After a thoughtful sigh, Face said, "No, leave them alone. I got who I came for."

Reese placed his pistol under his t-shirt and followed Face out of the bedroom, leaving the two terrified children crying into their duct taped mouths. And although they couldn’t see, they knew their mother lay dead only a few feet away.

Doc was waiting for them out in the hallway. He was carrying his bag of medical instruments with the large jar containing Hood's heart.

"Our job is done. Let's get out of here," Face said, as they all startedwalking toward the stairs.

Doc stopped and said, "Ya'll fellas wait for me down stairs. I'll be another minute or so."

Face and Reese looked at Doc's strange expression. "Is everything alright, Doc?" Face asked.

"Everything is fine. I just need a minute to take care of something." "Okay, we'll wait for you downstairs," Face said, then he and Reese turned and walked away.

"What's up with Doc?" Reese asked, as they walked down the stairs."I don't know, and I'm afraid to find out," Face smiled as he sat on the arm of the sofa.

Reese nodded and smiled with agreement. They both knew Doc was indeed a very strange motherfucker.

  "Oh, shit!" Face said.

  "What is it?"

"We forgot the money!" Face said. He and Reese both jumped up and ran back up the stairs.

They rushed into the master suite. The sight of Hood's mutilated body, along with the overwhelming smell of blood had them on the verge of throwing up. Face opened the closet door and Reese followed him inside. They saw two large black suitcases on the top shelf. They each reached up and grabbed one of the suitcases. Face sat his on the floor and unzipped it. Neat stacks of hundred-dollar bills stared him in the face. It was the most money either of them had ever seen.

"Damn! Killa-D was right again," Reese laughed.

They each carried one of the heavy suitcases out of the bedroom andclosed the door behind them. The latex surgical gloves they had all been wearing prevented them from leaving fingerprints behind. They stood in the hallway waiting for Doc. He was still in the back bedroom with the two kids and Britney's corpse.

"Come on, let's go see what's taking Doc so long," Face said.

They sat their suitcases down and started walking toward the back bedroom. When they approached the closed door, they heard a loud grunting sound coming from the other side.

When Face turned the doorknob and pushed the door open, he and Reese stood there in total shock. They couldn't believe their eyes. Doc was lying on top of Britney's naked corpse, his pants around his knees and he was having sex with her dead body. It was the same heinous act that had gotten him kicked out of medical school and banned from the profession.

Doc quickly stood up and pulled up his pants. He was embarrassed to be caught... Again!

While they all walked out of the front door, carrying two suitcases filled with money, neither of them said a word. This had been one of thestrangest nights of Face’s life. However, his crying soul was now feeling some relief.

He had avenged his mother and the murder of his father by killingHood. For Face, it was the ultimate revenge. Yet, deep down inside, he knew it was only the beginning…

The legacy of the man who would became known as the Black Scarfacehad begun.

Written by Jimmy DaSaint & Freeway Ricky Ross ABOUT THE AUTHORS

Ricky Ross, aka Freeway Rick, was one of the most powerful drugdealers in the United States. Throughout the violent 80’s crack era, Freeway Rick made millions of dollars; he had once made a milliondollars a day for a month straight. Rick became so successful in the illegaldrug trade that, unbeknownst to him at the time, he was protected by theCIA during the Iran-Contra years (see “Dark Alliance” by Gary Webb). Freeway Rick was eventually convicted in 1996 of conspiracy to buy morethan 100 kilograms of cocaine from a DEA informant. Although he wasinitially sentenced to life in Federal Prison without the possibility ofparole, in 1998, a Federal Appeals court threw the life sentence out. Upon the Federal Judge's reconsideration, Rick was resentenced to 20 years. In 2006, B.E.T. aired the American Gangster series and Freeway Rick's entire life story was featured to a nationwide audience. In 2007, Rick’sstory was a focal point of the award-winning Showtime documentary; American Drug War. From the streets of L.A. to the inside of the Federal Prison System, Freeway Rick is considered a legend. During his time in prison, Rick turned his life around and spent his time learning andeducating others about how to be successful without breaking the law. And he was the only federal inmate to have his own online social-networking website: FreewayEnterprise.com. Freeway Ricky Ross was released

from prison May of 2009. James Mathis, aka Jimmy DaSaint, was born in the rough streets of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In the early 90's, Jimmy started a successful rap camp called I.C.H. (Inner City Hustlers). It didn't take long for I.C.H. to become one of the best rap camps in all of Philly. In 1997, Jimmy was shot 10 times in an attempted robbery/kidnapping, and as a result spent 3weeks in a coma. In 1999, two rappers that Jimmy managed, Oschino &Sparks, were signed to Rockafella Records and the I.C.H. camp was on their way to major stardom. But, after selling drugs to an undercover FBI informant, Jimmy DaSaint
