Magic in His Touch Page 7

She leaned up on her elbow, looking at him. “Then, love me, my demon, because right now, I feel as if I’m going to burst if something does not happen.” She leaned down and scraped her fangs against his chest.

  Chapter Nine

Elf didn’t recognize herself. She wanted to crawl all over Kayden, and she knew she’d been stupid for not feeding before going down to the family hall. “Kayden, we might have a serious problem here.”

Rolling on top of her, he stared down at her and smiled. “All you need to do is ask. Feed, Elf,” he said. “But know, I will be taking you into me, also,” he said, lowering down, kissing the top of her head.

His cock was thick and long against her skin below. She wanted to feed from him but didn’t understand what he meant about him feeding from her; he wasn’t a bloodsucker.

Elf ran her tongue across his chest, tasting him. She swore nothing ever tasted as good as he did as she sank her fangs into him. The first blood drops hit her tongue; it was as if lights exploded in her head, as he moved his hips, rubbing his cock on her sensitive skin between her legs. Elf drank, her arms slid around his waist, the strength in his blood replenished her quickly as Elf pulled back, sealing the holes in his chest at the same time Kayden inched his cock inside her, stretching her.

Nothing could compare to the sensory overload she was feeling right then. Her body wasn’t hers anymore; it was his, Kayden’s. Her mate now lover. She sunk her nails into his back as he pushed further into her.

“Kayden,” she whispered against his chest, rubbing her cheek against him, wondering if she were also part cat because Elf swore she was purring. Pleasure rushed through her as he rocked slowly back and forth working himself into her.

“Wrap your legs around me, angel,” he growled, and that’s when she noticed that his skin was thicker and a pink color. Her man, the both of them, were loving her, showing Elf what it was to be loved by a man. Giving her everything he had but gentle like that of a baby until fangs sank into her neck shocking her and driving her body even higher if that was even possible as he fed from her.

“Yes,” she whispered as he sank fully into her and moved in and out of her, slowly as if he were trying to find... “What...” was all she got out when Kayden angled his cock inside her, hitting that same spot again, sending her over a mountain.

Pleasure, lights, and stars filled her head as her body shook, having no control over anything right at the minute. The pressure on her neck was released as Kayden threw his head back, growling, thrusting into her three more times before warmness filled her, starting inside her pussy and spreading through her whole body.

Leaning down, Kayden rolled them once more to where she laid on top of him. Her body sweaty and coming down from a high Elf would never be able to explain. Tears filled her eyes, a knot formed in her throat as she buried her face in the crook of his neck, not able to hide the tears anymore.

Kayden sat up, pulling her into his arm. “Did I hurt you?” he asked, setting her back, searching her face and body.

“No, if anything, you were so gentle,” she said, wiping the tears away.

“Then, why are you crying, angel?”

“Because I just realized how much they have stolen from me,” Elf said, hating that her lip was trembling, the tears threating to come back. “From you.” She looked up into his eyes. “They took what should have been yours.”

“Aww, angel, don’t cry. Don’t you know you have given that to me already?” He pulled up the cover, it was soft as he tucked it around her. “I got to give you what any woman should have, love. To me, it was your first time. We will have many firsts, little angel, but we must remember to not allow those who stole from you to win. Every new experience is a win in my book. Look out there at this view, the world is waiting for us, and I plan on sharing with you every single day.”

She placed a kiss on his chest and looked out at the city below. The stars were bright as the moon shined bright in the sky. “You know they most likely took my eggs,” she said. “What if I have children out there?”

“You, Nava, Darla, and the other females will start your search soon, and we will be standing beside you. I don’t care if there are twenty little ones of you out there. We will find them and bring them back to the family, our family.” He picked her up and placed her on the bed, getting up.

“Now, I think it’s time for us to celebrate,” Kayden said as he poured two glasses of some bubbly drink and turned to hand her one of the glasses. “A new first, your first taste of champagne.”

Joining her on the bed, he tapped her glass. “To hundreds of new firsts to share together. It will be like I’m experiencing it again,” Kayden told her, watching as she lifted the glass to her lips and sipping the liquid.

It was sweet but not too sweet, the bubbles tickled her nose. It was different that was for sure. “Strange, sweet, but good,” she smiled up at him.

“It should be good. I have a feeling your father paid a pretty penny for that bottle,” he told her, wrapping his arm around her.

“We should head back; Mom will be bringing the children back to our rooms soon,” Elf said, resting her head against his chest. “Are we really mated now?” she asked, taking another little sip.

“Yes, I have marked you, taking you into me, and my DNA is running in your body now. You are mine, and I’m yours. We’ll leave in a minute. I just want to hold you and enjoy the view around us with my woman in my arms.” He kissed the top of her head.

“Tell me, are you one of those jealous types my father told me about?” Elf asked, remembering her father, wishing he were there with her.

“You’re talking about your blood father? The one that was also in that place?” he asked.

“Yes, just like me, he was a prisoner. I don’t know how they kept him when his people are like Storm and can move from place to place. Eventually, I’d like to see if we can find his family, would you mind?” Elf asked, peeking up at him.

“Elf, you can do what you’d like. You are free, but of course, we can search for them.” Kayden frowned. “If he was an elf, that means you are, also. Why can’t you do the things they are able to do?” he asked, looking down at her.

“My father didn’t talk much about his kind. They had listening devices and cameras everywhere.” She looked up at him. “He’d been there longer than I had been.”

“We’ll find every single asshole out there, and we won’t rest ‘til we do. Come, let’s get dressed and go back to the room. It’s getting chilly out here.” He reached down and grabbed his shirt. Why don’t you put this on and wrap that blanket around you ‘til we get back?”

“I do have clothes,” she looked around, frowning. “What happened to my clothes?”

Kayden smiled. “Um, I’m afraid I kind of threw them off the balcony.”

Elf laughed and shook her head at the expression on his face. “You know that was...” She frowned. “Do you think Storm is okay?” she asked as he helped her dress in his shirt before he slid on his jeans.

“From what Ringo has told me, Storm is out of surgery. She’s made it that far and is holding her own. We just have to wait. The next twenty-four hours are the important ones.” Kayden lifted her up in his arms.

“Don’t forget the champagne; we don’t want to waste it,” Elf said, bending down and grabbing the bottle as he smiled at her, shaking his head.

“Do you think we can go visit Storm? She’s done so much for all of us. Did you know she also helped the other women with their clothes? I don’t know how she stays in business when she gives away all her works.”

“Tell me something. What did you do to pass the time? Were you allowed to read, do school work?” Kayden asked as they moved around the corner and down the hall toward her suites.

“No, they didn’t want us to learn anything, but we were lucky there. Books and magazines were snuck in. The older people there taught the younger how to do math and to read. I made sure to
start both of my girls early. I also taught them to write. I’m not that great, but I can print at least.”

“You know they have a great program in town to help adults if you’d like to get your high school diploma. They also have many different programs you might be interested in, computers, writing, design, all sorts of thing. Then, there is the apprenticeship program. Most store owners love to have people come and apprentice under them. Hell, I’m sure your mom would love to show you all about her business,” Kayden said, stepping up into their wing.

“I sure would. We could see a mother-daughter store together if you’d like,” Darla said, meeting them in the hallway with her children and Drake holding Willow in his arms.

“Did you know this lady can draw? She made me a picture; I’m going to frame and put it in my office, right beside our two little girls’ pictures,” Drake said, smiling down at her two sisters.

“I know, and it sure does not come from me. I can barely manage smiley faces. How did the meeting go? Is everything okay?” she asked as Kayden lowered her down on the sofa in her family room.

“The men that had you are in the hold and Tormac...” he growled lowering Willow to the floor. “He’s been taken care of and will never again bother or hurt another.”

Elf closed her eyes, resting her head back against the sofa, releasing the breath she had in her lungs. “Did he tell you anything about the others?” she asked, looking up at Drake.

“Why don’t we speak of this tomorrow. I think tonight, we should spend it with the girls after you feed this little guy.” Kayden smiled, lifting Malcom out of Darla’s arms. “This little guy is so alert, and he knows his momma’s voice,” he said as the boy started to whimper as he went to place him in her arms but looked at the t-shirt and then him.

Elf laughed, getting up slowly and moving to the bedroom. “I’ll be out in a minute, but you can change him since I really smell him right now. The diapers and wipes are by the couch,” Elf said, laughing and closing the door.

“That is our cue to leave you all to bond,” Drake said, slapping him on the back. “Congrats; welcome to fatherhood, son.” He laughed, escorting out Darla and shutting the door behind him.

Both Willow and Maranda giggled as he sat down on the ground, looking for a blanket to put the little guy on. “Willow, would you spread out the throw on the floor here for me,” he asked, wrinkling his nose as she did what he asked.

“So, are you our Daddy now?” Willow asked.

“Yes, is that going to be okay with you two?” He placed Malcom down and started to unsnap the cute one piece on him when his fingers slid into something warm and very stinky. He moaned, and the two girls giggled at him. “Maranda, hand me those wipes, will you.” He pulled out his hand as Maranda pinched her nose, handing him the wipes.

  “My brother stinks,” Maranda said.

“That he does. I think it’s taking you an awfully long time in there,” Kayden yelled over his shoulder.

Sliding Malcom’s legs out while cleaning each leg, putting each wipe in the messed-up outfit. As far as he was concerned, the thing could go in the trash along with the diaper as he took it off, rolling it all in the outfit after cleaning the little guy up. It took everything in him not to gag at the stink, but he was going to do this. Prove to his little angel, well right now, he could swear she had a little horn on the top of her head.

“Oh, you might want to watch out, seems my son has...” her words were cut off as she came out of the room, her warning too late as Malcom decided to pee. His aim was right on, hitting him in the face, mouth, not to mention himself.

Kayden grabbed he diaper and placed it over his little member and turned to glare at his mate who had just grown two little horns. But seeing her bent over laughing with tears rolling down her face, all he could do was shake his head and start once more cleaning himself and his son up.

“You, little guy, are going to be a wild one; I can just feel it,” he said, placing a kiss on the little one’s cheek and handing a clean little boy to his mother to eat. “Now, if you will excuse me, I’m going to wash my mouth out and scrub my face.” Moving toward the bedroom, he stopped and looked over his shoulder. “Girls, why don’t you climb onto the bed, and we can all watch some TV together tonight, curled up together.”

Elf looked over her shoulder at him smiling. “You wouldn’t mind?” she asked.

“You are my family now, Elf, all of you. But you should have warned me about that little guy’s bombs. That outfit is going in the trash, too.”

She smiled, standing, following the girls into the room.

“You aren’t going home?” Willow asked.

“You guys are my home now. Where you go, I go. For now, we’ll live here ‘til we decided where we want to live. Plus, it’s safer here now that security has been upped, until we can make sure every one of those bad guys is caught,” he said, moving into the bathroom, grabbing a towel and started to wash his face.

After washing off the soap, he opened his eyes to see Willow there next to him, handing him the towel. “You really are going to stay, protect us?” she asked again, almost afraid, her eyes showing that this child had seen too much.

He lifted Willow up and placed her on the counter. “You are now my daughter. I protect what is mine.” He reached up and tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear. “Why don’t you go get the brush. When I’m done here, I’ll braid your hair for you. If I’m not mistaken, I saw some cool beads on the dresser out there, too, we can use,” he told her.

Her eyes got big. “You’d do my hair?”

“Of course. I might not be too good at it. I used to braid my sister’s hair for her, but I’ll try to do my best,” he told her, picking her up and placing a kiss on the top of her head before placing her on the ground and watching her run into the room past Elf, who stood in the doorway.

She moved into the room and wrapped her arms around his waist, resting her cheek on his chest. “Thank you, Kayden. I don’t know how, but I love you, and I can’t wait to share my life with you.”

He turned, wrapping his arms around her and tried to kiss her, but she shook her head and backed up, laughing. “Nope, you haven’t brushed your mouth yet, not going to happen.” She giggled and tried to get out of his arms.

“Woman, give me a kiss,” he growled, and she giggled again as Maranda came in and wrapped her arms around his leg.

“I want to play, too,” she said, smiling.

“Oh, you want kisses, too?” He went to reach for her, and she squirmed out of his reach, laughing as both women took off into the room, leaving him standing there.

His mom had been right. His mate not only connected with him on an emotional level, but she was also his world now, and so were the children. Kayden’s life was complete. Now, all he had to do was find those that threatened to take it away from him and keep his family safe at the same time.

But he wasn’t alone. No, this group had made some deadly enemies attacking their city, and none of them would rest until each one was dead. Hearing the giggling, Kayden hurried up brushing his teeth, not wanting to miss one smile, laugh from his family.
