“She’s good. Getting bigger, and getting into everything.”
“Yeah? What about that nigga? He keeping you happy?”
She tucked her lips into her mouth. “Yeah, he is.”
I saw Amir’s expression change, as he appeared disappointed. “That’s what’s up. He better be doing you right, because I’m still waiting on him to fuck up. You know that.”
“Boy,” she blushed. “Go’on.”
“I’m serious.”
She nodded. “Okay.”
“Now, come on, nigga,” Omari rudely cut in.
Amir Junior slowly turned around. “Sit yo impatient ass down somewhere. Did you show Mya the lyrics?”
“I am now,” Omari claimed, before handing me his cell. “The lyrics are right here, My.”
“Okay,” I breathed, before sitting in a nearby chair. For about twenty minutes, I went over the lyrics that Amir had written, before he had me in the booth, singing. “I was out chilling with my girls, but I’m thinking ‘bout you. Our last argument crossed my mind, and I’m recognizing how I doubted you. The fussing had me saying shit that I didn’t mean. And now I’m plotting on ways to get you to come back to me.”
“That was prefect.” Amir gave me the thumbs up, while Omari stood next to him with a goofy grin on his face.
I continued singing my lines, while adding on my own adlibs. By the time I was done, everybody was dancing around, swearing that my vocals were going to make the song a hit. Omari had filmed everything on Snapchat, and I don’t think he realized what he’d done.
“I think that we can get some radio play with this one,” Amir claimed, after I’d stepped out of the booth.
“You think so?” I asked, as I sat comfortably in Omari’s lap.
“Hell, yeah,” Keyasia spoke up. “You brought those word to life. No bullshit. And Amir did his thing, too.” She turned to him.
“Thank you.” He replied. “Those kinds of songs are easy for me, because I have a lot of inspiration.”
“Yeah?” she lifted a brow. “From where?”
His face grew serious. “You.”
“Anyways,” Keyasia fought to conceal her blushing.
“Yeah, okay,” Taraj bucked her eyes. “But anyway, you did that, Mya,” she agreed.
Omari lovingly rubbed my thighs. “You did alright.”
I looked back at him. “Just alright?”
He licked his lips. “I can’t gas you up too much. You know how you get when you get to feeling yourself.”
I giggled. “Whatever.”
Just then, someone buzzed in, meaning that they were at the entry way, and needed to get inside.
“Let me go see who that is,” Omari announced, before patting my thigh. “Let me up.”
Holding my back, he assisted me in standing, before he hopped up, and headed to the door. “Shit, I’m out of breath.” I held my back.
We all laughed.
“That’s how I was during the last few months of my pregnancy,” Key chortled.
Amir leaned against a table with his arms folded. “You know she should’ve been my baby, right?”
“But she aint, nigga,” Wale squawked, stomping into the area.
Amir’s facial expression quickly turned sour. “My nigga, can I help you with something?”
“Yeah, you can stop playing with me,” Wale scoffed. “Every time you in my woman’s presence, you got something slick to say. And you aint gotta like the fact that she with me, but you gon respect it. Then speaking on my daughter like that is the quickest way to end your life.”
Surprisingly, Amir remained calm. “Look, as far as your daughter goes, you got that. I aint gon play about my child, but as far you throwing out threats? You got me fucked up. I honestly got better shit to do than to be shooting it out with you, but don’t mistake it. I keep my heat on me, and it aint no bitch in my blood, nigga.”
“Fam, you’on wanna see me. I promise.” Wale gripped the butt of his gun that was tucked into the back of his jeans.
“Okay.” Keyasia shot to her feet. “Corinthian, let’s just go. Please.”
He glared at her. “But what you doing here, though? I gotta see on Snapchat that you over here posted up with this man. You taking me for a fucking joke, Keyasia?”
“No. You know that I don’t. I brought Mya here, and didn’t know that he’d be here,” she explained.
Amir evilly grinned. “If you can’t trust her, let her go, dawg.”
Key whipped her head around. “Amir, really?”
Taraj stood up. “Yeah, let’s go. Yall both need to chill out.”
Wale eased an arm around Keyasia. “Nigga, you can stop it. I trust her like a muthafucka. It’s you I got the problem with. Cause I know you want what I got. Shit, it’s been several times, after she gets through riding this dick that I smile to myself, thanking you on the low. You made it possible for a me to swoop in, and snatch her up. But the thing is, I aint you. So, you can stop waiting on the day you catch me slipping. She mine. All of her. Which means that you might as well stop dreaming. I’m willing to die ‘bout this. So, ask yourself if this is what you really want.”
“Yeah, okay. You said what you had to say. Let’s go,” Keyasia urged, pulling him towards the door.
Taraj shook her head. “Call me, Mya.”
“Alright,” I agreed, as they made their exit.
“Fuck!” Amir blurted, frustratingly rubbing his waves with both hands. “If it wasn’t for my daughter, I swear I’d shoot that bitch ass nigga.”
“Man,” Omari drawled. “You gotta let that beef shit go, because you got bigger shit to focus on.”
“Yeah, I know.” Amir nodded. “I fucking know, but that shit burns me up. It seems like I can’t even talk to her without him popping up. Me and that girl got a lot of history, man.”
“I know. I remember how yall used to rock.”
“Exactly. I was fucking with her before the music was even popping off, and when I got that platinum plaque for my song she was the first person I thought about. Cause she was my biggest cheerleader when my daddy was telling a nigga that this music shit wasn’t gonna go nowhere. And it’s crazy, cause we was closer than close, but now this nigga wanna act like it’s a fuckin crime to talk to somebody that was once my best friend. Then people keep telling me to respect that she with that nigga, but I can’t. I just really fucking can’t,” he began grumbling, seemingly becoming lost within his thoughts.
We sat back, not saying much. Hell, really what could we say? He had it bad, and there was nothing we could do about that.
On the drive back home, Omari was unusually quiet, and I wanted to know why. “Mari, what’s up with you? Why are you so quiet?”
He glanced my way. “Cause, man.”
“Cause what?”
“I was thinking about Amir. It’s been a minute since Keyasia quit fucking with him, but he still aint over her. I mean, sometimes he be acting like the shit don’t bother him, but it’s been plenty of drunken nights where he’ll go on and on about Wale taking his bitch. The shit is crazy, and I feel sorry for him.”
“You feel sorry for him?” I frowned. “Ion know about all that. He don’t have no trouble getting girls, and seem to have plenty of them, but you feel sorry for him? Shit, he shouldn’t have cheated, and made a baby on her. The fuck was she supposed to do?”
“So, you’d leave me if I ever did that?”
“Hell, yeah. Without a doubt. I aint accepting no ugly ass baby with another bitch. I’d pinch the little bastard,” I snarled from the mere thought of it.
He roared with laughter. “And you serious, too. That’s the killing part!”
“As a muthafuckin’ heart attack.”
“But for real,” he licked his lips, growing serious again. “I feel sorry for him, because I couldn’t imagine loving a broad, and then being forced to watch her live out her days with another nigga. That shit would be devastating, and it made me try to picture you leaving me. I think that I’
d really lose my mind. Cause aint no way I could sit back and watch you leave with another man.” He shook his head. “Aint no fucking way.”

“We don’t have to worry about no groceries. We can fill up on love alone. If we aint got enough for a movie, we can just stay at home. Have a little role play, baby. Whatever turns you on. If you’re cool, then I’m cool. Then we’re cool…”
Anthony Hamilton’s video was playing on the TV, as I sat on the floor. It was a quiet Sunday afternoon, and there was nowhere we wanted to go or anything we wanted to do. It was just me, Omari, and Cavalli. My eyes were rolling into the back of my head, as I got my scalp scratched and greased.
“Omari, they gon snatch your G card for this one,” Cavalli kidded. “You actually sitting over there greasing that girl’s hair.” She had her phone out, recording us.
He sat there shirtless, showcasing his chiseled upper body and tattoos. “Can’t no nigga take something the streets gave me, home girl.”
“Is that right? You must be in love,” she assumed, sounding like she was interviewing him. That’s when it dawned on me that she was probably live on Facebook.
“Shit, aint no way I’d be digging all this dandruff out if I didn’t.”
I snapped my head around. “So, that’s how you popping it?”
He chuckled, tilting my chin up, before kissing my lips.
“Aww, that’s so cute,” Cavalli cooed.
I gave her the finger, as we took the kiss deeper. When my clit began throbbing, I knew that I had to stop, before I’d attack his ass like a wild animal. “That’s enough,” I huffed out, pulling away.
“Why you running?” he whispered, as his lips brushed against my ear.
I shivered a bit from the chills shooting up and down my spine. Closing my eyes, I indulged in his touch, as he went back to scratching my scalp. Him doing this always made me feel all warm and fuzzy internally, because at this point he had very little time to simply relax. I felt myself drifting off to sleep, when there was a knock at the door. Cavalli quickly volunteered to answer it, which was fine by me, because I wasn’t trying to get up.
“What yall cooked?” Kells questioned, as soon as he stepped in.
“Nothing, with ya greedy ass,” I spoke up.
“Damn, man. You falling off. You need to hurry up and have that baby. You getting lazy on us. Shit, we still gotta eat.”
“Nigga, I’m the only muthafucka she gotta feed. You better get Daynah’s ass some cooking lessons,” Omari snickered.
“What?” Kells glowered down at him. “Nigga, you tripping, with yo butter cookie soft ass. The fuck is you doing playing in that girl’s hair? I need to get your ass up out of here, before she have your ass trying on her dresses next.”
“You got me fucked up,” Omari grumbled, handing me the comb. “Bae, let me up, right quick.”
I sat up a bit, allowing him to stand, before he stepped over me.
“What’s up, though?” Omari quizzed.
“I got some shit to talk to you about. Let’s go in the back,” Kells suggested.
“Bet,” Omari agreed, before they both trudged to our bedroom.
“I need to take a nap,” I yawned, before my cell vibrated. Gazing down at my phone, I saw that it was a text from Nerie. “The fuck?” my nostrils flared, as I viewed the multiple screenshots she’d sent.
“What? You got some tea?” Cavalli leaned forward, peeking at my screen.
“Girl,” I trailed off, attempting to stop myself from getting too hot. “I knew this nigga been too good to be true. I knew it.”
Those screenshots were from Facebook, and it was a conversation between Nisha and Lacy, but it was on Lacy’s page, underneath a photo of her ugly ass baby.
Nisha Gongetit: Aww him is too cute. Looking just like that nigga
Pretty Lacy: And who might that nigga be?
Nisha Gongetit: Bitch don’t play crazy. I’m talking about his pappy. Is he still on that bullshit?
Pretty Lacy: Girl fuck Omari. He keeps saying the he aint his and at this point it don’t matter cause my baby got a real daddy over here that don’t give a fuck about blood.
Nisha Gongetit: So you aint gonna give that nigga a DNA? Cause I see him all over this baby. While hoes going around thinking they pushing out his firstborn. Shit aint no way I’d let him make it if I was you. Since he over there tricking on that hoe Mya.
Pretty Lacy: Bitch you silly. Aint nobody worrying about what he doing for that hoe. And if a bitch is the reason he wont fuck with my baby then fuck him. I really don’t got shit to say to him ever since he had them hoes come to our houses. I damn near had to fight with my baby in my arms. That nigga is forever on my shit list for that one. And he out of line for having all those bitches come to your mama’s house too. I’m surprised you didn’t get one of your uncles to fuck his bitch ass up.
Nisha Gongetit: I aint worried about that bullshit. It took six of them hoes to fight me anyway. But it just showed how pussy he is for sending them hoes over here because of what I said to Mya. Fuck her. That bitch oughta be ashamed of herself for having a baby with her damn step-daddy.
Pretty Lacy: Exactly
“Let me see this,” Cavalli commanded, before grabbing my phone. She carefully studied the screenshots, before sucking her teeth. “These dumb hoes are sad. This whole thing was a ploy for attention.”
Before I could respond, Nerie was calling my phone. Retrieving it from Cavalli’s grasp, I picked it up. “Yeah?”
“Did you get the screenshots?”
“Yeah, I got them.”
“Girl, when I saw that shit in my newsfeed, I was like what the fuck. I figured that you probably didn’t know nothing about that baby supposedly being for Omari, and since you my dog I couldn’t leave you in the dark like that.”
“Nah, I didn’t know shit about her baby being allegedly his,” I admitted.
“That’s crazy that he didn’t bother to tell you.”
“Right. He could’ve at least mentioned it.”
“Yeah, but you know how them niggas are. I knew that some shit was bound to come out, because I been hearing his name in too many bitches’ mouths. This hoe and that one been claiming that they kicked it with him, or was in V.I.P. with him at the club.”
“Well, that’s news to me.”
“I mean, I don’t say nothing, because that’s gossip, but I couldn’t let this shit on Facebook slide. I had to let you know.”
“You aint did nothing wrong, but let me call you back. I gotta holler at his bitch ass, real quick.”
“Alright, girl. Handle your business.” She hung up.
“He got me fucked up,” I mumbled, as I struggled to get off the floor.
“Where you going?” Cavalli questioned, as I stood upright.
“To go cuss Omari’s ass out.”
She shook her head. “And what would that solve?”
“It would let him know that he got me fucked up,” I gritted.
“Yeah, but you don’t even really know what he did. That shit on Facebook don’t mean nothing. Clearly, he fucked with that girl, but I’m pretty sure that it was before yall left Meeka’s house. That means that he it was before he was technically yours, and obviously he don’t have no dealings with that girl or her baby, so what is there to tell you?”
I glowered down at her. “You sure are defending him all of a sudden.”
She casually shrugged. “Omari, is my boy. That nigga aint been nothing but good to you, and I really don’t care about how yall got together. Not at this point. Yeah, I had shit to say when I felt like he was straddling the fence, but he’s not, anymore. And when I get a real boyfriend, I want one who treats me like he treats you. So no, I aint gonna encourage you to create drama over nothing, because I wanna see yall win. You also need to consider if the next muthafucka feel the same way. Not everybody wanna see you win, and you need to be real careful about somebody that only seems to bring back negative bullshit.”
&nb
sp; “So, I shouldn’t say nothing, and just act like this never happened?”
“I didn’t say that. If you wanna know what ole girl is talking about, then ask him about it tonight. Not in front of me or Kells, though.”
I eased onto the couch. “I guess you’re right.”
She smiled, as she headed to the hallway. “I know I am.”
I focused on the TV, before Cavalli’s head popped back into the room. “Mya.”
“Yeah?” I lifted both brows.
“You know I love your crazy ass, right?”
I giggled. “Yes, Cavalli.”
“But everybody that will come around you won’t carry that same love.” She winked. “I want you to remember that.”

The sound of our skins clapping was bouncing off the walls of our spacious bathroom, as Omari sat in the tub with the water filled up halfway with me straddled on top of him. I was posted up like a frog, hopping up and down his length. I was taking every inch of him like a champ, as I dropped down hard on him.
“Mmm,” he hummed on my nipple as he suckled on it.
“Uh! Uh!” I huffed, leaning my head back. Swirling my hips, I could feel the friction on my clitoris. “Ooouu, baby, this dick feels so, so, so, good. Fuck me!”
Grabbing my ass, he pounded into me, causing my booty to bounce, along with the water in the tub.
“Yeah! Yeah! Just like that,” I gritted, as he managed to keep half of my tit in his mouth.
I found myself coddling his head, as he began hurriedly fucking me. “Uh, Omari, you make me feel so fucking good.” My mouth fell open, as I held him closely.
He never said a word, as he swirled his tongue around my nipple. With the pregnancy, my breasts were extra sensitive, and his mouth was sending me over the edge. Therefore, it wasn’t long before my hips were bucking, as I came all over his dick.
Although, it was clear that I’d reached my peak, he never stopped jabbing my spot, causing my toes to curl. “Ahhh!” I screeched out.
“Uh huh, uh huh,” he mumbled, still going hard.
“Boy, you nasty,” I stared down at him, while he sucked my breast, and busted inside of me at the same time.
“I know.” He finally lifted his head, before wildly kissing me.
