PORN STARS... More Than Just Moans Page 60

by Joseph, Fabiola;L. Ramsey, Matthew

I thought about everything I wanted to say, while Jasmine continued to ask questions. I reassured her that this woman was alone, and that Tyree wouldn’t arrive until later that night. I figured I’d give Jasmine one last chance to change her mind. She didn’t say no, so I knocked on the door a few times. When she opened the door I could tell right away she was trying to figure out who we were. I figured I’d tell her I was a friend of Tyree’s in hopes that she’d invite us inside. It worked because she introduced herself as June before welcoming us inside, and leading us to the living room. She was so gorgeous, and that was without any make up on so I could see why Tyree liked her. She was also huge, and looked like she was going to have a big baby sometime soon. She offered us a seat, so we made ourselves comfortable as we made small talk.

“You look like you’re about have that baby any day now. Do you know what you’re having yet?” I asked.

  “A boy.”

“Do you know what you’re going to name him?”

“Well, Tyree wants him to be a junior, but that’s not happening. I’m naming him James after my grandfather.”

I looked around and admired her small home, it was nice and clean. I was trying to wait for the right moment to tell her why we were really there, but she wanted to know how I knew Tyree, and if he was okay. I told her we worked together, and I’m not going to lie, I got a little pleasure out of telling her the half-truth; but I wasn’t going to play around with her and beat around the bush any longer, so I spoke up.

“Yeah, he’s fine, but I’m not.”

I heard the concern in her voice as she asked, “Who did you say you were again?”

“I’m his boyfriend.” I replied calmly as I reached into my gym bag to show her the DVD’s I brought.

It wasn’t until I had the cases in my hand that all of my built up anger came rushing out. I put the movies in front of her while rubbing it in her face that Tyree was my man.

“I bet he never told you he was a gay porn star, did he?” I said as she stared at the movies. You could see the hurt and confusion written all over her face. June excused herself, so while she was in the kitchen getting some water Jasmine stood up and questioned me. I made it clear that I didn’t care if June told Tyree everything I said.

“So you’re not worried about what Tyree’s going to do when he finds out what you did?”

“FUCK HIM, as soon as I get back to L.A. I’m renting a condo, and moving out until we can figure out who’s keeping the house. I’m finally done with his trifling ass.”

Jazzy didn’t look convinced, or relieved. She just sat back down and was quiet.

“So you mean to tell me that I’m supposed to believe that Tyree is a porn star, and that you’re his boyfriend?” June said as she came walking out of the kitchen.

I confirmed that it was the truth, and that Tyree was no good. I think I pissed her off though when I said her unborn baby was major baggage. She got in my face, and started yelling and accusing me of being a liar.

“I DON’T KNOW WHAT KIND OF GAMES YOU’RE PLAYING, FAGGOT, BUT I DON’T BELIEVE YOUR LIES.”

That was when I lost it. I started yelling back at her and had to stop myself from smacking the shit out of her.

“BITCH, you better back the fuck up out of my face.”

She didn’t let her guard down, and was actually standing up to me like I was the one who should’ve been scared. The nerve of her, here I was trying to warn her that she was planning a future with a man who was living a double life. She should’ve cried and thanked me but she was yelling at me and challenging me like I was the bad guy. I wanted to put her in her place, and scare her so I got the gun out and put it up to her cheek. She was terrified now; I could see it in her eyes. Jazzy tried to stop me and looked petrified too. Once I knew she was going to calm down, shut up, and back the fuck up I put the gun down so I could get my point across. I wanted her focused only on my words, and not the gun.

“Not only does he have sex with men in front of the camera, but he’s fucked random men for money off camera too.”

She was still in denial. She thought I was making everything up even though the proof was in the pudding. She finally decided she heard enough and told us to get out. I felt like I did enough damage, even though she was faking like what I said didn’t bother her. I was going to leave but first I had to tell her how sad she was, and told her to Google “gay porn star Konceited” if she didn’t believe me. I started gathering all of my stuff so we could get out of there when I heard the gun shot. It scared me so I threw the DVDs in the air and jumped to the ground. I looked in Jasmine’s direction and the first thing I noticed, she was holding the gun.

“WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU JUST DO?” I asked as I turned to look at June. She was lying on the floor with blood all over her chest. I noticed she had a big ass Michael Myer’s butcher knife in her hand. I didn’t move at first, because I didn’t know what to do.

“Oh, my God, oh, my God, oh, my God, did I just, wait is she? She was going to stab you with that knife. I don’t know what happened, I just reacted.”

Jasmine was pale and in shock. I slowly got up and grabbed the gun out of her hand. I put it in my gym bag, picked up the movies, and got Jasmine out of there without touching anything. I put my hand in my shirt and opened the door so we could exit, and left the front door opened hoping whoever discovered her would think it was a robbery that went bad. I held Jasmine’s hand as we walked in a fast pace back to the car. I wanted to speed off like a NASCAR driver, but I drove out of her neighborhood like everything was normal. Both of us were silent and looking straight ahead. Now I was scared, and regretting going there in the first place. I didn’t expect that to go down the way it did.

A part of me wanted to hurt her, and put it all on Tyree so that both of us could be sitting there waiting for him to arrive. I wanted to see his face and hear his reaction when June confronted him, but when she started yelling at me I knew that wasn’t going to happen. I should’ve just left right then and there with the satisfaction that I told her, and that Tyree would’ve been caught off guard when she talked to him about it. Jasmine finally spoke, and asked me if June was dead. Once I confirmed that she was gone, Jazzy started to panic. I wanted to calm her down, but I couldn’t. She was freaking out so bad that it was making me paranoid. I knew one thing though we needed to figure out our next move, and we had to come up with a plan fast. Both of us had to be on the same page and make sure our stories matched in case we were questioned by the cops. I think mentioning this to her made her stop and think about what really just happened, and what she would say.

After another brief moment of silence, she made it clear that she wasn’t going to confess to anything, and she expected me not to either. Now she really had me thinking about the cops finding out we did it. I couldn’t believe there was a big chance that we could get arrested for murder. I didn’t want to point fingers but I asked Jasmine why she had to kill her. I knew I was wrong for that because she saved my life. I wanted to thank her, but at the same time I wanted to shake her and scream, “WHY DIDN’T YOU TRY SHOOTING HER IN THE ARM, OR IN THE HAND?”

She started to put the blame on me like it was my fault because I brought the gun inside. I had to let her know she had options, she didn’t have to follow me inside, but I quickly regretted that too. She made me feel so small, and so stupid for even allowing things to go down the way they did. She had some very good points too. I felt bad when she pointed out that I was dishonest, and led her to believe we were driving home, not to Santa Barbara. At that time I wasn’t thinking clearly, and I didn’t look at it like that. All I could see was hurting Tyree, not Jasmine. Now all I could picture was us going from porn stars to convicted murderers, shown on every news channel, talked about on every blog, doing time in prison, while Tyree was doing whatever he wanted to do.

I couldn’t turn around, and do it over again although I wished I could. I realized that Jasmine was right, and that I owed her big time. I apologize
d before we held hands and were both silent again. After a good thirty minutes she told me what to say which was only “Who is June?” if we were ever questioned by anyone. If we got away with it, she made it clear that she would die with this secret we shared, so I agreed that I would do the same. I continued driving toward L.A. while we discussed what we were going to say we did that day. Even though it was a lie, all we could do was stick to the plan and hope that no one would ever suspect we killed her. I think once we had our story straight we were both a little more at ease. We didn’t talk anymore, and we almost made it home before I realized the car was almost out of gas. I didn’t want to risk the car running out completely because we would’ve had to walk to get some more, or we would’ve had to walk the rest of the way to Breeze’s house. I pulled into the first gas station that I came to. I was still a little nervous and shook up about everything so I handed Jasmine seventy dollars and asked her to fill up the tank.

I figured she could use some fresh air, and I needed to be alone for a couple of minutes. I just wanted to get to Breeze’s house so I could relax and feel somewhat safe. I realized Jasmine was taking a long time to come back out of the gas station, so I decided to get out, and see what she was doing. As soon as I could see inside I was shocked. Jasmine was kicking Tanya’s ass, bringing even more attention to her like she didn’t just murder someone. That’s all we needed was her on video beating up a former porn star. I ran inside and yelled at her.

“JAZZY, STOP, COME ON LET’S GET OUT OF HERE.”

I watched as she calmly threw the cash on the counter and told the cashier how much gas we needed like nothing just happened. I looked at him and he looked shocked, but he started pushing buttons on the cash register.

“I’m going to refill my coffee cup, go pump the gas, and I’ll be right there,” Jazzy said as I waited to see if the cashier really just accepted our purchase, I just knew he was going to turn us down, and call the cops. Once he started handing me the change I told him to keep it, ran outside, and started filling up the tank. Jasmine walked to the car as if she didn’t have a care in the world. I was so worried that I didn’t even wait for the gas to finish pumping. I stopped it, and got back in my truck and drove off.

“What the fuck was that? Do you really want the cops looking for you after the day we’ve had?”

“Look, the bitch threatened me like she was about to beat my ass or something, so I shut her up, and took her tall ass down. You should’ve seen her face when the coffee landed on her. She looked disturbed, and couldn’t even defend herself.”

“So what are you going to do if she calls the cops, and they have you on camera fucking her up?”

“I’m not worried about that, if I know Tanya, she’s too jealous of me. She will want revenge before she will want me locked up.”

I couldn’t believe the day we were having, first Jasmine kills June, and then she assaults Tanya. I needed that day to end already. We made it to Breeze’s mansion and realized Jasmine would have the house to herself for two days, so she asked me if I’d keep her company. There was no way I was going home, because I couldn’t be alone after what went down. As I was telling Jasmine I was staying, Tyree called. She looked at me like answer it and find out what he has to say.

  “What’s up Tyree?”

“Nothing much, I’m driving right now. I was just thinking about you so I wanted to call you. What’s up with you?” he asked calmly, which made me start to doubt that he made it to Santa Barbara.

  “I’m chilling with Jasmine.”

“What are you two getting into tonight?”

“I don’t know. We haven’t really decided. We’ll probably just rent a movie.”

  “Oh, okay, that’s cool.”

He was silent which gave me the opportunity to figure out if he knew anything.

“Did you make it to Santa Barbara okay?”

“Naw, I’m just going to drive up there in the morning. I’m tired and don’t want to fall asleep behind the wheel. I was going to pick up something to eat on my way in the house and wanted to see if you needed anything, but I see you already have plans. Have fun, I’ll see you later.”

I hung up with a feeling of relief because Tyree wouldn’t find out about June, and his unborn son until the following day. He would never suspect Jazzy and I had anything to with their murders. As long as no one saw us leaving her house, and recognized us we were good. All I had to do now was deal with my conscience which I prayed over time would get easier. Jazzy and I talked and flipped through all of the different news channels to see if there was any mention of the murders. Two hours had passed and my eyes were so heavy, I tried to fight the sleep but I couldn’t. I stretched out on the couch, closed my eyes, and while Jazzy was still talking I was out.

  *****

Waking up from good nap after that long ride and seeing Tyree’s face was not what I expected to see. It was quite scary so I froze and stared at him. At first I didn’t know if I was dreaming, or awake, but once I knew it wasn’t a dream there was no hiding the fear in my eyes. I was wide awake now, but speechless.

“Wake up baby, I missed you,” he said before kissing my forehead. He looked at me and smiled, which made me feel good but I hadn’t missed him at all. I felt the exact opposite and wanted him to leave. I sat up so that I could be more prepared in case he tried something. He was standing in front of me so he had to lean down to kiss me again. His kiss was so passionate and romantic; I couldn’t even remember the last time he’d kissed me like that. I had to know what he was doing there so I asked.

“I thought I’d surprise you, and show you how much I missed you. Plus, I just had to see you tonight.”

Tyree surprising me was like winning the Power Ball, the odds were against me so his tone and words said one thing while his actions said another. I looked around to see where Jasmine was and he noticed.

“How about that drink Jazzy?” he asked as he sat down beside me on the couch smiling at me. I needed Jasmine to hurry up because I didn’t know what to do or say. There was this awkward silence so I just said the first thing that I could think of.

“Guess who I ran into in Vegas?”

  “I have no idea, who?”

  “Blaze and Karma were there.”

  “Oh, for real? That’s cool.”

I could tell he wasn’t interested, so I tried changing the subject.

  “So how was your day?”

  “It was long and crazy.”

  “Why, what happened?”

“Nothing I just need to get away. I need a vacation.”

“You’re right. We should go to Jamaica, or the Dominican Republic. Would you like that?” I asked as if I wasn’t planning on ending our relationship.

“Yeah definitely, we should do that.”

Jazzy finally walked back into the living room carrying our drinks. She put them down on the coffee table, and looked at me like something was wrong. After she pointed her eyes in the direction of the glass closest to Tyree I knew not to drink that one. I had no idea what she was up to, but that gave me confirmation that Tyree definitely wasn’t being himself because she picked up on it too. Tyree told Jazzy he was wondering why I wasn’t happy to see him. I tried my best to fake like I was excited.

“Are you now? ‘Cause you’ve been really distant lately. I thought it had something to do with June.”

He said it so calmly we wouldn’t expect it coming, and he’d see the shock written all over our faces. Jazzy and I both stood up at the same time, but before I knew it I was back on the couch. Tyree hit me so hard that I had figure out what just happened. I had an instant headache, but I was ready to attack. I got ready to charge him, but I stopped in my tracks when he pulled out a gun, not just any gun, Blaze’s gun. I wasn’t thinking when we got back to Breeze’s house, and left my gym bag in the rental car. Not only did he have the gun, but he must’ve found the DVD’s too. I didn’t know what Tyree planned to do to us, but I knew it wasn’t going to be good. I thought I’d
try acting my way out of it.

“What the fuck is wrong with you Tyree, and who the hell is June?”

He hit me up side my head with the gun with such force that blood started to run down the side of my face.

“I told your ass to get up. If you don’t want the other side of your head to leak I’d advise you to do so.”

I couldn’t take another hit like that so I did as he demanded.

“Now open up my book bag, and take out the rope, and duct tape.”

“HELP!” Jasmine screamed out and started to run toward the front door. She wasn’t fast enough because Tyree caught her and hit her in the back of her head with the gun.

“BITCH, IF YOU SCREAM, OR TRY TO GET AWAY AGAIN I’M GOING TO KILL YOU SLOWLY. NOW GET YOUR ASS BACK OVER THERE.”

I was speechless. I never expected Tyree to hit me let alone hit a woman. He looked at me and told me to bring two chairs over from the dining room. I was too scared not to.

“Tie her up in the chair right now. Make sure she can’t get up either.”

He pushed her down onto the chair.

“Damn, you don’t need to manhandle me Tyree.”

  “Shut up bitch.”

He punched her in the mouth which busted her top lip. When Jasmine turned back around to look at him she had blood in her mouth, and she looked furious. I would bet anything that she wished she would’ve killed Tyree instead of June.

  “I SAID TIE HER UP.”

I whispered “I’m sorry” loud enough for her to hear me as I kneeled down, grabbed her arms, and folded them behind the chair so I could tie her up.

“Now get your ass up and get in the other chair.”

I looked up at him and he looked evil. I didn’t have anything to lose, so I tried talking my way out of what was to come.

“Baby, why are you so mad? Why are you doing this?”
