“I love you, too, Asher.” Her voice was heavy and full of lust for me, and I couldn’t control it any longer as I pumped hard and felt her contract tighter around me. As I did, I emptied myself into her.
“You do this every morning?” Jackson asked me as we jogged down the street, each pushing a jog stroller. I’d talked him into buying one yesterday so he could run with me while we were visiting.
“Yeah. I’ve been running up and down the hills in San Francisco, though. This flat stuff is nothing compared to that.”
“I’m not sure it’s a good idea for me to be seen with you two.” Brodie ran alongside, giving us shit about looking whipped, but I didn’t care.
“You’re just jealous that you don’t have one of these to push yet,” Jackson said.
“My time’s coming. Gabrielle told me last night. She’s six weeks pregnant.”
“That’s awesome. It’s nice that all our kids will be around the same age,” Jackson said. “I’ve heard cousins are fun to grow up with. Our uncle never had any kids,” he added.
“Brothers are good to grow up with, too,” Brodie said, wrapping his arm around my neck in a chokehold, giving me a taste of things I’d probably missed out on as a kid.
“No doubt.” I coughed, wiggling my neck free from his grasp.
“Gabrielle and I wanted to move to the beach, but last night we were talking, and I think we like the idea of raising a kid around here.”
“Yeah, I agree,” I said. “And that’s why Mel and I decided to move up.”
“That’s fantastic. I’m glad,” Jackson said.
“Yeah, me, too,” Brodie added.
“We want to get away from the city. It was great for us when we were unattached, but we want Becket to live somewhere…not so fast-paced as the city. San Francisco is a fun place to visit or live when you’re single, but I think the city can be rough on a child. I want him to be able to enjoy the peacefulness and the sounds of the country and be able to build a fort in the backyard or some other private place he can go and just be. A thinking spot. I’d always wanted a thinking spot when I was a kid. We lived just outside the city. It was okay, and Mel’s mom still lives there, but we didn’t have much space or safe places we could go to explore.”
“Makes perfect sense. You want Becket to have a better life than you did,” Brodie said.
“Yeah.”
“Maybe we can help with that,” Jackson offered, and I gave him a rather surprised glance. “Don’t look so shocked, Ash, that’s what brothers do. We help each other.”
I’d spent so many years hating these two guys. So much useless time wasted, wanting something I could have easily had if I’d taken the time to find them earlier.
Now, all the hating and the jealousy I’d spent so many years perfecting was beautifully undone by my brothers and my beautiful wife and son. I had a family, and I belonged to them just as much as they belonged to me.

If you read this book before reading the other two books in The Beaumont Brothers series, that’s okay. There are no spoilers in this book, but if you want to go back and find out how Jackson and Lena or Brodie and Gabrielle met, please check out Beautifully Wounded before diving into Beautifully Used. They can both be read as stand-alones, but if you’re a stickler for continuity, you should start with Wounded.

What’s next?
Throughout 2016 I have plans to publish four more books, maybe five if everything works out. I’ll be working on consecutive books in both the Immortal Hearts of San Francisco and The Sectorium series. Both of these series are paranormal romance. I also have another contemporary building in my head, something completely different. It should be fun, though, and I’m looking forward to starting that.
