“Relax.” He placed a tub pillow behind her neck. “Close your eyes. Breathe in the steam. I’ll fix your coffee and be back in a minute. How do you like it dressed?”
“One sweetener, that’s all.”
By the time he returned with her coffee in a hotel mug, she was limp as a noodle. Even the stinging on her ass had abated. Sam handed her the mug then eased himself into the tub behind her. Abbie sipped on the hot coffee, sighing as its heat spread through her body.
He reached down to pick up a small bottle he’d placed next to the tub, uncapped it and squeezed some of the lotion into the palm of his hand. With a lazy motion he rubbed it into her skin, starting at her neck and working his way down her arm. By the time she finished her coffee, he’d massaged the soothing balm into every inch of skin above her waist. He took the empty mug, set it on the floor and urged her to her knees.
“This will help your body everywhere, sweet girl. Relax for me. That’s it.”
As good as his word, he worked the lotion everywhere including her pussy and rectum until she tingled pleasantly. He pulled her back against him and she sighed. His arms cradled her body.
“So. Let’s talk about what comes next.”
Her heart stuttered. Was this the goodbye and farewell? Had he loosened her up to deliver the bad news? “Next?”
He shifted slightly, his cock rubbing in the crevice of her ass. “Remember telling me you were looking for something different? Something maybe more meaningful than you could get in the clubs?”
“Uh huh.”
“Correct me if I’m wrong, Abbie, but I get the feeling that despite all of this being new to you, you want something beyond the opportunity for Dom/sub play. That the really important thing for you is a relationship with a Master who cares only for you. I’m right, aren’t I?”
How should she answer him? What if her answer scared him away?
She bit her lower lip. How should she answer him? If she said yes, would he run like hell because the word commitment reminded him of a disease? Or was he tired of meaningless hookups and would run if instead she said no? They’d learned a lot about each other in the intimacy of the past night, but that left still so much they didn’t know.
The truth, Abigail. That always works best, whatever happens.
“Abbie?” He squeezed her slightly with his thighs. “I didn’t think that was such a hard question. And any answer you give me is right.”
“Well, um….” She swallowed. “Yes. You’re right. I want this. No, I need this. But I found out I’m not cut out to just play the scene. I need….” She hesitated. “Something more.”
Sam’s hands palmed her breasts. “Do you ever think about fate, sugar? That if you’re in the right place at the right time, the right thing happens?”
She shrugged, wondering what he meant. Hoping he had the same thoughts she did.
“I think we were meant to meet downstairs in the bar last night. For both of us to be there when we were. Because Abbie? I’ve been looking for the same thing for a long time. One woman, who wants the same things I do both in and out of the bedroom. To make a life with.”
“We don’t really know each other,” she pointed out.
“True enough, but I’m fixing to change that.” He shifted and the water sloshed. “For one thing, I’m being reassigned to the Ranger Company based in San Antonio. One more month and I’ll be up here permanently.”
Her pulse raced. “Here? You’ll be here?”
“Uh huh. That’ll give us a chance to really see if this thing is what we think it is. How does that sound?”
She laughed softly. “That sounds really good to me.”
“But first I thought we’d have a leisurely breakfast, fool around a little, and tonight you can go to my friend’s wedding with me. Get a feel for who and what I am. And my friends. Think you could go along with that?”
“I’d need to stop by my place and change clothes.” She jabbed him lightly with her elbow. “Especially since I need to get a new thong.”
“Honey girl, I’ll buy you all the thongs you want, for nothing more than the pleasure of tearing them off of you. So what do you say? Is it a go?”
She turned and studied his face for a long moment then smiled. “Yes, Sir. Whatever you say, Sir.”
