swimming and my vaginal muscles were already twitching with eagerness. “I don’t think...”

He thrust and it was too late. I exploded while John thrust into me with a ferocity that I’d rarely

experienced with him, drawing my orgasm out until I collapsed into a pile of muscle and bone,

  quivering with pleasure.

  “Get up.”

John withdrew the vibrator and I pressed my knees together, trying to contain the aftershocks that

  rocked me.

“Get up.” I heard his zipper and opened my eyes.

My husband was kneeling before me. His penis was in his hand, big and stiff. John’s eyes shone

with an unholy light. “I warned you, but you wouldn’t listen. Now you’re going to pay the price.”

I bit down on my lower lip and then crawled slowly to my hands and knees.

  “Open your mouth.”

I looked up at him, licking my lips and slowly, ever-so-slowly, opened my mouth.

With cock in hand, he used the head of it to outline my lips. “Lick me.”

I touched the tip of him with my tongue, catching a droplet of moisture that clung to him,

  spreading it across my lips.

“More,” his voice caught in his throat as he thrust his hips forward.

I moved closer and circled him with my tongue, running it beneath the ridge of his erection until I

closed my lips around him, just the tip of him, and sucked.

John threaded his fingers through my hair and groaned. “Oh God, babe! That’s it. Suck me.” He

groaned again. “Oh, fuck...suck me hard.”

Because John seemed to have relinquished his role, I did my best to remind him. “Yes, Master.”

I caught a glimpse of his smile before I closed my eyes, opened my throat and took him in nice

  and deep.

“That’s right. Suck me until I tell you to stop.”

With my mouth full, I could only moan in response. I cupped his balls while I slid my mouth

faster and faster along the length of him.

  “Hold still,” John commanded.

I went still and he held my face firmly beneath my chin. Then he thrust and I opened to take him

until finally I couldn’t do it any longer and I let my jaw close ever so slightly so my teeth grazed the

  length of him.

With a deep inhalation, he pulled out of my mouth and then spun me around and smacked my bare

ass with his open palm. “Naughty girl.” His voice was barely more than a whisper. “You’ll pay for

that.” He spread my ass wide, pressing the pad of his thumb up against my anus.

  I whimpered with desire.

  “Is this what you want?”

  Yes! “No,” I moaned.

His thumb pressed inside my tight opening and I cried out.

“Fuck, Claire, I can’t. I need to...” John’s voice shook. Gone was the commanding tone only to be

replaced by uncontrolled desire. After some fumbling behind me, he buried himself into my pussy and

started ramming me so hard a framed photo of us toppled off our nightstand.

It didn’t take long before he cried out his release and we collapsed together on top of our duvet,

both of us panting with exertion.

“Wow,” John finally said. “It’s been a while since we’ve done that.”

“Mmm,” I sighed, wriggling my body against his, enjoying the pleasant tingles that always

followed the aftermath of a good lovemaking session.

“I think it took you all of three seconds to orgasm.”

I playfully smacked his bare hip. “It’s not like you were about to win any endurance awards,

  mister. I counted five thrusts.”

“No, you just lost count because it felt so damn good.”

I rolled to face him, “Well,” I whispered, “I can’t argue with how good it felt.”

“Neither can I.” John leaned forward and kissed me. It was soft and sweet and his lips tasted of

wine. Normally a beer drinker, I liked the new taste on him.

John rolled on top of me and gently spread my legs with his knees. His kisses deepened and I

wrapped my arms around him, threading my hands through the curls at the nape of his neck.

“God,” he murmured against my lips. “I feel like I’m eighteen again. I hope you’re ready.”

“Oh baby,” I breathed, spreading my legs and inviting entrance to my still pulsing pussy. “I am

  more than ready.”

He rubbed his growing erection against my semen-drenched slit. “You know what I think?” he

whispered. “I think we should have Mar-ten over more often.”

  Chapter One

There was something about the Cologne Cathedral that moved me to tears. I sat in one of the pews

and looked up at the towering domes overhead and the Gothic columns carved from stone with tears

rolling down my cheeks. The reverence of the church took my breath away. I wasn’t a religious person

by any means but when I first stepped through the huge doorway an overwhelming sense of awe filled

me. It was probably because I couldn’t believe such a building existed. The architecture was unreal,

extraordinary and breathtaking, and I had a thought that nothing anyone did today would ever rival it.

And then that made me think of Xavier.

He was why I’d agreed to come on this backpacking tour of Europe (not really authentically

backpacking as we were staying in hotels and not hostels) with my friends Paige and Ethan for the

summer of my sophomore year of art college. Lately, he’d been my reason for everything.

Ethan plopped down next to me in the pew and swung a beefy tattooed arm around my shoulders.

  “Why the tears Em?”

I wiped at my eyes. “I’m not crying.”

“Okay, I must’ve been seeing things.” He squeezed my shoulder. “Let’s grab Paige and get out of

here. We can get some food and a few beers.”

  “Sounds perfect.”

Twenty minutes later we sat on the outdoor patio of Sion, a very cool and famous brew house, in

the heart of the old city. We drank our lagers, and watched the people walk by. I was in love with

Europe, Germany especially. There was something about the country that delighted me. Besides the

fact that Xavier was rumored to be living in an old castle nearby. I found the people full of self-

effacing humor and joy. A solid contrast to how most Germans were portrayed. And the old streets and

buildings nurtured the artist in me. There was nothing like this back home in Ottawa. Everything was

  so new there.

“So, I heard about this cool nightclub nearby,” Paige said, “Do you want to hit it tonight?”

“Where did you hear about it?” I asked, considering we’d been together all morning sightseeing

  through the city.

“Mark, the guy at the store where I bought my cigarettes.”

I shook my head. Paige had the uncanny ability to meet anyone anywhere.

  Ethan, who sat besi
de her at the table, tugged on a strand of hair that had escaped her ponytail.

  “Did you flirt with him?”

  “Of course.” She laughed.

As did I but I didn’t know how Ethan tolerated her incessant flirtations with everyone around her.

Didn’t matter if you were male or female. She once told me she loved everyone. And I believed it. But

he didn’t seem to mind. In fact, I thought it added to their relationship in a way. He seemed so

enamoured of the fact that others wanted her on a daily basis.

I wished I had that kind of allure. To make men and women bend to my will.

I couldn’t even make a guy bend down and pick up my fork if I knocked it off the table.

“Oh and you know what else I heard?” Paige pinned me with her green eyes.

Before she could answer the server showed up with our order of sausage and saurer kraut, the main

staple of a good German diet. I cut a piece and ate it, reveling in the taste, then stared at Paige

  intently.

“Go on then. The suspense is killing me.” I laughed and took another sip of beer.

“I heard that Xavier comes to this nightclub now and then.”

I paused, fork hovering an inch from my lips. I set it down and gaped at her. “No way. I don’t

believe it. He’s an infamous recluse. What would he be doing at a nightclub?”

She laughed. “I don’t know. That’s what I heard. Don’t get all mad at me about it.”

“I’m not mad.” I sighed and leaned back in my chair. “It’s just, no one really knows what Xavier

looks like. If he truly went to some silly nightclub then there’d be rumors of what he looks like,

wouldn’t there? There’d be some evidence.”

She pointed her fork at me. “You know what I think, Emily? I think you’re obsessed with him.

With the thought of him. I bet he’s an old pot-bellied balding man with mental issues.”

“I doubt it.” I shoveled more food into my mouth so as to stop me from saying any more than that.

The fact was I didn’t know much about Xavier. What I did know without a shadow of a doubt was

that he was the most gifted painter I’d ever seen. In my opinion his work was beyond extraordinary.

The first time I’d seen one of his paintings, in particular his outstanding painting of a woman in the

throes of orgasm, simple called O, I knew I had to find out everything I could about the artist.

Unfortunately there hadn’t been much information out there about him. He was male, of an

undetermined age and nationality, and lived somewhere in Europe.

Not much to go on, but I’d been tenacious and determined and I was able to suss out that he lived

in Germany in an old castle somewhere near the city of Cologne. So when Ethan and Paige had told

me they were thinking about going backpacking through Europe for the summer, I invited myself

quite vehemently. Paige knew of my fascination (obsession she liked to call it on a daily basis) with

Xavier so she quietly accepted my self-invite to spend the summer with them.

After we ate lunch, we walked the cobbled streets of the old city, dashing into this shop and that,

but all I could think about was Xavier. About the possibility of actually meeting him. What if he did

frequent this particular nightclub? What if I had a chance to meet him? What the hell was I going to

  wear?

With this thought in mind, I stopped in front of a dress shop and stared into the store display

window at a slinky emerald green number that I knew would make my blue eyes pop and my blond

  hair shimmer.

Paige stood beside me. “You should go in and try in on.”

“They probably won’t have it in my size. All dresses like that are size 4 and below.”

  “You don’t know that.”

“I bet it’s like over four hundred dollars.”

“I’ll help you pay for it.”

I looked at her and frowned. “Paige, don’t be silly.”

“Hon, for as long as I’ve known you, you have never spent more than a hundred dollars on

yourself. You’ve always found ways to scrimp and save and cut corners and go without.” She grabbed

my arm and pulled me through the door. Ethan opted to sit on the bench outside the shop and check his

emails on his phone. “Today you are going to treat yourself to something extravagant and you’re

going to wear the shit out of that dress, I promise you that.”

Twenty minutes later, I stood in front a trio of full length mirrors with the dress on and beamed.

They did have my size, and it fit better than I could’ve hoped.

Paige beamed at me. “You look incredible.” She gathered my loose hair and piled it on top of my

head. “And with your hair up and makeup, you will out sexy every woman in the nightclub. And

maybe you’ll meet a really hot guy who will make you forget all about the elusive Xavier.”

I smiled and nodded at her as she turned me this way and that, to make sure that my ass was

accentuated properly in the dress. But I didn’t agree with her. I didn’t think anything or anyone would

make me forget about Xavier. My sole purpose on this trip was to find him, to talk to him. I didn’t

care what he looked like or how old he was. His work transcended all that for me. His work moved me

in ways nothing else could. Not by a word or by a touch.

I just wanted to know him. Even if it was just for a moment. For I knew that moment would alter

  everything.

Late that night, we took a taxi to Friesenplatz where Carpe Noctem, the nightclub Paige had been

told about, was situated. Cologne had a vibrant nightlife. It had more pubs than any city in Germany

and close to seventy dance clubs. Needless to say, the streets were packed with scantily clad men and

  women looking for a party.

There was a lineup to get into the club. But I didn’t mind. It was a beautiful evening out. Warm

with just a bit of a breeze. And I was dressed in my gorgeous new dress, with three inch heels, makeup

(Paige did me up good) and my hair swept up into a messy top knot. Even I had to admit, I looked

  damn good.

Ethan swung his arms around both my and Paige’s shoulders. “You do realize I am with the two

sexiest ladies in the country, don’t you?”

“Yeah, of course, duh.” Paige grabbed him around the head and pulled him into a kiss.

I turned the other way and pretended to be interested in the crowd behind me. While I glanced at

unfamiliar faces and gave furtively little smiles when caught looking, I could sense someone was

watching me in return. I turned back to Ethan and Paige, but they were in full-on make out mode, so it

wasn’t them. I glanced back at the crowd, searching for that piercing stare that seemed to go right to

my belly. But I didn’t find the source.

I did catch the eye of a cutie about ten people ahead of us. He had sharp cheekbones and a great

smile. I returned his smile, but it wasn’t his stare that had given me shivers up and down my spine.

He wasn’t my watcher. Before I could continue the search though, the line moved and we entered the

  club.

Carpe Noctem was a mimosa of a rave complete with lasers and glow painted bodies and a gothic

castle. Black painted walls served as a canvas for creative glow art and naughty words. In every corner

sat red velvet sofas and high-backed Queen Anne chairs. Lacy curtains hung as barriers to private

rooms. It was as decadent as it was vivacious and I loved it.

The electronic music thumped from the speakers an
d vibrated against my skin. It was like being

caressed by sound. Grabbing Paige’s hand I pulled her toward the dance floor. I had to dance now. She

had a quick discussion with Ethan, then we were on the floor right smack in the middle of the sweating

  gyrating throng of dancers.

She leaned into my ear. “Ethan is getting us drinks and a spot to sit.”

I just nodded, and continued to dance. I threw my arms in the air. I hadn’t felt this free in a very

long time. Maybe never. After a few songs, although one bled into another so it was hard to tell, Paige

gestured that she was going to get a drink. I stayed on the floor. I was having too much fun to move.

I danced and I laughed and I even let a girl grind up on me. I felt bold and decadent and sexy.

Which was new for me. I was usually very reserved especially when it came to sexuality. One of my

art professors told me that I painted without passion. That to be a good artist I needed to find my inner

  vixen, my inner goddess.

As I lifted my arms in the air and spun around to the music, I could feel her ticking inside. Like a

time bomb ready to explode. I just needed the right incendiary mechanism.

My throat was dry from screaming “Yeah!” every time the DJ asked. I left the floor to find Paige

and Ethan and a drink. I had to push my way out of the crowd and to the bar. Once there, I saw Paige

waving at me from the corner. They had managed to procure a couple of spots on the sofa. There were

other people there as well, but I didn’t mind. It was a place to sit and rest for a moment.

The moment I reached them, Ethan handed me a shot, and we all clinked glasses and drank. The

alcohol burned on the way down, but it filled my belly with a ball of comforting heat. I did another

shot to keep that warm glow going, then jump hugged Paige.

“I love you,” I shouted at her.

She laughed and squeezed me tight. “I’ve never seen you so happy before.”

“I feel so at home here. Like this is where I should’ve been born.”

I kissed her on the mouth, then grabbed Ethan and kissed him too. They both just laughed and

shook their heads at me. Then I made my way back to the dance floor.

I didn’t know how long I danced for but by the time I thought to find Paige and Ethan again, my

whole body was slick with sweat. The top knot of my hair had come loose, and I had pulled out the
