “I don’t play that shit.”

“Oh, Micko was absolutely okay with me staying at her house. She aint nothing like you. She don’t even think like you. She was the one who suggested that I finish school from her house, but all that went out the window when she found out about my child support. It was already bad enough that for three months straight you collected over five hundred dollars for me monthly, and didn’t send me one cent. And all Auntie Micko wanted was for you to send my money down there to me, which is only fair. I shouldn’t be her financial responsibility. But you refused to un-ass the money, leaving her with no choice but to send me home. But not before she broke it down to me. You get housing, which you need me on the lease to keep, and you need my child support money. All that means is that I pay bills around here. No matter how you try to put it. So, you aint doing me no favors. Nor do you take care of me. In fact, you need me here, otherwise you would’ve let me be your sister’s problems. So, the way I see it, this is my house as much as it is yours. And I’ll continue to go to school, because that’s important to me. Not because you said so. There will also be no touching of any kind with my belongings. You stay out of my way, and I’ll stay out of yours.”

“Oh, you done went down there to Dallas and thank you bad, huh? Like I won’t slap the fuck out of you.”

“Meeka, you my mama and all…”

“Meeka?!” she belted. “You calling me Meeka?!”

“Yeah, that’s your name aint it?”

“Bitch, I’ll walk you in here!” she barked, right before Omari entered the room.

“Okay, Meeka,” he sighed heavily. “That’s enough.” He guided her out of my room.

“Naw, man. Let me go!” she seethed. “This bitch done lost her everlasting mind! Who do she think she’s talking to? I’ve dropped bitches out here in the hood for less!”

“I know, I know, but just cool out. Don’t put your hands on her. She’s too big to discipline like that. She might fuck around and hit you back, man.”

“And I wish she would!” Meeka beat her chest. “That’ll be the fucking day. I’d kill that bitch first!”

“SHUT THE FUCK UP!” Omari lost it on her ass. I had a
sneaking suspicion that the words she’d spewed had pushed the wrong buttons. “Don’t ever let me hear you say that dumb ass shit again! You’d kill her?” he shook her in the hallway. “Bitch, is you stupid? That’s your fucking child!”

“Let me go!” she screamed, sounding scared shitless.

He pushed her away from him. “On God, I should leave your stupid ass. Let me ever hear you talking like that again. That shit aint cute. What type of fucking mother are you?”

“Fuck!” she vented, as she ran into her room like a little girl who’d just been chastised.

I sat there not feeling nearly as fucked up, as I once would’ve been. Maybe I was numb to Meeka’s mistreatment, or perhaps Omari being here made it better…easier to cope with. But what I did know was that I was tired of living with her, and straddling this dangerous ass fence. I’d been doing some fucked up shit, still I didn’t even give a fuck, anymore. It was settled. I was taking my mama’s man.

  ******

I sat in the passenger’s seat of the Benz headed to school. It was the first day of my senior year, and I was…cool. Me and Omari had gotten up extra early, and gone to IHOP first. Of course, Meeka was still sleep and was none the wiser. So, now I was ready to make my debut in Louie accessories, along with my Lacoste uniformed ensemble.

Looking at my cute red Lacoste watch, I thought about Meeka’s crumbing ass. She’d hit a new low. Just days before school was set to start, she hadn’t mentioned turning over any of my money for school clothes. I wasn’t going to say anything for the sake of peace, but Omari wouldn’t let it go.

He was like, “Nah, Ion care if I already bought you everything you need. The problem is that she don’t know that, but I saw her sliding that child support card at a few stores for herself. It’s the principle. I mean, if I wasn’t around you was just gonna have to settle for this shit you wore last year, while she’s spending your money? Where they do that at?”

“You know how that is, Mari,” I told him. “I don’t even know why you’re wasting your time.”

“Nah, fuck that,” he scoffed. “That might be how it used to be, but that shit’s about to change.”

And with that, he waited until she got off work, and confronted her, while I sat in my room. “Say, why you aint bought Mya nothing for school, man?”

There was a long pregnant pause, and then, “Shit, I figured she was grown enough to talk shit, she’s grown enough to buy her own clothes. Especially since she likes wearing shit two sizes too small.”

“Okay, but don’t you receive money for her needs from her daddy?”

“Yeah. And that includes shelter and food.”

“Meeka, get the fuck, man. Stop your bullshit. Now, Ion pry into your business, but you don’t think I realized that you on housing, and get food stamps? So, how the hell are you gonna justify using that girl’s money for something that comes free to you?”

  “What?” she uttered, sounding stultified.

“You heard me, man. Give that girl some of her money, so she can get the shit she needs. That’s only right. What type of games are you playing?”

Honestly, I was half expecting to hear her go off, but a few minutes later he stepped into my room, handing me two hundred dollars. I took the money with plans to blow it on something frivolous, since there was nothing that I actually needed. But when me and him were alone, and I was preparing to buy something crazy, he stopped me.

“Nah, man. Put that lil’ money up. Be smart about shit. Why spend your shit when I’m right here? Besides, when you got extra you need to start putting that shit to the side. Rainy days, right?”

“Right,” I agreed, before deciding to stash that money.

And I promised myself that from now on I’d always do that, just in case I found myself out here alone. It was sad that I even had to think that way, but it was a reality. But yeah, I still laughed, as I admired my watch. Meeka had seen someone in our apartments with one, and expressed that she wanted one to Omari. He just shrugged her off, and me being me, I picked out the watch at our last mall run, being petty. I don’t think he even realized what I’d done, but it gave me some satisfaction.

“Why you so quiet? It’s your first day back at school. You supposed to be crunk.” Omari bounced his shoulders. “You gon have the chance to link up with them bopping ass bitches you like to kick it with.”

“Whatever,” I rolled my eyes, not wanting to hear all that. If you asked me, his ass was too hyped about getting rid of me for a few hours. For the past week, we’d been inseparable, and even Meeka was in a better mood, because he’d rarely leave the house. So, a part of me kept thinking about what he’d do with the free time.

“You got a attitude? Let me find out,” he teased, pushing my hand away from my mouth.

  “No, I don’t,” I mumbled.

“Yeah, you do. You must need me to fix that. You need me to fix it, My?” he leaned over, kissing my cheek.

“Stop,” I whined, putting up a front. I loved when I had my little tantrums, and he showered me with attention.

“Oh, shit, this the jam, right here.” He turned up the music.

“If I couldn’t give you the finer things. Like the money, and the whips, and the diamond rings. Would you do it again? I wanna know. What you do it again? I wanna know…”

“My, what you know about that Lil’ Boosie?” he smiled. “I had my own work. She had her homework. She went from drawls to thong work. I’m a fool with it,” he rapped.

I giggled, never paying much attention to the song until right then.

Playfully, he stroked my chin. “My, would you do it again,” he sang. “I wanna know.”

This time I openly gushed, because he had me. “Boy, stop, before I be saying fuck school today.”

“Oh, nah, we can’t have that. You get ya lil’ education. I aint gon stand in the way of that.”

“Yeah, right.” I cut my eyes at him.

He licked his lips. “Real talk.” He pulled at in front of my school. “Look at all these muthafuckas, stunting hard on the first day.”

As expected, students were wearing, and looking their best for the first day of school. Sadly, it was the only time some people received new shoes, and I knew how that was personally. This all made me all the more grateful for Omari. He’d come along and made so many things better for me.

“Yeah, they are,” I sighed heavily. “But let me go. Ion wanna hold you up.”

“Cut that shit out,” he chuckled. “We aint rocking like that,” he claimed, before leaning over to kiss my lips. “You be good.”

  I perked up. “I will.”

“Bet that,” he voiced, before I eased out of the car.

Closing the door behind me, I stood on the sidewalk. I took a deep breath, preparing myself for whatever lied ahead. Still, with Omari riding with me, I knew somehow that I would be able to handle whatever came my way.

  Omari

“Mya, look at these. Do you think that they’re cute?” Daynah questioned, as we stood in the middle of Neiman Marcus’.

“Girl, yesssss!” Mya snapped her fingers.

“You see this shit?” Kells elbowed me.

  I smirked. “Hell, yeah.”

It was funny watching Mya evolve. She once claimed that I was doing too much by buying her more than one pair of shoes, but now she spent thousands of my money like it was water. And letting her kick it with Daynah and her people had done nothing but create a monster. Shit, I had to now hide my money, because Mya stayed going in my pockets, trying to spend every fucking thing.

“Mari, I have to have these. I’d fucking slay those hoes at school. Giuseppe’s on the campus? Shiiiit,” she stressed.

I grabbed the bridge of my nose. “Get ‘em, Mya.”

“And that’s why I love you,” she cooed, running over with open arms. “Muah,” she rained kissed all over my face.

“Why you playing?” I hungrily kissed her, as I wrapped my arms around her waist.

  “That’s right,
girl. Show that nigga some gratitude,” Daynah teased.

“Got ya,” Mya winked at her, before wrapping her arms around my neck.

“Main,” Kells drawled. “I’m ‘bout tired of this shit. Can yall wait ‘til yall get home to do all that?”

Mya released me. “Boy, bye.” She waved him off.

Kells stepped over and whispered into my ear. “You done got caught up, and in way too deep. If I was you, I’d start plans to get the fuck outta Meeka’s house, before she kill the both of yall.”

I nodded. “Real.” Because I knew that my time at Meeka’s was coming to a close, but I didn’t quite know what I wanted to do after. Honestly, deep down I had to really ask myself what I truly felt for Mya. Did I care about her? Absolutely. Still, I didn’t know if that translated into me being ready to fully commit. If we moved out, I’d be giving her what I’d given no one else. A commitment. And I didn’t know if I was ready for all that, yet. And the wicked part of me enjoyed having the best of both worlds, while living with Meeka. I had my freedom, while keeping Mya on lock. But something told me that something this good wouldn’t last forever.

By the time we were done in Neiman’s, I’d recklessly spent five racks. But it was all good, because the game had been good to me. Especially, since Daynah’s people had come into the picture. Her daddy and uncle were the niggas to see, and through hanging around her, I’d been put down. She wasn’t into the streets at all, and had just graduated from college out in Cali, but her whole family was connected. And what’s crazy is that Kells stepped into the situation blindly, only choosing her. But had unwittingly joined a practically made family.

I smiled to myself. “I guess there are benefits of just doing what’s right.”

“What?” Mya asked, as she strolled beside me through the Galleria mall.

“Nothing, nothing.” I shook my head, as she stepped in front of me. I found myself watching her hips sway, until she bumped into a nigga.

  “My bad,” she apologized.

“I know something if we keep bumping into each other like this,” Flame’s bitch ass flirted.
