“You mentioned you wanted to try some kink. I brought some kink.”

I leaned to reach for it, but Sundance shook his head, keeping me pinned to him.

  I frowned. “I don’t even get a hint?”

“Nope,” he replied. “You’re just gonna have to wait.”

“Do you want to eat first?”

  “Up to you.”

I bit my lip. “Kink, then food.”

  He laughed. “There’s my girl.”

We got up off my foyer floor and I led Sundance back to my bedroom.

“Where do you want me?” I asked.

“Right here.” He slid my robe from my shoulders and ran his finger between my breasts. “Beautiful, Dimples.”

Pulling a bandana from his back pocket, he blindfolded me with it, then kissed me. “Trust me?”

  I nodded, licking my lips.

I heard a zipper, then rustling, and I felt goosebumps form over my flesh in anticipation.

“I’m gonna lay you on the bed,” Sundance said, and guided me onto the mattress. “I want your arms above your head and your knees bent.”

I did as he instructed and something cold, lube maybe, hit my clit making me squirm. Then he pressed something against it, and I cocked my head. “What the hell are you doing to me?”

I heard the smile in his voice when he said, “Trust me.”

A mild electric shock hit my nub and I cried out, almost knifing off the bed as I gripped my comforter in my hands.

“You okay?” Sundance asked, and the vibration stopped.

“Keep going,” I begged. The vibration started again, and I arched my hips involuntarily. “Oh my god!”

  “Baby, I need more words.”

“It’s good. Oh, god, so good. Now, stop talking and fuck me!” I screeched.

  “You want—?”

“Thorne Sundance Graves,” I ripped the bandana off my head and scowled at him while trying not to come because the vibration from what I’d just discovered was a TENS unit, was still working its magic on my clit, and demanded, “I want you to turn that contraption up, shove your dick in my pussy and fuck me hard while my clit is vibrated all to hell. Enough words for you, big man?”

He grinned and I suddenly realized he was completely naked, hard as a rock, and held a condom in his hand.

I waved my finger in a circular motion towards his dick. “More rolling rubber, less looking pleased with yourself.”

He laughed, settling himself between my legs, then hovering over me. “You want me to fuck you?”

The vibration hit a little harder than before and I moaned in response, hooking my leg around his waist. I was rewarded with his dick buried deep inside me and I lost my hold on my composure and screamed as I came so hard, I nearly fell off the bed.

Sundance gripped my hips and continued to slam into me, building yet another orgasm in me as the TENS unit kept buzzing away. I grabbed for his arms, but they were so damn thick, I lost purchase on him and nearly fell off the bed again. Sundance collapsed on top of me, his body shaking with laughter as he reached for the TENS control and turned it off.

“Stop laughing,” I demanded. “You’re interrupting my orgasm.”

  “Jesus, woman, you had twelve.”

“Three,” I corrected. “Well, I was working on three until you started laughing.”

He met my eyes and grinned. “Need me to go again?”

I cupped his face. “Did you come?”

“Yeah, Dimples, I came. Hard.” He kissed me gently.

“We’ll be doin’ that again,” I decreed.

He nodded. “Hell, yeah, we’ll be doing that again, but I’m thinking we’ll need to chain you to the bed before we start.”

“Well, if your arms weren’t the size of my thighs, I might have something to hold onto.”

He chuckled. “I’m gonna get rid of the condom. Be right back.”

Before leaving the bed, he gently removed the TENS pad on my clit and I squirmed, admittedly wanting more. Sundance headed to my bathroom, returning with a warm washcloth and wiping the gel and my cum from my body.

After chucking the towel in the corner, he leaned down and kissed my mound, then stretched out on the bed, pulling me against him.

“It’s possible I might be addicted to you,” I said, kissing his chest.

“Same, Dimples.” He gave me a squeeze. “You up to coming to the cabin this weekend?”

I settled my chin on my hand and met his eyes. “This weekend? The whole weekend?”

“Yeah. Want you in my space.”

I bit my lip in an effort to stave off the girly squeal threatening to spill. “Girls’ night Friday, but I could come after. As long as Teddy can come on Saturday.”

He stroked my cheek. “You don’t even need to ask, baby. He’s always welcome.”

The warm fuzzies settled low in my belly. “Thanks.”

“Who are you goin’ out with on Friday?”

“Ripley and YaYa, and a few of YaYa’s friends.”

  “Where?”

I shrugged. “Don’t know yet. Why?”

“Because I want a recruit on you.”

  “No. Absolutely not.”

  “Dimp—”

“No,” I stressed, covering his mouth with my fingers. “I don’t know YaYa well, and have never met her friends, so the last thing I need is some weirdo following us.”

“What if I promise not to send a weirdo?”

“Still no. Jesus, Ripley’s already way too far up in my business, the last thing I need is her asking a bunch of questions.”

  “Wyatt—”

“Sunny,” I interrupted, mimicking his tone as I scrambled off the bed.

  “Where ya goin’?”

  “I need distance.”

He slid his hand behind his head and raised an eyebrow. “You seriously gonna fight me on this?”

“Yes.” I reached for my robe laying across my bed, but Sundance tugged it from my hands.

“I’m liking the view, baby, let’s keep this off.”

I tugged back. “I’d like to put it on.”

  “Why are you hidin’?”

I wrinkled my nose. “Stop looking into my soul.”

He laughed, sitting up and patting the mattress. “Come here.”

  “No.”

  “Talk to me, Dimples.”

“Can I put my robe on?”

“Nope,” he retorted. “I want to see all of you when you tell me your secrets.”

“I have never had anyone want to protect me the way you do,” I admitted. “I can’t figure out if I like it or if it scares me to death.”

  “Why would it scare you?”

“Because it would mean I need the protection.”

He patted the bed again. “Come here.”

Since I was a little cold, I slid back under the covers and Sundance hauled me up against him again.

“Do you work out?” I asked, and he laughed.

  “Talk about a subject change.”

I sighed, tracing my finger over his pec. “I just can’t imagine how you’d get this big.”

“I lift a bit, but I’m not religious about it.” He patted my butt and I looked up at him. “Stop trying to change the subject. You’re not in danger.”

“Did your wife think the same?”

“No. She was aware shit was coming down,” he said, and I shivered. Sundance pulled me closer and bit out, “I wish I’d kept that information from you.”

“Me too,” I admitted, then pushed myself up, but Sundance wouldn’t let me go, so I flopped onto his chest.

  “Babe—”

“I’m partially kidding,” I rushed to say. “I think it’s important that I know.”

“Then why are you freaking out?”

  “Because this is scary.”

“Baby, you’re not in any danger. There’s no reason to be scared.”

I frowned. “You putting a recruit on me makes me feel like I have a reason to be scared.

He slid his finger down my cheek and sighed. “I’m being proactive about your protection. Nothing will touch you.”

“I feel like this is moving in a direction I’m somewhat unprepared for.”

  “In what way?”

“Well, are we even a couple?”

  “I’m not fuckin’ anyone else.”

“Neither am I,” I said. “But that’s not what I’m asking.”

He sighed. “Not sure I’m ready to give you my class ring, baby.”

“But I feel like you insisting someone follow me for my protection means something more. I haven’t even told Ripley about us and that’s mostly because I don’t know how any of this works in the biker world. Apparently, it’s akin to a fifties movie, and I’m pretty sure I’m Olivia Newton John in this scenario, which gives me hives.”

“That was a seventies movie depicting the fifties,” he pointed out.

I rolled my eyes. “To quote another seventies depiction of the fifties, ‘Sit on it,’” I retorted.

Sundance laughed, pulling me closer and kissing me. “You’re fuckin’ hilarious, Dimples.”

“Glad you think so,” I said with a frustrated sigh, trying to pull away from him again.

“Settle,” he ordered, and I scowled at him.

  “Excuse me?”

“Is there somethin’ else goin’ on here?” he asked.

“I just feel you’re moving too quickly. This is something people do in committed relationships. Not when they’re casually fucking each other.”

  “You need a commitment?”

I met his eyes. “Are you offering one?”

“Insomuch as I want to keep goin’ with what we got, yeah. I like you, baby. A fuck of a lot.”

I stroked his cheek. “I know myself enough to know eventually, I’ll want more,” I admitted.

  “How much more?”

“For now, I want to keep going with what we’ve got, but I also want to be yours.”

  “You are mine,” he growled.

“I want to move toward something permanent.”

  “Not gettin’ married again, Wyatt.”

I sighed. “What are we doing here, then?”

  “You wanna get married?”

“Not right now, obviously, but maybe one day.”

He rolled off me. “If that’s the case, I’m not the man for you, Wyatt.”

I forced back tears. “Yeah, I’m picking up on that.”

“Let’s take a step back,” he said, rolling me onto my back, he pinned me with his huge body and ran his nose against mine. “We’re still new. Let’s just keep going forward, okay?”

  I nodded.

“Will you let me protect you if I promise no one will know my guys are there?”

“I will let you do this if you promise that I won’t know they’re there.”

He grinned in triumph. “I can do that.”

  Well, crap.

I narrowed my eyes. “You’re a wily bastard, aren’t you?”

“I plead the fifth.” He shifted, kissing his way down my body. “You gonna let me fuck you into oblivion?”

  “I suppose.”

He grinned, then went about fucking me into oblivion.

FRIDAY NIGHT, I headed out of my condo and climbed into the back of a nondescript sedan, trying to pretend the driver wasn’t one of Sundance’s men.

This was a compromise, wholly on my side.

Meaning, I was giving Sundance everything he wanted and getting nothing in return. Except a designated driver, I suppose.

Sundance wanted his men on me, I didn’t want attention drawn to me in the form of the loud pipes of bikes, and I’d hoped he’d drop it.

Nope. He decided to send one of his bikers in a car with a fake sticker indicating a car service. Point: Sundance.

I wasn’t happy, but I’d be taking a car anyway (his astute deduction, another point to Sundance), so this killed two birds with one stone.

  “Hey, Wyatt.”

  “Aero, right?”

I recognized him from my one and only visit to the Howlers compound, plus he had a nametag on his vest.

  “Yep,” he said. “Where to?”

I gave him the address to the restaurant, and he guided the car out of my garage. Even though I tried for small talk, he didn’t engage, so I was stuck sitting in silence the whole way.

  I hated silence.

“You got my number?” he asked, pulling in front of the Bistro.

  “Yes.”

Sundance had programmed it into my phone before he left me, so there was no way I could say I lost it.

“Text me when you’re ready,” he directed. “I’ll meet you out here.”

  “I don’t know if we’ll stay here,” I said.

“I’ll drop you wherever you want to go.”

“Or, we can find our way.”

“Babe, don’t do that, yeah? Sundance wants you driven to and from venues, so don’t fuck with that.”

I sighed. “I’ll do my best.”

“Do my best,” Aero countered. “I’ll take you wherever you need to go.”

“Okay. Thanks,” I said, and climbed out of the car, making my way inside.

“Wyatt!” Ripley bellowed, and I grinned as I walked toward the table where she was sitting with YaYa and three other women.

“Hi,” I said as I sat down beside Ripley.

“This is Dana, Ruby, and Denise,” YaYa said, introducing me to her friends.

We all shook hands and then it was time to get our drink on.

By the time Ripley was falling down drunk, in the form of grinding against random men and literally falling flat on her face when she bent over too far, I had probably drank my weight in margaritas, then sweated it out with all the dancing we did, so I decided it was time to call it a night. I texted Aero, letting him know we weren’t at the Bistro anymore, then YaYa helped me wrangle Ripley out to the front.

I’d just taken a swig of beer and sat at my desk when my phone buzzed in my pocket. I pulled it out and saw it was Aero calling. I answered with a frown. “Everything okay with Wyatt?”

“Well, other than the fact she’s not at the Bistro? Yeah.”

“Why the fuck isn’t she at dinner?”

“Apparently, they decided to head to Nocturn.”

I sighed. Nocturn I could handle. She was protected at Nocturn, but it sounded like she’d left the Bistro without telling Aero which, no doubt, pissed him off.

  “Okay, so what’s the problem?”

“How long’s she been tight with Sonja?” Aero asked.

  “Excuse me?”

  “You didn’t know,” he muttered.

“Quit fuckin’ around, Aero,” I snapped.

“Wyatt and her friend are currently in the middle of a hug fest with Sonja outside Nocturn, which I’m guessin’ you knew nothing about.”

  Jesus, fuck.

  “Bring her here,” I growled.

  “What about her friend?”

“Drop her home first. Jesus, do I need to write you a fuckin’ honey-do list?”

  “Right. Got it.”

I hung up and dragged my hands through my hair.

  Fuck.

How could I have been so fuckin’ blind? And how the fuck could I have underestimated Sonja so thoroughly?

It would be just like her to try and get back in by dangling Wyatt in front of me. Jesus, the woman was smarter than I gave her credit for.

  Both of them were.

Well, they were gonna find out what happened when people get smart with me, and I’d make sure Wyatt, especially, never forgot.

Aero helped me walk Ripley to her duplex. I unlocked her door while Aero all but carried her inside and set her on her sofa. Since I had a spare key to her place, I made sure the front door was locked as we left, then followed Aero back out to the car.

  As we dr
ove, I realized we were going the opposite way of my condo. “You’re going the wrong way, Aero.”

“Sundance wants you at the cabin.”

“I know,” I said. “But I’m supposed to stop at my place for a few things first, remember?”

“He wants you there now.” Aero’s demeanor had gone from friendly and open, albeit monosyllabic, to closed and gruff since he’d picked us up, so I was a little confused as to what was going on.

I frowned. “Let me call him.”

I dialed Sundance’s number, but he didn’t answer, so I dropped my phone in my purse and tried not to worry.

Something was wrong. Something was very, very wrong.

“Look, I’m sorry I didn’t call when we moved from the restaurant to the club, but it was close. I didn’t want to bother you.”

Aero didn’t comment and I sighed. I wasn’t a child to be chastised for disobeying him, so I wasn’t going to try to defend myself. I didn’t do anything wrong.

We pulled up to the cabin and I climbed out of the car, making my way to the front door. My stomach roiled, mostly because Aero glared at me as we walked inside.

As we hit the great room, the family gathering was in full swing, and nothing seemed amiss. Everyone appeared to be having a great time, and I found myself relaxing.

Until I caught sight of Orion standing by one of the pinball machines. He was also glaring at me and I couldn’t stop myself from swallowing the bile that threatened to spill.

“What’s going on?” I asked Aero.

  “Follow me,” he said ominously.

I really should have just turned around and walked out right then, but I couldn’t seem to make my feet move away.

Aero pushed open a door at the back of the building and I stepped over the threshold to find Sundance leaning against a desk, his beefy arms crossed, and his face curled in an expression that made my blood run cold.

  He was angry.

No, what I was seeing was pure, unadulterated rage. Not just anger.

  “What’s wrong?” I whispered.

“If you ever repeat anything I’ve ever told you, or disclose anything you may have seen or heard while with me or at my club, I will fuckin’ end you.”

  “I would nev—”

He held his hand up. “I want you to delete my number, and I never want to see you again.”

  “What?” I breathed out.

  “Now, get the fuck out.”
