“Yeah, my sister broke up with him the night before the wedding.” Leo shook his head. “Found out she'd lied to Caine. Told him she was saving herself for after the wedding when in fact, she'd bonked all the groomsmen the month before and I smelled her pregnancy. As her older brother, I took offense and thought Caine had taken advantage of her. I challenged him to a shifter dual.”

“Damn!” A shifter dual was both parties fighting as their animal. Leo as a lion shifter would've been a fierce opponent to many but against a dragon? Caine wouldn't have stood a chance.

“Right.” Leo winked. “Stupid dragon only blocked my attacks. He had every right to put me down...kill me and no one would blink...but he didn't. Once I got all my anger out, he let me check his blood for truth. I saw for myself that Caine never fucked my sister.”

“And what about her?” I traced the lines of Caine's hands resting on my stomach. “Did she try to stop the fight?”

“Nah,” Leo said. “She never even came to witness. Her thoughts were Caine wouldn't attack me and if I killed him, then as his fiancée, she'd get his fortune. Instead, I gained a blood brother.”

“Now it's your turn, sweetheart,” Jerry wiped his hands. Tell us how you two met.”

I spent the next hour explaining the council and thirteenth zodiac sign and the shifters that chased us here and nearly killed us.

Gregg whistled. “And I thought my story was the best one. Girl, you had it bad.”

“It's not over yet.” Caine shifted on the bar stool, his arms slipping from me.

I gasped as wave after wave of lust crashed over me. Drowning, I reached for him. But even putting a hand on him and one on Jerry wasn't enough.

“Oh goddess, it's starting again.” My body trembled with need.

“Good thing you have us then.” Leo pulled my stool out, then parted my legs, and knelt before me.

I panted, my hands clutching the stool to keep my balance.

Caine rubbed my breasts from behind. The silk fabric of the robe fell open. I moaned as Jerry stood on my left and kissed me. He swept his tongue inside my mouth, sucking lightly on mine.

Meanwhile, Leo licked my clit, and I squirmed at the intimacy racing through me. My desire shooting up the chart to triple digits. Gregg’s dark hand held mine, then guided my palm to his cock. I gripped his penis and stroked him up and down, his girth and length increasing.

So many sensations of mouths and hands on me that I fell in a sea of passion that pushed me to ecstasy. Every sexual nerve in my body was on fire. And still, Leo lapped up my juices. My nipples pebbled under Caine's fingers while I hand-pumped Gregg and Jerry kissed me so passionately that he stole my breath.

“May I, mistress?” Leo asked, taking off his pants.

I nodded a second before Jerry claimed my mouth again.

A second later, Leo rose and pulled out his cock. He plunged inside me, filling me and rocked his hips against mine. Caine stayed behind me, supporting my back. I wrapped my legs around Leo to feel him deeper inside me. Jerry moved from my mouth to my right breast and sucked. I groaned and desire spiked through me.

As if the guys had coordinated this from the beginning, Caine nuzzled my neck just below my ear, my eyes unfocused in my lust-filled haze. Gregg suckled my left breast while my hand moved up and down on him.

My orgasm sparked as Leo thrust harder and deeper into me. Wave after wave of pleasure overtook me.

When Leo climaxed and pulled out, I cried out from the loss.

“Don't fear,” Gregg said and took Leo's place. “Let me make you all better.” He shoved inside me and I trembled with need.

Leo took his place at my breast.

“God, you feel even better here than your ass,” Gregg's North African accent made me cum again.

“I want a piece of that ass.” Jerry pouted.

  “Yes, please,” I breathed out.

Gregg moved out of me and my body sagged from the loss. “Only a moment.”

Caine and Gregg lifted me from the stool cause honestly, I didn't think I could walk.

They carried me to the couch where Gregg stretched out all six foot four of his luscious dark body amazingly keeping his dick inside me.

Behind me, Caine moved to the side while Jerry opened a bottle of lube he got from somewhere and drowned his cock with it.

Anticipation barreled through me as Jerry lined up behind me. He slid into me and pumped in unison with Gregg. Both filling me and making me lose myself.

  “Fuck!” I screamed.

Both grunted and spilled their seed into me. When they shifted fully out of me, I wanted more.

“My turn,” Caine's growl sent chills through me.

I laid on the couch, after letting Jerry and Gregg move out of the way. Caine laid over me. His teeth grazing my neck, and I mewled. He shoved his cock into me. I gasped as he moved nearly out completely before sliding all the way back in again. The delicious torture drove me toward another orgasm. I couldn't stop it if I tried.

My breaths panted and I trembled underneath him. He moved harder. Faster. Until I exploded.

“Say my name,” he whispered in my ear. “Let them know I am yours and you are mine.”

At his words, another orgasm tore through me. “Caine!”

Inside my soul, something clicked in place. And I knew that no matter how many lovers I had to take, these four would be my foundation.

Seconds later, Caine shouted his release.

Spent, I moved so that Caine and I laid side by side on the couch. Gregg was in one of the recliners, naked but sleeping. Jerry had crashed on the floor. His jagged shark scar on his thigh made him look more rugged than when I first met him.

Leo was curled up like a big cat on the other end of the sofa with his surfer-blond hair hanging over his eyes as he slept. If he were closer, I'd brush it out of his eyes.

Behind me, Caine rumbled and drew me closer.

These four men belonged to me and I, them. A week ago, I couldn't have imagined my life like this. And now, I couldn't think of being without them. Each was unique and I couldn't wait to get to know them better.

When the elder had first told me that I was going to have a harem of twelve men, I balked. What could I possibly do with that many men?

Hearing their tales of how they'd been mistreated only endeared me to them more. I wanted to help them...all the shifters. Remove the prejudice of humans and witches and even others outside of each of their clans. For once, I was excited about the future and the potential to help others. To make a difference in my world besides the occasional healing or hex removal spells.

But we had to find the rest of my court first.

  Chapter Twelve

I awoke satisfied but sore all over. Groaning, I pried myself from the couch and Caine's arms. For now, my desire was in check, but how long would it last? It was freeing to not be consumed with having to have sex for a moment though.

My steps grew heavy as I dragged myself to the bathroom. After a shower, I felt better and tucked the towel around me. I was going to have to get my clothes from Aunt Jess’ place soon. As much as I wanted to, I couldn't walk around Caine's house in a towel or a silk robe all the time. Besides, how could I convince other witches and then the shifter community to accept each other if I didn’t have anything to wear?

I chuckled at the thought of appearing before both high councils naked. A spike of lust shot through me and I closed my eyes, forcing down the passion raging just below the surface. After a few seconds, the sensation calmed somewhat. Goddess, I couldn’t have sex twenty-four/seven. I had to have rest and food and I wanted to develop deeper relationships with these men.

I hadn’t even gotten a chance to explore Caine’s huge house yet. I'd only seen the hot springs, kitchen, living room, master bedroom and bath of Caine's lair but there were dozens of other rooms and hallways I hadn't explored. But from what I had seen, this home could accommodate twelve shifters plus me easily. Wasn't like I could fit them into my ti
ny bedroom Aunt Jess’ apartment.

For now, I guess we could all stay here if Caine was okay with that. But eventually, I’d like to have a home for us closer to town. Climbing up this blasted mountain every time I wanted to go out didn’t sound appealing at all.

At the image of Caine and the others crowded on my single bed, I giggled.

The scent of waffles and bacon had me drifting into the kitchen. My stomach rumbled.

Jerry was pouring batter into a waffle iron. His red hair was damp like he'd had a shower and it stuck up in places. Leo was still asleep on the couch all curled up. In the distance, water ran like someone else was taking a shower.

I slid onto the bar stool and smiled. “Smells delicious.”

“Good. I aim to please you in more than just sex,” his slight Scottish brogue making me tingly inside.

I glanced back at the couch again hunting for Caine. He wasn't in the master bath or bedroom or I'd have bumped into him. Was he in the shower I heard running?

Gregg, the gorilla shifter was missing too.

“Where are the others?” I asked.

Jerry flipped the bacon over and my mouth watered. I could get used to having a guy cook for me all the time. Usually, my breakfast consisted of a bowl of cereal or a protein bar.

“Gregg's in the shower,” Jerry answered. “And Caine went into town for supplies.”

“How far is that?” It had taken us a while to get here.

“He's in his dragon form.” Jerry nodded, putting the bacon onto a paper towel-lined plate. “My guess is he’ll be back after breakfast and the dishes are cleaned. Caine hates doing them.” Jerry winked. “So if you want him to do anything for you, use washing dishes to win.”

I grinned. “Thanks for the tip. And what's your weakness?”

“No lassie, I won't be giving away my secrets.” He plated a steaming waffle and two sides of bacon for me.

After I doused the waffle with syrup, I ate until I was full. “That was the best. Thank you.’

Jerry blushed the splatter of freckles across his face disappearing. He finished off four waffles and a quarter of the bacon.

Sure hoped Caine was rich as I thought because food for all of us was going to be expensive.

Leo plopped down beside me. “I can't sleep with all this amazing food filling every breath.”

“Sit here,” I leaped off the stool and added a stack of pancakes and bacon to a plate and laid it on the bar in front of him. “Compliments of Jerry. Eat up.”

Gregg emerged from one of the back hallways, naked. His teeth shiny and white against his dark skin. “Man, I am starving.’

I made him a plate while Jerry scrubbed the greasy bacon pan in the sink.

Both Leo and Gregg scarfed down the food in no time.

“What about Caine?” I asked as only one slice of bacon was left.

“He eats while he's out.” Gregg shrugged. “It's rare that I've ever seen him eat human food.”

“Wait. Do you mean to tell me that he eats...like a dragon would? Goats or cows or something?”

“It's the only way to keep his dragon side strong.” Jerry rubbed the red stubble on his chin. “Once every other day is enough to sustain him.”

I balked but I also didn't want Caine weak. The witches weren't going to just agree to the better treatment of shifters and humans would attack if they felt threatened.

So what if Caine hunted and ate live prey? Wasn't like I was any better. I wasn't a vegan or anything.

“You look tense.” Gregg stood at my back and his warm fingers massaged my shoulders, easing the tension out of me.

“God, you've got magic hands,” I mumbled as he worked.

Once I was relaxed and all the knots out of my muscles eased, I sat on the couch, my towel draped over me. Leo was in the shower while Jerry had left for the grocery store to grab fixings for steaks and baked potatoes for dinner as well as food for all of us for the rest of the week.

“Miss me?” Caine asked coming up the stairs with tons of clothing bags in his arms.

I shot off the couch, my towel falling to the side, as I crashed into him. It felt like he'd been gone for days, not a few hours.

His bags fell to the floor as he wrapped his arms over me and kissed me. Around me, the world vanished. It was only his warm mouth on mine.

When we finally pulled apart, he was as breathless as me.

“Guess the answer to my question is yes?” He grinned.

“Fuck yes, I missed you.” I tapped his shoulder then glanced down at the dozens of shopping bags with clothes spilling out of the top. All from name brand department stores. “Um...are you a clothes horse or something?”

“Not for me. These are for you and the others.”

His thoughtful gesture had me on my tippy toes and kissing his nose.

  “Thank you.”

“Yeah, thanks, man.” Gregg patted his shoulder and Leo gave him a salute.

I rummaged through the bags and dressed in a mini skirt and tank top. Underwear and everything else would have to be washed but for now, I had clothes.

“Thought I heard Caine.” Leo marched into the living room. His blond hair still wet from his shower and trails of water dribbled down his cut abs. “Awesome. Clothes.”

Leo yanked on a pair of sweatpants. Following his lead, Gregg donned a pair of yellow shorts. Hmmm…part of me liked having them naked…us all naked.

Damn, the desire was stirring again. I pushed down the craving because once we got started again, I didn’t think I could stop.

“How long before Karen needs sex again?” Leo asked looking me up and down. “She's damn sexy hot in that skirt and top.”

“How are you feeling?” Caine asked.

“I'm good. A little self-conscious but okay.” I lied. Really, I didn’t need sex all the time, right?

His shoulders eased some. “Good. Hopefully having us around will buy you some time.”

Would the next bunch fill me as well as these four? In the short time together, I felt like I belonged. Like I had a family and was content. Four gorgeous that would do anything for me and I would the same for them.

“Caine,” I asked, “I love your place but it’s so…stony. Could we install some windows like the kind no one can see in from the outside?”

He clapped his hands and around the living room and kitchen, the stone surfaces reflected the outside of the mountain like glass.

“Whoa!” I crept up to the closest one besides one of the recliners. It felt like stone to the touch. “What is this?”

“Dragonglass. It’s still the stone from the mountain except imbued with magic that allows us to view without anyone looking in.” Caine sat on the couch and I plopped beside him.

“You’ll have to teach me that trick sometime,” I said. What else could Caine do that I wasn’t aware of?

“Anytime, beautiful.” He tucked me to his side.

Leo, Jerry, and Gregg snatched up the bags and disappeared. I moved to get up and help them with the clothes, but Caine kept me by his side. Inhaling my hair, he sighed. “I’ve not had you to myself forever it seems.”

“Now that you do, what are you planning on doing?” My pulse sped up. “But neither have the others.”

“They can join us later. For now, let me show you little coyote-witch, I’ll give you a night you’ll never forget.”

And I couldn’t wait as I straddled him and kissed him. My dragon, gorilla, lion, and bear rode me all night long until we collapsed into Caine’s bed a twist of arms and legs. Their presence comforted me. Later, we’d sort out the other eight men, but for now, we were bonding and I never wanted to stop.

  Hunted – Sneak Peek

  * * *

“Good afternoon. I’m Mr. Westin.” The man’s deep voice resonated with authority. He stood in front of her chair, holding out his hand and had an easy smile that relaxed and entranced her—all at the same time.

His dark hair was wavy and ended just above his ears, his eyes the deepest shade of blue she’d ever seen. Or maybe they were contacts. She guessed he was in his mid-thirties and when his smile widened, the fluorescent lighting overhead reflected off his white teeth. Did he bleach his teeth every day to get them that white?

“You are Miss Snider?” His grin faltering around the edges.
